We study the dynamics of laminar time between successive bursts in anomalous particle flux measured at the HL-1M tokamak plasma edge.The results reveal that the flux fluctuations are self-similar in a narrow range of time scales and that their probability distribution function is not Gaussian.These properties are not consistent with those predicted by self-organized criticality(SOC)models as well as the running sand-pile SOC model developed by Hwa and Kardar.  相似文献

We study the effect of laser pulse shape on the plasma wake field driven by an intense laser beam.It is found that the modified asymmetric laser pulse shape with a sharply rising front and broad falling back,due to some nonlinear interactions of an intense laser pulse with plasmas,can significantly enhance the magnitude of the wake field.  相似文献

Starting from the continuity, temperature, and motion equations of the trapped electron fluid in general tokamak magnetic field with positive or reversed shear and the definition of Lagrangian invariant, dL/dt≡(\partialt+ u•▽)L=0, where u is convective velocity, the trapped electron dynamics is considered in the following two assumptions: (i) the turbulence is low frequency electrostatic, and (ii) L is a functional only of the density n, temperature T, and magnetic field B, and the effect of perturbation potential φ is included in the convective velocity u, i.e., u is a functional of n, T, B, and φ. The Lagrangian invariant hidden in the trapped electron dynamics is strictly found: L=ln[(n/B)c1(T/B2/3)c2], where c1 and c2 are dimensionless changeable parameters and c1∝c2. From this Lagrangian invariant the turbulent particle and electron thermal transport scaling laws are derived: 〈n>ψq(ψ)=const. and 〈T3/2>ψq(ψ)=const., which, in the limit of large aspect ratio, reduce to n(r)q(r)=const. and T3/2(r)q(r)=const., respectively. The latter two scaling laws are compared with existent experimental results, being in good agreement.  相似文献

Reynolds stress component due to magnetic turbulence was first measured in the plasma edge region of the HT-7 superconducting tokamak using an insertable magnetic probe. A radial gradient of magnetic Reynolds stress was observed to be close to the velocity shear layer location; however, in this experiment its contribution to driving the poloidal flows is small compared to the electrostatic component. The electron heat transport driven by magnetic turbulence is quite small and cannot account for the total energy transport at the plasma edge.  相似文献

A three-tip array is used in the HL-2A tokamak to investigate the spectral characteristics of electrostatic turbulence inside the last closed flux surface (LCFS) about 5 cm. Two-point correlation techniques are used to analysis the turbulence structure. It is found that the drift wave turbulence mainly is composed of low-frequency and long wavelength wave packets. The poloidal propagation is mainly in electron-diamagnetic direction, sometimes it propagates in ion-diamagnetic direction, which is influenced by Doppler-frequency shift. The radial propagation velocity is outward and the sizeable fraction of the poloidal velocity, implying that the radial mode plays an important role in the cross field transport.  相似文献

The main mission the HL-2A tokamak is of the experiments on to explore the divertor physics and to investigate the plasma confinement, transport and instabilities with high power auxiliary heating and advanced fuelling, it is necessary to develop more new diagnostics and increase the spatial and temporal resolutions of the measurements for exist system. Up to now, about 30 diagnostic systems have been moved from HL-1M to HL-2A tokamak. Other 10 diagnostic systems are being designed and installed on the device. A two-dimensional dusty plasma lattice in an rf discharge was observed.The structural and dynamical porperties were analysed by computing pair correlation function,static structure factor.bond-orientational correlation function and mean square displacement.The bond-orientational correlation function was found to fit into the law of ^-0.25,and the mean square displacement experienced “ballistic“,“subdiffusive“and “diffusive“regimes, both of which together with the other parameters indicate that the two-dimensional dusty plasma stayed at a state between liquid and solid.  相似文献

By applying ion Bernstein wave (IBW) heating into the lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) plasma, improved confinements have been obtained in the HT-7 tokamak. The central electron temperature was doubled and the storage energy was increased significantly. The core electron density and temperature were broadened and ther profiles near the edge were steepened. A transport barrier has been formed in the vicinity of the limlter radial location. An enhanced shear in poloidal phase velocity was found in the same region with reduction of the fluctuation levels and the coherences between fluctuations. The results suggest that the improved confinement in the IBW and LHCD plasma is at least partially due to the modification of shear in poloidal velocity and then the suppression of fluctuations and fluctuation induced fluxes via de-correlation effect.  相似文献

With the development of the fusion technology, the functions of the divertor have extended from single impurity control to multi-task. Many main tokamak devices in the world such as JET, JT-60U, ASDEX-U, DⅢ-D have modified their divertor systems in recent years and many experiments have been performed on them. They have the opened divertor systems which have relatively simplified the divertor structure. The plasma configuration with large minor radius, proper elongation and triangularity is easy to shape. So the opened divertor system is also adopted in the HL-2A modification.  相似文献

New experimental evidence of the correlation between edge sheared E×B flow and reduction of turbulence has been measured in the CASTOR tokamak (R = 0.4 m, a = 0.085 m, B T = 1 T). A biasing electrode is placed at the separatrix in a configuration which has demonstrated strongly sheared electric fields and consequent improvement of the global particle confinement. A set of movable electrostatic probes (rake, Langmuir, Gundestrup, and rotating Mach) provide redundant, simultaneous measurements of poloidal flow, toroidal flow, electron temperature, density, and radial electric field with high temporal resolution and at the same poloidal location. Particular effort has been made in the optimization of the Gundestrup probe collector geometry in order to reduce the relative uncertainty of Mach number measurements in plasmas with weak flow (M , M < 0.1). The measurements from the rake, Gundestrup, and rotating Mach probes give three independent radial profiles of E×B shear in ohmic and biased modes. Good agreement is obtained both for the profile shape and its absolute magnitude. The plasma flows, especially the poloidal E×B drift velocity, are strongly modified in the sheared region, reaching Mach numbers as high as half the sound speed. The corresponding shear rates (5×106 s-1) derived from both the flow and electric field profiles are in excellent agreement and are at least an order of magnitude higher than the growth rate of unstable turbulent modes as estimated from fluctuation measurements. In addition, we compare the measured E×B ion mass flow with the phase velocity of fluctuations moving poloidally across the Gundestrup collectors. Given the poloidal separation of the collecting plates and the sampling frequency (5 MHz), the maximum detectable phase velocity turns out to be rather modest compared to the measured bulk poloidal flow speed. Therefore the two quantities are only compared when the poloidal speed is low; in that case, they show similar behaviour in response to the applied bias.  相似文献

Radial propagation of electrostatic fluctuations in the edge plasma of Sino-United Spherical Tokamak (SUNIST) has been measured using Langmuir probes. The propagation characteristics of the floating potential fluctuations are analysed by the two-point correlation technique. The results show radially outward propagation of the turbulent fluctuations at all measured radial positions. The power-average wavenumber profile is approximately constant in plasma edge region and suddenly increases to the limiter. These results are in good agreement with the model predictions proposed by Mattor which suggests that the drift wave propagation may be a source of edge turbulence.  相似文献

The opacity,and its Planck and Rosseland mean values,of the hot and dense Au plasma in local thermodynamics equilibrium are studied by the Monte Carlo method based on the unresolved transition array (UTA) approximation.The average ion model and the Saha equation are used to determine the atomic level populations.The result gives a more detailed structure for frequency-dependent opacity than the popularly used super transition array or UTA in the photon energy range of 500eV to 2000eV.The Monte Carlo method can give a result better than that of the UTA,with almost the same computation effort.  相似文献

A one-dimensional cellular automaton is defined without the critical gradient rule (Δh>Δh_c) which is essential to the existence of avalanches in self-organized criticality (SOC) models. Instead, only the local diffusion rule is used, however, the characteristics of SOC, such as the bursty behaviour, power-law decay in fluctuation spectra, self-similarity over a broad range of scales and long-time correlations, are still observed in these numerical experiments. This numerical model is established to suggest that the bursty events and the incremental diffusion observed universally in fusion experiments do not necessarily imply the submarginal dynamics.  相似文献

The Adler-Bobenko-Suris (ABS) list contains scalar quadrilateral equations which are consistent around the cube, and have D4 symmetry and tetrahedron property. Each equation in the ABS list admits a beautiful decomposition. We revisit these decomposition formulas and by means of them we construct Bäcklund transformations (BTs). As the startup phase of HL-2A operation and the first divertor tokamak device in China, it is important to identify the species of impurity, estimate the concentration of impurities and compare the different behaviors of radiation in limiter and divertor configurationt.
