We study harmonic interpolation of Hermite type of harmonic functions based on Radon projections with constant distances of chords. We show that the interpolation polynomials are continuous with respect to the angles and the distances. When the chords coalesce to some points on the unit circle, we prove that the interpolation polynomials tend to a Hermite interpolation polynomial at the coalescing points.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the existence of a solution to the Poisson equation on complete manifolds with positive spectrum and Ricci curvature bounded from below. We show that if a function f has decay f=O(r−1−ε) for some ε>0, where r is the distance function to a fixed point, then the Poisson equation Δu=f has a solution u with at most exponential growth.We apply this result on the Poisson equation to study the existence of harmonic maps between complete manifolds and also existence of Hermitian-Einstein metrics on holomorphic vector bundles over complete manifolds, thus extending some results of Li-Tam and Ni.Assuming moreover that the manifold is simply connected and of Ricci curvature between two negative constants, we can prove that in fact the Poisson equation has a bounded solution and we apply this result to the Ricci flow on complete surfaces.  相似文献

A simple second‐order finite difference treatment of polar coordinate singularity for Poisson equation on a disk is presented. By manipulating the grid point locations, we can successfully avoid finding numerical boundary condition at the origin so that the resulting matrix is simpler than traditional schemes. The treatments for Dirichlet and Neumann boundary problems are slightly different by adjusting the radial mesh width. Furthermore, the present discretization can be applied with slight modifications to Helmholtz‐type equations. A new approach is proposed for reconstruction of images from Radon projections. Based on Fourier expansions in orthogonal polynomials of two and three variables, instead of Fourier transforms, the approach provides a new algorithm for the computed tomography. Summary The Hasimoto transformation (relating vortex filament flow to the nonlinear Schrödinger equation) is interpreted in the context of Poisson geometry with the aid of a compact formula for its differential. In this article, a novel fast numerical computational algorithm for Poisson integral is developed by means of periodic trigonometric multiresolution analysis (PTMRA). The approximation formula of Poisson integral is derived. Subsequently, we establish some error estimates of approximation Poisson integral. Finally, several numerical results are given. This paper discusses the problem of determining an unknown source which depends only on one variable in two-dimensional Poisson equation from one supplementary temperature measurement at an internal point. The problem is ill-posed in the sense that the solution (if it exists) does not depend continuously on the data. The regularization solution is obtained by the modified regularization method. For the regularization solution, the Hölder type stability estimate between the regularization solution and the exact solution is given. This paper is devoted to discuss an inverse problem of determining an unknown source on the Poisson equation. This is a mildly ill-posed problem. Two regularization methods, one based on the mollification of the data and the other based on the modification of the ‘kernel’ of the solution, are proposed to solve this problem. The convergence estimates between the exact solution and the regularization solution are presented using a priori regularization parameter choice rule. Since this problem is mildly ill-posed, we apply a central difference regularization method to solve this problem. In this paper, a novel lattice Boltzmann model is proposed to solve the Poisson equation through modifying equilibrium distribution function. Compared with previous models, which can be viewed as the solvers to diffusion equation, the present model is a genuine solver to the Poisson equation, and the transient term derived by previous models is eliminated. A symbolic procedure for deriving various finite difference approximations for the three-dimensional Poisson equation is described. Based on the software package Mathematica, we utilize for the formulation local solutions of the differential equation and obtain the standard second-order scheme (7-point), three fourth-order finite difference schemes (15-point, 19-point, 21-point), and one sixth-order scheme (27-point).
