This paper investigates the relative controllability of delay differential systems with linear impulses and linear parts defined by permutable matrices. We use the impulsive delay Grammian matrix to discuss the relatively controllability of impulsive linear delay controlled systems and we use the Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem to discuss the relatively controllability of impulsive semilinear delay controlled systems. Finally, two examples are presented to illustrate our theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper deals with the control of linear delay differential systems with target in a function space. It is shown that the bang-bang property does not hold in the strict sense but in some approximate sense. Existence of a time-optimal control which steers to the null function is proved. Using degeneracy of linear autonomous delay differential systems, we describe a new behavior of some controlled delayed systems which we called theloss of memory phenomenon.  相似文献

The design problem of optimal feedback control for linear systems with input delays is very important in many engineering applications. Usually, the linear systems with input delays are firstly converted into linear systems without delays, and then all the design procedures are based on the delay-free linear systems. In this way, the feedback controllers are not designed in terms of the original states. This paper presents some new closed-form formula in terms of the original states for the delayed optimal feedback control of linear systems with input delays. We firstly reveal the essential role of the input delay in the optimal control design of the linear system with a single input delay: the input delay postpones the action of the optimal control only. Based on this fact, we calculate the delayed optimal control and find that the optimal state can be represented by a simple closed-form formula, so that the delayed optimal feedback control can be obtained in a simple way. We show that the delayed feedback gain matrix can be “smaller” than that for the controlled system with zero input delay, which implies that the input delay can be considered as a positive factor. In addition, we give a general formula for the delayed optimal feedback control of time-variant linear systems with multiple input delays. To show the effectiveness and advantages of the main results, we present five illustrative examples with detailed numerical simulation and comparison.  相似文献

In this paper we consider the optimal control problem for a class of infinite dimensional delay evolution systems whose principal operator is the infinitesimal generator of an analytic semigroup. We give an existence result of α - solutions of the controlled systems and prove the existence of solutions for an extremal problem subject to such systems. In particular, the necessary conditions of optimality for the same problem are presented.  相似文献

In this paper, we will study an indefinite stochastic linear quadratic optimal control problem, where the controlled system is described by a stochastic differential equation with delay. By introducing the relaxed compensator as a novel method, we obtain the well-posedness of this linear quadratic problem for indefinite case. And then, we discuss the uniqueness and existence of the solutions for a kind of anticipated forward–backward stochastic differential delayed equations. Based on this, we derive the solvability of the corresponding stochastic Hamiltonian systems, and give the explicit representation of the optimal control for the linear quadratic problem with delay in an open-loop form. The theoretical results are validated as well on the control problems of engineering and economics under indefinite condition.  相似文献

This paper proposes iterative learning control (ILC) for linear discrete delay systems with randomly varying trial lengths without knowing prior information on the probability distribution of random iteration length. Based on matrix delayed exponential function approach, an explicit solution to the linear discrete delay controlled systems is used to generate a sequence of outputs that approximate the desired reference by adopting two ILC update laws in the presence of randomly iteration-varying lengths. A new and direct mathematical technique is explored to deal with ILC for linear discrete delay systems. Two illustrative examples are provided to verify the theoretical results.  相似文献

We consider a certain type of second-order neutral delay differential systems and we establish two results concerning the oscillation of solutions after the system undergoes controlled abrupt perturbations (called impulses). As a matter of fact, some particular non-impulsive cases of the system are oscillatory already. In this paper, we consider the periodic solution problems for the systems with unbounded delay, and the existence, uniqueness and stability of the periodic solution are dealt with unitedly. First we establish the suitable delay-differential inequality, then study seperately the problems of periodic solution for the systems with bounded delay, with unbounded delay and the Volterra integral-differential systems with infinite delay by using the character of matrix measure and the asymptotic fixed point theorem of poincaré's periodic operator in the dfferent phase spaces. In this article, we investigate the effects of different types of delays, a fixed delay and a random delay, on the dynamics of stochastic systems as well as their relationship with each other in the context of a just-in-time network model. The specific example on which we focus is a pork production network model. We numerically explore the corresponding deterministic approximations for the stochastic systems with these two different types of delays. Numerical results reveal that the agreement of stochastic systems with fixed and random delays depend on the population size and the variance of the random delay, even when the mean value of the random delay is chosen the same as the value of the fixed delay. When the variance of the random delay is sufficiently small, the histograms of state solutions to the stochastic system with a random delay are similar to those of the stochastic model with a fixed delay regardless of the population size. We also compared the stochastic system with a Gamma distributed random delay to the stochastic system constructed based on the Kurtz's limit theorem from a system of deterministic delay differential equations with a Gamma distributed delay. We found that with the same population size the histogram plots for the solution to the second system appear more dispersed than the corresponding ones obtained for the first case. In addition, we found that there is more agreement between the histograms of these two stochastic systems as the variance of the Gamma distributed random delay decreases.  相似文献

Time delays are many sources of complex behavior in dynamical systems. Yet its relationship with bursting dynamics needs to be further explored, particularly when the strength of feedback is a nonlinear function of delay. In this paper, we analyze the dynamics of the van der Pol–Duffing fast-slow oscillator controlled by the parametric delay feedback, where the strength of feedback control is a function exponential varying with the time delay. The system may exhibit a unique equilibrium point and three ones for the different parameters by employing the pitchfork bifurcation. Next, the stability-switches and the Hopf bifurcation curves are presented as the delay varies, which leads to the occurrence of novel bursting phenomena. Some weak resonant or non-resonant double Hopf bursting oscillations are presented due to the vanishing of real parts of two pairs of characteristic roots. Not only the magnitude of the time delay itself but also the strength of feedback control may influence the dynamical evolution process of bursting behaviors in the delayed system. Such fast-slow forms about bursting dynamics, as well as classifications about local dynamics are investigated. Furthermore, periodic and quasi-periodic bursting motions are verified in both theoretical and numerical ways.  相似文献

We consider optimal control problems for systems described by stochastic differential equations with delay. We state conditions for certain classes of such systems under which the stochastic control problems become finite-dimensional. These conditions are illustrated with three applications. First, we solve some linear quadratic problems with delay. Then we find the optimal consumption rate in a financial market with delay. Finally, we solve explicitly a deterministic fluid problem with delay which arises from admission control in ATM communication networks.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the qualitative properties of linear and nonlinear delay switched systems which have stable and unstable subsystems. First, we prove some inequalities which lead to the switching laws that guarantee: (a) the global exponential stability to linear switched delay systems with stable and unstable subsystems; (b) the local exponential stability of nonlinear switched delay systems with stable and unstable subsystems. In addition, these switching laws indicate that if the total activation time ratio among the stable subsystems, unstable subsystems and time delay is larger than a certain number, the switched systems are exponentially stable for any switching signals under these laws. In this article, we study the exponential stability of singularly perturbed systems with time delay.
