We present two experiments measuring the parity-violating asymmetry (P-odd) of tritons emission in the reaction 6Li(n,??)3H and ??-quanta emission in the reaction 10B(n,??)7Li* ?? 7Li + ?? with polarized cold neutrons, aiming at estimation of the weak meson-nucleon coupling constants. These experiments started in the PNPI, Gatchina and continued in the ILL, Grenoble. We describe an integral method to measure P-odd asymmetry and the two experiments. The results of our measurements are: $\alpha{}_{P-odd}^{6Li}=(-8.8\pm2.1)\cdot10^{-8}$ and $\alpha{}_{P-odd}^{10B}=(0.8\pm3.9)\cdot10^{-8}$ .  相似文献

The dynamics of ${\rm C}+{\rm H_2}\rightarrow {\rm H}+{\rm CH}$ reaction is theoretically studied using the quasiclassical trajectory and quantum mechanical wave packet methods. The analysis of reaction probabilities, integral cross sections, and rate coefficients reveal the essential Coriolis coupling effects in the quantum mechanical wave packet calculations.The calculated polarization-dependent differential cross section, $P$($\theta_r$) and $P$($\phi_r$) show that the $\bm j'$ of product rotational angular momentum is not only aligned along the $y$ axis and the direction of the vector $\bm x+\bm z$, but also strongly oriented along the positive $y$ axis.  相似文献

Laser-microwave double resonance techniques applied to a cloud of a natural mixture of Eu + isotopes confined in a Penning trap has been used to induce and detect nuclear Zeeman transitions. In spite of the complex level structure of Eu + and overlapping spectra from the two isotopes five different transitions could be observed from which the nuclear magnetic moment can be derived. We obtain for 151 Eu + g I = 1.377 34(6) demonstrating the potential for high accuracy of the technique. Charmonium rescattering effects in the M1 transition of $ \psi$ (2S) $ \rightarrow$ $ \gamma$ $ \eta_{c}^{}$ are investigated by modeling a $ \chi_{{cJ}}^{}$ or J/ $ \psi$ rescattering into a $ \eta_{c}^{}$ final state. The absorptive and dispersive part of the transition amplitudes for the rescattering loops of $ \eta$ $ \psi$ ( $ \gamma^{{\ast}}_{}$ ) and $ \gamma$ $ \chi$ ( $ \psi$ ) are separately evaluated. The numerical results show that the contribution from the $ \gamma$ $ \chi$ ( $ \psi$ ) rescattering process is negligible. Compared with the virtual D $ \bar{{D}}$ (D *) rescattering processes, the $ \eta$ $ \psi$ ( $ \gamma^{{\ast}}_{}$ ) process may be regarded as the next-leading order of the hadronic loop mechanism, which only offers the partial decay width of ~ 0.045 keV to the $ \psi$ (2S) $ \rightarrow$ $ \gamma$ $ \eta_{c}^{}$ .  相似文献

The potential for kHz-rate or high-speed planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) of the Methylidyne (CH) radical using its \(C^{ 2} \varSigma ^{ + } {-}X^{ 2} \varPi\) (v′ = 0, v′′ = 0) band was investigated. We show that due to its strength and the excitation wavelength (~314 nm), which is conveniently generated by a dye laser operating with a red dye, the CX(0,0) band is a good choice for CH LIF studies wherein suppression of background scattering is not required. While interference from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is small, that caused by hydroxyl (OH) can be significant. Nonetheless, the OH lines can be avoided, and we observe good CH image fidelity. Most importantly, we show that due to the favorable properties of the CH CX band (i.e., good signal strength and convenient wavelength), it can be used for PLIF at kHz acquisition rates using a continuously pulsing laser system. This is demonstrated in laminar and turbulent CH4-air flames with a laser system operating at 10 kHz and delivering ~0.2 mJ/pulse at 314 nm.  相似文献

Analytical expressions are presented for contributions of order $O(\overline \alpha \overline \alpha _s )$ and $O(\overline \alpha ^2 )$ to the $\bar bb$ -decay width of the neutral Higgs boson of the standard model of electroweak interactions. The numerical value of the mixed QED and QCD correction of order $O(\overline \alpha \overline \alpha _s )$ is comparable to other computed terms in the perturbation series.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate methods to study the $t\bar{t}$ Higgs coupling. The spin and CP properties of a Higgs boson are analysed in a model-independent way in its associated production with a $t\bar{t}$ pair in high-energy e + e ? collisions. We study the prospects of establishing the CP quantum numbers of the Higgs boson in the CP-conserving case as well as those of determining the CP-mixing if CP is violated. We explore in this analysis the combined use of the total cross section and its energy dependence, the polarisation asymmetry of the top quark and the up-down asymmetry of the antitop with respect to the top–electron plane. We find that combining all three observables remarkably reduces the error on the determination of the CP properties of the Higgs Yukawa coupling. Furthermore, the top polarisation asymmetry and the ratio of cross sections at different collider energies are shown to be sensitive to the spin of the particle produced in association with the top-quark pair.  相似文献

Using the method of laser-induced fluorescence in an atomic beam we have measured the hyperfine splitting constants, A and B, of the ground and excited states of the optical transition 4f 76s 2 8S $_{1/2}\to 4f^{7}$ 6s6p 6P5/2 (564.58 nm) for 151???155Eu isotopes. For all isotopes, the magnetic dipole constants of the 6P5/2 atomic level are determined to a precision better than 0.04%. The A and B constants for the ground state 8S7/2 of the radioactive 152,154,155Eu were obtained for the first time with a precision better than 0.5%. Our data along with previous ground state hyperfine structure measurements for the stable europium isotopes allow us to determine the hyperfine anomaly for mentioned Eu isotopes.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for elastic scattering of the 59.54 keV γ-rays in elements with 22 ≤Z ≤92 have been measured over the angular range 10–160corresponding to the momentum transfer 0.4 ≤x ≤4.7 Å-1. The measurements at forward and backward angles were performed using the 241Am radioactive point-source, target and the Ge detectors in the transmission and reflection arrangements, respectively. The measured differential scattering cross sections are compared with those based on the form-factor (FF) formalism and state-of-the-art S-matrix calculations to differentiate between their relative efficacies and to check angular-dependence of the anomalous scattering factors (ASF) incorporated as correction to the modified form-factor (MF). The S-matrix values exhibit agreement with the measured data at backward angles and differences ~10% at forward angles. The scattering cross sections based on the MF including ASF’s are in general lower at various angles by up to 20% for medium- and high-Z elements. The observed deviations being higher at the forward angles infer possibility of angular-dependence of ASF’s.  相似文献

We study mutually unbiased unextendible maximally entangled bases (MUUMEBs) in bipartite stystem \(\mathbb {C}^{d}\otimes \mathbb {C}^{d + 1}\). By deriving the sufficient and necessary conditions that two MUUMEBs in \(\mathbb {C}^{3}\otimes \mathbb {C}^{4}\) need to satisfy, we first establish two pairs of MUUMEBs in \(\mathbb {C}^{3}\otimes \mathbb {C}^{4}\). Then we present the sufficient and necessary conditions that two MUUMEBs in bipartite system \(\mathbb {C}^{d}\otimes \mathbb {C}^{d + 1}\) need to satisfy, thus generalize the main results of Halqem et al. (Int. J. Theor. Phys. 54(1), 326, 2015).  相似文献

The state of polarization of the recoil nucleus inγ+3He→π°+3He as well as the asymmetry in the differential cross-section when the initial3He is polarized are studied together with the differential cross-section taking into consideration theS, S′ andD-state admixtures in the nuclear wavefunctions. In view of the considerable spin dependence in the photoproduction amplitudes these observables are found to be quite sensitive to the small admixtures ofS′ andD-states in the nuclear wave-functions.  相似文献
