The nonlinear electrostatic drift waves are studied using quantum hydrodynamic model in dusty quantum magnetoplasmas. The dissipative effects due to collisions between ions and dust particles have also been taken into account. The Korteweg-de Vries Burgers (KdVB) like equation is derived and analytical solution is obtained using tanh method. The limiting cases of KdV type solitary waves, Burger type monotonic shock waves and oscillatory shock solutions are also presented. It is found that both hump and dip type solitary structures are possible in quantum dusty plasmas. However, amplitude and width of the nonlinear structure depend on the dust charge polarity and its concentration in electron-ion quantum plasmas. The monotonic shock like structure is independent of the quantum parameter. It is found that shock strength is increased in the presence of positively charged particles in comparison with negatively charged dust particles. The oscillatory shock structures are also obtained and it is found that change in dust charge polarity only shifts the phase of the oscillatory shock in plasmas. The numerical results are also presented for illustration.  相似文献

Crystallization waves in the dusty component of a complex plasma, which were recently observed experimentally, have been investigated numerically. The evolution of the system of charged microparticles whose interaction between each other is described by a screened Coulomb potential (Yukawa potential) has been numerically simulated using the molecular dynamics method. It has been shown that the process of the formation and propagation of a crystallization wave in such a system is fundamentally three-dimensional. Analysis of the local structure of dust particles behind the crystallization wave front indicates the coexistence of different types of the crystal lattice including the metastable phase, i.e., a nonequilibrium phase transition.  相似文献

An exact solution is obtained for the equations that describe nonlinear ion-acoustic waves in a dusty plasma. It is shown that the solution can be in the form of nonlinear periodic waves, solitons, and supernonlinear waves whose trajectories envelope one or several separatrices in the phase portrait of the wave. Profiles of physical quantities in the wave are constructed. The supernonlinear waves are shown to be of two types, subsonic (type 1) and supersonic (type 2). Existence regions of supernonlinear waves of both types and solitons are constructed in the plane of the problem parameters.  相似文献

运用约化摄动法研究了非均匀尘埃等离子体中孤子的传播情况. 在低阶近似下, 对于小的、但有限振幅的长波振动, 当分界面不连续变化时,孤子在不连续点的反射波与透射波均可由 KdV 方程来描述, 并给出了低阶近似情况下, 对于小的、但有限振幅的长波振动, 当入射波为单孤子时, 反射孤子与透射孤子的个数及其大小;当分界面是有限长度并连续变化时,对于小的、但有限振幅的长波振动, 尘埃声孤波由KdV型方程来描述,并由此给出了准孤子振幅、传播速度等参量在传播过程中的变化. 关键词: 尘埃等离子体 孤子 KdV方程 约化摄动法  相似文献

The dynamics of a self-gravitating unmagnetized, inhomogeneous, streaming dusty plasma is studied in the present work. The presence of the shear flow causes the coupling between gravitational and electrostatic forces. In the absence of self-gravity, the fluctuations in the plasma may grow at the expense of the density inhomogeneity and for certain wavelengths, such an unstable mode may dominate the usual streaming instability. However, in the presence of self-gravity, the plasma inhomogeneity causes an overlap between Jeans and streaming modes and collapse of the grain will continue at all wavelengths.  相似文献

With the use of the method of moments applicable for any values of the parameter of the nonideality of a dusty plasma and the hydrodynamic approach applicable only for small nonideality parameters, the theory of waves and oscillations of a complex plasma has been generalized to the case of a two-exponential interaction potential. It has been shown that the hydrodynamic approach and method of moments give the same dispersion relation for small nonideality parameters. It has been demonstrated that the velocity of dust acoustic waves in the long- and short-wavelength regions is determined by the small and large screening constants, respectively. It has been shown that the velocity of dust acoustic waves in nonequilibrium plasma is much higher than that obtained in the Debye screening theory for equilibrium plasma. In the hydrodynamic approach, the importance of the inclusion of the self-consistent mutual effect of the dust, electron, and ion components, and sinks of electrons and ions on dust particles, which lead to a noticeable change in the parameters of the interaction potential of dust particles, has been demonstrated.  相似文献

An adiabatic hot dusty plasma (containing non-inertial adiabatic electron and ion fluids, and negatively charged inertial adiabatic dust fluid) is considered. The basic properties of arbitrary amplitude dust-acoustic (DA) solitary waves, which exist in such an adiabatic hot dusty plasma, are explicitly examined by the pseudo-potential approach. To compare the basic properties (critical Mach number, amplitude and width) of the DA solitary waves observed in a dusty plasma containing adiabatic electron, ion and dust fluids with those observed in a dusty plasma containing isothermal electron and ion fluids and adiabatic dust fluid, it has been found that the adiabatic effect of inertia-less electron and ion fluids has significantly modified the basic properties of the DA solitary waves, and that on the basic properties of the DA solitary waves, the adiabatic effect of electron and ion fluids is much more significant than that of the dust fluid.  相似文献

本文探讨具有温度和密度梯度的非均匀量子等离子体系统, 获得了该系统在离子与中子碰撞频率较低情况下的二维非线性流体动力学方程. 求得了非均匀量子等离子体中的电势的冲击、爆炸和旋涡解.分析讨论了在致密天体物理环境中静电势的变化, 结果表明电势的冲击波的幅度和爆炸波的宽度,都随密度的增大(即随无维量子参量的减小)而增大, 但随漂移速度的增大(即随密度和温度梯度的增大)而减小; 静电势随时空相位的增大而趋向于稳定值, 系统最后达到稳定的状态. 旋涡解表明,旋涡静电势的时空分布呈现稳定的周期性的旋涡流.  相似文献

A theoretical model is presented to study the characteristics of dust acoustic shock in a viscous, magnetized, rotating dusty plasma at both fast and slow time scales. By employing the reductive perturbation technique, the non-linear Zakharov–Kuznetsov–Burger (ZKB) equation is derived for both cases when the dust is inactive and dynamic (fast and slow time scales). Both electrons and ions are considered to follow the kappa/Cairns distribution. It is observed that in both cases, i.e. when dust is in the background and active, viscosity plays a key role in dissipation for the propagation of acoustic shock. Magnetic field and rotation are responsible for the dispersive term. Superthermality is found to affect significantly the formation of the shock wave along with viscous nature of plasma, whereas the dust charge affects the non-linear coefficient of the ZKB equation. The present investigation may be beneficial to the understanding of the rotating plasma, in particular the experiments being carried out.  相似文献

The linear dispersion properties of transverse shear waves in a strongly coupled dusty plasma are experimentally studied in a DC discharge device by exciting them in a controlled manner with a variable frequency external source. The dusty plasma is maintained in the strongly coupled fluid regime with (1<Γ?Γc) where Γ is the Coulomb coupling parameter and Γc is the crystallization limit. A dispersion relation for the transverse waves is experimentally obtained over a frequency range of 0.1 Hz to 2 Hz and found to show good agreement with viscoelastic theoretical results.  相似文献

A theory of ion-sound waves in a dusty electron-positron-ion plasma is developed. It is shown in the linear approximation that periodic waves exist in a bounded range of parameters. The expression for the sound velocity is derived and the dependence of the velocity on the space charge of dust particles is analyzed. In the nonlinear theory, the general exact solution is obtained, which is then analyzed using the Bernoulli pseudopotential method. Particular solutions are obtained in the form of nonlinear periodic waves, large-amplitude periodic waves (superlinear waves), and solitary compression and rarefaction waves (solitons).  相似文献

In this paper, the fractional-order model is used to study dust acoustic rogue waves in dusty plasma. Firstly, based on control equations, the multi-scale analysis and reduced perturbation method are used to derive the (3+1)-dimensional modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (MKP) equation. Secondly, using the semi-inverse method and the fractional variation principle, the (3+1)-dimensional time-fractional modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (TF-MKP) equation is derived. Then, the Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative is used to study the symmetric property and conservation laws of the (3+1)-dimensional TF-MKP equation. Finally, the exact solution of the (3+1)-dimensional TF-MKP equation is obtained by using fractional order transformations and the definition and properties of Bell polynomials. Based on the obtained solution, we analyze and discuss dust acoustic rogue waves in dusty plasma.  相似文献

The Vlasov kinetic equation is solved using gyrokinetic theory and the dielectric tensor for non-relativistic, magnetized, bi-Maxwellian plasmas is calculated. A generalized dispersion relation for kinetic Alfven waves is derived taking into account the density inhomogeneity and temperature anisotropy. The modified dispersion relation thus obtained is then used to examine the propagation characteristics of the kinetic Alfven waves in the inertial regime. The importance of density inhomogeneity and temperature anisotropy for Solar corona is highlighted.
