Electrical wavelength switching of picosecond pulses was demonstrated in an actively mode-locked Er-doped fiber ring laser with fiber gratings by changing the electrical driving frequency of the modulator. Laser pulses switchable between two wavelengths spaced from 0.5 to 18 nm apart were achieved. The switching speed between the two wavelengths was of the order of several hundred kilohertz.  相似文献

报道了一种基于主振荡功率放大结构工作的全光纤化高重复频率窄脉冲宽度光纤激光器.种子源是一个直接电脉冲调制的1 063 nm光纤耦合输出半导体激光器.为了抑制放大器中产生的放大自发辐射光,将种子激光的脉冲波形调制为二阶超高斯型.峰值功率为950 mW的半导体激光器经过2级大模场掺镱双包层光纤放大器(纤芯分别为10μm和30μm)功率放大后,最终获得了平均功率为101 W、重复频率为200 kHz、脉冲宽度为14.77 ns、峰值功率为34.2 kW、3 dB光谱宽度为0.261 nm、光束质量M~2为1.17的脉冲激光输出.与传统的纳秒级脉冲光纤激光器相比,该激光器峰值功率高、光束质量优、光谱宽度窄、结构简单,可广泛应用于激光雷达、遥感探测、倍频和光参量震荡等领域.  相似文献

用两只光纤光栅(FBG)作波长选择器件,实现了一种能同时输出两个不同重复频率的光脉冲序列的双波长主动锁模环形腔光纤激光器。通过调速外加调制信号的频率,使其中一个波长工作在谐波锁模状态,另一个波长工作在有理数谐波锁模状态,实验在2GHz和2.5GHz的调制频率下都成功地获得了双波长且重复频率不同的光脉冲序列,脉冲宽度分别约为60ps和45ps。  相似文献

利用LD端面抽运声光调Q Nd∶YVO4激光器作为抽运源,采用线性腔实现了KTP腔内倍频高效绿光激光的输出.在调Q脉冲重复频率为40 kHz、1 064 nm输入光的功率为1 608 mW的条件下,获得了999 mW单横模(TEM00模)的绿光输出,相应的光-光转换效率为62.1%.绿光激光器输出光谱的半峰宽小于0.11 nm,其输出功率的不稳定度为±1.2%.  相似文献

以单脉冲能量更高的孤子激光器为种子源,通过主振荡放大技术,获得了2 μm波段的高功率、皮秒脉冲激光器.该种子源是一个被动锁模的光纤激光器,通过优化、管理激光器谐振腔内的色散,获得了脉冲宽度为50 ps、重复频率为55.6 MHz、谱宽约为21 nm的高能量孤子脉冲输出.利用单模光纤在2μm波段的负啁啾色散特性,在进行功率放大之前将作为种子源的激光脉冲宽度展宽至600 ps.最后,经过两级放大之后,获得平均功率约23 W、脉宽为660 ps的激光输出.利用光栅对,对放大后的激光脉冲进行压缩,经测试压缩后的脉冲宽度约为0.9 ps.  相似文献

By applying a small frequency detuning to the RF modulation frequency, pulse trains with repetition rates of integer multiples of the RF modulation frequency have been obtained in an actively mode-locking fiber ring laser. Optical pulse trains with repetition rates of 20 GHz, 30 GHz and 40 GHz were generated respectively here. Furthermore, an interesting phenomenon of generation of pulse train with repetition rate half the modulation frequency was observed.  相似文献

为了提高基于等离子体原子发射光谱元素分析技术的分析速度,在高重复频率的前提下建立了一套激光剥离-火花诱导击穿光谱元素分析系统并以铝合金为样品开展了光谱分析。实验以低脉冲能量的声光调Q固体激光脉冲剥离样品,并触发高压火花放电以增强等离子体辐射、提高光谱分析灵敏度。研究结果表明: 在高重频火花放电的作用下,等离子体辐射的峰值强度和弛豫时间分别得到了增强和延长,信号的时间积分强度增强因子可以达到1~2个数量级,且更易于实现时间分辨的信号检测。对铝合金中微量铬元素分析的检出限可达~132 ppm。该研究验证了高重频激光剥离-火花诱导击穿光谱用于分析固体样品元素的可行性,其技术有望在固体样品元素的快速分析中发挥一定的作用。该光谱技术能同时兼顾扫描成像的速度、空间分辨率和光谱分析灵敏度,并为固体样品的二维或者三维元素分布的高分辨快速扫描成像分析提供了一种很好的技术途径。  相似文献

We propose and demonstrate a Q-switched erbium-doped fiber laser(EDFL) using an erbium-doped zirconiaalumina silica glass-based fiber(Zr-EDF) as a saturable absorber. As a 16-cm-long Zr-EDF is incorporated into a ring EDFL cavity, a stable Q-switching pulse train operating at 1565 nm wavelength is successfully obtained.The repetition rate is tunable from 33.97 kHz to 71.23 kHz by increasing the pump power from the threshold of 26 mW to the maximum of 74 mW. The highest pulse energy of 26.67 nJ is obtained at the maximum pump power.  相似文献

在分析光纤环形镜工作原理的基础上,给出了基于光纤环形镜的线形腔掺Er3+光纤激光器相位和幅度的振荡条件.通过求解速率方程,理论分析了其输出特性,获得了稳态条件下激光器输出功率、阈值泵浦功率和斜率效率的解析表达式.推导出激光器工作所需掺Er3+光纤最短长度,并在给定泵浦光功率时,在特定输出波长上获得最大输出功率所需最佳掺Er3+光纤长度的表达式,且通过实验进行了验证.  相似文献

本文在多原子强耦合腔-QED系统中,利用脉冲宽度为5 ns的强脉冲光在垂直于腔轴方向直接激发原子,脉冲的峰值功率为40 mW,通过光学腔观测激发原子辐射到腔中的光子获得相应的激发光谱。我们发现当光场频率和原子跃迁失谐±80 MHz时原子激发率达到最大,而在共振时原子激发被抑制。我们建立了脉冲光与三能级原子相互作用的模型,通过缀饰态能够解释此现象。  相似文献

Abstract

In this article, an accurate model of multi-wavelength Brillouin fiber laser is developed by analytically solving cascade-stimulated Brillouin scattering equations in a linear cavity. The dependence of Stokes signal power on the incident pump power and the successive reflected transmitted powers is calculated. Furthermore, an analytical approach that can be used to predict the generated Stokes signals power is derived. Finally, this derived model is checked with experimental results that show significant agreement with the analytical solution of the model.  相似文献

A compact femtosecond Ti:sapphire ring oscillator composed of chirped mirrors is designed. By accurately optimizing the intra-cavity dispersion and the mode locking range of the ring configuration, we generate laser pulses as short as 7.7fs with a repetition rate as high as 745 MHz. The spectrum spans from 660nm to 94Ohm and the average output power is 480mW under the cw pump laser of 7.5 W.  相似文献

A new method of lasing of single picosecond pulses in a short-cavity dye laser with spatial separation of the lasing medium and the saturable absorber in the case of pumping by nanosecond pulses with energies much higher than the oscillation threshold has been developed and experimentally realized. The method is based on the use of a high-Q, external cavity tuned to the amplification wavelength of the saturable absorber. The first picosecond pulse is lased at a lasing-medium wavelength and the subsequent pulses are lased at a saturable-absorber amplification wavelength.  相似文献

An amplification scheme for ultrashort laser pulses of high radiation contrast was used to perform experiments on ablation pressure symmetrization using a prepulse upon acceleration of thin foils. It is shown that the spontaneous radiation of the regenerative amplifier restricts the energy contrast in the amplification of chirped pulses at a level of 10-4–10-3. The possibility of direct amplification of a short pulse with a view to increasing the energy contrast ratio was considered. Experiments were performed on the PICO laser facility to demonstrate that a 10-ps pulse amplification achieved an intensity 100 GW/cm2, a gain factor of 1.2, and an inversion dumping factor >30%.  相似文献

This paper reports on the development of a unique, high precision linear motor integrated air slide table for precise positioning and its application to laser beam writers for photo-mask pattern-making. The air slide table takes advantage of the balance between the air bearing’s levitating and magnetic forces. A brushless linear motor and a high resolution linear encoder are integrated into the table. The unique construction of the device results in a very compact package with excellent accuracy. The basic characteristics of the air slide table are evaluated. The device is applied to a laser beam writer, which must be capable of rendering minute and precise patterns for photo-masking equipment. Examples are given including optical devices such as wave guides and Fresnel zone plates which were fabricated and evaluated. Experimental data is given to show that the Fresnel zone plate fabricated here can be used to focus a laser beam to the theoretical limit, just like a standard refractive lens.  相似文献
