An existence theorem for stationary discs of strongly pseudo-convex domains in almost complex manifolds is proved. More precisely, it is shown that, for all points of a suitable neighborhood of the boundary and for any vector belonging to certain open subsets of the tangent spaces, there exists a unique stationary disc passing through that point and tangent to the given vector. This result gives a generalization of a theorem of B. Coupet, H. Gaussier and the second author, originally proved only for almost complex structures which are small deformations of an integrable one.  相似文献

We provide a general criterion for the integrability of the almost para-quaternionic structure of an almost para-quaternionic manifold of dimension 4m8 in terms of the integrability of two or three sections of the defining rank three vector bundle . We relate it with the integrability of the canonical almost complex structure of the twistor space and with the integrability of the canonical almost para-complex structure of the reflector space of . We show that the only rational homology spheres which can admit almost complex structures occur in dimensions two and six. Moreover, we provide infinitely many examples of six-dimensional rational homology spheres which admit almost complex structures, and infinitely many which do not. We then show that if a closed almost complex manifold has sum of Betti numbers three, then its dimension must be a power of two.  相似文献

We study the enumeration problem of stably complex structures on bounded flag manifolds arising from omniorientations, and determine those induced by almost complex structures. We also enumerate the stably complex structures on these manifolds which bound, therefore representing zero in the complex cobordism ring .

Summary It is shown that the outer automorphism group of a Coxeter groupW of finite rank is finite if the Coxeter graph contains no infinite bonds. A key step in the proof is to show that if the group is irreducible andΠ 1 andΠ 2 any two bases of the root system ofW, thenΠ 2 = ±ωΠ 1 for some ω εW. The proof of this latter fact employs some properties of the dominance order on the root system introduced by Brink and Howlett. We show that ifM is the total space of a holomorphic bundle with base space a simply connected homogeneous projective variety and fibre and structure group a compact complex torus, then the identity component of the automorphism group ofM acts trivially on the Dolbeault cohomology ofM. We consider a class of compact complex homogeneous spacesW, which we call generalized Hopf manifolds, which are diffeomorphic to S1 ×K/L whereK is a compact connected simple Lie group andL is the semisimple part of the centralizer of a one dimensional torus inK. We compute the Dolbeault cohomology ofW. We compute the Picard group of any generalized Hopf manifold and show that every line bundle over a generalized Hopf manifold arises from a representation of its fundamental group.  相似文献

Goppa codes are linear codes arising from algebraic curves over finite fields. Sufficient conditions are given ensuring that all automorphisms of a Goppa code are inherited from the automorphism group of the curve. In some cases, these conditions are also necessary. The cases of curves with large automorphism groups, notably the Hermitian and the Deligne-Lusztig curves, are investigated in detail. In this paper we prove that if a biplane D admits a flag-transitive automorphism group G of almost simple type with classical socle, then D is either the unique (11,5,2) or the unique (7,4,2) biplane, and GPSL 2(11) or PSL 2(7), respectively. The paper is devoted to the study of non-autonomous evolution equations: invariant manifolds, compact global attractors, almost periodic and almost automorphic solutions. We study this problem in the framework of general non-autonomous (cocycle) dynamical systems. First, we prove that under some conditions such systems admit an invariant continuous section (an invariant manifold). Then, we obtain the conditions for the existence of a compact global attractor and characterize its structure. Third, we derive a criterion for the existence of almost periodic and almost automorphic solutions of different classes of non-autonomous differential equations (both ODEs (in finite and infinite spaces) and PDEs).  相似文献
