Using a combination of multi-frequency EPR and NMR spectroscopy and quantum-chemical calculations at the level of Density Functional Theory (DFT), the organization of self-doped PPV oligomers in their solid state is investigated. The analysis of the different spectra shows that the electrochemical procedure used to self-dope these materials produces positive radicals (polarons) in an almost quantitative way, but still magnetically isolated polarons are observed. The difference between chemical and electrochemical oxidation of the oligomers is studied in detail. Furthermore, ageing of the electrochemically oxidized oligomers may be accompanied by a stacking of the oligomers. 相似文献

A series of linear monodisperse vinylene-linked phenothiazine oligomers have been synthesized by alternate Heck reaction and Wittig reaction in good yields. It was found that their absorption and fluorescence emission bands red-shifted with increasing phenothiazine units due to extending of the conjugated degree. The fluorescent quantum yield increased from OPTZ1 to OPTZ6, and the ΦF of OPTZ6 was close to phenothiazine-based polymers. 相似文献

The reaction of triphenylbismuth [BiPh(3)] with several heterocyclic carboxylic acids was explored. Seven crystalline compounds, [PhBi(2-O(2)C-3-(OH)C(5)H(3)N)(2)(2-O(2)C-3-(OH)C(5)H(3)NH)] (5), [(Bi(2-O(2)C-3-(OH)C(5)H(3)N)(4))(C(5)H(5)NH)(C(5)H(5)N)] (7), [PhBi(2-O(2)C-C(4)H(3)N(2))(2)(2-O(2)C-C(4)H(4)N(2))·H(2)O] (8), [PhBi(2-O(2)C-C(9)H(6)N)(2)·H(2)O] (9), [Ph(2)Bi(O(2)C-C(4)H(3)O)] (10), [Ph(2)Bi(O(2)C-C(4)H(3)S)] (11) and [PhBi(O(2)C-C(4)H(3)S)(2)](2) (12), were prepared by simple reactions using BiPh(3) and the corresponding acids, 3-hydroxypicolinic acid, pyrazine-2-carboxylic acid, quinoline-2-carboxylic (quinaldic) acid, furan-2-carboxylic acid and thiophene-2-carboxylic acid. Compound 5 primarily exhibits a coordination number of six with pentagonal pyramidal geometry at bismuth, but an additional weak Bi···O interaction in the direction of the lone pair of electrons is present. This feature leads to a weakly bound dimer. The use of pyridine as the solvent in a similar reaction, however, led to 7, in which all of the Bi-Ph bonds are cleaved. In this compound, bismuth exhibits a coordination number of eight and distorted dodecahedral geometry. In compound 8, the geometry around bismuth is primarily a pentagonal pyramid, however, clear-cut but weak secondary Bi···N interactions leading to a dimeric formulation are discernible in the structure. The quinaldate compound 9 exhibits a lower formal coordination number of five for bismuth, with square pyramidal geometry, but again two secondary Bi···O interactions for each bismuth in the direction of the lone pair lead to a dimer. A similar secondary Bi···O interaction involving furan oxygen is present in the furoate compound 10, which is a polymeric chain (one dimensional coordination polymer). Although the thiophene carboxylate 11 is also a polymeric chain, no Bi···S interactions are present. Unlike the previously reported tetrameric biscarboxylate [PhBi(2-O(2)C-C(5)H(3)N)(2)](4), the thiophene carboxylate [PhBi(O(2)C-C(4)H(3)S)(2)](2) (12) is a dimer considering only primary interactions. However, these dimers are arranged in such a way that there are secondary Bi···S interactions in the structure in the expected direction of the lone pair of electrons on bismuth. Thus, these studies suggest that the stereochemical activity (or inactivity) of the bismuth lone pair of electrons need to be judged more cautiously. TGA studies are consistent with the presence of Bi-Ph groups in all of the compounds, except 7, as indicated by their formulae. 相似文献

As part of a programme to prepare and evaluate a series of perfluoro- chemicals for use as inert fluids, the fluorinations of some tetrafluoroethylene oligomers over cobalt (III) fluoride have been studied.Fluorination of perfluoro-3,4-dimethylhex-3-ene (tetramer) and perfluoro-4-ethyl-3,4-dimethylhex-2-ene (pentamer) over CoF3 at 230°C and l45°C respectively afforded the corresponding saturated fluorocarbons however, at 250°C, pentamer gave predominantly the saturated tetramer. The thermal behaviour of these saturated fluorocarbons alone and in the presence of bromine and toluene has been studied.Pyrolysis of pentamer over glass beads at 500°C gave perfluoro-1,2,3- trimethylcyclobutene and isomers of perfluoro-2,3-dimethylpenta-1,3- diene. Under similar conditions perfluoro-2-(1-ethyl-1-methylpropyl). 3-methylpent-1-ene (hexamer) gave perfluoro-1-methyl-2-(1-methyl- propyl)-cyclobut-1-ene and perfluoro-2-methyl-3-(1-methylpropyl)-buta- 1,3-diene.These reactions and the structural elucidation of the products will be discussed. 相似文献

A highly efficient and regioselective Pd-catalyzed method for the oxidative coupling of arylpyridine derivatives is reported. Remarkably, the reactions proceed at room temperature and are compatible with diverse functionalities, including aryl halides and thiophenes. Mechanistic studies suggest that these transformations proceed via a previously unprecedented mechanism involving two different pyridine-directed C-H activation reactions-one at a PdII center and one at PdIV. 相似文献

This critical review examines transition metal-catalyzed decarboxylative couplings that have emerged within recent years as a powerful strategy to form carbon-carbon or carbon-heteroatom bonds starting from carboxylic acids. In these reactions, C-C bonds to carboxylate groups are cleaved, and in their place, new carbon-carbon bonds are formed. Decarboxylative cross-couplings constitute advantageous alternatives to traditional cross-coupling or addition reactions involving preformed organometallic reagents. Decarboxylative reaction variants are also known for Heck reactions, direct arylation processes, and carbon-heteroatom bond forming reactions. 相似文献

Under photoirradiation conditions using a xenon light, and in the presence of PdCl(2)(PPh(3))(2) as a catalyst, four-component coupling reactions comprising of α-substituted iodoalkanes, alkenes, carbon monoxide, and alcohols proceeded smoothly to give functionalized esters in good yields. When alkenyl alcohols were used as acceptor alkenes, three-component coupling reactions accompanied by intramolecular esterification proceeded to give lactones in good yields. Beta-amino-meso-tetraarylporphyrins react with cyclic enol ethers to yield pyrido[2,3-b]porphyrins bearing two vicinal hydroxyalkyl groups. These reactions are catalyzed by lanthanum triflate and occur under mild conditions. Esterification of the hydroxyalkyl groups with succinic anhydride and dodecanoyl chloride afforded the corresponding esters in almost quantitative yields. The crystal structure of the most hydrophobic derivative 7 was determined, and it shows that these porphyrinic macrocycles form one-dimensional supramolecular tapes in the solid state. 相似文献

Two one-pot multicomponent synthetic methods for highly substituted indenes are described. The intermolecular coupling of aromatic ketones with alkynes on low-valent zirconocene species generates oxazirconacyclopentenes, which upon hydrolysis with 20% HCl for 3 h afforded indene derivatives in good to excellent yields. Similarly, the pair-selective coupling of two identical or different alkynes bearing at least one aromatic substituent formed zirconacyclopentadienes. Quenching of the reaction mixture with concentrated H(2)SO(4) also results in the formation of highly substituted indenes in high yields. 相似文献

Condensation between aldehydes and the secondary amino function of 5-(aminoalkyl)furan-2(5H)-ones, obtained by the silyloxyfuran dienolate addition to imine-type derivatives, produces either aminoalkylbenzotriazoles or 1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyridines. The former can be reduced with SmI2 to generate alpha-aminoalkyl radicals that are trapped by the alpha,beta-unsaturated lactone moiety yielding substituted pyrrolidines diastereoselectively, while catalytic hydrogenation of the latter affords isomeric piperidine analogues. Alternatively, SmI2-promoted reduction of tetrahydropyridines in the presence of acid also leads to intermediate alpha-aminoalkyl radicals that participate in inter- or intramolecular olefin addition reactions. Further manipulation of the lactone functionality in various ways gives access to a number of interesting derivatives based upon either a pyrrolidine or a piperidine structural motif. As a result, a high degree of structural diversity is obtained in a few steps starting from a common set of simple materials. 相似文献
