In the present paper, we are concerned with the link between the Kadomtsev–Petviashvili–Toda (KP–Toda) hierarchy and the massive Thirring (MT) model. First, we bilinearize the MT model under both the vanishing and nonvanishing boundary conditions. Starting from a set of bilinear equations of two-component KP–Toda hierarchy, we derive multibright solution to the MT model. Then, considering a set of bilinear equations of the single-component KP–Toda hierarchy, multidark soliton and multibreather solutions to the MT model are constructed by imposing constraints on the parameters in two types of tau function, respectively. The dynamics and properties of one- and two-soliton for bright, dark soliton and breather solutions are analyzed in details.  相似文献

In this work, a variety of distinct kinds of multiple soliton solutions is derived for a ( 3 + 1)‐dimensional nonlinear evolution equation. The simplified form of the Hirota's method is used to derive this set of distinct kinds of multiple soliton solutions. The coefficients of the spatial variables play a major role in the existence of this variety of multiple soliton solutions for the same equation. The resonance phenomenon is investigated as well. The aim of the paper is to construct nonlocal reverse-space nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) hierarchies through nonlocal group reductions of eigenvalue problems and generate their inverse scattering transforms and soliton solutions. The inverse scattering problems are formulated by Riemann-Hilbert problems which determine generalized matrix Jost eigenfunctions. The Sokhotski-Plemelj formula is used to transform the Riemann-Hilbert problems into Gelfand-Levitan-Marchenko type integral equations. A solution formulation to special Riemann-Hilbert problems with the identity jump matrix, corresponding to the reflectionless transforms, is presented and applied to -soliton solutions of the nonlocal NLS hierarchies.  相似文献

In this work, the completely integrable sixth-order nonlinear Ramani equation and a coupled Ramani equation are studied. Multiple soliton solutions and multiple singular soliton solutions are formally derived for these two equations. The Hirota’s bilinear method is used to determine the two distinct structures of solutions. The resonance relations for the three cases are investigated.  相似文献

With the generalized bilinear operators based on a prime number p=3, a Hirota-Satsuma-like equation is proposed. Rational solutions are generated and graphically described by using symbolic computation software Maple.  相似文献

This paper proposes a new extended (3 + 1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation that portrays a unique dispersion effect about x,z $$ x,z $$. Its integrability is confirmed via the WTC-Kruskal algorithm in Painlevé sense. N $$ N $$-soliton, breather, and O $$ O $$-type solitary wave are derived systematically at first. Then, the mixed solution composed of soliton and breather is obtained. In addition, the “long wave” limit is employed to construct rational and semi-rational solution. The rational solution can be classified as rogue wave, T $$ T $$-type solitary wave, and lump wave. The semi-rational solution has the form a hybrid of two solitons, a hybrid of rogue wave and soliton, a hybrid of lump and soliton(s), and a hybrid of lump and breather. The results may help simulate complex waves and their interactions in fluid.  相似文献

In this work, a (3 + 1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation is investigated. The Hirota’s bilinear method is applied to determine the necessary conditions for the complete integrability of this equation. Multiple soliton solutions are established to confirm the compatibility structure. Multiple singular soliton solutions are also derived. The resonance phenomenon does not exist for this model.  相似文献

IntroductionDuring the study of water wave, many completely iategrable models were derived, such as(1+1)-dimensional KdV equation, MKdV equation, (2+1)-dimensional KdV equation, Boussinesq equation and WBK equations etc. Many properties of these models had been researched, such as BAcklund transformation (BT), converse rules, N-soliton solutions and Painleve property etc.II--8]. In this paper, we would like to consider (2+1)-dimensional variable coefficientgeneralized KP equation which …  相似文献

We establish a two‐wave mode equation for the integrable Kadomtsev–Petviashvili equation, which describes the propagation of two different wave modes in the same direction simultaneously. We determine the necessary conditions that make multiple soliton solutions exist for this new equation. The simplified Hirota's method will be used to conduct this work. We also use other techniques to obtain other set of periodic and singular solutions for the two‐mode Kadomtsev‐Petviashvili equation. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

With the aid of computer symbolic computation system such as Maple, the extended hyperbolic function method and the Hirota’s bilinear formalism combined with the simplified Hereman form are applied to determine the soliton solutions for the general fifth-order KdV equation. Several new soliton solutions can be obtained if we taking parameters properly in these solutions. The employed methods are straightforward and concise, and they can also be applied to other nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics. The article is published in the original.  相似文献

The repeated homogeneous balance is used to construct a new exact traveling wave solution of the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili (KP) like equation coupled to a Schrödinger equation, in which the homogeneous balance method is applied to solve the Riccati equation and the reduced nonlinear ordinary differential equation, respectively. Many new exact traveling wave solutions are successfully obtained, which contain rational and periodic-like solutions. This method is straightforward and concise, and it can be applied to other nonlinear evolution equations.  相似文献

In this work, we study a completely integrable dissipative equation. The Burgers equation is extended by using the sense of the Kadomtsev–Petviashvili (KP) equation. The new established Burgers–KP equation is studied by using the tanh–coth method to obtain kink solutions and periodic solutions. We also apply the powerful Hirota’s bilinear method to establish exact N-soliton solutions for the derived integrable equation.  相似文献

The goal of this short note is to provide another kind soliton solutions with Hirota form, which is different from what Wazwaz obtained in [A.M. Wazwaz, The integrable KdV6 equations: Multiple soliton solutions and multiple singular soliton solutions, Appl. Math. Comput. 204 (2008) 963-972]. Meanwhile we newly construct the MKdV6 equation and derive a Miura transformation between KdV6 equation and MKdV6 equation.  相似文献

Multiple soliton solutions for the (2 + 1)‐dimensional Sawada–Kotera and the Caudrey–Dodd–Gibbon equations are formally derived. Moreover, multiple singular soliton solutions are obtained for each equation. The simplified form of Hirota's bilinear method is employed to conduct this analysis. In this paper, we consider the Benjamin Bona Mahony equation (BBM), and we obtain new exact solutions for it by using a generalization of the well-known tanh-coth method. New periodic and soliton solutions for the Generalized BBM and Burgers-BBM equations are formally derived.  相似文献

We aim to explore new (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear equations which possess lump solutions. Through the Hirota bilinear method, we formulate a combined fourth-order nonlinear equation while guaranteeing the existence of lump solutions. The class of lump solutions is constructed explicitly in terms of the coefficients of the combined nonlinear equation via symbolic computations. Specific examples are discussed to show the richness of the considered combined nonlinear equation. Three dimensional plots and contour plots of specific lump solutions to two specially chosen cases of the equation are made to shed light on the presented lump solutions.  相似文献

In this work, an auxiliary equation is used for an analytic study on the time-variable coefficient modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation. Five sets of new exact soliton-like solutions are obtained. The results show that the pulse parameters are time-dependent variable coefficients. Moreover, the basic conditions for the formation of derived solutions are presented.  相似文献

Based on an auxiliary Lame equation and the perturbation method, a direct method is proposed to construct asymptotic higher-order periodic solutions to some nonlinear evolution equations. It is shown that some asymptotic higher-order periodic solutions to some nonlinear evolution equations in terms of Jacobi elliptic functions are explicitly obtained with the aid of symbolic computation.  相似文献

Through symbolic computation with Maple, the (2+1)-dimensional B-type Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(BKP) equation is considered. The generalized bilinear form not the Hirota bilinear method is the starting point in the computation process in this paper. The resulting lump solutions contain six free parameters, four of which satisfy two determinant conditions to guarantee the analyticity and rational localization of the solutions, while the others are arbitrary. Finally, the dynamic properties of these solutions are shown in figures by choosing the values of the parameters.  相似文献
