This paper deals with entire solutions of periodic lattice dynamical systems. Unlike homogeneous problems, the periodic equation studied here lacks symmetry between increasing and decreasing pulsating traveling fronts, which affects the construction of entire solutions. In the bistable case, the existence, uniqueness and Liapunov stability of entire solutions are proved by constructing different sub- and supersolutions. In the monostable case, the existence and asymptotic behavior of spatially periodic solutions connecting two steady states are first established. Some new types of entire solutions are then constructed by combining leftward and rightward pulsating traveling fronts with different speeds and a spatially periodic solution. Various qualitative features of the entire solutions are also investigated.  相似文献

In this paper a generalization of the delayed exponential defined by Khusainov and Shuklin (2003) [1] for autonomous linear delay systems with one delay defined by permutable matrices is given for delay systems with multiple delays and pairwise permutable matrices. Using this multidelay-exponential a solution of a Cauchy initial value problem is represented. By an application of this representation and using Pinto’s integral inequality an asymptotic stability results for some classes of nonlinear multidelay differential equations are proved.  相似文献

In this paper we study the quadratic homogeneous perturbations of the 3-dimensional May–Leonard system with α+β=2α+β=2. It is shown that there are perturbed systems having exactly one or two limit cycles bifurcated from the periodic orbits of May–Leonard system. This is proved by estimating the number of zeros of the first and the second order Melnikov functions.  相似文献

The Darbouxian theory of integrability allows to determine when a polynomial differential system in has a first integral of the kind f1λ1?fpλpexp(g/h) where fi, g and h are polynomials in , and for i=1,…,p. The functions of this form are called Darbouxian functions. Here, we solve the inverse problem, i.e. we characterize the polynomial vector fields in having a given Darbouxian function as a first integral.On the other hand, using information about the degree of the invariant algebraic curves of a polynomial vector field, we improve the conditions for the existence of an integrating factor in the Darbouxian theory of integrability.  相似文献

In this paper we mainly study the necessary conditions for the existence of functionally independent generalized rational first integrals of ordinary differential systems via the resonances. The main results extend some of the previous related ones, for instance the classical Poincaré?s one (Poincaré, 1891, 1897 [16]), the Furta?s one (Furta, 1996 [8]), part of Chen et al.?s ones (Chen et al., 2008 [4]), and the Shi?s one (Shi, 2007 [18]). The key point in the proof of our main results is that functionally independence of generalized rational functions implies the functionally independence of their lowest order rational homogeneous terms.  相似文献

We discuss planar polynomial vector fields with prescribed Darboux integrating factors, in a nondegenerate affine geometric setting. We establish a reduction principle which transfers the problem to polynomial solutions of certain meromorphic linear systems, and show that the space of vector fields with a given integrating factor, modulo a subspace of explicitly known “standard” vector fields, has finite dimension. For a polynomial planar vector field of degree n?2 with generic invariant algebraic curves we show that the maximum number of algebraic limit cycles is 1+(n−1)(n−2)/2 when n is even, and (n−1)(n−2)/2 when n is odd. Furthermore, these upper bounds are reached.  相似文献

The remarkable values for polynomial vector fields in the plane having a rational first integral were introduced by Poincaré. He was mainly interested in their algebraic aspects. Here we are interested in their dynamic aspects; i.e. how they contribute to the phase portrait of the system, to its separatrices, to its singular points, etc. The relationship between remarkable values and dynamics mainly takes place through the inverse integrating factor.  相似文献

This paper deals with differential equations with discontinuous right-hand side. The concept of a solution for a discontinuous system is defined on the basis of differential inclusions using Filippov’s method. We study in particular the behaviour of solutions crossing a discontinuity surface transversally. A formula characterizing jumps of the fundamental solution matrix is derived. As an application of it, the concept of Poincaré mapping is defined for such systems.  相似文献

By a convenient reparametrization of the integral curves of a nonlinear ordinary differential equation (ODE), we are able to improve the conclusions of a recent generalization of Nagumo’s uniqueness theorem. In other words we characterize all the global phase portraits of the quadratic polynomial vector fields having all their orbits contained in conics. We introduce a class of differential equations on variable   time scales with a transition condition between two consecutive parts of the scale. Conditions for existence and uniqueness of solutions are obtained. Periodicity, boundedness and stability of solutions are considered.
