Dark green crystals of (NpO(2))(3)(OH)(SeO(3))(H(2)O)(2)·H(2)O (1) have been prepared by a hydrothermal reaction of neptunyl(V) and Na(2)SeO(4) in an aqueous solution at 150 °C, while green plates of Na(NpO(2))(SeO(3))(H(2)O) (2) have been synthesized by evaporation of a solution of neptunyl(V), H(2)SeO(4), and NaOH at room temperature. Both compounds have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of compound contains three crystallographically unique Np atoms that are bonded to two O atoms to form a nearly linear O═Np═O NpO(2)(+) cation. Neighboring Np(5+) ions connect to each other through a bridging oxo ion from the neptunyl unit, a configuration known as cation-cation interactions (CCIs), to build a complex three-dimensional network. More specifically, each Np(1)O(2)(+), Np(2)O(2)(+), and Np(3)O(2)(+) cation is involved in three, five, and four CCIs with other units, respectively. The framework of neptunyl(V) pentagonal bipyramids is decorated by selenite trigonal pyramids with one-dimensional open channels where uncoordinated waters are trapped via hydrogen bonding interactions. Compound adopts uranophane-type [(NpO(2))(SeO(3))](-) layers, which are separated by Na(+) cations and water molecules. Within each layer, neptunyl(V) pentagonal bipyramids share equatorial edges with each other to form a single chain that is further connected by both monodentate and bidentate selenite trigonal pyramids. Crystallographic data: compound, monoclinic, P2(1)/c, Z = 4, a = 6.6363(8) ?, b = 15.440(2) ?, c = 11.583(1) ?, β = 103.549(1)°, V = 1153.8(2) ?(3), R(F) = 0.0387 for I > 2σ(I); compound (2), monoclinic, C2/m, Z = 4, a = 14.874(4) ?, b = 7.271(2) ?, c = 6.758(2) ?, β = 112.005(4)°, V = 677.7(3) ?(3), R(F) = 0.0477 for I > 2σ(I).  相似文献

A new niobium(V) silicate, Rb(2)(Nb(2)O(4))(Si(2)O(6)).H(2)O, has been synthesized by a high-temperature, high-pressure hydrothermal method and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, and solid-state NMR spectroscopy. It crystallizes in the tetragonal space group P4(3)22 (No. 95) with a = 7.3431(2) A, c = 38.911(3) A, and Z = 8. Its structure contains tetrameric units of the composition Nb(4)O(18), which share corners to form a layer of niobium oxide. The Nb-O layer is a slice of the pyrochlore structure. Neighboring Nb-O layers are linked by vierer single-ring silicates generating eight-ring and six-ring channels running parallel to <100> directions, in which the Rb(+) cations and water molecules reside. The tantalum analogue was prepared and characterized by powder X-ray diffraction. Upon heating to 500 degrees C, Rb(2)(Nb(2)O(4))(Si(2)O(6)).H(2)O loses lattice water molecules, while the framework structure is retained to give the anhydrous compound Rb(2)(Nb(2)O(4))(Si(2)O(6)), whose structure was also characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The dehydrated sample absorbs water reversibly, as indicated by powder X-ray diffraction. Rb(2)(Nb(2)O(4))(Si(2)O(6)) crystallizes in the tetragonal space group I4(1) (No. 80) with a = 10.2395(6) A, c = 38.832(3) A, and Z = 16.  相似文献

A Np(V) compound containing three-center cation-cation interations, K(NpO(2))(3)(H(2)O)Cl(4), has been prepared by reacting Np(V) with KCl in molten boric acid. This compound forms a three-dimensional channel structure that is constructed from both two- and three-center cation-cation interactions. Three new bonding modes for cation-cation interactions are added to the summary of all known Np(V) compounds.  相似文献

Two potassium uranyl sulfate compounds were synthesized, and their crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. K(UO2)(SO4)(OH)(H2O) (KUS1) crystallizes in space group P21/c, a = 8.0521(4) A, b = 7.9354(4) A, c = 11.3177(6) A, beta = 107.6780(10) degrees , V = 689.01(6) A3, and Z = 4. K(UO2)(SO4)(OH) (KUS2) is orthorhombic Pbca, a = 8.4451(2) A, b = 10.8058(4) A, c = 13.5406(5)A, V = 1235.66(7)A3, and Z = 8. Both structures were refined on the basis of F2 for all unique data collected with Mo Kalpha radiation and a CCD-based detector to agreement indices R1 = 0.0251 and 0.0206 calculated for 2856 and 2616 reflections for KUS1 and KUS2, respectively. The structures contain vertex-sharing uranyl pentagonal bipyramids and sulfate tetrahedra linked into new chains and sheet topologies. Infrared spectroscopy provides additional information about the linkages between the sulfate and uranyl polyhedra, as well as the hydrogen bonding present in the structures. The U-O-S connectivity is examined in detail, and the local bond angle is impacted by the steric constraints of the crystal structure.  相似文献

A new uranium(V) silicate, K3(U3O6)(Si2O7), and the germanate analogue, Rb3(U3O6)(Ge2O7), have been synthesized under high-temperature, high-pressure hydrothermal conditions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Their structures contain uranate columns formed of triple octahedral chains of the alpha-UF5 type linked by disilicate (or digermanate) units to form a 3-D framework structure. The valence state of uranium is confirmed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray absorption spectroscopy, and magnetic susceptibility.  相似文献

We have searched for new species of small oxygen-containing gas-phase dianions produced in a secondary ion mass spectrometer by Cs+ ion bombardment of solid samples with simultaneous exposure of their surfaces to O2 gas. The targets were a pure zinc metal foil, a copper-contaminated zinc-based coin, two silicon-germanium samples (Si(1-x)Ge(x)(with x= 6.5% or 27%)) and a piece of titanium metal. The novel dianions Zn3O(4)(2-), Zn4O(5)(2-), CuZn2O(4)(2-), Si2GeO(6)(2-), Ti2O(5)(2-) and Ti3O(7)(2-) have been observed at half-integer m/z values in the negative ion mass spectra. The heptamer dianions Zn3O(4)(2-) and Ti2O(5)(2-) have been unambiguously identified by their isotopic abundances. Their flight times through the mass spectrometer are approximately 20 micros and approximately 17 micros, respectively. The geometrical structures of the two heptamer dianions Ti2O(5)(2-), and Zn3O(4)(2-) are investigated using ab initio methods, and the identified isomers are compared to those of the novel Ge2O(5)(2-) and the known Si2O(5)(2-) and Be3O(4)(2-) dianions.  相似文献

Infrared predissociation (IRPD) spectra of Li(+)(C(6)H(6))(1-4)(H(2)O)(1-2)Ar(0-1) and Na(+)(C(6)H(6))(2-4)(H(2)O)(1-2)Ar(1) are presented along with ab initio calculations. The results indicate that the global minimum energy structure for Li(+)(C(6)H(6))(2)(H(2)O)(2) has each water forming a π-hydrogen bond with the same benzene molecule. This bonding motif is preserved in Li(+)(C(6)H(6))(3-4)(H(2)O)(2)Ar(0-1) with the additional benzene ligands binding to the available free OH groups. Argon tagging allows high-energy Li(+)(C(6)H(6))(2-4)(H(2)O)(2)Ar isomers containing water-water hydrogen bonds to be trapped and detected. The monohydrated, Li(+) containing clusters contain benzene-water interactions with varying strength as indicated by shifts in OH stretching frequencies. The IRPD spectra of M(+)(C(6)H(6))(1-4)(H(2)O)(1-2)Ar are very different for lithium-bearing versus sodium-bearing cluster ions emphasizing the important role of ion size in determining the most favorable balance of competing noncovalent interactions.  相似文献

Green crystals of (NpO(2))(2)(SeO(4))(H(2)O)(4), (NpO(2))(2)(SeO(4))(H(2)O)(2), and (NpO(2))(2)(SeO(4))(H(2)O) have been prepared by hydrothermal methods. The structures of these compounds have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. (NpO(2))(2)(SeO(4))(H(2)O)(4), isostructural with (NpO(2))(2)(SO(4))(H(2)O)(4), is constructed from layers comprised of corner-sharing neptunyl(V) pentagonal bipyramids and selenate tetrahedra that are further linked by hydrogen bonding with water molecules. Each NpO(2)(+) cation binds to four other NpO(2)(+) units through cation-cation interactions (CCIs) to form a distorted "cationic square net" decorated by SeO(4)(2-) tetrahedra above and below the layer. Each selenate anion is bound to two neptunyl(V) cations through monodentate linkages. (NpO(2))(2)(SeO(4))(H(2)O)(2) is isostructural with the corresponding sulfate analogue as well. It consists of puckered layers of neptunyl(V) pentagonal bipyramids that are further connected by selenate tetrahedra to form a three-dimensional framework. The CCI pattern in the neptunyl layers of dihydrate is very similar to that of tetrahydrate; however, each SeO(4)(2-) tetrahedron is bound to four NpO(2)(+) cations in a mondentate manner. (NpO(2))(2)(SeO(4))(H(2)O) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, which differs from the (NpO(2))(2)(SO(4))(H(2)O) orthorhombic structure due to the slightly different connectivities between NpO(2)(+) cations and anionic ligands. The structure of (NpO(2))(2)(SeO(4))(H(2)O) adopts a three-dimensional network of distort neptunyl(V) pentagonal bipyramids decorated by selenate tetrahedra. Each NpO(2)(+) cation connects to four other NpO(2)(+) units through CCIs and also shares an equatorial coordinating oxygen atom with one of the other units in addition to the CC bond to form a dimer. Each SeO(4)(2-) tetrahedron is bound to five NpO(2)(+) cations in a monodentate manner. Magnetic measurements obtained from the powdered tetrahydrate are consistent with a ferromagnetic ordering of the neptunyl(V) spins at 8(1) K, with an average low temperature saturation moment of 1.98(8) μ(B) per Np. Well above the ordering temperature, the susceptibility follows Curie-Weiss behavior, with an average effective moment of 3.4(2) μ(B) per Np and a Weiss constant of 14(4) K. Correlations between lattice dimensionality and magnetic behavior are discussed.  相似文献

Synthetic methods for several novel phosphoramidate compounds containing the P(O)NHC(O) bifunctional group were developed. These compounds with the general formula R1C(O)NHP(O)(N(R2)(CH2C6H5))2, where R1 = CCl2H, p-ClC6H4, p-BrC6H4, o-FC6H4 and R2 = hydrogen, methyl, benzyl, were characterized by several spectroscopic methods and analytical techniques. The effects of phosphorus substituents on the rotation rate around the P–Namine bond were also investigated. 1H NMR study of the synthesized compounds demonstrated that the presence of bulky groups attached to the phosphorus center and electron withdrawing groups in the amide moiety lead to large chemical-shift non-equivalence (ΔδH) of diastereotopic methylene protons. The crystal structures of CCl2HC(O)NHP(O)(NCH3(CH2C6H5))2, p-ClC6H4C(O)NHP(O)(NCH3(CH2C6H5))2, CCl2HC(O)NHP(O)(N(CH2C6H5)2)2 and p-BrC6H4C(O)NHP(O)(N(CH2C6H5)2)2 were determined by X-ray crystallography using single crystals. The coordination around the phosphorus center in these compounds is best described as distorted tetrahedral and the P(O) and C(O) groups are anti with respect to each other. In the compound Br-C6H4C(O)NHP(O)(N(CH2C6H5)2)2 (with two independent molecules in the unit cell), two conformers are connected to each other via two different N–H?O hydrogen bonds forming a non-centrosymmetric dimer. In the crystalline lattice of other compounds, the molecules form centrosymmetric dimers via pairs of same N–H?O hydrogen bonds. The structure of CCl2HC(O)NHP(O)(N(CH2C6H5)2)2 reveals an unusual intramolecular interaction between the oxygen of CO group and amine nitrogen.  相似文献

The reaction of NpO(2) with SeO(2) in the presence of CsCl at 180 degrees C results in the formation of Np(NpO(2))(2)(SeO(3))(3) (1). The structure of 1 consists of three crystallographically unique Np centers with three different coordination environments in two different oxidation states. Np(1) is found in a neptunyl(V), O[double bond]Np[double bond]O(+), unit that is further ligated in the equatorial plane by three chelating SeO(3)(2-) anions to create a hexagonal bipyramidal NpO(8) unit. A second neptunyl(V) cation also occurs for Np(2); it is bound by four bridging selenite anions and by the oxo atom from the Np(1) neptunyl cation to form a pentagonal bipyramidal, NpO(7), unit. The third neptunium center, Np(3), which contains Np(IV), is found in a distorted NpO(8) dodecahedron. Np(3) is bound by five bridging selenite anions and by three neptunyl units via cation-cation interactions. The NpO(7) pentagonal bipyramids and NpO(8) hexagonal bipyramids share both corners and edges. Both of these polyhedra share corners via cation-cation interactions with the NpO(8) dodecahedra creating a three-dimensional structure with small channels that house the stereochemically active lone pair of electrons on the selenite anions. Magnetic susceptibility data follow Curie-Weiss behavior over the entire temperature range measured (5 < or = T < or = 320 K). The effective moment, mu(eff) = 2.28 mu(B), which represents an average over the three crystallographically inequivalent Np atoms, is within the expected range of values. There is no evidence of long-range ordering of the Np moments at temperatures down to 5 K, consistent with the negligible Weiss constant determined from fitting the susceptibility data. Crystallographic data: 1, orthorhombic, space group Pbca, a = 10.6216(5), b = 11.9695(6), and c = 17.8084(8) A and Z = 8 (T = 193 K).  相似文献

A new copper(H) complex [Cu2(DMF)(H2O)(C7H4NO4)2(C7H3NO4)]2-3.5DMF has been synthesized and its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal is of triclinic, space group P1^- with a = 10.722(3), b = 18.170(4), c = 20.923(7)A,α = 105.297(9), β = 101.701(10), γ = 105.74(1)°, V= 3615(1)A^3, Z = 2, C58.50H64.50Cu4N1l.50O3150, Mr = 1686.90, Dc = 1.550 g/cm^3,μ= 1.255 mm^-1, F(000) = 1728.00, T = 150(2) K, the final R = 0.0640 and wR = 0.173 for 11310 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ(I). In the crystal, each formular unit consists of two dinuclear copper(H) compounds, between which the O-H…O hydrogen bonds exist. Each Cu^Ⅱ cation is six-coordinated in an octahedral geometry. The intermolecular hydrogenbonding interaction leads to a 3-D framework of the title compound.  相似文献

The reaction of [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) (1) with [(CpRhCl(2))(2)] afforded a novel rhodium-molybdenum cluster, [{Mo(3)RhCpS(4)(H(2)O)(7)(O)}(2)](8+) (2). X-ray structure analysis of [2](pts)(8).14H(2)O (pts(-) = CH(3)C(6)H(4)SO(3)(-)) has revealed the existence of a new oxo-bridged twin cubane-type core, (Mo(3)RhCpS(4))(2)(O)(2). The high affinity of the CpRh group for sulfur atoms in 1 seems to be the main driving force for this reaction. The strong Lewis acidity of the CpRh group in intermediate A, [Mo(3)RhCpS(4)(H(2)O)(9)](6+), caused a release of proton from one of the water molecules attached to the molybdenum atoms to give intermediate B, [Mo(3)RhCpS(4)(H(2)O)(8)(OH)](5+). The elimination of two water molecules from two intermediate B molecules, followed by the deprotonation reaction of hydroxo bridges, generated the twin cubane-type cluster 2. The formal oxidation states of rhodium and molybdenum atoms are the same before and after the reaction (i.e., Mo(IV)(3), Rh(III)). The Mo-O-Mo moieties in [2](pts)(8).14H(2)O are nearly linear with a bond angle of 164.3(3) degrees, and the basicity of the bridging oxygen atoms seems to be weak. For this reason, protonation at the bridging oxygen atoms does not occur even in a strongly acidic aqueous solution. The binding energy values of Mo 3d(5/2), Rh 3d(5/2), and C 1s obtained from X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements for [2](pts)(8).14H(2)O are 229.8, 309.3, and 285 eV, respectively. The XPS measurements on the Rh 3d(5/2) binding energy indicate that the oxidation state of Rh is 3+. The binding energy of Mo 3d(5/2) (229.8 eV) compares with that observed for [1](pts)(4).7H(2)O (230.7 eV, Mo 3d(5/2)). A lower energy shift (0.9 eV) is observed in the binding energy of Mo 3d(5/2) for [2](pts)(8).14H(2)O. This energy shift may correspond to the coordination of an oxygen atom having a negative charge to the molybdenum atom.  相似文献

The first open-framework lanthanide carboxyphosphonate has been obtained under hydrothermal conditions. The three-dimensional structure of MIL-84(Pr) (MIL = Material Institut Lavoisier) or Pr(4)(H(2)O)(7)[O(2)C-C(5)H(10)N-CH(2)(-)PO(3)](4)(H(2)O)(5) has been solved from X-ray diffraction single-crystal data (a = 23.481(1) A, b = 10.159(1) A, c = 23.006(1) A, beta = 105.63(1) degrees, V = 5284.6(6) A(3), space group Cc (No. 9)). Its framework is built up from chains of edged-sharing eight or nine-coordinated monocapped square antiprism polyhedra and carboxyphosphonate anions, creating a three-dimensional structure with small pores filled with water molecules. The thermal behavior of MIL-84(Pr) has been investigated using TGA and X-ray thermodiffractometry and indicates that MIL-84(Pr) is stable up to 523 K with a reversible hydration-dehydration process. The optical study of its yttrium analogue doped at 3.4% with europium (MIL-84(Y,Eu)) reveals a significant red-orange emission under UV radiation.  相似文献
