At nonrelativistic energy region, by using Skyrme interaction, nucleon-nucleon collision cross sections in medium and their relations with densities and energies have been studied. It is found that under PauLi correction, nucleon-nucleon collision cross section in medium is larger than free nucieon-nucleon collision cross section.  相似文献

We study the head-on collision of two solitary waves in a precompressed granular chain using the discrete element method.Our study takes the Toda chain solution as the initial condition for the simulations.The simulation covers the dynamical evolution of the collision process from the start of the incident wave to the end of the collision.The interaction has a central collision region of about five-grain width in which two solitary waves merge completely and share only one peak.Four stages,i.e.,the pre-in-phase traveling stage,lag-phase collision state,lead-phase collision state,and post-in-phase traveling stage,are identified to describe the complex collision processes.Our results may be helpful for explaining the existence of long-lived solitary waves seen in the simulations by Takato and Sen [Europhys.Lett.100(2012) 24003].  相似文献

Nonlinear structures of lower hybrid wave in collision plasmas are studied using the two-fluid theory.The oscillatory shock wave is observed due to the effects of the electron-neutral collision and the density inhomogeneity.In the cold electron limit,the oscillatory shock wave becomes the ordinary shock wave.In the collisionless limit,the dominated equation becomes Kd V equation and the lower hybrid solitons arise.The amplitude of the nonlinear structure is depressed by the plasma inhomogeneity,but is hardly affected by the electron-neutral collision.  相似文献

This paper develops an inelastic collision operator for the Kinetic Code for Plasma Periphery (KIPP) code to investigate the kinetic effects of electron cooling due to inelastic collisions. It is fully tested based on the self‐consistent KIPP‐SOLPS coupling algorithm by being compared to the ADAS database. The collisional radiative rate coefficients from the ADAS database for deuterium atomic physics can be recovered using the inelastic collision operator with assuming Maxwellian electrons, which shows that the inelastic collision operator works well for various plasma conditions. Across a wide range of plasma conditions in the scrape‐off layer, KIPP‐SOLPS coupling simulation results with the implementation of an inelastic collision operator are not significantly different from results using a simpler uniform cooling scheme. The uniform scheme is thus recommended rather than including computationally intensive inelastic collision physics.  相似文献

The disappearance of collective flow effects in heavy ion collisions is investigated using a microscopic optical model formalism for estimating collision momentum transfers. Phenomenological expressions for the balance energy are obtained which agree very well with measurements for various experimental collision pairs and with results obtained from Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck simulations.  相似文献

利用二维粒子模拟方法研究振荡鞘层对近壁电导的影响.研究结果表明,当二次电子发射系数大于1时,鞘层处于振荡状态.在振荡鞘层状态下,电子与壁面的碰撞通量沿平行与壁面方向剧烈的周期性振荡,振荡的波长为电子静电波波长量级,电子与壁面的碰撞频率高出经典鞘层状态下电子与壁面碰撞频率1—2个数量级,此时的碰撞频率对通道中电流的贡献不可忽略.振荡鞘层相对与经典鞘层增大了电子与壁面的碰撞频率,但是振荡鞘层的存在,仍然会使一部分慢电子无法穿越鞘层的势垒而打到壁面. 关键词: 霍尔推进器 振荡鞘层 二次电子  相似文献

Under Lagrange coordinates, the relativistic spherical plasma wave in a collisional and warm plasma is discussed theoretically. Within the Lagrange coordinates and using the Maxwell and hydrodynamics equations, a wave equation describing the relativistic spherical wave is derived. The damped oscillating spherical wave solution is obtained analytically using the perturbation theory. Because of the coupled effects of spherical geometry,thermal pressure, and collision effect, the electron damps the periodic oscillation. The oscillation frequency and the damping rate of the wave are related to not only the collision and thermal pressure effect but also the space coordinate. Near the center of the sphere, the thermal pressure significantly reduces the oscillation period and the damping rate of the wave, while the collision effect can strongly influence the damping rate. Far away from the spherical center, only the collision effect can reduce the oscillation period of the wave, while the collision effect and thermal pressure have weak influence on the damping rate.  相似文献

利用二维粒子模拟方法研究Hall推力器内电子与壁面的碰撞频率.研究发现,饱和鞘层状态下的电子与壁面的碰撞频率较经典鞘层下大大增加,甚至高出经典鞘层状态下电子与壁面碰撞频率两个数量级,这样饱和鞘层状态下电子与壁面的碰撞频率对近壁电流的贡献将不容忽略.进一步分析造成饱和鞘层状态下电子与壁面碰撞频率增加的原因后认为,饱和鞘层状态下电子与壁面碰撞频率的增加是鞘层电势降过低和壁面发射的二次电子回流造成的. 关键词: 饱和 鞘层 碰撞 频率  相似文献

It is shown that the three-particle kinetic operator for inhomogeneous gases obtained using Prigogine's method and the matrix representation of the Liouville equation introduced by Balescu is equivalent to the corresponding expression derived by Choh and Uhlenbeck using Bogolubov's method. Both theories take into account the space and time delocalization associated with finite collision time, and the resulting corrections to the asymptotic collision operator are equivalent.  相似文献

In order to trace azimuthal angle dependence of the initial interaction in ultra-relativistic heavy ion collision,two azimuthal multiplicity-correlation patterns - neighboring and fixed-to-arbitrary angularbin correlation patterns - are suggested.From the simulation of Au + Au collisions at √SNN = 200 GeV by using the Monte Carlo models RQMD with hadron re-scattering and AMPT with and without string melting,we observe that the correlation patterns change gradually from out-of-plane preferential one to inplane preferential one when the centrality of collision shifts from the central collision to peripheral collision,meanwhile the anisotropic collective flow v2 keeps positive in all cases.This regularity is found to be collision energy independent.The physics behind the two opposite trends of correlation patterns,in particular,the presence of out-of-plane correlation patterns at RHIC energy,are discussed.  相似文献

The geometric structure of collision cascades developed in solids by energetic ion bombardment is investigated from the view-point of fractal geometry using computer simulated trajectories and defect distributions. The fractal dimension of a collision cascade, as extracted from defect distributions, depends on the effective interaction potential governing the sequence of events in a subcascade, as shown in recent analytical predictions. The head-on collision of ion acoustic solitary waves are studied in an electron-positron-ion plasma composed of superthermal electrons, superthermal positrons, and cold ions using the extended Poincaré-Lighthill-Kuo (PLK) method. The effects of the ratio of electron to positron temperature, the spectral index of electron and positron, and the concentration of positron component on the phase shift are studied. It is found that the presence of superthermal electrons and superthermal positrons play a significant role on the collision of ion acoustic solitary waves. It is also been observed that the temperature ratio plays a significant role on the collision of ion acoustic solitary waves.  相似文献

We derive a differential equation that is regular at the collision of two equal-mass bodies with attractive interaction in the relativistic action-at-a-distance electrodynamics. We use the energy constant related to the Poincare invariance of the theory to define finite variables with finite derivatives at the collision. The collision orbits are calculated numerically using the regular equation adapted in a self-consistent minimization method (a stable numerical method that chooses only nonrunaway solutions). This dynamical system appeared 100 years ago as an example of covariant time-symmetric two-body dynamics and acquired the status of electrodynamics in the 1940s by the works of Dirac, Wheeler, and Feynman. We outline the method with an emphasis on the physics of this complex conservative dynamical system.  相似文献

This article elaborates upon our previous work in which some general properties of the matrix elements and kernels of the gain and loss terms of the collision integral were found. The object of study is the loss term of the collision integral, since related analytical expressions are simple. Formulas to calculate the matrix elements are derived. In this paper, we construct the bright-soliton bound states of an integrable (2 + 1)-dimensional multicomponent long wave-short wave resonance interaction (LSRI) system by using the exact bright-soliton solutions obtained in Ref. [24] and analyze their interesting collision dynamics. We show that the beating and breathing oscillations of the bound solitons can be controlled by tuning the polarization parameters. Also, we explore the interaction between the bound-soliton and a standard soliton. We also point out that the two bound-soliton state seems to be robust against collision with a standard soliton and remain to be bounded even after collision.  相似文献

This paper investigates the collision between two nonlinear waves with arbitrary angle in two-dimensional nonlinear lattice. By using the extended Poincarge-Lighthill-Kuo perturbation method, it obtains two Korteweg-de Vries equations for nonlinear waves in both the ζ and η directions, respectively, and derives the analytical phase shifts after the collision of two nonlinear waves. A technique to calculate the burnup of materials of cells and fuel assemblies using the matrices of first-flight neutron collision probabilities rebuilt at a given burnup step is presented. A method to rebuild and correct first collision probability matrices using average chords prior to the first neutron collision, which are calculated with the help of geometric modules of constructed stochastic neutron trajectories, is described. Results of calculation of the infinite multiplication factor for elementary cells with a modified material composition compared to the reference one as well as calculation of material burnup in the cells and fuel assemblies of a VVER-1000 are presented.  相似文献

We investigate the collision of two vortex lines moving with viscous dynamics and driven towards each other by an applied current. Using London theory in the approach phase we observe a nontrivial vortex conformation producing antiparallel segments; their attractive interaction triggers a violent collision. The collision region is analyzed using the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau equation. While we find that vortices will always recombine through the exchange of segments, a crossing channel appears naturally through a double collision process.  相似文献
