The synthesis of a series of novel acetylenic compounds 1 – 7 , isolated recently from the fungus Eutypa lata, is described. The crucial step is the coupling reaction between a protected aryl halogenide and the acetylenic chain as a cuprous acetylide (Scheme 1). A more efficient method using bis(triphenylphosphine)palladium dichloride ([Pd(PPh3)2Cl2]) as catalyst was also carried out with success.  相似文献

The article focuses on the optimization of the extraction process of biologically active compounds (BAC) from grape marc—a by-product of the wine industry. The influence of temperature, specifically 30 °C, 45 °C and 65 °C, and ethanol concentration in solutions, specifically 0–96% (v/v) on the extraction yield of polyphenols, flavonoids, tannins and anthocyanins, were investigated. The composition of individual polyphenols, anthocyanins and organic acids, antioxidant activity (DPPH and ABTS) and CIELab chromatic characteristics of the grape marc extracts (GME), were characterized. The microbiostatic and microbicidal effects in direct contact of GME with pathogenic microorganisms, Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, were determined in vitro. The influence of extraction parameters on the total polyphenol content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC), tannin content (TC), total anthocyanin content (TAC) and their interdependencies were studied using information analysis. A mathematical model was developed on cubic spline functions. The analysis of individual compounds showed the presence of a wide range of flavonoids (procyanidin B2, procyanidin B1, hyperoside and quercetin), flavones (catechin), hydroxybenzoic acid derivatives (gallic, protocatechuic, p-hydroxybenzoic acids, m-hydroxybenzoic acid, syringic acid), hydroxycinic acid derivatives and ferulic acid methyl ester. The malvidol-3-glucoside was the main anthocyanin identified in the extract. A high amount of tartaric acid was also found. GME showed significant antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria and lower activity against Gram-negative bacteria.  相似文献

A collection of herbs from the natural environment remains not only a source of raw material but also provides evidence of chemical differentiation of the local populations. This work aimed at performing a phytosociological analysis of seven different stands of meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria (L.) Maxim.) occurrence. A determination of total phenolic compounds and salicylates and the antioxidant activity of dried meadowsweet inflorescences (Flos ulmariae) was also performed. Active chemical compounds in F. ulmaria inflorescences were related to chemotype and diversified between investigated populations. Geographical distance and variation in phytosociological locations affected chemical composition in different ways, shaping the content of biochemical compounds crucial for herbal material quality. The obtained results can be a valuable indicator for Nexo and Baligród populations, which are good genetic material for research, breeding, and cultivation due to their biochemical composition, especially with respect to salicylates, as major compounds of determining market quality of Flos ulmariae.  相似文献

The influence of adjacent substituents on stereochemical course of cyclopropanation of vinyl sulfoxides with stabilized and nonstabilized ylides, as well as dependence on reaction conditions, was investigated. Development of efficient methods for isolation and separation of biologically active compounds remains an important challenge for researchers. Designing systems such as organomineral composite materials that allow extraction of a wide range of biologically active compounds, acting as broad-utility solid-phase extraction agents, remains an important and necessary task. Selective sorbents can be easily used for highly selective and reliable extraction of specific components present in complex matrices. Herein, state-of-the-art approaches for selective isolation, preconcentration, and separation of biologically active compounds from a range of matrices are discussed. Primary focus is given to novel extraction methods for some biologically active compounds including cyclic polyols, flavonoids, and oligosaccharides from plants. In addition, application of silica-, carbon-, and polymer-based solid-phase extraction adsorbents and membrane extraction for selective separation of these compounds is discussed. Potential separation process interactions are recommended; their understanding is of utmost importance for the creation of optimal conditions to extract biologically active compounds including those with estrogenic properties.  相似文献

Cell membrane chromatography (CMC) is a useful method for the simultaneous isolation and identification of active compounds from natural products. However, it suffers from high cell membrane consumption and is time-consuming to operate. In this study, CMC was performed for the first time with a silica capillary, termed cell membrane capillary chromatography (CMCC). Pancreatic islet cell membranes from a mouse were immobilized onto the capillary inner wall functionalized with aldehyde groups. Scanning electron microscopy observation of the prepared column showed that the cell membrane was evenly coated onto the capillary inner wall. Three model analytes with the pharmacological property of hypoglycemic activity including glibenclamide, glipizide and berberine were tested. They were all retained by the prepared column. Furthermore, the retention factors of the analytes in CMCC correlated well with their pharmacological action. The analytical procedure including washing (to obtain a flat baseline), injection and separation was accomplished within 10 min. The CMCC column was also used for screening active compounds from a natural plant (Coptis chinensis). The hypoglycemia activity of active components such as berberine was verified using the method. The results indicated that CMCC is a viable alternative method for screening active compounds from natural products.  相似文献

A new triterpenoid along with four known compounds were isolated from the leaves of Lagerstronemia speciosa (L.) PERS. (Lythraceae). On the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence, the new compound was established as 3beta,23-dihydroxy-1-oxo-olean-12-en-28-oic acid.  相似文献
