In this note we will present a stability property of the reverse isoperimetric inequality newly obtained in [S.L. Pan, H. Zhang, A reverse isoperimetric inequality for convex plane curves, Beiträge Algebra Geom. 48 (2007) 303-308], which states that if K is a convex domain in the plane with perimeter p(K) and area a(K), then one gets , where denotes the oriented area of the domain enclosed by the locus of curvature centers of the boundary curve ∂K, and the equality holds if and only if K is a circular disc.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the stability analysis in variational inequality. We obtain some stability results for variational inequality with both the mapping and the set that are perturbed in reflexive Banach spaces, provided that the mappings are pseudomonotone in the sense of Karamardian. The stability is also discussed for the Minty variational inequality as the mappings are properly quasimonotone. The results in this paper generalized some known results in this area.  相似文献

In this paper, a key assumption is introduced by virtue of a parametric gap function. Then, by using the key assumption, sufficient conditions of the continuity and Hausdorff continuity of a solution set map for a parametric weak vector variational inequality are obtained in Banach spaces with the objective space being finite-dimensional.  相似文献

We discuss the analogue in the Brunn-Minkowski theory of the inequalities of Marcus-Lopes and Bergstrom about symmetric functions of positive reals and determinants of symmetric positive matrices respectively. We obtain a local version of the Aleksandrov-Fenchel inequality which relates the quermassintegrals of a convex body to those of an arbitrary hyperplane projection of . This paper is concerned with the stability for a generalized Ky Fan inequality when it is perturbed by vector-valued bifunction sequence and set sequence. By continuous convergence of the bifunction sequence and Painlevé–Kuratowski convergence of the set sequence, we establish the Painlevé–Kuratowski convergence of the approximate solution mappings of a family of perturbed problems to the corresponding solution mapping of the original problem. Our main results are new and different from the ones in the literature.  相似文献

The linear inequality method is an algorithm for discrete Chebyshev approximation by generalized rationals. Stability of the method with respect to uniform convergence is studied. Analytically, the method appears superior to all others in reliability.  相似文献

We present the proof of the weighted anisotropic Korn inequality in a three-dimensional domain with peak-shaped cusps on the boundary. We verify the asymptotic accuracy of distribution of multipliers at the components of displacement vector and their derivatives in the corresponding weighted norm. We indicate conditions on a peak cusp under which the natural energy class is not embedded into a Sobolev or Lebesgue class. In the last case, the operator of elasticity problems possesses the continuous spectrum provoking wave processes in a finite volume (“black holes” for elastic waves). In this paper we propose a new technique for the stability analysis of the coincidence set of a solution to a parabolic variational inequality with an obstacle inside the domain. A stability version of the Blaschke-Santaló inequality and the affine isoperimetric inequality for convex bodies of dimension n?3 is proved. The first step is the reduction to the case when the convex body is o-symmetric and has axial rotational symmetry. This step works for related inequalities compatible with Steiner symmetrization. Secondly, for these convex bodies, a stability version of the characterization of ellipsoids by the fact that each hyperplane section is centrally symmetric is established.  相似文献

This work compares the solutions of an th order differential inequality plus boundary conditions with the solution of the related differential equation with boundary conditions. The differential operator is assumed to be disconjugate. It is proved that under suitable conditions the ratio of these solutions is monotone. The solution of the inequality can be replaced by the corresponding Green's function.
