本文给出了具有对称的集合上两个自映射有唯一共同不动点的充要条件.同时,还给出了完备度量空间上两个自映射有共同唯一不动点的条件.

在完备的度量空间上利用满足具有某种变系数的收缩条件或φ-收缩条件的两个集值映射构造了一个收敛序列,然后证明了该序列的唯一极限就是两个映射的公共不动点并给出了映射族存在唯一公共不动点的充分条件,同时给出了几个特殊结果.所得结果推广和改进了一些已有的结论.     

Common fixed point theorems for mappings satisfying property (E.A) on cone metric spaces

The aim of this paper is to give some new common fixed point theorems for mappings satisfying property (E.A) on cone metric spaces. And we prove the existence and uniqueness of solution for a ordinary differential equation with periodic boundary condition.     

Common coupled fixed point theorems for w^*-compatible mappings without mixed monotone property

In this paper, we show that the mixed $g$ -monotone property in coupled coincidence point theorems can be replaced by generalized property. Hence, these results can be applied in a much wider class of problems. We also study the condition for the uniqueness of a common coupled fixed point and give some example of nonlinear contraction mappings where the existence of the common coupled fixed point cannot be obtained by the mixed monotone property, but it follows by our results. At the end of this paper, we give an open problems for further investigation.

Generalized fixed point theorems for compatible mappings with some types in fuzzy metric spaces

In this paper, we give some new definitions of compatible mappings of types (I) and (II) in fuzzy metric spaces and prove some common fixed point theorems for four mappings under the condition of compatible mappings of types (I) and (II) in complete fuzzy metric spaces. Our results extend, generalize and improve the corresponding results given by many authors.     

Common fixed point theorems for families of occasionally weakly compatible mappings

We prove some common fixed point theorems in probabilistic semi-metric spaces for families of occasionally weakly compatible mappings. We also give a common fixed point theorem for mappings satisfying an integral-type implicit relation.     

Unique Common Fixed Point for a Family of Mappings with a Nonlinear Quasi-Contractive Type Condition in Metrically Convex Spaces

A class Φ of 5-dimensional functions was introduced and an existence and uniqueness of common fixed points for a family of non-self mappings satisfying a φiquasi-contractive condition and a certain boundary condition was given on complete metrically convex metric spaces, and from which, more general unique common fixed point theorems were obtained. Our main results generalize and improve many same type common fixed point theorems in references.

Some common fixed point results for mappings satisfying a quasi-contractive condition which involves altering distance functions are obtained in partially ordered complete cone metric spaces. A sufficient condition for the uniqueness of common fixed point is proved. Also, an example is given to support our results.

On iterative methods for equilibrium problems

In this paper, we introduce a hybrid iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of finitely many nonexpansive mappings. We prove that the approximate solution converges strongly to a solution of a class of variational inequalities under some mild conditions, which is the optimality condition for some minimization problem. We also give some comments on the results of Plubtieng and Punpaeng [S. Plubtieng, R. Punpaeng, A general iterative method for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems in Hilbert spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 336 (2007) 455–469]. Results obtained in this paper may be viewed as an improvement and refinement of the previously known results in this area.

On the continuity of the Volterra variational derivative

We give a sufficient condition for the continuity of the Volterra variational derivative of a functional with respect to a fixed function. For linear functionals this condition is automatically satisfied, and so the Volterra variational derivative of a linear functional is always continuous.

Neocompact Sets and the Fixed Point Property

We use a newly introduced concept of neocompactness to study problems from metric fixed point theory. In particular, we give a sufficient condition for a superreflexive Banach space X to have the fixed point property and obtain shorter proofs of some well-known results in that theory.     

Common fixed points in cone metric spaces

In this paper we consider a notion of g-weak contractive mappings in the setting of cone metric spaces and we give results of common fixed points. This results generalize some common fixed points results in metric spaces and some of the results of Huang and Zhang in cone metric spaces. Supported by Universitá degli Studi di Palermo, R.
