Let be the space of solutions to the parabolic equation having finite norm. We characterize nonnegative Radon measures μ on having the property , 1≤pq<, whenever . Meanwhile, denoting by v(t,x) the solution of the above equation with Cauchy data v0(x), we characterize nonnegative Radon measures μ on satisfying , β∈(0,n), p∈[1,n/β], q∈(0,). Moreover, we obtain the decay of v(t,x), an isocapacitary inequality and a trace inequality.  相似文献

In this work, the transient analytic solution is found for the initial-boundary-value Burgers equation in 0?x?L. The boundary conditions are a homogeneous Dirichlet condition at x=0 and a constant total flux at x=L. The technique used consists of applying the transformation that reduces Burgers equation to a linear diffusion-advection equation. Previous work on this equation in a bounded region has only applied the Cole-Hopf transformation , which transforms Burgers equation to the linear diffusion equation. The Cole-Hopf transformation can only solve Burgers equation with constant Dirichlet boundary conditions, or time-dependent Dirichlet boundary conditions of the form u(0,t)=F1(t) and u(L,t)=F2(t),0?x?L. In this work, it is shown that the Cole-Hopf transformation will not solve Burgers equation in a bounded region with the boundary conditions dealt with in this work.  相似文献

We prove that for any infinite field F, the map is an isomorphism for all n≥3. When n=2 the cokernel of this map is naturally isomorphic to , where is the nth Milnor K-group of F. In this paper we study the Cauchy problem of the non-isotropically perturbed fourth-order nonlinear Schrödinger type equation: ((x1,x2,…,xn)∈Rn, t?0), where a is a real constant, 1?d<n is an integer, g(x,|u|)u is a nonlinear function which behaves like α|u|u for some constant α>0. By using Kato method, we prove that this perturbed fourth-order Schrödinger type equation is locally well-posed with initial data belonging to the non-isotropic Sobolev spaces provided that s1,s2 satisfy the conditions: s1?0, s2?0 for or for with some additional conditions. Furthermore, by using non-isotropic Sobolev inequality and energy method, we obtain some global well-posedness results for initial data belonging to non-isotropic Sobolev spaces .  相似文献

In this paper, we explore some generalization of the transitive fraternal augmentations for directed graphs and its applications. In particular, we show that the 2-coloring number col2(G)≤O(1(G)0(G)2), where k(G) (k≥0) denotes the greatest reduced average density with depth k of a graph G; we give a constructive proof that k(G) bounds the distance (k+1)-coloring number colk+1(G) with a function f(k(G)). On the other hand, k(G)≤(col2k+1(G))2k+1. We also show that an inductive generalization of transitive fraternal augmentations can be used to study nonrepetitive colorings of graphs.  相似文献

This paper studies Artin-Tate motives over bases , for a number field F. As a subcategory of motives over S, the triangulated category of Artin-Tate motives is generated by motives , where ? is any finite map. After establishing the stability of these subcategories under pullback and pushforward along open and closed immersions, a motivic t-structure is constructed. Exactness properties of these functors familiar from perverse sheaves are shown to hold in this context. The cohomological dimension of mixed Artin-Tate motives () is two, and there is an equivalence .  相似文献

We deal with Markov semigroups Tt corresponding to second order elliptic operators Au=Δu+〈Du,F〉, where F is an unbounded locally Lipschitz vector field on . We obtain new conditions on F under which Tt is not analytic in . In particular, we prove that the one-dimensional operator Au=u″−x3u′, with domain , , is not sectorial in . For a linear integral equation there is a resolvent equation and a variation of parameters formula . It is assumed that B is a perturbed convex function and that a(t) may be badly behaved in several ways. When the first two equations are treated separately by means of a Liapunov functional, restrictive conditions are required separately on a(t) and B(t,s). Here, we treat them as a single equation where S is an integral combination of a(t) and B(t,s). There are two distinct advantages. First, possibly bad behavior of a(t) is smoothed. Next, properties of S needed in the Liapunov functional can be obtained from an array of properties of a(t) and B(t,s) yielding considerable flexibility not seen in standard treatment. The results are used to treat nonlinear perturbation problems. Moreover, the function is shown to converge pointwise and in L2[0,∞) to x(t).  相似文献

In 2008, Ron Brown gave a class P of monic irreducible polynomials over K such that to each g(x) belonging to P, there corresponds a smallest constant λg belonging to (referred to as Brown’s constant) with the property that whenever is more than λg with K(β) a tamely ramified extension of (K,v), then K(β) contains a root of g(x). Let be generalized order statistics based on a continuous distribution function F with parameters k and (m1,…,mn−1). Chen and Hu (2007) [8] investigated the sufficient conditions on F and on the parameters k and mi’s such that , where , and is the Shaked-Shanthikumar multivariate dispersive order. Since the order does not possess the closure property under marginalization, one may naturally wonder whether the corresponding multivariate margins of the above random vectors are also ordered in the order . This is answered affirmatively in this paper. Some comparison results for generalized order statistics from two samples are presented. Potential applications are also mentioned.  相似文献
