We derive the electroweak radiative corrections to the basic PNC atomic transition amplitude for highly charged hydrogenlike
ions. In the case of highly charged ions (HCI) effects of strong fields are reflected by the momentum transfer q
2 involved. It is of the order q
2≈m
e
2 inHCI, while q
2≈0 inneutral atoms. This may open the possibility to search for “new physics” beyond the Standard Model and to test the Standard
Model in experiments with HCI.

In many theories beyond the Standard Model the quantities that we call “fundamental constants” become space‐time dependent, leading to corresponding variation of atomic and molecular spectra and clock frequencies. The extraordinary improvement of the atomic clock precision in the past fifteen years enabled testing the constancy of the fundamental constant at a very high level of precision. Herein, searches for the variation of fundamental constants with clocks are discussed, focusing on recent key results and future proposals, including highly charged ion, molecular, and nuclear clocks. The relevance of the recent searches for oscillatory and transient variation of fundamental constants to the major unexplained phenomena of our Universe, the nature of dark matter, is discussed. 相似文献

The interaction of a sequence of two identical ultrashort laser pulses with an atomic system results in quantum interferences
as in Ramsey fringes experiments. These interferences allow achievement of temporal coherent control of the excitation probability.
We present the results of a temporal coherent control experiment on two different atomic systems: one-photon absorption in
K (4s-4p) and two-photon absorption in Cs (6s-7d). In K, the quantum interferences between the two excitation paths associated with the laser pulses are revealed through
rapid oscillations of the excitation probability as a function of the time delay between the two pulses. These oscillations
take place at the transition frequency (period T = 2.56 fs). The interferences are modulated by beats (at about 580 fs) resulting from the doublet structure of the excited
state (4p (2

)). Three complementary interpretations of this experiment are presented: in terms of beats of quantum interferences, of variation
in the spectrum intensity, and of wave packet interferences. Whenever the two laser pulses are temporally overlapped, optical
interferences are superimposed on to the quantum interferences. The distinction between these two types of interference is
clearly revealed in the two-photon excitation scheme performed on Cs (6s-7d (2

3F3 at λ ≈ 363.1 nm were performed on the 42–46Sc isotopic chain using an ion guide isotope separator with a cooler–buncher. Isotope and isomer shifts and hyperfine structures
of five ground states and two isomers were measured. Preliminary results on the nuclear moments and charge radii changes deduced
from these measurements are reported. 相似文献
