The problem of nonlinear wave dynamics of a fluid-saturated porous medium is investigated. The mathematical model proposed is based on the classical Frenkel--Biot--Nikolaevskiy theory concerning elastic wave propagation and includes mass, momentum, energy conservation laws, as well as rheological and thermodynamic relations. The model describes nonlinear, dispersive, and dissipative medium. To solve the system of differential equations, an asymptotic modified two-scales method is developed and a Cauchy problem for initial equations system is transformed to a Cauchy problem for nonlinear generalized Korteweg--de Vries--Burgers equation for modulated quick wave amplitudes and an inhomogeneous set of equations for slow background motion. Stationary solutions of the derived evolutionary equation that have been constructed numerically reflect different regimes of elastic wave attenuation: diffusive, oscillating, and soliton-like.  相似文献

A boundary value problem (BVP) of the plane elasticity posed in terms of the orientations of forces and displacements is considered. The main aim of the present paper is to investigate the solvability of BVPs of this kind. Firstly, analysis of two cases is performed: the case of a circle with special orientations of force and displacement vectors on the circumference and the case of an arbitrary contour with coaxial orientations of these vectors. The solutions obtained indicate that the problem can have a certain number of solutions or be unsolvable. Then the BVP is reduced to a boundary integral equation and its solvability is investigated for the general case of a smooth simple-connected closed contour. As a result, the number of linearly independent solutions is determined. This number only depends upon the angle between the force and displacement vectors. A linear complementarity formulation for dynamic multi-rigid-body contact problems with Coulomb friction is presented. The formulation, based on explicit Euler integration and polygonal approximation of the friction cone, is guaranteed to have a solution for any number of contacts and contact configuration. A model with the same property, based on the Poisson hypothesis, is formulated for impact problems with friction and nonzero restitution coefficients. An explicit Euler scheme based on these formulations is presented and is proved to have uniformly bounded velocities as the stepsize tends to zero for the Newton–Euler formulation in body co-ordinates.  相似文献

A static, purely flexural mechanical analysis is presented for a Kirchhoff solid circular plate, deflected by a transverse central force, and bilaterally supported along two antipodal periphery arcs, the remaining part of the boundary being free. Two kinds of contact reactions are considered, namely the case of distributed reaction force alone, and the situation in which the distributed force is added to a distributed couple of properly selected profile. For both cases this plate problem is formulated in terms of an integral equation of the Prandtl type, coupled with two constraint conditions. The existence of solutions in an appropriate scaled weighted Sobolev space is discussed, and the behaviour of the solution at the endpoints of the support is exhibited. A review of adjoint equation-based methodologies for viscous,incompressible flow control and optimization problems is given and illustrated by a drag minimization example. A number of approaches to ameliorating the high storage and CPU costs associated with straightforward implementations of adjoint equation based methodologies are discussed. Other issues, including the relative merits of the differentiate-then-discretize and discretize-then-differentiate approaches to deriving discrete adjoint equations, the incorporation of side constraints into adjoint equation-based methodologies, and inaccuracies that occur due to differentiations at the boundary, are also discussed. In the present paper we consider interior and exterior mixed boundary value problems of anti-plane shear in the static theory of linear piezoelectricity. Using the boundary integral equation method we reduce the problems to systems of singular integral equations with discontinuous coefficients to which the classical Nöether’s theorems on existence of the solution can be applied. This allows us to establish well-posedness results and to obtain integral solutions of the corresponding mixed boundary value problems for a rather general class of piezoelectric materials. 本文阐明由三维薄弹性体的渐近分析导出各级精度板壳理论的基本方法。将多尺度分析用于板的内部区域和边界层区域导出应力,应变和位移等物理量的不同的无量纲小厚度参数ε的渐近展开式。与工程的方法不同,推导仅基于ε→0的渐近分析,对板的变形不做任何假定。给出正交异性板的平面应变渐近展开的具体列式,仅有一些常数待定。结果表明,内域解渐近级数的首项正是熟知的Kirchhoff板理论解。本文为内域解和边界层解的渐近匹配,从而正确表述圣维南原理并用以建立各级渐近解的边界条件进而求解的研究做好了准备。  相似文献

Reliable analysis of the local stress fields in the vicinity of sliding frictional contacts of engineering components is a pre-requisite for the reliable assessment of structural integrity. In this paper we present the use of Muskhelishvili potentials to derive an analytical solution for a semi-infinite punch with a rounded edge pressed against a half-pane substrate, and a general numerical solution for a kind of Cauchy integral involved in the analytical contact solution. Using these solutions, the effect of the friction coefficient on the normal traction distribution is investigated. Numerical results show that the peak normal traction value is altered in comparison with the frictionless case solution, but this variation is mild (less than 5%), provided the friction coefficient does not exceed about 0.6. Finally, the adaptation of the analytical result to the solution of practical contact problems is addressed.  相似文献

The universal practices have been centralizing on the research of regulariza-tion to the direct boundary integal equations (DBIEs). The character is elimination of singularities by using the simple solutions. However, up to now the research of regular ization to the first kind integral equations for plane potential problems has never been found in previous literatures. The presentation is mainly devoted to the research on the regularization of the singular boundary integral equations with indirect unknowns. A novel view and idea is presented herein, in which the regularized boundary integral equations with indirect unknowns without including the Cauchy principal value (CPV) and Hadamard-finite-part (HFP) integrals are established for the plane potential problems. With some numerical results, it is shown that the better accuracy and higher efficiency, especially on the boundary, can be achieved by the present system.  相似文献

Elastic contact problems involving Euler–Bernoulli beams or Kirchhoff plates generally involve concentrated contact forces. Linear elasticity (e.g. finite element) solutions of the same problems show that finite contact regions are actually developed, but these regions have dimensions that are typically of the order of the beam thickness. Thus if beam theory is appropriate for a given structural problem, the local elasticity fields can be explored by asymptotic methods and will have fairly general (problem independent) characteristics. Here we show that the extent of the contact region is a fixed ratio of the beam thickness which is independent of the concentrated load predicted by the beam theory, and that the distribution of contact pressure in this region has a universal form, which is well approximated by a simple algebraic expression.  相似文献

In this paper we consider mathematical models describing dynamic viscoelastic contact problems with the Kelvin–Voigt constitutive law and subdifferential boundary conditions. We treat evolution hemivariational inequalities which are weak formulations of contact problems. We establish the existence of solutions to hemivariational inequalities with different types of non-monotone multivalued boundary relations. These results are consequences of an existence theorem for second order evolution inclusions. In a particular case we deliver sufficient conditions under which the solution to a hemivariational inequality is unique. In this paper we prove nonlinear stability results for the numerical approximation of relative equilibria of equivariant parabolic partial differential equations in one space dimension. Relative equilibria are solutions which are equilibria in an appropriately comoving frame and occur frequently in systems with underlying symmetry. By transforming the PDE into a corresponding PDAE via a freezing ansatz [2] the relative equilibrium can be analyzed as a stationary solution of the PDAE. The main result is the fact that nonlinear stability properties are inherited by the numerical approximation with finite differences on a finite equidistant grid with appropriate boundary conditions. This is a generalization of the results in [14] and is illustrated by numerical computations for the quintic complex Ginzburg Landau equation.   相似文献
