In this paper we construct non-negative gradings on a basic Brauer tree algebra AΓ corresponding to an arbitrary Brauer tree Γ of type (m,e). We do this by transferring gradings via derived equivalence from a basic Brauer tree algebra AS, whose tree is a star with the exceptional vertex in the middle, to AΓ. The grading on AS comes from the tight grading given by the radical filtration. To transfer gradings via derived equivalence we use tilting complexes constructed by taking Green’s walk around Γ (cf. Schaps and Zakay-Illouz (2001) [17]). By computing endomorphism rings of these tilting complexes we get graded algebras. We also compute , the group of outer automorphisms that fix the isomorphism classes of simple AΓ-modules, where Γ is an arbitrary Brauer tree, and we prove that there is unique grading on AΓ up to graded Morita equivalence and rescaling.  相似文献

Let A be an artin algebra and eA an idempotent with add(eAA)=add(D(AAe)). Then a projective resolution of AeeAe gives rise to tilting complexes for A, where P(l) is of term length l+1. In particular, if A is self-injective, then is self-injective and has the same Nakayama permutation as A. In case A is a finite dimensional algebra over a field and eAe is a Nakayama algebra, a projective resolution of eAe over the enveloping algebra of eAe gives rise to two-sided tilting complexes {T(2l)}l?1 for A, where T(2l) is of term length 2l+1. In particular, if eAe is of Loewy length two, then we get tilting complexes {T(l)}l?1 for A, where T(l) is of term length l+1.  相似文献

We prove that in a 2-Calabi-Yau triangulated category, each cluster tilting subcategory is Gorenstein with all its finitely generated projectives of injective dimension at most one. We show that the stable category of its Cohen-Macaulay modules is 3-Calabi-Yau. We deduce in particular that cluster-tilted algebras are Gorenstein of dimension at most one, and hereditary if they are of finite global dimension. Our results also apply to the stable (!) endomorphism rings of maximal rigid modules of [Christof Geiß, Bernard Leclerc, Jan Schröer, Rigid modules over preprojective algebras, arXiv: math.RT/0503324, Invent. Math., in press]. In addition, we prove a general result about relative 3-Calabi-Yau duality over non-stable endomorphism rings. This strengthens and generalizes the Ext-group symmetries obtained in [Christof Geiß, Bernard Leclerc, Jan Schröer, Rigid modules over preprojective algebras, arXiv: math.RT/0503324, Invent. Math., in press] for simple modules. Finally, we generalize the results on relative Calabi-Yau duality from 2-Calabi-Yau to d-Calabi-Yau categories. We show how to produce many examples of d-cluster tilted algebras.  相似文献

Let A be a graded algebra. It is shown that the derived category of dg modules over A (viewed as a dg algebra with trivial differential) is a triangulated hull of a certain orbit category of the derived category of graded A-modules. This is applied to study derived categories of graded gentle one-cycle algebras.  相似文献

We obtain a mixed complex, simpler than the canonical one, given the Hochschild, cyclic, negative and periodic homology of a crossed product E=A#fH, where H is an arbitrary Hopf algebra and f is a convolution invertible cocycle with values in A. We actually work in the more general context of relative cyclic homology. Specifically, we consider a subalgebra K of A which is stable under the action of H, and we find a mixed complex computing the Hochschild, cyclic, negative and periodic homology of E relative to K. As an application we obtain two spectral sequences converging to the cyclic homology of E relative to K. The first one works in the general setting and the second one (which generalizes those previously found by several authors) works when f takes its values in K.  相似文献

Recollements and tilting objects   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
We study connections between recollements of the derived category D(Mod R) of a ring R and tilting theory. We first provide constructions of tilting objects from given recollements, recovering several different results from the literature. Secondly, we show how to construct a recollement from a tilting module of projective dimension one. By Nicolás and Saorín (2009) [31], every recollement of D(Mod R) is associated to a differential graded homological epimorphism λ:RS. We will focus on the case where λ is a homological ring epimorphism or even a universal localization. Our results will be employed in a forthcoming paper in order to investigate stratifications of D(Mod R).  相似文献

By the Telescope Conjecture for Module Categories, we mean the following claim: “Let R be any ring and (A,B) be a hereditary cotorsion pair in Mod-R with A and B closed under direct limits. Then (A,B) is of finite type.”We prove a modification of this conjecture with the word ‘finite’ replaced by ‘countable.’ We show that a hereditary cotorsion pair (A,B) of modules over an arbitrary ring R is generated by a set of strongly countably presented modules provided that B is closed under unions of well-ordered chains. We also characterize the modules in B and the countably presented modules in A in terms of morphisms between finitely presented modules, and show that (A,B) is cogenerated by a single pure-injective module provided that A is closed under direct limits. Then we move our attention to strong analogies between cotorsion pairs in module categories and localizing pairs in compactly generated triangulated categories.  相似文献

We show that the main results of Happel-Rickard-Schofield (1988) and Happel-Reiten-Smalø (1996) on piecewise hereditary algebras are coherent with the notion of group action on an algebra. Then, we take advantage of this compatibility and show that if G is a finite group acting on a piecewise hereditary algebra A over an algebraically closed field whose characteristic does not divide the order of G, then the resulting skew group algebra A[G] is also piecewise hereditary.  相似文献

This paper concerns finitely generated modules over Artin algebras. We introduce the notion of an IG-projective module and use this to prove that if, over such an algebra RR, each simple module is strongly Gorenstein projective, then any indecomposable RR-module is either projective or simple. We also prove that if RR is local and the simple module is IG-projective, then 1-self-orthogonal modules are projective.  相似文献

We introduce a notion of Gorenstein algebras of codimension c and demonstrate that Serre duality theory plays an essential role in the theory of derived equivalences for Gorenstein algebras.  相似文献

Let A be an Artin algebra. A pair (C,T) of A-modules is tilting provided that C and T are (finitely generated) self-orthogonal, and . Particularly, T is a tilting module if and only if (A,T) is a tilting pair. In the note, we will extend the Auslander-Reiten correspondence for tilting modules to the context of tilting pairs.  相似文献

With an aim of exploring homological algebra for weak Hopf modules, this paper investigates the HOM-functor and presents the structure theorem for endomorphism algebras of weak two-sided (A,H)-Hopf modules, and gives the duality theorem for weak “big” smash products.  相似文献

We say that an algebra A is periodic if it has a periodic projective resolution as an (A,A)-bimodule. We show that any self-injective algebra of finite representation type is periodic. To prove this, we first apply the theory of smash products to show that for a finite Galois covering BA, B is periodic if and only if A is. In addition, when A has finite representation type, we build upon results of Buchweitz to show that periodicity passes between A and its stable Auslander algebra. Finally, we use Asashiba’s classification of the derived equivalence classes of self-injective algebras of finite type to compute bounds for the periods of these algebras, and give an application to stable Calabi-Yau dimensions.  相似文献

A general notion of depth two for ring homomorphism NM is introduced. The step two centralizers A=EndNMN and in the Jones tower above NM are shown in a natural way via H-equivalence to be dual bimodules for Morita equivalent endomorphism rings, the step one and three centralizers, R=CM(N) and C=EndN-M(MNM). We show A and B to possess dual left and right R-bialgebroid structures which generalize Lu's fundamental bialgebroids over an algebra. There are actions of A and B on M and with Galois properties. If M|N is depth two and Frobenius with R a separable algebra, we show that A and B are dual weak Hopf algebras fitting into a duality-for-actions tower extending previous results in this area for subfactors and Frobenius extensions.  相似文献

In this paper we study the behavior of the Igusa–Todorov functions for Artin algebras A with finite injective dimension, and Gorenstein algebras as a particular case. We show that the ?-dimension and ψ-dimension are finite in both cases. Also we prove that monomial, gentle and cluster tilted algebras have finite ?-dimension and finite ψ-dimension.  相似文献

Let R be a ring and P be an (infinite dimensional) partial tilting module. We show that the perpendicular category of P is equivalent to the full module category where and ?R is the Bongartz complement of P modulo its P-trace. Moreover, there is a ring epimorphism φ:RS. We characterize the case when φ is a perfect localization. By [Riccardo Colpi, Alberto Tonolo, Jan Trlifaj, Partial cotilting modules and the lattices induced by them, Comm. Algebra 25 (10) (1997) 3225-3237], there exist mutually inverse isomorphisms μ and ν between the interval in the lattice of torsion classes in , and the lattice of all torsion classes in . We provide necessary and sufficient conditions for μ and ν to preserve tilting torsion classes. As a consequence, we show that these conditions are always satisfied when R is a Dedekind domain, and if P is finitely presented and R is an artin algebra, then the conditions reduce to the trivial ones, namely that each value of μ and ν contains all injectives.  相似文献

For any left R-module P with endomorphism ring S, the adjoint pair of functors PS− and HomR(P,−) induce an equivalence between the categories of P-static R-modules and P-adstatic S-modules. In particular, this setting subsumes the Morita theory of equivalences between module categories and the theory of tilting modules. In this paper we consider, more generally, any adjoint pair of covariant functors between complete and cocomplete Abelian categories and describe equivalences induced by them. Our results subsume the situations mentioned above but also equivalences between categories of comodules.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

An E-ring is a ring that is naturally isomorphic to the endomorphism ring of its additive group. E-rings with various properties have been constructed in the literature; we now consider superdecomposable E-rings. More generally, we construct superdecomposable algebras A over integral domains R, which are at the same time E(R)-algebra in the sense that the ring of R-endomorphisms of the underlying R-module structure is canonically isomorphic to A. We also establish the existence of arbitrarily large superdecomposable modules over such algebras.  相似文献
