北京大学3.5-cell直流超导(DC-SRF)光阴极注入器需要一台连续波功率20kW的1.3GHz微波功率源。为此北京大学和北京北广科技股份有限公司联合研制了一台由88个放大模块组成的固态微波功率放大器,这是国内首台L波段连续波大功率固态功率源。在简要介绍这台微波功率放大器设计的基础上,主要描述其调试过程和重要参数检测并着重讨论了全反射问题。测试结果显示这台功率源的各项参数均达到设计指标,在输出功率20kW时的效率为34%,增益大于85dB;在整个功率输出范围其增益和相移的变化分别为1.6dB和9.5°。目前这台功率源已在DC-SRF光阴极注入器调试运行中稳定工作超过2000h。  相似文献

针对kW级微波驱动的锁相GW高功率微波,设计了一个高增益(大于50 dB)四腔相对论速调管放大器(RKA)。模拟表明,在此条件下高次模振荡严重影响器件的锁相实现。由此,将RKA结构与正反馈振荡电路结合起来,建立相应的等效电路来研究这种高次模激励的物理过程(即高次模的激励与中间腔之间耦合强度的相关性)。在高次模振荡的等效电路(即正反馈振荡电路)中,用衰减电阻代替结构中的微波吸收层来研究高次模振荡的抑制机理,衰减电阻通过对反馈过程的控制,提高了电路的自激振荡起振电流。在结构上按照衰减电阻要求设计了微波吸收层,将高次模振荡的起振电流提高到大于器件的工作电流,实现了高增益(约60 dB)条件下高次模激励的抑制。模拟获得了4 kW微波功率驱动的2.3 GW锁相高功率微波,增益接近60 dB。在LTD加速器平台的实验结果表明:注入微波由固态RF种子源提供(功率10 kW),输出功率达到1.8 GW,增益为52.6 dB,90 ns内输入和输出微波的相对相位差小于±10°,实验上实现了kW级注入微波对GW高功率微波的相位锁定。  相似文献

ADS注入器Ⅰ高频四极场(RFQ)功率源系统将为325MHz RFQ提供连续波功率,使束流离开RFQ时,其能量达到几MeV。功率源系统除了补偿RFQ腔耗外,还必须提供足够的功率以保证RFQ中的加速电场。ADS注入器ⅠRFQ功率源系统主要包括600kW连续波速调管、80kV/18A基于脉冲步进调制技术的PSM电源、环流器以及相应的波导传输系统等。根据ADS总体指标和RFQ的相关技术参数,提出了功率源的总体布局、技术指标以及设计要求等,在此基础上完成系统安装与调试,并通过专家组测试与验收。  相似文献

针对传统大功率Si,GaAs固态微波源效率低和高温度性能差的不足,采用导热系数优良的宽禁带GaN单元功放模块集成、低损耗同轴波导径向空间功率合成方法,研制出一种1.2kW全固态C波段高效率宽禁带GaN微波源。实验结果表明:该方法实现了大功率固态微波源高效率及连续长时间高温风冷散热运行,系统安全可靠。单路功放模块集成6位移相器,移相精度5.6°,增益35dB,输出功率大于31W。系统连续波输出功率1.2kW,总效率30%,谐波抑制-54.8dBc;杂散-63.69dBc,相位噪声-94.03dBc/Hz@1kHz。  相似文献

在器件设计上,针对低功率驱动的高功率微波放大器或高增益放大器中的高次模激励和自激振荡问题,采取了降低电子束同器件前端结构耦合等措施,来保证器件在工作区间完全处于放大状态,通过PIC模拟,设计了低功率驱动的S波段高功率微波放大器(电子束:流强7.5 kA,电子能量750 kV),注入微波6.8 kW时,模拟微波输出功率1.7 GW,增益53.9 dB.在Sinus加速器平台上开展了相应的实验研究: 注入微波62 kW时,微波输出功率达到2.04 GW(电子束:流强8 kA,电子能量800 kV), 输出频率 关键词: 高功率微波 微波器件 高增益 模式控制  相似文献

介绍了用于合肥光源800 MeV电子储存环高频系统的204 MHz,40 kW固态发射机的研制进展。该发射机为双塔结构,由130个330 W功放模块进行三级合成。其关键部件的样件包括10路功放和2.5kW八合一,20 kW八合一以及40 kW二合一功率合成器各1件的制作和测试已完成。测得各合成器输出端驻波比不超过1.05,功放模块的增益达到26 dB,幅相偏差小于0.1 dB和5°,达到设计要求。  相似文献

基于自主研发的大模场增益光纤和无源器件,采用双端抽运技术,搭建了一台全国产化10 kW光纤激光器,实现了非线性效应抑制。该激光器的功率放大器的输出功率达到10.14 kW,中心波长为1070.36 nm,3 dB光谱带宽为5.32 nm。其主放大级最大光-光转换效率为87.8%,斜率效率为89.2%,成为目前国内报道的效率最高的10 kW级光纤激光器。  相似文献

分析了同轴腔体间隙束流与电场的相互作用,推导了同轴腔体间隙的耦合系数和电子负载电导,并设计了104 W级注入微波驱动的X波段三重轴相对论速调管放大器,产生了GW级的微波功率输出.通过三维粒子模拟,设计了工作频率为9.37 GHz的三重轴相对论速调管放大器,在注入微波功率为70 kW、束压为600 kV、束流为5 kA的条件下,获得的输出微波功率达到1.1 GW,效率为37%,增益为42 dB. 关键词: 同轴腔体 束波互作用 X波段 三重轴相对论速调管放大器  相似文献

 北京大学射频超导实验室设计了新型超导光电子枪——DC-SC光阴极注入器,目标是为自由电子激光平台提供能量在2~3MeV,脉宽小于10ps,脉冲重复频率为81.25MHz,平均流强约为1mA的低发射度电子束。现在已经建成了DC-SC光阴极注入器实验平台,包括激光驱动光阴极系统,Pierce直流高压加速结构,1.3GHz 1+1/2纯铌超导腔,恒温器低温系统,4.5kW连续波微波系统,1/16分频与同步控制系统,束流诊断系统和能量分析系统等。并且完成了超导腔的静态实验,直流加速结构也经过了100μA低电流测试。实验结果符合设计要求,整体调试后即可以进行束载实验。  相似文献

We demonstrate the generation of nanosecond and multikilowatt peak-power pulses in a double-clad Yb-doped fiber amplifier seeded by a spectrally narrowed gain-switched laser diode. Injected pulses with 100 ns duration were simultaneously compressed and amplified by the combination of high amplifier gain and stimulated Brillouin scattering. A maximum peak power of 20 kW has been obtained, corresponding to a single-pass gain of +57 dB in terms of peak power. Part of this output signal was also converted into IR continuum light by splicing a length of single-mode fiber at the end of the fiber amplifier.  相似文献

在回旋速调放大器自洽非线性大信号理论分析和数值计算的基础上,给出了一支Kα波段TE01模4腔基波回旋速调放大器的设计方案,并完成了样管的研制.同时对样管进行了热测实验,得到了如下实验结果:注电压为70 kV,电流为10 A,输入功率为60 W,磁场强度1.31 T,中心频率34 GHz,峰值功率245 kW,平均功率大于3 kW,增益36.1 dB,效率 35%,3 dB带宽大于280 MHz. 关键词: 回旋速调放大器 注-波互作用 群聚腔 输入腔  相似文献

 根据谐波回旋速调管放大器的注-波互作用特点,对Ka波段二次谐波三腔回旋速调管放大器的输出腔进行了数值模拟和优化设计,获得了输出腔末端高频波绕射输出孔径和腔体绕射Q值的对应关系。通过PIC粒子模拟,分析了该放大器的频率响应特点等输出特性。结果表明,在35 GHz频率,磁场0.685 T,电子注电压70 kV,电流15 A,横纵速度比为1.45,输入功率1.6 kW时,放大器可以获得超过220 kW的峰值输出功率、约22%的效率和23 dB的增益,3 dB带宽可达到110 MHz。  相似文献

We present a novel design of a compact, stable, and easy-adjustable semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) system. This SOA system is capable of providing up to 560-roW laser power at the wavelength of 852 nm. For the continuous-wave (CW) seeding laser, the amplification gain can reach 18 dB. We add amplitude modulation onto the CW laser and measure the modulation amplification between seeding and output laser. The amplification gain remains constant within the frequency range from 10 Hz to 1 MHz. The whole system could work in ultra-stable condition: for CW seeding laser, the fluctuation of output power is less than 0.33% in several hours.  相似文献

A fundamental-mode TE111° two-cavity intense-beam gyroklystron amplifier experiment, operating at an accelerating voltage of 1 MV, is reported. The two cavities that were tested are designed to serve as bunching cavities for a high-power output cavity. The two-cavity amplifier has demonstrated a linear gain of 15 dB and an unsaturated output power of ~40 kW, with the intracavity gain and power ~4 dB higher. The frequency of the second cavity has been found to track the frequency of the driven cavity over a range of 300 MHz around a center frequency of 35 GHz. Stable amplifier operation was achieved with beam currents as large as 150 A and a velocity pitch ratio of 0.36. The stable operating range was limited by spurious oscillation in the TE112° mode. Theoretical calculations indicate that higher gains might be attainable if this mode could be suppressed  相似文献

The preliminary design of a Ka-band, second harmonic, three cavities gyroklystron amplifier is presented. The beam-wave interaction in the second harmonic gyroklystron amplifier is studied by using a particle-in-cell code, and the validity of the design of the microwave circuit is also discussed. The results show that this gyroklystron can produce an output peak power of over 200kW with 20dB gain and 20% maximum efficiency at 35GHz.  相似文献

The self-consistent nonlinear theory of two-cavity high-harmonic gyroklystron amplifier has been developed. The efficiency and gain of a second-harmonic gyroklystron were calculated numerically. The results obtained were used to choose the optimal parameters of the experimental second-harmonic tube. The experimental study was carried out to test high-harmonic amplifier concept. Two-cavity 35 GHz second harmonic gyroklystron with the TE021 cavity mode has been designed and tested in pulse operation. Output power of about 260 kW with efficiency 18% and 17 dB gain have been produced at 72 kV beam voltage and 20 A beam current. Bandwidth of about 0.1% has been observed. The restriction of the output power, efficiency, and gain was caused by spurious oscillations excited in the second cavity in the TE011 mode at the fundamental cyclotron frequency  相似文献

The inverted gyrotwystron (phigtron) is a millimeter wave frequency-doubling amplifier that has been demonstrated to produce over 300 kW peak power at twice the input frequency (centered at fin =16.85 GHz and fout=33.7 GHz) over a 0.5% bandwidth with a saturated gain of 30 dB and efficiency greater than 35%. The device has also been studied both theoretically and experimentally in a different operating regime where frequency-doubled, phase-locked oscillation is possible. A signal, injected via a fundamental gyro-traveling wave tube input section, modulated a 55 kV, 10 A electron beam. After transit through a drift section, the prebunched electron beam produced phase-locked, second harmonic oscillations in a TE03 mode output cavity. RF output centered at either of two frequencies, 34.42 and 34.62 GHz, with a maximum output power of 180 kW, an efficiency of 32% and a locked signal gain of 35 dB was measured. A theoretical prediction of locking bandwidth, a design overview, and the experimental results are presented followed by a summary and discussion of the results  相似文献
