提出了一种结构新颖的Sagnac干涉仪,分析计算了所含光纤光栅分别为均匀Bragg光栅和线 性啁啾光栅时的透射响应,得到了均匀光栅Sagnac环的解析解,发现含均匀光栅时可得到间隔均匀的通带结构,而含啁啾光纤光栅时只能得到间隔非均匀的通带结构.这两种结构都可 能有应用价值,前者可用在密集波分复用系统中,后者可用在光纤传感领域中.实验制作了 两种通带间隔不同的、通带数分别为8和16的多通带滤波器,实验证实了理论计算得到的结果.

输油管道在运行时存在着泄漏、堵塞等不安全事件,利用分布式光纤传感器检测管道泄漏、堵塞信号,可以实时检测管道沿途所发生的不安全事件.利用相关性法确定两个测试信号的延时便可计算不安全事件发生的位置.阐述了该检测方法的原理及定位方法,通过理论分析及试验表明该方法可以提高管道不安全测试的定位精度及灵敏度. 相似文献

An optical fiber twist sensor based on Sagnac single-mode optic fiber interferometer is proposed. The stress-induced birefringence of single-mode optical fiber is obtained by applying a transverse force against a short length of singlemode fiber. A high sensitivity and resolution of the twist angle measurement of 0.19 nm/° and 0.002° is achieved experimentally, respectively. A new type of all-fibre Sagnac interferometer composed of two loops
is proposed and analysed in detail. It can be used with a very long
transmission line while maintaining excellent performance
characteristics due to the automatic compensation of any
birefringence effects in the trunk fibre. Preliminary experiments at
1310~nm wavelength with a 70~km long trunk fibre demonstrated an
interference visibility as high as 98%, indicating that this

We present numerical and experimental results on a new generation fibre optic perimeter sensor based on a Sagnac and Michelson
interferometers configuration. In particular, an original signal processing scheme is presented. The sensor can detect a potential
intruder and determine its position along a protected zone. We propose a localization method that offers the inherent properties
of both interferometers. After demodulation of the signals from both interferometers, the obtained amplitude characteristic
of the Sagnac interferometer depends on a position of a disturbance along the interferometer, while amplitude characteristic
of the Michelson interferometer does not depend on this position. So, quotient of both demodulated characteristics makes it
possible to localize the disturbance. During investigations of a laboratory model of the sensor, it was possible to detect
the position of the disturbance with a resolution of about 40 m along the 6-km-long sensor. 相似文献

An optical fiber curvature sensor with low-birefringence photonic crystal fiber (PCF) based Sagnac loop is demonstrated experimentally. The low-birefringence PCF of about 40 cm long is inserted into Sagnac loop, and a section of it about 155 mm is used as the sensing element. The Sagnac output spectra under different curvatures are measured and analyzed. The results show that the wavelength shift of the transmission dip has a linear relationship with the curvature. The sensitivity of the curvature measurement of − 0.337 nm is achieved in the range of 0-9.92 m− 1. And the temperature effect of the proposed sensor is also analyzed. 相似文献

We propose a simple dual-wavelength Er-doped fiber laser configuration based on a dual-wavelength fiber Bragg grating written on the splice joint between two different fibers for wavelength-selective filter in the Sagnac loop interferometer. The wavelength separation between the adjacent lasing wavelengths is 1.12 nm and the side-mode suppression ratio (SMSR) is over 55 dB. The output power variation is less than 0.8 dB over a two-minute period. Moreover, the lasing wavelength can be effectively tuned using the thermal heating method. 相似文献

提出了一种实现全光纤多扰动测量的基于光纤萨尼亚克环的新型传感结构。该传感结构采用新型的双萨尼亚克环结构并用波分复用技术代替了传统的双光源结构,减小了系统损耗,实现了对多扰动的位置的测量。分析了传感原理,推导了数学模型,表明测量误差与解调电路的频率响应有关,并进行了单频和多频扰动的实验研究,实验证明了理论分析的正确性。 相似文献
