In this paper, the initial-value problem for integral-differential equation of the hyperbolic type in a Hilbert space H is considered. The unique solvability of this problem is established. The stability estimates for the solution of this problem are obtained. The difference scheme approximately solving this problem is presented. The stability estimates for the solution of this difference scheme are obtained. In applications, the stability estimates for the solutions of the nonlocal boundary problem for one-dimensional integral-differential equation of the hyperbolic type with two dependent limits and of the local boundary problem for multidimensional integral-differential equation of the hyperbolic type with two dependent limits are obtained. The difference schemes for solving these two problems are presented. The stability estimates for the solutions of these difference schemes are obtained.  相似文献

Summary. This paper is concerned with a high order convergent discretization for the semilinear reaction-diffusion problem: , for , subject to , where . We assume that on , which guarantees uniqueness of a solution to the problem. Asymptotic properties of this solution are discussed. We consider a polynomial-based three-point difference scheme on a simple piecewise equidistant mesh of Shishkin type. Existence and local uniqueness of a solution to the scheme are analysed. We prove that the scheme is almost fourth order accurate in the discrete maximum norm, uniformly in the perturbation parameter . We present numerical results in support of this result. In this paper we are concerned with the pricing of lookback options with American type constrains. Based on the differential linear complementary formula associated with the pricing problem, an implicit difference scheme is constructed and analyzed. We show that there exists a unique difference solution which is unconditionally stable. Using the notion of viscosity solutions, we also prove that the finite difference solution converges uniformly to the viscosity solution of the continuous problem. Furthermore, by means of the variational inequality analysis method, the O(△t + △x^2)-order error estimate is derived in the discrete L2-norm provided that the continuous problem is sufficiently regular. In addition, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper introduces a new type of constraints, related to schedule synchronization, in the problem formulation of aircraft fleet assignment and routing problems and it proposes an optimal solution approach. This approach is based on Dantzig–Wolfe decomposition/column generation. The resulting master problem consists of flight covering constraints, as in usual applications, and of schedule synchronization constraints. The corresponding subproblem is a shortest path problem with time windows and linear costs on the time variables and it is solved by an optimal dynamic programming algorithm. This column generation procedure is embedded into a branch and bound scheme to obtain integer solutions. A dedicated branching scheme was devised in this paper where the branching decisions are imposed on the time variables. Computational experiments were conducted using weekly fleet routing and scheduling problem data coming from an European airline. The test problems are solved to optimality. A detailed result analysis highlights the advantages of this approach: an extremely short subproblem solution time and, after several improvements, a very efficient master problem solution time.  相似文献

We deal with a common fixed point problem for a family of quasinonexpansive mappings defined on a Hilbert space with a certain closedness assumption and obtain strongly convergent iterative sequences to a solution to this problem. We propose a new type of iterative scheme for this problem. A feature of this scheme is that we do not use any projections, which in general creates some difficulties in practical calculation of the iterative sequence. We also prove a strong convergence theorem by the shrinking projection method for a family of such mappings. These results can be applied to common zero point problems for families of monotone operators.  相似文献

We introduce a type of full multigrid method for the nonlinear eigenvalue problem. The main idea is to transform the solution of the nonlinear eigenvalue problem into a series of solutions of the corresponding linear boundary value problems on the sequence of finite element spaces and nonlinear eigenvalue problems on the coarsest finite element space. The linearized boundary value problems are solved by some multigrid iterations. Besides the multigrid iteration, all other efficient iteration methods for solving boundary value problems can serve as the linear problem solver. We prove that the computational work of this new scheme is truly optimal, the same as solving the linear corresponding boundary value problem. In this case, this type of iteration scheme certainly improves the overfull efficiency of solving nonlinear eigenvalue problems. Some numerical experiments are presented to validate the efficiency of the new method.  相似文献

In this paper we construct a new type of symmetrical dissipative difference scheme. Except discontinuity these schemes have uniformly second-order accuracy. For calculation using these, the simple-wave is very exact, the shock has high resolution, the programing is simple and the CPU time is economical. Since the paper [1] introduced that in some conditions Lax-Wendroff scheme would converge to nonphysical solution, many researchers have discussed this problem. According to preserving the monotonicity of the solution preserving monotonial schemes and TVD schemes have been introduced by Harten, et. According to property of hyperbolic wave propagation the schemes of split-coefficient matrix (SCM) and split-flux have been formed. We emphasize the dissipative difference scheme, and these schemes are dissipative on arbitrary conditions.  相似文献
