Let p ∈ {1, ∞}. We show that any continuous linear operator T from A1 (a) to Ap (b) is tame, i.e., there exists a positive integer c such that sup x||Tx||k/|x|ck ∞ for every k ∈ N. Next we prove that a similar result holds for operators from A∞(a) to Ap(b) if and only if the set Mb,a of all finite limit points of the double sequence (bi /aj ) i,j∈N is bounded. Finally we show that the range of every tame operator from A∞(a) to A∞(b) has a Schauder basis.  相似文献

A bounded linear operator T on a complex Hilbert space H is called(n, k)-quasi-*-paranormal if ║T~(1+n)(T~kx) ║~(1/(1+n))║ T~kx║~(n/(1+n))≥║ T*(T~kx)║ for all x ∈ H,where n, k are nonnegative integers. This class of operators has many interesting properties and contains the classes of n-*-paranormal operators and quasi-*-paranormal operators. The aim of this note is to show that every Riesz idempotent E_λ with respect to a non-zero isolated spectral point λ of an(n, k)-quasi-*-paranormal operator T is self-adjoint and satisfies ran E_λ= ker(T- λ) = ker(T- λ)*.  相似文献

On the Equivalence and Generalized of Weyl Theorem Weyl Theorem   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
We know that an operator T acting on a Banach space satisfying generalized Weyl's theorem also satisfies Weyl's theorem. Conversely we show that if all isolated eigenvalues of T are poles of its resolvent and if T satisfies Weyl's theorem, then it also satisfies generalized Weyl's theorem. We give also a sinlilar result for the equivalence of a-Weyl's theorem and generalized a-Weyl's theorem. Using these results, we study the case of polaroid operators, and in particular paranormal operators.  相似文献

In this paper, with the help of spectral integral, we show a quantitative version of the Bishop-Phelps theorem for operators in complex Hilbert spaces. Precisely, let H be a complex Hilbert space and 0 ε 1/2. By an elementary proof, we use a result of Conway and Dudziak to show that if A is a hyponormal operator with spectral radius r(A) such that its spectrum is the closed disc {z:|z| ≤ r(A)} then A is reflexive. Using this result, we give a simple proof of a result of Bercovici, Foias, and Pearcy on reflexivity of shift operators. Also, it is shown that every power of an invertible bilateral weighted shift is reflexive.  相似文献

We establish a Dahlberg-type perturbation theorem for second order divergence form elliptic operators with complex coefficients. In our previous paper, we showed the following result: If L_0 = div A~0(x)? + B~0(x) · ? is a p-elliptic operator satisfying the assumptions of Theorem 1.1 then the LpDirichlet problem for the operator L_0 is solvable in the upper half-space Rn+. In this paper we prove that the Lpsolvability is stable under small perturbations of L_0. That is if L_1 is another divergence form elliptic operator with complex coefficients and the coefficients of the operators L_0 and L_1 are sufficiently close in the sense of Carleson measures, then the LpDirichlet problem for the operator L_1 is solvable for the same value of p. As a corollary we obtain a new result on Lpsolvability of the Dirichlet problem for operators of the form L = div A(x)? + B(x) · ? where the matrix A satisfies weaker Carleson condition(expressed in term of oscillation of coefficients). In particular the coefficients of A need no longer be differentiable and instead satisfy a Carleson condition that controls the oscillation of the matrix A over Whitney boxes. This result in the real case has been established by Dindoˇs,Petermichl and Pipher.  相似文献

In this paper, we study various properties of algebraic extension of *-A operator.Specifically, we show that every algebraic extension of *-A operator has SVEP and is isoloid.And if T is an algebraic extension of *-A operator, then Weyl's theorem holds for f(T), where f is an analytic functions on some neighborhood of σ(T) and not constant on each of the components of its domain.  相似文献

A pair of Banach spaces(X, Y) is said to be stable if for every ε-isometry f :X → Y, there exist γ 0 and a bounded linear operator T : L(f) → X with ||T|| ≤α such that ||T f(x)-x|| ≤γε for all x ∈ X, where L(f) is the closed linear span of f(X). In this article, we study the stability of a pair of Banach spaces(X, Y) when X is a C(K) space.This gives a new positive answer to Qian's problem. In the present paper, a problem of Ioana Mihaila is negatively answered on the invertibility of composition operators on Riemann surfaces, and it is proved that the composition operator Cp is Predholm if and only if it is invertible if and only if p is invertible for some special cases. In addition, the Toeplitz operators on ∧1 2, a(M) for Riemann surface M are defined and some properties of these operators are discussed.  相似文献

In this paper we study the isometric extension problem and show that every surjective isometry between the unit spheres of Lp (μ) (1 p ∞, p≠2) and a Banach space E can be extended to a linear isometry from Lp(μ) onto E, which means that if the unit sphere of E is (metrically) isometric to the unit sphere of Lp(μ), then E is linearly isometric to Lp(μ). We also prove that every surjective 1-Lipschitz or anti-1-Lipschitz map between the unit spheres of Lp (μ1, H1) and Lp(μ2,H2) must be an isometry and can be extended to a linear isometry from Lp (μ1,H1) to Lp (μ2,H2), where H1 and H2 are Hilbert spaces.  相似文献

Let X be a weakly Cauchy normed space in which the parallelogram law holds, C be a bounded closed convex subset of X with one contracting point and T be an {a, b, c}-generalized-nonexpansive mapping from C into C. We prove that the infimum of the set { ||x-T(x)|| } on C is zero, study some facts concerning the {a,b,c}-generalized-nonexpansive mapping and prove that the asymptotic center of any bounded sequence with respect to C is singleton. Depending on the fact that the {a,b,0}-generalized-nonexpansive mapping from C into C has fixed points, accordingly, another version of the Browder ’s strong convergence theorem for mappings is given.  相似文献

Let T be a Banach space operator, E(T) be the set of all isolated eigenvalues of T and π(T) be the set of all poles of T. In this work, we show that Browder's theorem for T is equivalent to the localized single-valued extension property at all complex numbers λ in the complement of the Weyl spectrum of T, and we give some characterization of Weyl's theorem for operator satisfying E(T) = π(T). The authors study the singular integral operator TΩ,αf(x)=p.v.∫R^nb(|y|Ω(y′)|y|^-n-αf(x-y)dy, defined on all test functions f, where b is a bounded function, α>0, Ω(y′) is an integrable function on the unit sphere S^n-1 satisfying certain cancellation conditions. It is proved that, for n/(n α)<p<∞,TΩ,α is a bounded operator from the Hardy-Sobolev space H^pα to the Hardy space H^p. The results and its applications improve some theorems in a previous paper of the author and they are extensions of the main theorems in Wheeden‘s paper(1969). The proof is based on a new atomic decomposition of the space H^pα by Han, Paluszynski and Weiss(1995). By using the same proof,the singluar integral operators with variable kernels are also studied.  相似文献
