Let {Xt}t ≥ 0 be a Feller process with infinitesimal generator (A, D(A)). If the test functions are contained in D(A), —A |Cc (ℝn) is a pseudo–differential operator p(x, D) withsymbol p(x, ξ). We investigate local and global regularity properties of the sample paths tXt in terms of (weighted) Besov Bspq (ℝ, ρ) and Triebel–Lizorkin Fspq (ℝ, ρ) spaces. The parameters for these spaces are determined by certain indices that describe the asymptotic behaviour of the symbol p(x, ξ). Our results improve previous papers on Lévy [5, 9] and Feller processes [22].  相似文献

We consider the Euler scheme for stochastic differential equations with jumps, whose intensity might be infinite and the jump structure may depend on the position. This general type of SDE is explicitly given for Feller processes and a general convergence condition is presented.

In particular, the characteristic functions of the increments of the Euler scheme are calculated in terms of the symbol of the Feller process in a closed form. These increments are increments of Lévy processes and, thus, the Euler scheme can be used for simulation by applying standard techniques from Lévy processes.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the functional analytic approach to the problem of the existence of Markov processes in probability theory. More precisely, we construct Feller semigroups with Dirichlet conditions for second-order, uniformly elliptic integro-differential operators with discontinuous coefficients. In other words, we prove that there exists a Feller semigroup corresponding to such a diffusion phenomenon that a Markovian particle moves both by jumps and continuously in the state space until it dies at the time when it reaches the boundary.  相似文献

We consider a stochastic delay differential equation driven by a general Lévy process. Both the drift and the noise term may depend on the past, but only the drift term is assumed to be linear. We show that the segment process is eventually Feller, but in general not eventually strong Feller on the Skorokhod space. The existence of an invariant measure is shown by proving tightness of the segments using semimartingale characteristics and the Krylov–Bogoliubov method. A counterexample shows that the stationary solution in completely general situations may not be unique, but in more specific cases uniqueness is established.  相似文献

We consider the exploration process associated to the continuous random tree (CRT) built using a Lévy process with no negative jumps. This process has been studied by Duquesne, Le Gall and Le Jan. This measure-valued Markov process is a useful tool to study CRT as well as super-Brownian motion with general branching mechanism. In this paper we prove this process is Feller, and we compute its infinitesimal generator on exponential functionals and give the corresponding martingale. This paper is devoted to the functional analytic approach to the problem of existence of Markov processes with Dirichlet boundary condition, oblique derivative boundary condition and first-order Wentzell boundary condition for second-order, uniformly elliptic differential operators with discontinuous coefficients. More precisely, we construct Feller semigroups associated with absorption, reflection, drift and sticking phenomena at the boundary. The approach here is distinguished by the extensive use of the ideas and techniques characteristic of the recent developments in the Calderon- Zygmund theory of singular integral operators with non-smooth kernels.  相似文献

Chernoff approximations of Feller semigroups and the associated diffusion processes in Riemannian manifolds are studied. The manifolds are assumed to be of bounded geometry, thus including all compact manifolds and also a wide range of non-compact manifolds. Sufficient conditions are established for a class of second order elliptic operators to generate a Feller semigroup on a (generally non-compact) manifold of bounded geometry. A construction of Chernoff approximations is presented for these Feller semigroups in terms of shift operators. This provides approximations of solutions to initial value problems for parabolic equations with variable coefficients on the manifold. It also yields weak convergence of a sequence of random walks on the manifolds to the diffusion processes associated with the elliptic generator. For parallelizable manifolds this result is applied in particular to the representation of Brownian motion on the manifolds as limits of the corresponding random walks.  相似文献

We consider a class of Feller semigroups on Lie groups which fail to commute with left translation due to the existence of a cocycle h which is identically one for Lévy processes. Under certain conditions, we are able to show that the infinitesimal generator of such a semigroup has the Lévy–Khintchine–Hunt form but with variable characteristics, thus we obtain an extension of classical work in Euclidean space by Courrège.  相似文献

We study the class of functions called monodiffric of the second kind by Isaac.They are discrete analogues of holomorphic functions of one or two complex variables.Discrete analogues of the Cauchy-Riemann operator,of domains of holomorphy in one discrete variable,and of the Hartogs phenomenon in two discrete variables are investigated.Two fundamental solutions to the discrete Cauchy-Riemann equation are studied:one with support in a quadrant,the other with decay at infinity.The first is easy to construct by induction;the second is accessed via its Fourier transform.  相似文献

The collection of suchF is known as the Feller class, a large class of distributions which includes all domains of attraction (in particular the stable laws). Pruitt(13) showed that asymptotic normality always holds for the trimmed sums ifF is in the Feller class and ifF is symmetric. Here, for anyF in the Feller class, we obtain complete results including the form of the possible limit laws and their convergence criteria, thus generalizing Pruitt's result to the asymmetric setting.This paper forms a portion of the author's Ph.D. dissertation under the supervision of Daniel C.
