In this paper, we describe explicitly the symplectic monoid ? and its Renner monoid ? using elementary methods. We refine the Bruhat–Renner decomposition of ? and analyze in detail the length function on ?. We then show that every element of ? has a unique canonical form decomposition, which is an analogue of the canonical form of elements in Chevalley groups. We also compute the order of ? over a finite field, and as a consequence we obtain a new combinatorial identity.  相似文献

We investigate properties of the endomorphism monoid of the countable random graph R. We show that End(R) is not regular and is not generated by its idempotents. The Rees order on the idempotents of End(R) has 2N0 many minimal elements. We also prove that the order type of Q is embeddable in the Rees order of End(R).  相似文献

For a monoid M, we introduce nil-Armendariz rings relative to M, which are a generalization of nil-Armendariz and M-Armendariz rings, and investigate their properties. First we show that semicommutative rings are nil-Armendariz relative to every unique product monoid M. Also it is shown that for a strictly totally ordered monoid M and an ideal I of R, if I is a semicommutative subrng of R and R/I nil-Armendariz relative to M, then R is nil-Armendariz relative to M. Then we show that if R is a semicommutative ring and nil-Armendariz relative to M, then R is nil-Armendariz relative to M × N, where N is a unique product monoid. As corollaries we obtain some results of [2] and [10].  相似文献

A monoid structure on families of representations of a quiveris introduced by taking extensions of representations in families,that is, subvarieties of the varieties of representations. Thestudy of this monoid leads to interesting interactions betweenrepresentation theory, algebraic geometry and quantum grouptheory. For example, it produces a wealth of interesting examplesof families of quiver representations, which can be analysedby representation-theoretic and geometric methods. Conversely,results from representation theory, in particular A. For a monoid M, we introduce M-McCoy rings, which are a generalization of McCoy rings and M-Armendariz rings; and investigate their properties. We first show that all reversible rings are right M-McCoy, where M is a u.p.-monoid. We also show that all right duo rings are right M-McCoy, where M is a strictly totally ordered monoid. Then we show that semicommutative rings and 2-primal rings do have a property close to the M-McCoy condition. Moreover, it is shown that a finitely generated Abelian group G is torsion free if and only if there exists a ring R such that R is G-McCoy. Consequently, several known results on right McCoy rings are extended to a general setting.  相似文献

A ring R is called an M-quasi-Armendariz ring (a quasi-Armendariz ring relative to a monoid M) if whenever elements α = a 1 g 1 + a 2 g 2 + ··· + a n g n , β = b 1 h 1 + b 2 h 2 + ··· + b m h m  ? R[M] satisfy α R[M]β = 0, then a i Rb j  = 0 for each i, j. After discussing some basic properties of M-quasi-Armendariz rings, we consider the influence of transformation of the monoid M and the ring R on this property. Particularly, we give some sufficient conditions for the monoids M, N, and the ring R under which R is M × N-quasi-Armendariz if and only if R is M-quasi-Armendariz and N-quasi-Armendariz.  相似文献

对于幺半群~$M$, 本文引入了~$M$-McCoy~环.~证明了~$R$~是~$M$-McCoy~环当且仅当~$R$~上的~$n$~阶上三角矩阵环~$aUT_n(R)$~是~$M$-McCoy~环;得到了若~$R$~是~McCoy~环,~$R[x]$~是~$M$-McCoy~环,则~$R[M]$~是~McCoy~环;对于包含无限循环子半群的交换可消幺半群~$M$,证明了若~$R$~是~$M$-McCoy~环,则半群环~$R[M]$~是~McCoy~环及~$R$~上的多项式环~$R[x]$~是~$M$-McCoy~环.  相似文献

A hypersubstitution of type (n) is a map which takes the n-ary operation symbol f to an n-ary term (f). Any such can be inductively extended to a map on the set of all terms of type (n), and any two such extensions can be composed in a natural way. Thus, the set Hyp(n) of all hypersubstitutions of type (n) forms a monoid. For n = 2, many properties of this monoid were described by Denecke and Wismath [5]. In this paper, we study the semigroup properties of Hyp(n) for arbitrary n 2. In this paper, we consider the generalized affine transformation monoid Gaff (A/I) of a residue class ring A/I of a commutative ring A with identity modulo its nonzero ideal I. For the general case, we investigate the Green's relations, Schutzenberger group for every D-class and, the structure of group H-classes, regular D-classes, the idempotent set E(Gaff (A/I)) and the regular element set Reg (Gaff (A/I)) of Gaff (A/I). If A is an integral domain and I a product of powers of invertible maximal ideals, we show that Gaff (A/I) is an epigroup, every R-classes of Gaff (A/I) is a nil-extension of a right group and that Gaff (A/I) is a complete lattice of nil-extensions of right groups.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to study the homology theory of partial monoid actions and apply it to computing the homology groups of mathematical models for concurrency. We study the Baues–Wirsching homology groups of a small category associated with a partial monoid action on a set. We prove that these groups can be reduced to the Leech homology groups of the monoid. For a trace monoid with a partial action on a set, we build a complex of free Abelian groups for computing the homology groups of this small category. It allows us to solve the problem posed by the author on the construction of an algorithm to computing the homology groups of elementary Petri nets. We describe the algorithm and give examples of computing the homology groups.  相似文献
