In this paper, we study the Ekeland type variational principle, a Caristi-Kirk type fixed point theorem and a maximal element theorem in the setting of uniform spaces. By using these results, we establish some existence results for solutions of quasi-variational inclusion problems, quasi-optimization problems and equilibrium problems defined on separated and sequentially complete uniformly spaces.  相似文献

In this note, we point out and correct some errors in Ref. 1. Another type of pointwise well-posedness and strong pointwise well-posedness of vector optimization problems is introduced. Sufficient conditions to guarantee this type of well-posedness are provided for perturbed vector optimization problems in connection with the vector-valued Ekeland variational principle.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the concept of approximate solutions for set-valued optimization problems. A sufficient condition for the existence of approximate solutions is obtained. A general Ekeland's variational principle for set-valued mappings in complete ordered metric spaces and complete metric spaces are derived. In this paper, we apply an existence theorem for the variational inclusion problem to study the existence results for the variational intersection problems in Ekeland’s sense and the existence results for some variants of set-valued vector Ekeland variational principles in a complete metric space. Our results contain Ekeland’s variational principle as a special case and our approaches are different to those for any existence theorems for such problems.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce and study enhanced notions of relative Pareto minimizers for constrained multiobjective problems that are defined via several kinds of relative interiors of ordering cones and occupy intermediate positions between the classical notions of Pareto and weak Pareto efficiency/minimality. Using advanced tools of variational analysis and generalized differentiation, we establish the existence of relative Pareto minimizers for general multiobjective problems under a refined version of the subdifferential Palais-Smale condition for set-valued mappings with values in partially ordered spaces and then derive necessary optimality conditions for these minimizers (as well as for conventional efficient and weak efficient counterparts) that are new in both finite-dimensional and infinite-dimensional settings. Our proofs are based on variational and extremal principles of variational analysis; in particular, on new versions of the Ekeland variational principle and the subdifferential variational principle for set-valued and single-valued mappings in infinite-dimensional spaces.  相似文献

We establish a pre-order principle. From the principle, we obtain a very general set-valued Ekeland variational principle, where the objective function is a set-valued map taking values in a quasi-ordered linear space and the perturbation contains a family of set-valued maps satisfying certain property. From this general set-valued Ekeland variational principle, we deduce a number of particular versions of set-valued Ekeland variational principle, which include many known Ekeland variational principles, their improvements and some new results.  相似文献

This work deals with strict solutions of set-valued optimization problems under the set optimality criterion. In this context, we introduce a new approximate solution concept and we obtain several properties of these solutions when the error is fixed and also for their limit behavior when the error tends to zero. In this paper, vector complementarity problems are introduced as weak versions of vector variational inequalities in ordered Banach spaces. New dual cones are introduced and proved to be closed. In the sense of efficient point, we prove that the minimal element problem is solvable if a vector variational inequality is solvable; we also prove that any solution of a strong vector variational inequality or positive vector complementarity problem is a solution of the minimal element problem.This work was done while the author was with the Chongqing Institute of Architecture and Engineering, Chongqing, P. Abstract

In this article, we introduce two general iterative methods for a certain optimization problem of which the constrained set is the set of the solution set of the variational inequality problem for the fixed point set of nonexpansive semigroups in Hilbert spaces. Under some control conditions, we establish the strong convergence of the proposed methods to the fixed point set, which is the unique solution of a certain optimization problem. This paper deals with multivalued quasi variational inequalities with pseudo-monotone and monotone maps. The primary objective of this work is to show that the notion of generalized solutions can be employed to investigate multivalued pseudo-monotone quasi variational inequalities. It is a well-known fact that a quasi variational inequality can conveniently be posed as a fixed point problem through the so-called variational selection. For pseudo-monotone maps, the associated variational selection is a nonconvex map, and the fixed point theorems can only be applied under restrictive assumptions on the data of quasi variational inequalities. On the other hand, the generalized solutions are defined by posing a minimization problem which can be solved by a variant of classical Weierstrass theorem. It turns out that far less restrictive assumptions on the data are needed in this case. To emphasis on the strong difference between a classical solution and a generalized solution, we also give a new existence theorem for quasi variational inequalities with monotone maps. The main existence result is proved under a milder coercivity condition. We also relax a few other conditions from the monotone map. Due to its flexibility, it seems that the notion of generalized solutions can be employed to study quasi variational inequalities for other classes of maps as well.  相似文献

In this paper we focus on minimal points in linear spaces and minimal solutions of vector optimization problems, where the preference relation is defined via an improvement set E. To be precise, we extend the notion of E-optimal point due to Chicco et al. in [4] to a general (non-necessarily Pareto) quasi ordered linear space and we study its properties. In particular, we relate the notion of improvement set with other similar concepts of the literature and we characterize it by means of sublevel sets of scalar functions. Moreover, we obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for E-optimal solutions of vector optimization problems through scalarization processes by assuming convexity assumptions and also in the general (nonconvex) case. By applying the obtained results to certain improvement sets we generalize well-known results of the literature referred to efficient, weak efficient and approximate efficient solutions of vector optimization problems.  相似文献
