Functionalized diazo acetoacetates are prepared by an efficient Mukaiyama aldol reaction between 3-TBSO-2-diazo-3-butenoate with aldehydes and acetals under mild reaction conditions. A variety of substituted aldehydes and the corresponding acetals are both accessible in good to excellent yields through this methodology. MgI2 etherate (MgI2·(OEt2)n) is the preferred catalyst and, the addition proceeds without decomposition of the diazo moiety. In addition, this MgI2·(OEt2)n-catalyzed Mukaiyama aldol reaction shows unique chemoselectivity towards aldehydes and acetals.  相似文献

The structure of 2.8 M MgI2 in diethyl ether solution and that of 1.7 M MgI2 in tetrahydrofuran solution have been determined by large angle X-ray scattering measurements. The measurement on the diethyl ether solution was performed at 44°C, on a phase crystallizing at approximately 30°C. In diethyl ether a dimeric structure is found, arranged in a square-planar fashion. The bond lengths are: MgI 2.652(2), II (diagonal) 3.75(2) and II (linear) 5.30 Å. Three diethyl ether molecules are probably coordinated to each magnesium to complete an octahedral arrangement. In tetrahydrofuran the ion MgI+ from a dissociated complex predominates. In the MgI2 complex a tetrahedral arrangement is found. In both the MgI+ and MgI2 complexes the MgI distance is 2.56(2) Å. In the MgI2 complex the II distance is 4.44(4) Å. In both solutions the MgO and MgC distances were kept fixed at 2.10 and 3.48 Å, respectively. The solubility of MgI2 in diethyl ether has been shown to be strongly dependent on the water content of the ether; 0.2 M was the highest concentration obtained in anhydrous diethyl ether.  相似文献

A highly stereoselective synthesis of (Z)-β-iodovinyl ketone has been achieved with the tandem formation of CC and CI bonds in a three-component reaction. This new catalysis utilizes MgI2 as a Lewis acid as well as an iodine source for a Michael-type addition. α,β-Acetylenic ketone is initially converted to an active β-iodo allenolate intermediate and then can be attacked by a variety of aldehydes to afford Z-selective Baylis-Hillman adducts in excellent yields.  相似文献

Reaction of donor-acceptor cyclopropanes with 1,3-diphenylisobenzofuran in the presence of lanthanide triflates, as well as CuOTf, Sn(OTf)2, SnCl2, ZnCl2, GaCl3, and MgI2, proceeds as a formal [3+4]-cycloaddition leading to a newly formed seven-membered ring. This reaction was found to be typical of cyclopropane-1,1-diesters and dinitriles, as well as 1-nitrocyclo-propanecarboxylates containing aromatic, heteroaromatic, and vinylic substituents at the C(2) atom of the small ring. When Me3SiOTf, TiCl4, SnCl4, or BF3·OEt2 were used as initiators, unusual cyclic hemiacetals were formed via the conjugate 1,4-addition of a cyclopropane and a nucleophile to the diene moiety.  相似文献

Xanthohumol was isolated from supercritical carbon dioxide-spent hop and transformed into isoxanthohumol. The demethylation of isoxanthohumol with the best yield 93% occurred when MgI2 etherate in anhydrous THF was applied. Salts such as MgBr2, MgCl2, CaI2, Mg(OAc)2, Mg(OMe)2 were also investigated. A convenient method for the xanthohumol isolation from supercritical carbon dioxide-spent hop is also described.  相似文献

The efficient and highly stereoselective syntheses of a variety of (Z)‐configured, substituted α‐(hydroxymethyl) ‐ β‐iodo‐acrylates from prop‐2‐ynoate and various aldehydes was achieved. The synthetic protocol involves a simple one‐pot coupling reaction under mild conditions, promoted by MgI2, which serves both as a Lewis acid and iodine source for a Baylis? Hillman‐type reaction. All adducts were generated in good‐to‐excellent yields, the (Z)‐isomers being formed in high selectivity (>98%). The conversion of methyl prop‐2‐ynoate into an active ‘β‐iodo allenolate’ intermediate, which then nucleophilically attacks an aldehyde, is proposed as a plausible reaction mechanism.  相似文献

A concise, straightforward and efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of α-aminonitriles by an one-pot three-component condensation of aldehydes or ketones, amines and trimethylsilyl cyanide catalyzed by MgI2 etherate under solvent-free conditions. N-β-Haloethyl-N,N-bis(trimethylsilyl)amines, which can be used for the introduction of aminoethyl groups into organic or organosilicon compounds, are prepared in good yields from N-trimethylsilylaziridine and trimethylhalosilanes. This reaction is spontaneous with trimethylbromo- and -iodosilane, whereas it is necessary to run the reactions with trimethylchlorosilane in the presence of dipolar aprotic solvents and at higher temperatures.N-β-Bromoethyl-N,N-bis(trimethylsilyl)amine (II) is also obtained by silylation of N-β-bromoethylamine hydrobromide with trimethylsilyldiethylamine or with N-trimethylsilyl-N-methyl acetamide. Furthermore N-β-iodoethyl-N,N- bis(trimethylsilyl)amine is prepared by the reaction of II with MgI2 or of aziridine and N-trimethylsilylaziridine respectively, with trimethylchlorosilane and MgI2.From the silylation of N-β-bromoethylamine hydrobromide with trimethylsilyldiethylamine N,N-bis(trimethylsilyl)-N′,N′-diethylethylenediamine is isolated as a side product or, at higher temperatures, as the main product.  相似文献

As an extension of our previous studies, the phosphine-mediated diverse reactivity of γ-substituted allenoates with aldehydes has been further investigated. Under the catalysis of tris(p-chlorophenyl)phosphine (20 mol %), ethyl 2,3-pentadienoate, namely ethyl γ-methyl allenoate, readily undergoes a formal [4+2] annulation with dual-functional salicylaldehydes, giving highly functionalized chromans in 47-97% yields. This transformation represents a novel reactivity pattern of electron-deficient allenes with aldehydes. Conversely, when the γ substituent in the allenoate changes from methyl to benzyl or the employed phosphine from weakly nucleophilic triarylphosphine to strongly trialkylphosphine, the phosphine-mediated reactivity of γ-substituted allenoates with aldehydes will be steered to a stoichiometric olefination reaction, leading to the highly stereoselective formation of (E,E)-1,3-dienes. Thus, under the mediation of equivalent PPh3, ethyl γ-benzyl allenoate readily condenses with salicylaldehydes, affording (E,E)-1,3-dienes in 34-84% yields; with strongly nucleophilic 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane (PTA) used instead of PPh3, ethyl γ-methyl allenoate also gives the corresponding olefination products in 32-73% yields with reactive aromatic aldehydes. On the basis of our previous studies and current work, these chemical transformations of γ-substituted allenoates with aldehydes, as well as their diverse reactivity, have been mechanistically rationalized.  相似文献

The reaction of N-methylspiro[anthracene-oxazolidine] with spiro[cyclopropane-3,3′-indolin]-2-ones in the presence of MgI2 formed the corresponding spiro[pyrrolidine-3,3′-indolin]-2-ones in 42–65% yields. The use of N-benzylspiro[anthracene-oxazolidine] in this reaction led to the formation of a mixture of the corresponding N-methyl- and N-benzylpyrrolidines.  相似文献

A series of phenylaluminum reagents AlPhxEt3?x(L) (x = 1–3) containing adduct ligand L [Et2O, THF, OPPh3, or 4-dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP)] were synthesized and characterized. NMR studies showed that AlPhxEt3?x(L) (x = 1 or 2) exists as an equilibrium mixture of 3–4 species in solution. Solid-state structures of the phenylaluminum reagents reveal a distorted tetrahedral geometry. Asymmetric additions of phenylaluminum to 2-chlorobenzaldehyde were examined employing a titanium(IV) complex [TiL1(OPri)2]2 10 (H2L1 = (1R,2S)-2-(p-tolylsulfonylamino)-1,3-diphenyl-1-propanol) as a catalyst precursor. It was found that the adduct ligand L had a strong influence on the reactivity and the enantioselectivity in asymmetric phenyl additions to aldehydes. The phenylaluminum reagents with OPPh3 or DMAP were unreactive toward aldehydes, and AlPh3(THF) was found to be superior to AlPh3(OEt2) or AlPhEt2(THF). Asymmetric aryl additions of AlAr3(THF) to aldehydes employing a loading of 5 mol % titanium(IV) complex 10 with a strategy of a slow addition of the aldehydes over 20 min were conducted, and the reactions produced optically active secondary alcohols in high yields with excellent enantioselectivities of up to 94% ee.  相似文献

Optically pure C2-symmetric diols have been synthesized with moderate yields in a straightforward manner, and are used as catalysts in the enantioselective alkylation of aromatic aldehydes with diethylzinc. The addition of diethylzinc to benzaldehyde and sterically hindered 1-naphthaldehyde was achieved with excellent enantioselectivities (97–99% ee) under catalysis with (1R,2R)-1,2-bis(3,5-dibromophenyl)-ethane-1,2-diol and (1R,2R)-1,2-bis(3,5-diphenylphenyl)-ethane-1,2-diol.  相似文献

The nucleophilic conjugate addition of chiral formaldehyde N,N-dialkylhydrazones 1 to doubly activated cyclic alkenes 2-8 proceeds smoothly to afford the corresponding Michael adducts 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, and 25 in variable yields and selectivities. The reactions take place either spontaneously or in the presence of MgI2 as a mild Lewis acid depending on the type of substrate. The SmI2-mediated and H2O-promoted reductive cross-coupling reactions of the l-tartaric acid derived nitrone (3S,4S)-8 with aldehydes/ketones, and the l-malic acid derived nitrone (S)-6 with aliphatic acyl chlorides have been investigated, respectively. (2R,3S,4S)-1,3,4-Trihydroxyprolinol derivatives 9a-f were obtained with high C-2/C-3 trans-selectivities, and 72:28-85:15 diastereoselectivities at the carbinol center from aromatic ketones/aldehydes, while low diastereoselectivities for aliphatic aldehydes. Conditions have been established for the syntheses of (2R,3S,4S)-3,4-dihydroxyprolinol derivatives such as 18, by N-O bond cleavage of the corresponding N-hydroxyprolinol derivatives 9b-f, or more conveniently by a one-pot reductive coupling of nitrone 8 and in situ N-O bond cleavage of the resultant coupling product. The 2-acyl-3-benzyloxy-1-hydroxypyrrolidines 10a-f were formed in 48-82% yields, and in 74:26-78:22 diastereoselectivities. It was revealed that the amount of water required for the reaction is substrate-depending.  相似文献

A new self-assembled catalyst based on titanium complex has been developed for the effective enantioselective cyano-ethoxycarbonylation of aldehydes. The self-assembled catalyst was readily prepared from (R)-3,3′-bis((methyl((S)-1-phenylethyl)amino)methyl)-1,1′-binaphthyl-2,2′-diol (1h), N-((1S,2R)-2-hydroxy-1,2-diphenylethyl)acetamide (2b), and tetraisopropyl titanate (Ti(OiPr)4). A variety of aromatic aldehydes, aliphatic aldehydes, and α,β-unsaturated aldehydes were found to be suitable substrates in the presence of the self-assembled titanium catalyst (5 mol % 1h, 5 mol % 2b, and 5 mol % Ti(OiPr)4). The desired cyanohydrin ethyl carbonates were afforded with high isolated yields (up to 95%) and moderate to good enantioselectivities (up to 92% ee) under mild conditions (at −15 °C). A possible catalytic cycle based on the experimental observation was proposed.  相似文献

The nature of the mechanism of the anodic oxidation of aldehydes in aqueous base on gold electrodes has been probed using isotopic substitution and competitive adsorption studies. A primary kinetic isotope effect of kH/kD=3?4 was observed upon substitution of deuterium for protium on the formyl group of benzaldehyde and cyclohexanecarboxaldehyde on gold in aqueous base using the techniques of cyclic voltammetry, rotating disc electrode voltammetry and chronoamperometry. Similar results are reported for the same aldehydes on a silver electrode, and also for the anodic oxidation of 2-propanol and 2-propanol-2-d on gold under similar conditions. Inhibition of the anodic cyclic voltammetric peak for benzaldehyde on gold by a variety of adsorbed species including CN?, I?, Br?, (C2H5)4N+ and diethylenetriamine is also described. These observations are used to propose a mechanism for the low potential oxidations of aldehydes and alcohols on gold involving a rate limiting dissociative adsorption step with cleavage of the α-carbon-hydrogen bond.  相似文献
