Cr4+:YAG is a new saturable absorber for passive Q-switching. As a passive Q-switcher, it has several excellent properties, such as low saturation fluence, high damage threshold, good thermal conductivity, no degradation and so on. By using a laser-diode as pumping source and Cr4+ :YAG as passive Q switcher, the passive Q-switching run in Nd: Sr5(VO4)3F laser at 1. 065 μm is realized. The average output power, the single pulse energy, the pulse width and the repetition rate for different small-signal transmission of Cr4+:YAG and different pumping power were measured. Meanwhile, the coupling rate equations for Cr4+:YAG as passive Q-switcher were given and the experimental results agreed with the numerical solution of equations. 相似文献

利用固体可饱和吸收体砷化镓(GaAs)作为被动调Q元件,实现了激光二极管抽运平-凹腔掺钕钒酸钇(Nd:YVO4)激光调Q运转,详细测量了砷化镓被动调QNd:YVO4激光输出特性,获得脉宽15ns,重复频率470kHz,光束质量M^2=1.31的激光输出,调Q激光运转阈值为500mW,并数值求解了砷化镓被动调Q速率方程,讨论了被动调Q机理以及调Q脉冲宽度和脉冲重复频率对抽运速率的依赖关系,理论计算结果与实验结果相一致。 相似文献

The dependence of pulse repetition rate, pulse energy, and pulse width on incident pump power are measured. 报道了以Nd∶LiYF(Nd∶LYF)为增益介质、用硅酸镓镧(La3Ga5SiO14,LGS)晶体进行电光调Q的非稳腔调Q激光器的脉冲特性。Nd∶LiYF的两端按σ偏振1.053μm光的布儒斯特角切割,不需另加起偏镜,实现了单一偏振光振荡。LGS晶体电光Q开关插入损耗小(2%),抗光伤阈值高(950MW/cm2),与DKDP相比,具有不潮解等优点。当抽运能量为120J、重复率3Hz时,单脉冲输出能量为275mJ,脉冲宽度为8ns,动静比为76%,输出能量不稳定度小于3%,偏振度大于99%,光束发散角为0.7mrad。文中还对本激光器偏振特性、非稳腔设计、LiYF导热性能和热透镜效应补偿进行了分析,对LGS电光调Q开关工作性能、工作方式以及存在的问题也进行了分析。 相似文献

Hexagonal Ca5(PO4)3F, known as natural crystal fluorapatite and oldest host‐crystal for Ln3+‐lasant ions, is presented as a Raman‐active material. High‐order Raman‐induced χ(3)‐nonlinear processes are discovered in natural crystals of fluorapatite under picosecond pumping at 1.064 μm and 0.532 μm wavelength. A multitude of Stokes and anti‐Stokes components is generated in the ultraviolet, visible and near‐infrared spectral region by stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) and Raman four‐wave mixing (FWHM), resulting in a frequency comb with a width of 520 THz. The spectral lines are identified and attributed to the ν1(Ag) vibration mode of the tetrahedral [PO4] units which is related to a Raman shift of ωSRS ≈ 965 cm−1. The first Stokes steady‐state Raman gain coefficient in the near‐infrared spectral range is estimated to be >0.38 cm·GW−1. Finally, a short review of SRS‐promoting vibration modes and observed χ(3)‐ nonlinear interactions in all known SRS‐active natural crystals (minerals) is given.

报道了采用光纤耦合激光二极管(LD)模块端面抽运Nd:YVO4晶体实现高功率、高重复频率声光调Q 1342 nm波长的激光输出,以及采用考虑增益频谱分布的调Q速率方程模型仿真研究该脉冲激光器的结果.在激光器注入总功率40 W的情况下,可得到最高工作重复频率100 kHz;在50 kHz重复频率工作条件下,可得到11.0 W的平均输出功率及稳定的脉冲输出.应用与介质增益频谱相关的调Q速率方程模型对该脉冲激光器进行了仿真研究,得到了脉冲宽度、脉冲峰值功率、脉冲建立时间等计算结果,还给出了输出在频谱上的分布以及谱宽,并与实验结果进行了比较.考虑增益频谱分布的调Q速率方程模型不仅可以应用于分析、设计脉冲激光器的频谱,而且由于考虑了增益在频谱上的实际分布,基于该模型的仿真计算可以获得比传统单频调Q速率方程更为接近实际的结果. 相似文献

By using a laser-diode as pump source, a Cr4+ :YAG crystal as saturable absorber for passive Q-switch and a KTP as intracavity frequency doubling crystal, we have realized the green Q-switched laser output at 0.5295 μm from a Nd: S-FAP crystal. Output green laser characteristics, such as average power, single pulse energy, pulse width, repetition rate for different small-signal transmission of Cr4+ :YAG and different pump power, were measured. The transmission and emission spectra of a new crystal, Nd:NaY(WO4)2(Nd:NYW) have been measured. Using a Ti: Sapphire laser as the pump source, the laser performances of Nd: NYW crystals with different concentrations are compared for the first time. The Nd3 concentrations used are 1, 2, 4 and 5 at.-% . The experiments show that 2 at.-% is the optimum concentration. When the incident pump power is 575 mW, the 1. 06 μm output can reach 184 mW, corresponding to an optical to optical efficiency of 32 % . The experimental results show that the work is significant to the further research and praction application of this promising laser crystal. 相似文献
