In this paper, we introduce and consider a new class of variational inequalities, which is called the bifunction hemivariational inequality. This new class includes several classes of variational inequalities as special cases. A number of iterative methods for solving bifunction hemivariational inequalities are suggested and analyzed by using the auxiliary principle technique. We also study the convergence analysis of these iterative methods under some mild conditions. The results obtained in this paper can be considered as a novel application of the auxiliary principle technique.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new class of equilibrium problems, which is called the generalized mixed quasi-equilibrium problems with trifunction. Using the auxiliary principle technique, we suggest and analyze a proximal point method for solving the generalized mixed quasi-equilibrium problems. It is shown that the convergence of the proposed method requires only pseudomonotonicity, which is a weaker condition than monotonicity. Our results represent an improvement and refinement of previously known results. Since the generalized mixed quasi-equilibrium problems include equilibrium problems and variational inequalities as special cases, results proved in this paper continue to hold for these problems.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and analyze a new class of equilibrium problems known as general hemiequilibrium problems. It is shown that this class includes hemiequilibrium problems, hemivariational inequalities and complementarity problems as special cases. We use the auxiliary principle techniques to suggest some iterative-type methods for solving multivalued hemiequilibrium problems. We also analyze the convergence analysis of these new iterative methods under some mild conditions. As special cases, we obtain several new and known methods for solving variational inequalities and equilibrium problems.  相似文献

In this article we introduce a new class of equilibrium problems known as mixed quasi invex equilibrium (equilibrium-like) problems with trifunction. This class of equilibrium problems includes invex equilibrium problems, variational inequalities and variational-like inequalities as special cases. We use the auxiliary principle technique to suggest and analyze some iterative schemes for solving invex equilibrium problems and study the convergence criteria of these methods under mild conditions. Our results represent significant and important refinements of the previously known results.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and consider a new class of variational inequalities, known as the hemivariational-like inequalities. It is shown that the hemivariational-like inequalities include hemivariational inequalities, variational-like inequalities and the classical variational inequalities as special cases. The auxiliary principle is used to suggest and analyze some iterative methods for solving hemivariational-like inequalities under mild conditions. The results obtained in this paper can be considered as a novel application of the auxiliary principle technique.  相似文献

In this paper, we are concerned with noncoercive equilibrium problems associated with a bifunction which does not satisfy necessarily an algebraic monotonicity assumption. Our tool is a regularization procedure which we develop for equilibrium problems. The abstract existence result established is then applied to the solution of noncoercive hemivariational inequalities.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a class of evolution second order hemivariational inequalities with non-coercive operators which are assumed to be known approximately. Using the so-called Browder-Tikhonov regularization method, we prove that the regularized evolution hemivariational inequality problem is solvable. We construct a sequence based on the solvability of the regularized evolution hemivariational inequality problem and show that every weak cluster of this sequence is a solution for the evolution second order hemivariational inequality.  相似文献

In this paper, well-posedness of a general class of elliptic mixed hemivariational–variational inequalities is studied. This general class includes several classes of the previously studied elliptic mixed hemivariational–variational inequalities as special cases. Moreover, our approach of the well-posedness analysis is easily accessible, unlike those in the published papers on elliptic mixed hemivariational–variational inequalities so far. First, prior theoretical results are recalled for a class of elliptic mixed hemivariational–variational inequalities featured by the presence of a potential operator. Then the well-posedness results are extended through a Banach fixed-point argument to the same class of inequalities without the potential operator assumption. The well-posedness results are further extended to a more general class of elliptic mixed hemivariational–variational inequalities through another application of the Banach fixed-point argument. The theoretical results are illustrated in the study of a contact problem. For comparison, the contact problem is studied both as an elliptic mixed hemivariational–variational inequality and as an elliptic variational–hemivariational inequality.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and consider a new class of variational inequalities, which is called the nonconvex bifunction variational inequality. We suggest and analyze some iterative methods for solving nonconvex bifunction variational inequalities using the auxiliary principle technique. We prove that the convergence of implicit method requires only pseudomonotonicity, which is weaker condition than monotonicity. Our proof of convergence is very simple. Results proved in this paper may stimulate further research in this dynamic field.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of generalized quasi-variational-like hemivariational inequalities with multi-valued ηη-pseudomonotone operators in Banach spaces. Some new existence theorems of solutions for this class of generalized quasi-variational-like hemivariational inequalities are proved. The results presented in this paper generalize and extend some known results.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider an extension of well-posedness for a minimization problem to a class of variational–hemivariational inequalities with perturbations. We establish some metric characterizations for the well-posed variational–hemivariational inequality and give some conditions under which the variational–hemivariational inequality is strongly well-posed in the generalized sense. Under some mild conditions, we also prove the equivalence between the well-posedness of variational–hemivariational inequality and the well-posedness of corresponding inclusion problem.  相似文献

We consider an abstract class of variational–hemivariational inequalities which arise in the study of a large number of mathematical models of contact. The novelty consists in the structure of the inequalities which involve two history-dependent operators and two nondifferentiable functionals, a convex and a nonconvex one. For these inequalities we provide an existence and uniqueness result of the solution. The proof is based on arguments of surjectivity for pseudomonotone operators and fixed point. Then, we consider a viscoelastic problem in which the contact is frictionless and is modeled with a new boundary condition which describes both the instantaneous and the memory effects of the foundation. We prove that this problem leads to a history-dependent variational–hemivariational inequality in which the unknown is the displacement field. We apply our abstract result in order to prove the unique weak solvability of this viscoelastic contact problem.  相似文献

This paper presents a study of regularization techniques of nondifferentiable optimization with focus to the application to a special class of hemivariational inequalities. We establish some convergence results for the regularization method of hemivariational inequalities. As a model example we consider the delamination problem for laminated composite structures and provide numerical experiments, which underline our regularization theory.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider and analyze a new class of extragradient-type methods for solving general variational inequalities. The modified methods converge for pseudomonotone operators which is weaker condition than monotonicity. Our proof of convergence is very simple as compared with other methods. The proposed methods include several new and known methods as special cases. Our results present a significant improvement of previously known methods for solving variational inequalities and related optimization problems.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to a class of inverse coefficient problems for nonlinear elliptic hemivariational inequalities. The unknown coefficient of elliptic hemivariational inequalities depends on the gradient of the solution and belongs to a set of admissible coefficients. It is shown that the nonlinear elliptic hemivariational inequalities are uniquely solvable for the given class of coefficients. The result of existence of quasisolutions of the inverse problems is obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, we use the auxiliary principle technique to suggest a new class of predictor-corrector algorithms for solving multivalued variational inequalities. The convergence of the proposed methods requires only the partially-relaxed strong monotonicity of the operator, which is weaker than cocoercivity. As special cases, we obtain a number of known and new results for solving various classes of variational inequalities.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the study of a class of hemivariational inequalities for the time-dependent Navier–Stokes equations, including both boundary hemivariational inequalities and domain hemivariational inequalities. The hemivariational inequalities are analyzed in the framework of an abstract hemivariational inequality. Solution existence for the abstract hemivariational inequality is explored through a limiting procedure for a temporally semi-discrete scheme based on the backward Euler difference of the time derivative, known as the Rothe method. It is shown that solutions of the Rothe scheme exist, they contain a weakly convergent subsequence as the time step-size approaches zero, and any weak limit of the solution sequence is a solution of the abstract hemivariational inequality. It is further shown that under certain conditions, a solution of the abstract hemivariational inequality is unique and the solution of the abstract hemivariational inequality depends continuously on the problem data. The results on the abstract hemivariational inequality are applied to hemivariational inequalities associated with the time-dependent Navier–Stokes equations.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a mathematical model describing static elastic contact problems with the Hooke constitutive law and subdifferential boundary conditions. We treat boundary hemivariational inequalities which are weak formulations of contact problems. We establish existence and uniqueness of solutions to hemivariational inequalities. Using the notion of H-convergence of elasticity tensors we investigate the limit behavior of the sequence of solutions to hemivariational inequalities.  相似文献

In this paper, we use the auxiliary principle technique to suggest and analyze a class of predictor-corrector methods for solving noncoercive mixed variational inequalities. The convergence of the proposed method requires only the partially relaxed strongly monotonicity, which is even weaker than the co-coercivity. As special cases, we obtain a number of new and known results for classical variational inequalities.  相似文献
