This paper studies the effects of Ag atomic segregation from the inner (100) or (111) planes on the melting of Ag–Pd clusters with different sizes by a molecular dynamics simulation. The results show that Ag segregation leads to the atomic energy decreases with increasing the temperature. Furthermore, the effect of the (100) segregation is larger than that of the (111) segregation. Meanwhile, the influence of segregation on the energy decreases with increasing the cluster size. The melting points of the clusters without segregation are the largest, followed by the clusters with a (111) and (100) segregation. 相似文献

Friedel–Crafts acylation of benzene derivatives such as anisole, toluene, and xylene has been successively carried out using silver nitrate as the catalyst in the presence of an eco friendly solvent (ethyl alcohol). Both benzoyl chloride and acetyl chloride reacted smoothly under the conditions to afford the corresponding ketones in good yield.

Co–Pd bimetallic alloy nanoparticle catalysts were prepared from CoCl2, Pd(OAc)2 and several capping agents with Li(C2H5)3BH. The nanoparticle catalysts were applied to the aerobic oxidation of a variety of alcohols in water to give the corresponding carbonyl products. The catalyst was magnetically recovered and reused for further oxidation. The nanoparticle catalysts were characterized with TEM, ICP, and XPS analyses. 相似文献

Silica, alumina, and activated carbon supported iron-cobalt catalysts were prepared by incipient wetness impregnation. These catalysts have been characterized by BET, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and temperature-programmed reduction (TPR). Activity and selectivity of iron-cobalt supported on different carriers for CO hydrogenation were studied under the conditions of 1.5 MPa, 493 K, 630 h-1, and H2/CO ratio of 1.6. The results indicate that the activity, C4 olefin/(C4 olefin C4 paraffin) ratio, and C5 olefin/(C5 olefin C5 paraffin) decrease in the order of Fe-Co/SiO2, Fe-Co/AC1, Fe-Co/Al2O3 and Fe-Co/AC2. The activity of Fe-Co/SiO2 reached a maximum. The results of TPR show that the Fe-Co/SiO2 catalyst is to some extent different. XRD patterns show that the Fe-Co/SiO2 catalyst differs significantly from the others; it has two diffraction peaks. The active spinel phase is correlated with the supports. 相似文献

Electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (ECO2RR) with controlled product selectivity is realized on Ag−Cu bimetallic surface alloys, with high selectivity towards C2 hydrocarbons/alcohols (≈60 % faradaic efficiency, FE), C1 hydrocarbons/alcohols (≈41 % FE) and CO (≈74 % FE) achieved by tuning surface compositions and applied potentials. In situ spectral investigations and theoretical calculations reveal that surface-composition-dependent d-band center could tune *CO binding strengths, regulating the *CO subsequent reaction pathways and then the product selectivity. Further adjusting the applied potentials will alter the energy of participated electrons, which leads to controlled ECO2RR selectivity towards desired products. A predominant region map, with an indicator proposed to evaluate the thermodynamic predominance of the *CO subsequent reactions, is then provided as a reliable theoretical guidance for the controllable ECO2RR product selectivity over bimetallic alloys. 相似文献

A novel method of controlling the shape memory properties of shape memory polyurethane (SMPU) by addition of micro-phase separation promoters including 1-octadecanol (ODO) and liquid paraffin (LP) is reported. The results indicate that the strain recovery temperature and the strain modulus rate (Eg/Er) were increased significantly with addition of small amount of micro-phase separation promoters. A new economic and convenient method to modify the surface of microporous polypropylene (PP) membranes with phospholipid polymer was given. The process included the photo-irradiated graft polymerization of N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA) and the ring-opening reaction of the grafted polyDMAEMA with 2-alkyloxy-2-oxide-1,3,2-dioxo-phospholanes (AOP). Four AOPs, whose alkyloxy groups consisted of dodecyl, tetradecyl,hexadecyl and octadecyl moieties, were used to convert the grafted polyDMAEMA to phospholipidpolymers. FT-IR spectra confirmed the chemical change of membrane surface. Platelets adhesion experiment indicated that PP membrane with excellent blood compatible surface could be fabricated by this method. 相似文献

Pd/Sibunit and Pd–M/Sibunit (M = Ga, Zn, or Ag) catalysts have been synthesized, and their catalytic properties in liquid-phase acetylene hydrogenation have been investigated. Doping of the palladium catalyst with a metal M leads to the formation of the Pd2Ga, PdZn, or Pd0.46Ag0.54 bimetallic compound. The bimetallic particles are much smaller (1.6–2.0 nm) than the monometallic palladium particles (4.0 nm). Doping with zinc raises the ethylene selectivity by 25% without affecting the activity of the catalyst. Specific features of the effect of each of the dopants on palladium are reported. 相似文献

Herein, we propose the construction of a sandwich-structured host filled with continuous 2D catalysis–conduction interfaces. This MoN-C-MoN trilayer architecture causes the strong conformal adsorption of S/Li2Sx and its high-efficiency conversion on the two-sided nitride polar surfaces, which are supplied with high-flux electron transfer from the buried carbon interlayer. The 3D self-assembly of these 2D sandwich structures further reinforces the interconnection of conductive and catalytic networks. The maximized exposure of adsorptive/catalytic planes endows the MoN-C@S electrode with excellent cycling stability and high rate performance even under high S loading and low host surface area. The high conductivity of this trilayer texture does not compromise the capacity retention after the S content is increased. Such a job-synergistic mode between catalytic and conductive functions guarantees the homogeneous deposition of S/Li2Sx, and avoids thick and devitalized accumulation (electrode passivation) even after high-rate and long-term cycling. 相似文献
