By a topological dynamical system, we mean a pair (X,f), where X is a compactum and f is a continuous self-map on X. A system is said to be null if its topological sequence entropies are zero along all strictly increasing sequences of natural numbers. We show that there exists a null system which is distributionally chaotic. This system admits open distributionally scrambled sets, and its collection of all maximal distributionally scrambled sets has the same cardinality as the collection of all subsets of the phase space. Finally such system can even exist on continua.  相似文献

We show that each power bounded operator with spectral radius equal to one on a reflexive Banach space has a nonzero vector which is not supercyclic. Equivalently, the operator has a nontrivial closed invariant homogeneous subset. Moreover, the operator has a nontrivial closed invariant cone if belongs to its spectrum. This generalizes the corresponding results for Hilbert space operators.

For non-reflexive Banach spaces these results remain true; however, the non-supercyclic vector (invariant cone, respectively) relates to the adjoint of the operator.

We prove Carleson-type embedding theorems for weighted Bergman spaces with Békollé weights. We use this to study properties of Toeplitz-type operators, integration operators and composition operators acting on such spaces. In this article we prove weighted norm inequalities and pointwise estimates between the multilinear fractional integral operator and the multilinear fractional maximal. As a consequence of these estimations we obtain weighted weak and strong inequalities for the multilinear fractional maximal operator or function. In particular, we extend some results given in Carro et al. (2005) [7] to the multilinear context. On the other hand we prove weighted pointwise estimates between the multilinear fractional maximal operator Mα,B associated to a Young function B and the multilinear maximal operators Mψ=M0,ψ, ψ(t)=B(t1−α/(nm))nm/(nmα). As an application of these estimate we obtain a direct proof of the LpLq boundedness results of Mα,B for the case B(t)=t and Bk(t)=tk(1+log+t) when 1/q=1/pα/n. We also give sufficient conditions on the weights involved in the boundedness results of Mα,B that generalizes those given in Moen (2009) [22] for B(t)=t. Finally, we prove some boundedness results in Banach function spaces for a generalized version of the multilinear fractional maximal operator.  相似文献

We study the behaviour of the sequence of minimal vectors corresponding to certain classes of operators on reflexive spaces, including multiplication operators and bilateral weighted shifts. The results proved are based on explicit formulae for the minimal vectors, and provide extensions of results due to Ansari and Enflo, and also Wiesner. In many cases the convergence of sequences associated with the minimal vectors leads to the construction of hyperinvariant subspaces for cyclic operators.

We study a few classes of Hilbert space operators whose matrix representations are complex symmetric with respect to a preferred orthonormal basis. The existence of this additional symmetry has notable implications and, in particular, it explains from a unifying point of view some classical results. We explore applications of this symmetry to Jordan canonical models, self-adjoint extensions of symmetric operators, rank-one unitary perturbations of the compressed shift, Darlington synthesis and matrix-valued inner functions, and free bounded analytic interpolation in the disk.

We use tensor product techniques to study universality, hypercyclicity and chaos of multipliers defined on operator ideals and of multiplication operators on the space of all continuous and linear operators, thus continuing the work of Kit Chan. We also obtain the first examples of outer multipliers on a Banach algebra which are chaotic in the sense of Devaney, and prove sufficient conditions for the existence of closed subspaces of universal vectors for operators between Fréchet spaces.  相似文献

We examine common supercyclic vectors for a path of operators. In particular, we show that the path consisting of convex combinations of two arbitrary unilateral weighted backward shifts has a dense Gδ set of common supercyclic vectors. Moreover, we show there exists a path with a dense Gδ set of common supercyclic vectors between a unilateral weighted backward shift which satisfies the Supercyclicity Criterion, and an operator which does not. We determine the spectra of composition operators acting on weighted Banach spaces of analytic functions on the unit disc defined for a radial weight v, when the symbol of the operator has a fixed point in the open unit disc. We introduce generalized?multipliers for?left-invertible analytic operators. We show that they form a Banach algebra and characterize the commutant of such operators in its terms. In the special case, we describe the commutant of balanced weighted shift only in terms of its weights. We present a simple approach to the theory of traces on the Marcinkiewicz operator ideal Particular attention is paid to the Dixmier traces, which may be obtained from both dilation‐invariant functionals and shift‐invariant functionals on $\mathfrak l_\infty$. Since the concept of positivity does not make sense for traces defined on operator ideals over Banach spaces, traces are not assumed to be positive in the Hilbert space setting, as well.
