为了分析激光辐照下反射镜热变形对光束质量的影响, 本文建立了激光光束45°角入射时镀铬介质高吸收镜的热固耦合模型, 对不同辐照光束下反射镜的热变形和镜体厚度对热变形的影响进行了分析, 并用哈特曼波前传感器对自由边界条件下的镜面热变形进行了检测。结果表明:吸收功率在0.085~0.185 W时, 镜面热变形随吸收功率的增加近似线性增加, 随辐照光斑的增加而减小;反射镜厚度在1~5 mm范围, 镜面热变形基本不变。在激光照射的初始阶段, 反射镜表面温度和热变形迅速增加, 在激光连续照射20 s后, 镜面温度增加量逐步变缓, 镜面热变形则在1 s以内就上升至0.27 μm, 之后变形量缓慢增加, 在100 s后达到相对稳定状态;关闭激光后, 镜面在120 s后恢复到初始状态。分析表明, 产生误差的因素主要为光斑大小和辐照光束入射角度。  相似文献

 应用微扰理论,对微热变形腔的激光模式进行了理论计算与分析;给出了激光模式之间的耦合以及等效光束发散角与镜面变形量之间的关系。结果表明:镜面中心处热变形量越大,模式之间的耦合越强,激光腔模式发生畸变就越严重;当镜面中心处热变形量为0.5λ时,基模TEM0的中心光强将下降50%,其等效光束发散角将增大到镜面无变形时的2倍。  相似文献

Laser beam forming has emerged as a new and very promising technique to form sheet metal by thermal residual stresses. The objective of this work is to investigate numerically the effect of rectangular beam geometries, with different transverse width to length aspect ratio, on laser bending process of thin metal sheets, which is dominated by buckling mechanism. In this paper, a comprehensive thermal and structural finite element (FE) analysis is conducted to investigate the effect that these laser beam geometries have on the process and on the final product characteristics. To achieve this, temperature distributions, deformations, plastic strains, stresses, and residual stresses produced by different beam geometries are compared. The results suggest that beam geometries play an important role in the resulting temperature distributions on the workpiece. Longer beam dimensions in the scanning direction (in relation to its lateral dimension) produce higher temperatures due to longer beam–material interaction time. This affects the bending direction and the magnitude of the bending angles. Higher temperatures produce more plastic strains and hence higher deformation. This shows that the temperature-dependent yield stress plays a more dominant role in the deformation of the plate than the spread of the beam in the transverse direction. Also, longer beams have a tendency for the scanning line to curve away from its original position to form a concave shape. This is caused by buckling which develops tensile plastic strains along both ends of the scanning path. The buckling effect produces the opposite curve profile; convex along the tranverse direction and concave along the scanning path.  相似文献

Experimental and theoretical results on second harmonic generation with fundamental beams containing both a vortex and an edge phase dislocations are reported. The 3D trajectories in the fundamental and second harmonic beams are calculated for different distances between the dislocations in the input beam. It is shown that each phase dislocation in the second harmonic beam appears as a result of the joint actions of all phase dislocations in the fundamental beam.  相似文献

 分析了高功率激光通过窗口时,引起的窗口热透镜效应及其对激光光束质量的影响。用冲量定理方法,推导了二维热传导方程的广义傅里叶级数解,然后按照平面热应力问题,运用有限元方法数值计算热变形。考虑热变形、折射率随温度变化,忽略光弹性效应,解出出光面的波前相差分布,讨论了远场光束质量。以空心环形光束为例,计算了熔融石英(SiO2)和白宝石(Al2O3)两种常用窗口的温升分布、热变形、波前相差和光束质量,分析了冷却、辐照时间、光强分布的空间梯度和各种材料参数对光束质量的影响。  相似文献

Presented in this study are the Berkovich nanoindentation-induced mechanical deformation mechanisms of metal-organic chemical-vapor deposition (MOCVD) derived GaN thin films, investigated by using the cathodoluminescence (CL) and the cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy (XTEM) techniques. The multiple “pop-in” events were observed in the load-displacement (P-h) curves and appeared to occur randomly with increasing the indentation load. These instabilities are attributed to the dislocation nucleation and propagation. CL images of nanoindentation show a very well-defined rosette structures with the hexagonal system, and clearly display the distribution of deformation-induced extended defects/dislocations which affect CL emission. By using focused ion beam (FIB) milling to accurately position the cross-section of an indented area, XTEM results demonstrate that the major plastic deformation is taking place through the propagation of dislocations. The present observations are in support to the massive dislocations activities occurring underneath the indenter during the loading cycle. No evidence of either phase transformation or formation of micro-cracking was observed by using XTEM observations. We also discuss how these features correlate with Berkovich nanoindentation-induced defects/dislocations microstructures. Finally, this study has significant implications for the extent of contact-induced damage during fabrication of GaN-based optoelectronic devices.  相似文献

A new approach is developed to measure the dynamic characteristics of metal sheet under laser shock,including deformation velocity,strain,and strain rate.The detecting laser beam is partially shaded by the target deformation induced by the laser action.A photodiode transforms the received beam intensity real time into an electrical signal which could record the process of the target deformation.The functional relation between the electrical signal and the deformation of the metal sheet is derived.The deformation curve of a thin aluminum and the velocity curve of its deformation are also obtained during the exper-iment.The results indicate that the average velocity of the elastic deformation of the target can reach 2.999×10 3 m/s in the central area.This new method provides an approach in the study of the effect of strain rate on deformation.  相似文献

Recent experiments by Kiritani et al. [1] have revealed a surprisingly high rate of vacancy production during high-speed deformation of thin foils of fcc metals. Virtually no dislocations are seen after the deformation. This is interpreted as evidence for a dislocation-free deformation mechanism at very high strain rates. We have used molecular-dynamics simulations to investigate high-speed deformation of copper crystals. Even though no pre-existing dislocation sources are present in the initial system, dislocations are quickly nucleated and a very high dislocation density is reached during the deformation. Due to the high density of dislocations, many inelastic interactions occur between dislocations, resulting in the generation of vacancies. After the deformation, a very high density of vacancies is observed, in agreement with the experimental observations. The processes responsible for the generation of vacancies are investigated. The main process is found to be incomplete annihilation of segments of edge dislocations on adjacent slip planes. The dislocations are also seen to be participating in complicated dislocation reactions, where sessile dislocation segments are constantly formed and destroyed.  相似文献

 分析了正支虚共焦非稳腔中腔镜变形对激光模式的影响,采用时间离散化、快速傅里叶变换(FFT)和有限元分析(FEA)方法解决腔镜变形和激光模式两者之间的耦合问题。计算结果表明,随着激光器工作时间的增加,腔镜温升和变形相应增大,谐振腔模式变差,输出光场相位均匀性变差,呈现散焦现象,输出光束质量下降。实验验证了激光器输出光束质量随出光时间的延长而逐渐变坏。  相似文献

When high-power annular laser beams produced by the unstable resonator pass through the volume Bragg grating (VBG), absorption of light in the VBG will induce a temperature increment, resulting in changes in surface distortion. Considering that the surface distortion of the grating induces index and period differences, the scalar wave equations for the annular laser beams propagating in the VBG have been solved numerically and iteratively using finite-difference and sparse matrix methods. The variation in intensity distributions, the total power reflection coefficient, and the power in the bucket (PIB) for the annular laser beams passing through the reflection VBG with deformation have been analyzed quantitatively. It can be shown that the surface distortion of the VBG and the beam orders of the annular beams affect evidently the intensity distributions, the power reflection coefficient, and the PIB of the output beam. The peak intensity decreases as the deformation of the VBG increases. The total power reflection efficiency decreases significantly with the increase in deformations of the VBG. The PIB of the output beam decreases as the obscuration ratio β and the deformation of the VBG increase. For the given obscuration ratio β, the influence of deformation of reflection VBG on the PIB of the annular beams is more sensitive with increase in distortion of the VBG and decrease in beam order.  相似文献

When high-power laser beams pass through a volume Bragg grating (VBG), the surface of VBG occurs distortion because of thermal effects, and it results in the decline of the grating’s performance. Considering distortion of the surface induces differences of the index and period, the scalar wave equations for super-Gaussian (SG) laser beams propagating in the reflection VBG have been solved by using finite-different and sparse matrix methods. The changes of the total power reflection coefficient, the beam width, the far-field beam angle and the M2-factor for the laser beams through the reflection VBG with deformation have been analyzed quantitatively. It can be shown that the deformation of the VBG affects evidently on the intensity and phase distributions, the total power reflection coefficient, the beam width, the far-field divergence angle and the M2-factor. The beam width, the far-field divergence angle, and the M2-factor of the output beams increase significantly with the distortions of the grating. The influence of the distortions of the VBG on the power reflection coefficient, the far-field divergence angle and the M2-factor of the output beams are smaller for higher beam orders.  相似文献

 通过对高能量密度氧碘化学激光器运行过程中存在的远场光斑漂移和变形实验现象的分析和测量,得出在高能量密度激光系统中谐振腔的各反射镜的同心度对远场输出光斑的漂移和变形影响很大。指出提高谐振腔内各反射镜在大气中的同心度及降低在激光系统抽真空过程中光腔盒的不稳定程度, 是显著降低激光远场输出光斑漂移和变形的有效途径。  相似文献

 根据高功率激光装置中强激光束传输的特点,建立了描述光束通过光学元件时引入的局部波前畸变模型,并利用纹波传输的线性化处理方法,研究了带有局部波前畸变的高强度光束的传输规律。以一个连续的非增益激光介质为例,用该模型进行数值模拟,给出了不同空间尺度的局部波前畸变的频谱分布、不同空间频率的纹波引起的振幅非线性增长曲线、不同B积分的非线性增益随光束传输距离的变化曲线,光束振幅非线性增益达到最大时光束的传输距离和标准传输距离不同时由局部波前畸变引入的振幅分布。研究表明为了防止光学元件损坏,应避免光学元件表面出现半径为0.5~2.0 mm的局部瑕疵。  相似文献

This paper summarizes and analyses our experimental results obtained on photoluminescence of AgCl crystals excited by ruby and u.v. laser in first part, and after and during deformation in second part. The influence of pressure on AgCl photoluminescence is explained by means of a qualitative model based on charged dislocations for both the elastic and plastic regions of the deformation curve.  相似文献

The transient deformation of thin grade 304 stainless steel metal sheets heated by a single pulse of a CO2 laser beam is simulated in this paper. The laser beam is assumed to be line-shaped and the problem is treated as three-dimensional thermo-elastoplastic. The temperature field, deformation pattern, stress–strain states and the residual stress distribution of the specimens have been calculated numerically and the transient response of the bending angle has been validated by experiments. Good agreement has been obtained between the numerical simulation and the experiments under various operating conditions. The numerical study reveals that a high temperature gradient exists for a positive bending angle and a low one for a negative angle. It transpires that the mechanisms of pulsed laser forming are dependent mainly upon the laser power, the heating time, the clamping arrangement, as well as the geometry, the thermal properties and the original stress states of the specimen.  相似文献

Transmission electron microscopy is used to study the dislocation structure of ordered polycrystalline Ni3(Fe, Cr) alloy after deformation at temperatures of 293, 473, 673, and 773°K. The flow stress σ is plotted as a function of the density of dislocations ρ. It is observed that there is a direct proportionality between σ and ρ1/2, which indicates that the relation τ= αGbρ1/2 is satisfied, where τ is the shear stress, G is the shear modulus, b is the Burgers vector, and α is a coefficient weakly dependent on the density of dislocations. The values of α are found for different deformation temperatures from the slope of the lines. It is found that α decreases with increasing deformation temperature. When the temperature is increased from 293 to 773°K the reduction in α is about 20% in agreement with estimates of the resistance to motion by superdislocations caused by nonconservative drag of dislocation jogs.  相似文献

The propagation model for the spectral beam combining system of five Yb-doped fiber laser beams by the volume Bragg gratings (VBGs) has been built up. Considering the surface distortion by thermal effect, the intensity of an individual beam passing through the spectral beam combining system by the VBGs with deformation has been analyzed numerically and iteratively by using finite-different and sparse matrix methods, and the intensity of combined beam has been studied by the principle of incoherent superposition. Consequently, according to the intensity second-order moments method, the M2-factor of the combined beam has been calculated. The effects of deformation of the VBGs on the intensity, the combining efficiency, the M2-factor and the power in the bucket of the combined beam have been analyzed quantitatively. It can be shown that the effects of the deformation of the VBGs on the intensity distribution of combined beam become more and more obvious with the increasing of the deformation of the VBGs. The results show that the surface distortion of the VBGs due to high-power lasers dramatically degrades both the beam quality of the combined beam and the combining efficiency of the spectral beam combining system.  相似文献
