The D^0-D^0 mixing at Belle in different modes with corresponding methods is reported in this paper, there is a clear evidence for non-zero y D^0 mixing parameter, and the measurement of D^0 mixing parameter x is still a challenge. CP violation in the decays is not observed. Branching fractions of other charm decays are presented.  相似文献

Recently, both BaBar and Belle experiments found evidences of neutral D mixing. In this paper, we discuss the sensitivities of the measurements of D mixing parameters at BES-Ⅲ.With CP tag technique atψ(3770)peak,the extraction of the strong phase difference in D~0→Kπdecay at BES-Ⅲare discussed. We also make an estimate on the measurements of the mixing rate R_M by using the coherent data atψ(3770)peak. The CP violation in D system is predicted with an unobserved level in the Standard Model.Any significant CP violation in the D system indicates the existence of new physics. The sensitivity of the measurements of CP violation in the D system is estimated in the coherent D decays. Finally, the search for the rare D decays are discussed,in which some of the forbidden decays are smoking gun of new physics.  相似文献

We established a method on measuring the D0-■ mixing parameter y for BESⅢ experiment at the BEPCⅡ e e-collider. In this method, the doubly tagged ψ(3770) → D0■ events, with one D decays to CP-eigenstates and the other D decays semileptonically, are used to reconstruct the signals. Since this analysis requires good e/π separation, a likelihood approach, which combines the dE/dx, time of flight and the electromagnetic shower detectors information, is used for particle identification. We estimate the sensitivity of the measurement of y to be 0.007 based on a 20 fb-1 fully simulated MC sample.  相似文献

In contrast with B0-ˉB0, Bs-ˉBs mixing where the standard model(SM) contributions overwhelm that of the new physics beyond standard model(BSM), a measured relatively large D0-ˉD0mixing where the SM contribution is negligible, definitely implies the existence of the new physics BSM. It is natural to consider that the rare decays of D meson might be more sensitive to new physics, and the decay mode D0→μ+μ-could be an ideal area to search for new physics because it is a flavor changing process. In this work we look for a trace of the new physics BSM in the leptonic decays of D0. Concretely we discuss the contributions of unparticle or an extra gauge boson Z while imposing the constraints set by fitting the D0-ˉD0mixing data. We find that the long-distance SM effects for D0→lˉl still exceed those contributions of the BSM under consideration, but for a double-flavor changing process such as D0→μ±e, the new physics contribution would be significant.  相似文献

We calculate the D~0-~0 mixing parameter y in the factorization-assisted topological-amplitude(FAT)approach, considering contributions from D~0→PP, PV, and VV modes, where P(V) stands for a pseudoscalar(vector) meson. The D~0→PP and PV decay amplitudes are extracted in the FAT approach, and the D~0→VV decay amplitudes with final states in the longitudinal polarization are estimated via the parameter set for D~0→PV. It is found that the VV contribution to y, being of order of 10-4, is negligible, and that the PP and PV contributions amount only up to y_(PP+PV) =(0.21±0.07)%, a prediction more precise than those previously obtained in the literature, and much lower than the experimental data y_(exp) =(0.61 ±0.08)%. We conclude that D~0 meson decays into other two-body and multi-particle final states are relevant to the evaluation of y, so it is difficult to understand it fully in an exclusive approach.  相似文献

We investigate the D0-0 mixing through the doubly Cabibbo suppressed (DCS) channel D0 →f0(980)K0 and its charge conjugate channel, in which the K0 meson is reconstructed in both K π- and KSπ0 final state. Although the decay D0 →f0(980)K* has a small branching ratio, the final state mesons are relatively easy to identify. The f0(980) meson can be replaced by the S-wave π π- state, or a longitudinally polarized vector meson ρ0. All mixing parameters, including the mass difference and decay width difference, can be extracted by studying the time-dependent decay width of these channels. We show that the method is valid in all regions for mixing parameters and it does not depend on the strong phase difference.  相似文献

I show that the CP-violating asymmetry in K0 vs K-0→π+π-π0 decays differs from that in KL→π+π-,KL→π0π0 or the semileptonic KL transitions,if there exists CPT violation in K0-K-0 mixing.A delicate measurement of this difference at a super flavor factory(e.g.,the φ factory)will provide us with a robust test of CPT symmetry in the neutral kaon system.  相似文献

Within the heavy quark limit and the hierarchy approximation λQCD mD mB, we analyze the B → D00 and Bs → D00 decays, which occur purely via annihilation type diagrams. As a rough estimate, we calculate their branching ratios and CP asymmetries in the perturbative QCD (PQCD) approach. The branching ratio of B → D00 is about 3.8×10-5 that is just below the latest experimental upper limit. The branching ratio of Bs → D00 is about 6.8×10-4, which could be measured in LHC-b. From the calculation, it is found that this branching ratio is not sensitive to the weak phase angle γ. In these two decay modes, there exist CP asymmetries because of the interference between weak and strong interaction. However, these asymmetries are too small to be measured easily.  相似文献

Observing the CKM matrix elements written in different parametrization schemes, one can notice obvious relations among the sine-values of the CP phases in those schemes.Using the relations,we establish a few parametrizationindependent equations,by which the matrix elements of the CKM matrix can be completely fixed up to a universal parameter. If it is true,we expect that there should exist a hidden symmetry in the nature, which determines the relations. Moreover,it requires a universal parameter, naturally it would be the famous Jarlskog invariant, which is also parametrization independent. Thus the four parameters(three mixing angles and one CP phase) of the CKM matrix are not free, but determined by the symmetry and the universal parameter. As we generalize the rules to the PMNS matrix for neutrino mixing, the CP phase of the lepton sector is predicted to be within a range of 0 ~ 59° centered at39°(in the P_a parametrization) which will be tested in the future experiments.  相似文献

The sensitivity of the D~0-~0 mixing parameters x and y is estimated in the wrong-sign decay D~0→K~+π~-π~0 by time-dependent amplitude analysis. The resolution of the D~0 lifetime is essential in time-dependent Dalitz analyses. The Belle II detector, which aims to collect a total integrated luminosity of 50 ab~(-1) of data, has σ = 140 fs in Monte Carlo studies, a factor of two improvement over that of Belle and Ba Bar, so the produced Dalitz signal Monte Carlo samples are smeared with this resolution. Then a time-dependent Dalitz plot fitting is performed on these smeared samples, and the sensitivity of D~0-~0mixing parameters are σ_x = 0.057% and σ_y = 0.049%. These are about an order of magnitude improvement on current experimental results, without considering background effects.  相似文献

We examine the effects of an unparticle U as a possible source of missing energy in the p-wave decays of a B meson. The dependence of the differential branching ratio on the K0^* (K1) - meson's energy is discussed in the presence of scalar and vector unparticle operators and significant deviation from the standard model value is found after addition of these operators. Finally, we have shown the dependence of the branching ratio for the above-mentioned decays on the parameters of unparticle stuff like effective couplings, cutoff scale Au and the scale dimensions du.  相似文献

<正>B-particle organization Many measurements of 8 decays involve admixtures of B hadrons.Previously we arbitrarily included such admixtures in the B~±section, but because of their importance we have created two new sections:B~±/B~0 Admixture"for T(4S)results and"B~±/B~0/B_(s~0)/b-baryon Admixture"for results at higher energies. Most inclusive decay branching fractions and x_b at high energy are found in the Admixture sections.B~0-B~0mixing data are found in the 6°section,while B_(s~0)-B_(S~0)mixing data and B-B mixing data for a B~0/B_(s~0)admixture are found in the B_(s~0)section.CP-violation data are found in the B~±,S~0,and B~±B~0 Admixture sections.b-baryons are found near the end of the Baryon section.Recently,we also created a new section:"V_(cb)and  相似文献

A sensitivity study on the measurement of the CKM angle y from B_S~0→D~((*)0)φ decays is conducted using the D-meson reconstructed in the quasi flavour-specific modes Kπ,K3π,and Kππ~0,as well as CP-eigenstate modes KK and ππ,where the notation D~0 corresponds to a D~0 or D~0 meson. The LHCb experiment is presented as a use case.A statistical uncertainty of approximately 8°-19°can be achieved with the pp collision data collected in the LHCb experiment from 2011 to 2018.The sensitivity to y should be of the order 3°-8° after accumulating 23 fb~(-1) of pp collision data by 2025,whereas it is expected to improve further by 300 fb~(-1) by the second half of the 2030 decade. The accuracy is dependent on the strong parameters r_B~((*)) and δ_B~((*)),which together with γdescribe the interference between the leading amplitudes of the B_S~0→D~((*)0)φ decays.  相似文献
