A new flow reactor has been developed to study ozonolysis reactions at ambient pressure and room temperature (297 ± 2 K). The reaction kinetics of O(3) with 4-methyl-1-pentene (4M1P), 2-methyl-2-pentene (2M2P), 2,4,4-trimethyl-1-pentene (tM1P), 2,4,4-trimethyl-2-pentene (tM2P) and α-pinene have been investigated under pseudo-first-order conditions. Absolute measurements of the rate coefficients have been carried out by recording O(3) consumption in excess of organic compound. Alkene concentrations have been determined by sampling adsorbent cartridges that were thermodesorbed and analyzed by gas-chromatography coupled to flame ionization detection. Complementary experimental data have been obtained using a 250 L Teflon smog chamber. The following ozonolysis rate coefficients can be proposed (in cm(3) molecule(-1) s(-1)): k(4M1P) = (8.23 ± 0.50) × 10(-18), k(2M2P) = (4.54 ± 0.96) × 10(-16), k(tM1P) = (1.48 ± 0.11) × 10(-17), k(tM2P) = (1.25 ± 0.10) × 10(-16), and k(α-pinene) = (1.29 ± 0.16) × 10(-16), in very good agreement with literature values. The products of tM2P ozonolysis have been investigated, and branching ratios of (21.4 ± 2.8)% and (73.9 ± 7.3)% have been determined for acetone and 2,2-dimethyl-propanal, respectively. Additionally, a new nonoxidized intermediate, 2-methyl-1-propene, has been identified and quantified. A topological SAR analysis was also performed to strengthen the consistency of the kinetic data obtained with this new flow reactor.  相似文献

A simple weighted density approximation (SWDA) was extended to nonuniform Lennard-Jones fluids by following the spirit of a partitioned density function theory [S. Zhou, Phys. Rev. E 68 (2003) 061201] and mapping the hard-core part onto an effective hard-sphere fluid whose higher order terms beyond the second order of the functional perturbation expansion are treated by the SWDA. The resultant DFT formalism performs well for Lennard-Jones fluids under the influence of diverse external fields. With the present DFT formalism, we investigate in detail the structure and adsorption properties of a low-density LJ gas in a spherical cavity with a wall consisting of hard-sphere or LJ particles. It was found that when the cavity wall exerts an attractive external potential on the LJ particles in the cavity, the excess adsorption decreases as the temperature increases, while when the cavity wall exerts a hard repulsive external potential on the LJ particles in the cavity, the excess adsorption increases as the temperature increases.  相似文献

Relation between the calibration coefficient of a DSC sensor k(T) and the sensitivity of a thermocouple e(T) which the sensor is made from was derived from the analysis of a heat transfer inside a DSC cell. Ratio e(T)/k(T) is equal to A+BT 3. The first component depends on heat conduction and the second one on radiation. The relationship was tested for DSC-204 Netzsch using (i) data on calibration vs. enthalpies of phase transitions (reference samples) and (ii) measurements of heat capacity of corundum. Both tests show very good agreement between experimental data and predicted theoretical function. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

An underlying assumption for collaborative studies is that the analyte variation among test samples of the material (i.e., matrix and analyte concentration combination) under study has a negligible influence on the estimates of precision for the method. This assumption is expected to be fulfilled when the material under study is prepared (i.e., thoroughly mixed) such that the analyte is distributed uniformly throughout the matrix. Statistical design and intra-class correlation analysis procedures are proposed to assess the similarity or agreement among analytical results among- and within-containers for single and multiple occasions of use (e.g., collaborative and proficiency studies).  相似文献

Previous studies have shown that the cholesteryl ester core of plasma low density lipoprotein (LDL) can be extracted with heptane and replaced with a variety of hydrophobic molecules. In the present report we use this reconstitution technique to incorporate two fluorescent probes, 3-pyrenemethyl-23, 24-dinor-5-cholen-22-oate-3 beta-yl oleate (PMCA oleate) and dioleyl fluorescein, into heptane-extracted LDL. Both fluorescent lipoprotein preparations were shown to be useful probes for visualizing the receptor-mediated endocytosis of LDL in cultured human fibroblasts. When normal fibroblasts were incubated at 37 degrees C with either of the fluorescent LDL preparations, fluorescent granules accumulated in the perinuclear region of the cell. In contrast, fibroblasts from patients with the homozygous form of familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) that lack functional LDL receptors did not accumulate visible fluorescent granules when incubated with the fluorescent reconstituted LDL. A fluorescence-activated cell sorter was used to quantify the fluorescence intensity of individual cells that had been incubated with LDL reconstituted with dioleyl fluorescein. With this technique a population of normal fibroblasts could be distinguished from a population of FH fibroblasts. The current studies demonstrate the feasibility of using fluorescent reconstituted LDL in conjunction with the cell sorter to isolate mutant cells lacking functional LDL receptors.  相似文献
