We revisit a suggestion, first made by Haas and Jordan but often attributed to Tryon and others, that the universe could have zero net energy since a test body's positive rest energy is approximately cancelled out by its negative gravitational binding energy with respect to the rest of the matter in the universe. If the universe is not matter- but vacuum-dominated, as observations now indicate, then the balance between rest and binding energies is substantially altered. We consider whether this may make the Newtonian case for a universe from nothing more plausible than before.  相似文献

We discuss the problem of universe acceleration driven by global rotation. The redshift-magnitude relation is calculated and discussed in the context of SN Ia observation data. It is shown that the dynamics of considered problem is equivalent to the Friedmann model with additional non-interacting fluid with negative pressure. We demonstrate that the universe acceleration increase is due to the presence of global rotation effects, although the cosmological constant is still required to explain the SN Ia data. We discuss some observational constraints coming from SN Ia imposed on the behaviour of the homogeneous Newtonian universe in which matter rotates relative local gyroscopes. In the Newtonian theory r,0 can be identified with ,0 (only dust fluid is admissible) and rotation can exist with r,0 =,0 0. However, the best-fit flat model is the model without rotation, i.e., ,0 =0. In the considered case we obtain the limit for ,0>-0.033 on the confidence level 68.3. We are also beyond the model and postulate the existence of additional matter which scales like radiation matter and then analyse how that model fits the SN Ia data. In this case the limits on rotation coming from BBN and CMB anisotropies are also obtained. If we assume that the current estimates are m,0 ~ 0.3, r,0 ~ 10-4, then the SN Ia data show that ,0 -0.01 (or 0 > 2.6 · 10-19 rad/s). The statistical analysis gives us that the interval for any matter scaling like radiation is r,0 ( - 0.01, 0.04).  相似文献

Since there may exist dark matter particles ν and δ with mass - 10^-1 e V in the universe, the superstructures with a scale of 10^19 solar masses (large number A - 10^19) appeared during the era near and before the hydrogen recombination. Since there are superstructures in the universe, there may be no necessity for the existence of dark energy. For checking the superstructure in the universe by CMB anisotropy, we need to measure CMB angular power spectrum especially around ten degrees across the sky- in more details, While neutrino u is related to electroweak unification, the fourth stable elementary particle 6 may be related to strong-gravity unification, which suggests p + p^- → n + δ^- and that some new baryons appeared in the TeV region.  相似文献

The teleparallel versions of the Einstein and the Landau-Lifshitz energy-momentum complexes of the gravitational field are obtained. By using these complexes, the total energy of the universe, which includes the energy of both the matter and the gravitational fields, is then obtained. It is shown that in the case of a closed universe, the total energy vanishes independently of the pseudotensor used, as well as of the three dimensionless coupling constants of teleparallel gravity.  相似文献

In this paper we discuss the evolution of the dark energy in the open universe under the framework of the χCDM model. It is showed that the dark energy in the open universe, which drives the universe accelerating, had strange evolution behaviors: it was in the state of negative energy and positive pressure at the early stage of evolution of the dark energy, then evolved into the phase of negative energy and negative pressure during the middle period, and evolved to have the typical features of dark energy (positive energy and negative pressure) only at the later stage.  相似文献

Composite rigging systems, involving membranes that meet on strings that meet on monopoles, arise naturally by the Kibble mechanism as topological defects in field theories involving spontaneous symmetry breaking. Such systems will tend to freeze out into static lattice type configurations with energy contribution ultimately be provided by the membranes. It has been suggested by Bucher and Spergel that on scales large compared with the relevant (interstellar separation) distance characterizing the relevant mesh length, such a system may behave as a rigidity-stabilized solid, having an approximately isotropic stress energy tensor with negative pressure, as given by a polytropic index γ = w+1 = 1/3. It has recently been shown that such a system can be rigid enough to be stable if the number of membranes meeting at a junction is even (though not if it is odd). Using as examples an approximaely O(3) symmetric scalar field model that can provide an “8-color” (body-centered) cubic lattice, and an approximate U(1)× U(1) model offering a disordered “5-color” lattice, it is argued that such a mechanism can account naturally for the observed dark energy dominance of the universe, without ad hoc assumptions, other than that the relevant symmetry breaking phase transition should have occurred somewhere about the Kev energy range.  相似文献

Recent observational evidences of accelerating phase of the universe strongly demand that the dominating matter in the universe is in the form of dark energy. In this work, we study the evolution of the apparent and event horizons for various dark energy models and examine their behavior across phantom barrier line.  相似文献

We further extend the cosmological scenario with energy exchange by Barrow and Clifton and our previous work to the more complex case with energy exchange between three fluids: radiation, matter and vacuum energy. By prescribing the form of energy exchange function, we construct an infinitely cyclic cosmological model, in which the universe undergoes an endless sequence of cosmic epoch and each consisting of expansion and contraction, and the cosmological parameters, such as the Hubble parameter H, deceleration parameter q, transition red-shift Z T, and densities ρ r ,ρ m , and ρ Λ are consistent with the present observed values.  相似文献

In this paper, evolution of the high energy area of universe, through the scenario of 5 dimensional (5D) universe, has been studied. For this purpose, we solve Einstein equations for 5D metric and 5D perfect fluid to derive Friedmann-like equations. Then we obtain the evolution of scale factor and energy density with respect to both space-like and time-like extra dimensions. We obtain the novel equations for the space-like extra dimension and show that the matter with zero pressure cannot exist in the bulk. Also, for dark energy fluid and vacuum fluid, we have both accelerated expansion and contraction in the bulk.  相似文献

In this article we describe a model of the universe consisting of a mixture of the ordinary matter and a so-called cosmic quaternionic field. The basic idea here consists in an attempt to interpret as the energy density of the quaternionic field whose source is any form of energy including the proper energy density of this field. We set the energy density of this field to and show that the ratio of ordinary dark matter energy density assigned to is constant during the cosmic evolution. We investigate the interaction of the quaternionic field with the ordinary dark matter and show that this field exerts a force on the moving dark matter which might possible create the dark matter in the early universe. Such determined fulfils the requirements asked from the dark energy. In this model of the universe, the cosmological constant, the fine-tuning and the age problems might be solved. Finally, we sketch the evolution of the universe with the cosmic quaternionic field and show that the energy density of the cosmic quaternionic field might be a possible candidate for the dark energy.  相似文献

In order to evaluate the energy distribution (due to matter and fields including gravitation) associated with a space-time model of cylindrically-symmetric Marder universe, we consider the Møller, Einstein, Bergmann–Thomson and Landau–Lifshitz energy and momentum definitions in the teleparallel gravity (TG). The energy-momentum distributions are found to be zero. These results are the same as a previous works of Aygün et al., they investigated the same problem in general relativity (GR) by using the Einstein, Møller, Bergmann–Thomson, Landau–Lifshitz (LL), Papapetrou, Qadir–Sharif and Weinberg’s definitions. These results support the viewpoints of Banerjee–Sen, Xulu, Radinschi and Aydo?du–Salt?. Another point is that our study agree with previous works of Cooperstock–Israelit, Rosen, Johri et al. This paper indicates an important point that these energy-momentum definitions agree with each other not only in general relativity but also in teleparallel gravity. It is also independent of the teleparallel dimensionless coupling constants, which means that it is valid not only in the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity, but also in any teleparallel model.  相似文献

In this paper,we investigate the agegraphic dark energy(ADE) model by including the sign-changeable interaction between ADE and dark matter in non-flat universe. The interaction Q can change its sign from Q 0 to Q 0 as the universe expands. This indicates that at first dark matter decays to ADE,and then ADE decays to dark matter. We study the dynamical behavior of the model by using the phase-plane analysis. It is shown numerically that the coupling constant β plays an important role in the evolution of the universe. The equation of state(Eo S) of ADE with the sign-changeable interaction is more likely to cross the phantom divide w_d =-1 from top to bottom with the increasing of the |β|.Whereas in ADE model with usual interaction,wd can cross the phantom divide from bottom to top.We also find that our model is consistent with the observational data.  相似文献

Recent observations of large scale structure of the Universe, especially that of Type Ia supernovae, indicate that the Universe is flat and is accelerating, and that the dominant energy density in the Universe is the cosmic dark energy. We propose a model in which the cosmic effective Yang-Mills condensate familiar in particle physics plays the role of the dark energy that causes the acceleration of the Universe. Since the quantum effective Yang-Mills field in certain states has the equation of state p y = – y , when employed as the cosmic matter source, it naturally results in an accelerating expansion of the Universe. With the matter components ( m 1/3) being added into the model, the composition of YM condensate and matter components can give rise to the desired equation of state w –2/3 for the Universe.  相似文献

The stability of holographic dark energy with a non-flat background is investigated. By treating the perturbation globally, we find that the holographic dark energy model is stable, which is a support for the holographic dark energy model.  相似文献
