磁性斯格明子由于拓扑的保护性,具有很高的稳定性和较小的临界驱动电流,有望应用于未来的赛道存储器件中.而在中心对称体系,由于偶极作用的各向同性,磁泡的拓扑性和螺旋度都呈现出多样性的特征.其中非平庸的磁泡即等同于磁性斯格明子.我们通过近期实验结果,结合微磁学模拟的方法,发现在中心对称体系中磁斯格明子的拓扑性会受到体系垂直各向异性的调控.另外在加磁场的演变过程中,会很大程度上依赖于基态畴的畴壁特性.磁场的倾斜或者一定的面内各向异性也会改变磁斯格明子的形态.通过对材料的基态磁结构及磁各向异性的调节,辅助以面内分量的控制,可以对基态磁畴、进而对磁斯格明子的拓扑性实现调控.这对磁斯格明子在电流驱动存储器件中的应用具有重要意义.  相似文献

A study has been made of the usefulness of the SEM for the observation of magnetic bubble-like domain structures in a variety of oxide materials. The basic theory behind the technique is outlined including a rigorous evaluation of the fiekd integral for an isolated bubble and a hexagonal bubble lattice. Secondary electron trajectories have been computed and give reasonable agreement with those predicted from the model used.Experimentally it has proved possible to observe magnetic bubbles in garnet but the contrast is generally poor. Better results are obtained in hexa- and ortho-ferrites including the resolution of surface detail. The possibility of scanning electron optical detection in a bubble memory is discussed but the signal-to-noise ratio is again unfavourable for garnets.  相似文献

利用二维粒子模拟方法,本文研究了超强激光与泡沫微结构镀层靶相互作用产生强流电子束问题.研究发现泡沫区域产生了百兆高斯级准静态磁场,形成具有选能作用的"磁势垒",强流电子束中的低能端电子在"磁势垒"的作用下返回激光作用区域,在鞘场和激光场的共同作用下发生多次加速过程,从而显著提升高能电子产额.还应用单粒子模型,分析了电子在激光场作用下的运动行为,验证了多次加速的物理机理.  相似文献

The SEM represents a comparatively new technique for the imaging of magnetic domains and a “state of the art” review of its applications and potential is given. A simple account of electron scattering, presented initially, serves as a basis to explain the physical origin and characteristics of the two principal modes of magnetic contrast. Simple models of the imaging process are discussed as well as the instrumental factors necessary to optimize contrast and resolution.The SEM has been used to investigate the domain structures of recording tape, cobalt and many magnetic oxides, including bubble materials. It also yields quantitative information about field distributions such as those found in recording heads. Domain and domain wall images may also be observed in cubic materials and this is particularly useful for studying the behaviour of transformer grain oriented silicon-iron, especially at high accelerating voltages where the coating can be penetrated to reveal the magnetic structure beneath.When allied with its versatility in other fields of operation it is concluded that the SEM constitutes a valuable tool for domain observation and will find increasing use as such.  相似文献

The compression and inflammation of reactive gas bubbles in bubble detonation waves have been studied, and the considerable influence of the fluid (liquid or vapor) on the detonation parameters has been found. It has been shown numerically that the final values of the pressure and temperature significantly decrease if the temperature dependence of the adiabatic index is taken into account at the compression stage. The parameters of reactive gas combustion products in the bubble have been calculated in terms of an equilibrium model, and the influence of the fluid that remains in the bubble in the form of microdroplets and vapor on these parameters has been investigated.

Abstract

The novel application of vacuum ultra-violet absorption spectroscopy and electron energy loss spectroscopy to helium bubbles in metals is presented. These measurements, carried out on thin aluminium films containing different concentrations of helium and various bubble size distributions, were aimed at determining the density (and thus pressure) of helium in bubbles by observing the shift and broadening of the IS-2P transition in the helium. The data coupled with a theoretical model developed by the authors (see following paper) indicate densities as high as 1023 He cm?3 for specimens containing small bubbles. Data are also presented on the effect that annealing and cooling have on these spectra. The annealing experiments give rise to fairly complex changes in absorption peak structure but with a general shift towards the unperturbed resonance line. The cooling experiment gives rise to a further shift and a narrowing of the absorption spectrum on cooling to 77 K which is tentatively identified as the liquid/solid transition in the helium. Finally, fluorescence spectrum of an Al/He specimen excited with low energy electrons is presented.  相似文献

The effect of electric current pulses on a sub-100 nm magnetic bubble state in a symmetric Pt/Co multilayer was directly observed using a full-field transmission soft X-ray microscope (MTXM). Field-induced evolution of the magnetic stripe domains into isolated bubbles with their sizes down to 100 nm was imaged under varying external magnetic fields. Electric current pulses were then applied to the created magnetic bubbles, and it was observed that the bubbles could be either created or annihilated by the current pulse depending on the strength of applied magnetic field. The results suggest that the Joule heating plays a critical role in the formation and/or elimination of the bubbles and skyrmions. Finally, the schematic phase diagram for the creation and annihilation of bubbles is presented, suggesting an optimized scheme with the combination of magnetic field and electric current necessary to utilize skyrmions in the practical devices.  相似文献

Bubble dynamics has been recognized as being responsible for many effects in ultrasonic fields, for example cleaning and destruction of surfaces, and emulsification. To improve the performance of ultrasonic devices which make use of these effects some knowledge of the dynamics of cavitation bubbles is needed. One of the main means of studying bubble dynamics is high speed photography in conjunction with some suitable bubble production mechanism to get rid of the statistical appearance of bubbles encountered in ultrasonic cavitation. Results of jet and vortex ring formation obtained mainly with spark-and laser-produced bubbles are reported and demonstrated in a series of frames.  相似文献

Normal state bubble patterns in type I superconducting indium and lead slabs are studied by the high resolution magneto-optical imaging technique. The size of bubbles is found to be independent of the long-range interaction between the normal state domains. Under bubble diameter and slab thickness proper scaling, the results gather onto a single master curve. We calculate the equilibrium diameter of an isolated bubble resulting from the competition between the Biot-and-Savart interaction of the Meissner current encircling the bubble and the superconductor-normal interface energy. A good quantitative agreement with the master curve is found over two decades of the magnetic Bond number. The isolation of each bubble in the superconductor and the interface energy are shown to preclude any continuous size variation of the bubbles after their formation, contrary to the prediction of mean-field models.  相似文献

实验中已发现氦离子低温预辐照不锈钢材料能有效抑制高温辐照阶段的氦泡生长,但这一结果一直缺少理论解释.基于持续注入粒子的三维格子气模型,采用Monte Carlo模拟方法研究了不同温度模式对氦泡生长行为的影响.研究发现,计算结果能很好地再现氦离子低温预注入抑制高温氦泡生长的实验现象,其原理为低温预注入时材料中形成了较高数密度的小氦泡,由于氦泡数量较多从而限制了氦泡平均尺寸的增大.  相似文献

Ultrasonic cavitation at frequencies of 0.514, 0.866, 1.03 and 1.61 MHz in water flowing through tubes was observed by counting bubbles downstream with a resonant bubble detector (RBD) operated at 0.89 or 1.7 MHz. In a 21 mm diameter, thin-walled tube, cavitation thresholds in tap water flowing at 5.3 cm s?1 ranged from 2.0 – 2.5 bar at 0.514 MHz to 3 – 4 bar at 1.61 MHz. When high speed injections were employed to trigger the ultrasonic cavitation with hydrodynamically-generated bubbles, the thresholds were reduced to about 2 bar and bubble production was enhanced for 1.03 and 1.61 MHz exposures. Ultrasonic radiation forces on the bubbles and bubble coalescence appeared to cause, under some conditions, a reduction in bubble counts during subthreshold exposures when bubbles were injected into the flow. The RBD method is a useful tool for detecting and semi-quantitatively observing cavitation in a flow-through exposure system.  相似文献

The entry of a shock wave from air into water containing reactive gas (stoichiometric acetylene–oxygen mixture) bubbles uniformly distributed over the volume of the liquid has been numerically investigated using equations describing two-phase compressible viscous reactive flow. It has been demonstrated that a steady-state supersonic self-sustaining reaction front with rapid and complete fuel burnout in the leading shock wave can propagate in this bubbly medium. This reaction front can be treated as a detonation-like front or “bubble detonation.” The calculated and measured velocities of the bubble detonation wave have been compared at initial gas volume fraction of 2 to 6%. The observed and calculated data are in satisfactory qualitative and quantitative agreement. The structure of the bubble detonation wave has been numerically studied. In this wave, the gas volume fraction behind the leading front is approximately 3–4 times higher than in the pressure wave that propagates in water with air bubbles when the other initial conditions are the same. The bubble detonation wave can form after the penetration of the shock wave to a small depth (~300 mm) into the column of the bubbly medium. The model suggested here can be used to find optimum conditions for maximizing the efficiency of momentum transfer from the pressure wave to the bubbly medium in promising hydrojet pulse detonation engines.  相似文献

液态金属中气泡行为是磁流体力学的重要方面。为对磁场条件下导电流体中气泡动力学行为作全面理解,基于磁流体动力学方法建立了磁场条件下导电流体中气泡径向振动的无量纲化动力学方程,数值研究了磁场对导电流体中气泡径向非线性振动稳定性、泡内温度、泡内气压及液体空化阈值的影响。结果显示:磁场增强了气泡非线性振动的稳定性,随着磁场增强且当作用在泡上的电磁力与惯性力数量级可比时,气泡运动为稳定的周期性振动;同时,磁场引起泡内温度、泡内压力及液体空化阈值变化。研究表明,可用磁场调节和控制液态金属中气泡的运动使其满足工程应用需求。   相似文献

Brownian-type motion of helium bubbles in aluminum and its dynamical response to irradiation with 100-keV Al+ ions at high temperatures has been studied using in situ irradiation and transmission electron microscopy. It is found that, for most bubbles, the Brownian-type motion is retarded under irradiation, while the mobility returns when the irradiation is stopped. In contrast, under irradiation, a small number of bubbles display exceptionally rapid motion associated with the change in bubble size. These effects are discussed in terms of the dynamical interaction of helium bubbles with cascade damage formed by the high-energy self-ion irradiation.  相似文献

Abstract

It is shown that as a result of the Greenwood-Foreman-Rimmer loop punching mechanism applied for helium bubble growth in nickel implanted with 5 keV He+ ions at 273 K, a considerable amount of helium remains outside the bubbles which are visible in a transmission electron microscope (TEM). It is also shown that even when it is assumed that there is an energy barrier with an upper limit equal to the formation energy of a self-interstitial atom, not all implanted helium can be accumulated in the bubbles below the critical dose for blistering.

The experimental observation of bubble growth in a helium pre-implanted nickel specimen during 1 MeV e? irradiation may demonstrate that indeed a significant amount of helium remains between the bubbles visible in TEM.  相似文献

首先简要地介绍了磁性材料中磁结构、磁畴结构和拓扑磁结构以及相互之间的关系. 一方面, 磁畴结构由材料的磁结构、内禀磁性和微结构因素决定; 另一方面, 磁畴结构决定了材料磁化和退磁化过程以及技术磁性. 拓扑学与材料物理、材料性能的联系越来越紧密. 最近的研究兴趣集中在一些拓扑磁性组态, 如涡旋、磁泡、麦纫、斯格米子等. 研究发现这些拓扑磁结构的拓扑性质与磁性能密切相关. 然后从尺寸效应、缺陷、晶界三个方面介绍国际学术界在磁结构、磁畴结构和拓扑磁结构方面的进展. 最后介绍了在稀土永磁薄膜材料的微观结构、磁畴结构和磁性能关系、交换耦合纳米盘中的拓扑磁结构及其动力学行为方面的工作. 通过对文献的评述, 得到以下结论: 开展各向异性纳米复合稀土永磁材料的研究对更好地利用稀土资源具有重要的意义. 可以有目的地改变材料的微结构, 可控地进行磁性材料的磁畴工程, 最终获得优秀的磁性能. 拓扑学的概念正在应用于越来越多的学科领域, 在越来越多的材料中发现拓扑学的贡献. 研究磁畴结构、拓扑磁性基态或者激发态的形成规律以及动力学行为对理解量子拓扑相变以及其他与拓扑相关的物理效应是十分重要的. 也会帮助理解不同拓扑学态之间相互作用的物理机制及其与磁性能之间的关系, 同时拓展拓扑学在新型磁性材料中的应用.  相似文献

Due to its physical and/or chemical effects, acoustic cavitation plays a crucial role in various emerging applications ranging from advanced materials to biomedicine. The cavitation bubbles usually undergo oscillatory dynamics and violent collapse within a viscoelastic medium, which are closely related to the cavitation-associated effects. However, the role of medium viscoelasticity on the cavitation dynamics has received little attention, especially for the bubble collapse strength during multi-bubble cavitation with the complex interactions between size polydisperse bubbles. In this study, modified Gilmore equations accounting for inter-bubble interactions were coupled with the Zener viscoelastic model to simulate the dynamics of multi-bubble cavitation in viscoelastic media. Results showed that the cavitation dynamics (e.g., acoustic resonant response, nonlinear oscillation behavior and bubble collapse strength) of differently-sized bubbles depend differently on the medium viscoelasticity and each bubble is affected by its neighboring bubbles to a different degree. More specifically, increasing medium viscosity drastically dampens the bubble dynamics and weakens the bubble collapse strength, while medium elasticity mainly affects the bubble resonance at which the bubble collapse strength is maximum. Differently-sized bubbles can achieve resonances and even subharmonic resonances at high driving acoustic pressures as the elasticity changes to certain values, and the resonance frequency of each bubble increases with the elasticity increasing. For the interactions between the size polydisperse bubbles, it indicated that the largest bubble generally has a dominant effect on the dynamics of smaller ones while in turn it is almost unaffected, exhibiting a pattern of destructive and constructive interactions. This study provides a valuable insight into the acoustic cavitation dynamics of multiple interacting polydisperse bubbles in viscoelastic media, which may offer a potential of controlling the medium viscoelasticity to appropriately manipulate the dynamics of multi-bubble cavitation for achieving proper cavitation effects according to the desired application.  相似文献
