A palladium‐catalyzed method for the decarboxylative ortho C?H acylation of N‐sulfoximine benzamides is developed at room temperature. The catalytic method enables easy access to various functionalized 2‐aroylaromatic carboxylic acid derivatives in good isolated yields. Based on our mechanistic studies, a Pd(II)/Pd(IV) catalytic cycle that involves aroyl radical intermediate is proposed for the reaction. 相似文献

A direct ortho‐Csp2‐H acylmethylation of 2‐aryl‐2,3‐dihydrophthalazine‐1,4‐diones with α‐carbonyl sulfoxonium ylides is achieved through a RuII‐catalyzed C?H bond activation process. The protocol featured high functional group tolerance on the two substrates, including aryl‐, heteroaryl‐, and alkyl‐substituted α‐carbonyl sulfoxonium ylides. Thereafter, 2‐(ortho‐acylmethylaryl)‐2,3‐dihydrophthalazine‐1,4‐diones were used as potential starting materials for the expeditious synthesis of 6‐arylphthalazino[2,3‐a]cinnoline‐8,13‐diones and 5‐acyl‐5,6‐dihydrophthalazino[2,3‐a]cinnoline‐8,13‐diones under Lawesson's reagent and BF3?OEt2 mediated conditions, respectively. Of these, the BF3?OEt2‐mediated cyclization proceeded in DMSO as a solvent and a methylene source via dual C?C and C?N bond formations. 相似文献

Substituted aromatic ketoximes reacted efficiently with allylic acetates in the presence of {[RuCl2(p‐cymene)]2} and AgSbF6 in 1,2‐dichloroethane at ambient temperature, providing ortho‐allyl aromatic ketoximes in a highly regioselective manner without an oxidant. In the reaction, the acetate group of allyl acetate acts as a base to activate the C?H bond of aromatics. Later, ortho‐allyl aromatic ketoximes were converted into ortho‐allyl aromatic ketones in the presence of HCl. 相似文献

Hypervalent‐iodine‐mediated oxidative coupling of the two aryl groups in either 2‐acylamino‐N‐phenyl‐benzamides or 2‐hydroxy‐N‐phenylbenzamides, with concomitant insertion of the ortho‐substituted N or O atom into the tether, has been described for the first time. This unusual metal‐free rearrangement reaction involves an oxidative C(sp2)? C(sp2) aryl–aryl bond formation, cleavage of a C(sp2)? C(O) bond, and a lactamization/lactonization. Furthermore, unsymmetrical diaryl compounds can be easily obtained by removing the tether within the cyclized product. 相似文献

The rhodium‐catalyzed amidation of substituted benzoic acids with isocyanates by directed C?H functionalization followed by decarboxylation to afford the corresponding N‐aryl benzamides is demonstrated, in which the carboxylate serves as a unique, removable directing group. Notably, less common meta‐substituted N‐aryl benzamides are generated readily from more accessible para‐ or ortho‐substituted groups by employing this strategy. 相似文献

A RhIII‐catalyzed direct ortho‐C?H amidation/amination of benzoic acids with N‐chlorocarbamates/N‐chloromorpholines was achieved, giving anthranilic acids in up to 85 % yields with excellent ortho‐selectivity and functional‐group tolerance. Successful benzoic acid aminations were achieved with carbamates bearing various amide groups including NHCO2Me, NHCbz, and NHTroc (Cbz=carbobenzyloxy; Troc=trichloroethylchloroformate), as well as secondary amines, such as morpholines, piperizines, and piperidines, furnishing highly functionalized anthranilic acids. A stoichiometric reaction of a cyclometallated rhodium(III) complex of benzo[h]quinoline with a silver salt of N‐chlorocarbamate afforded an amido–rhodium(III) complex, which was isolated and structurally characterized by X‐ray crystallography. This finding confirmed that the C?N bond formation results from the cross‐coupling of N‐chlorocarbamate with the aryl–rhodium(III) complex. Yet, the mechanistic details regarding the C?N bond formation remain unclear; pathways involving 1,2‐aryl migration and rhodium(V)– nitrene are plausible. 相似文献

The palladium‐catalyzed arylation/alkylation of ortho‐C?H bonds in N‐benzoyl α‐amino ester derivatives is described. In such a system both the NH‐amido and the CO2R groups in the α‐amino ester moieties play a role in successful C?H activation/C?C bond formation using iodoaryl coupling partners. A wide variety of functional groups and electron‐rich/deficient iodoarenes are tolerated. The yields obtained range from 20 to 95 %. 相似文献

Ruthenium–Porphyrin‐Catalyzed Diastereoselective Intramolecular Alkyl Carbene Insertion into CH Bonds of Alkyl Diazomethanes Generated In Situ from N‐Tosylhydrazones 下载免费PDF全文
Zhen Guo Jinhu Wei Prof. Dr. Chi‐Ming Che 《Angewandte Chemie (International ed. in English)》2014,53(51):14175-14180
With a ruthenium–porphyrin catalyst, alkyl diazomethanes generated in situ from N‐tosylhydrazones efficiently underwent intramolecular C(sp3)? H insertion of an alkyl carbene to give substituted tetrahydrofurans and pyrrolidines in up to 99 % yield and with up to 99:1 cis selectivity. The reaction displays good tolerance of many functionalities, and the procedure is simple without the need for slow addition with a syringe pump. From a synthetic point of view, the C? H insertion of N‐tosylhydrazones can be viewed as reductive coupling between a C?O bond and a C? H bond to form a new C? C bond, since N‐tosylhydrazones can be readily prepared from carbonyl compounds. This reaction was successfully applied in a concise synthesis of (±)‐pseudoheliotridane. 相似文献

Transition‐metal‐mediated metalation of an aromatic C?H bond that is adjacent to a tertiary phosphine group in arylphosphines via a four‐membered chelate ring was first discovered in 1968. Herein, we overcome a long‐standing problem with the ortho‐C?H activation of arylphosphines in a catalytic fashion. In particular, we developed a rhodium‐catalyzed ortho‐selective C?H borylation of various commercially available arylphosphines with B2pin2 through PIII‐chelation‐assisted C?H activation. This discovery is suggestive of a generic platform that could enable the late‐stage modification of readily accessible arylphosphines. 相似文献

The C‐alkyl groups of cationic triruthenium cluster complexes of the type [Ru3(μ‐H)(μ‐κ2N1,C2 ‐L)(CO)10]+ (HL represents a generic C‐alkyl‐N‐methylpyrazium species) have been deprotonated to give kinetic products that contain unprecedented C‐alkylidene derivatives and maintain the original edge‐bridged decacarbonyl structure. When the starting complexes contain various C‐alkyl groups, the selectivity of these deprotonation reactions is related to the atomic charges of the alkyl H atoms, as suggested by DFT/natural‐bond orbital (NBO) calculations. Three additional electronic properties of the C‐alkyl C? H bonds have also been found to correlate with the experimental regioselectivity because, in all cases, the deprotonated C? H bond has the smallest electron density at the bond critical point, the greatest Laplacian of the electron density at the bond critical point, and the greatest total energy density ratio at the bond critical point (computed by using the quantum theory of atoms in molecules, QTAIM). The kinetic decacarbonyl products evolve, under appropriate reaction conditions that depend upon the position of the C‐alkylidene group in the heterocyclic ring, toward face‐capped nonacarbonyl derivatives (thermodynamic products). The position of the C‐alkylidene group in the heterocyclic ring determines the distribution of single and double bonds within the ligand ring, which strongly affects the stability of the neutral decacarbonyl complexes and the way these ligands coordinate to the metal atoms in the nonacarbonyl products. The mechanisms of these decacarbonylation processes have been investigated by DFT methods, which have rationalized the structures observed for the final products and have shed light on the different kinetic and thermodynamic stabilities of the reaction intermediates, thus explaining the reaction conditions experimentally required by each transformation. 相似文献

A variety of N‐alkyl‐α,α‐dichloroaldimines were vinylated by terminal acetylenes in the presence of Lewis acids such as In(OTf)3 or BF3 ? OEt2 and hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) as an additive. The reaction proceeds at ambient temperature and leads to geometrically pure allylic β,β‐dichloroamines. This approach is complementary to previously reported transition‐metal‐catalyzed vinyl‐transfer methods, which are not applicable to aliphatic imines and are restricted to imines that contain an electron‐withdrawing nitrogen substituent. In the present approach, terminal alkynes were used as a source of the vinyl residue, and the N‐alkyl moiety of the imine acts as a sacrificial hydrogen donor. The additional advantage of this methodology is the fact that no external toxic or hazardous reducing agents or molecular hydrogen has to be used. This new methodology nicely combines a C(sp2)? C(sp) bond formation, hydride transfer, and an unusual cleavage of an unactivated C? N bond, thereby giving rise to functionalized primary allylic amines. A detailed experimental study supported by DFT calculations of the mechanism has been done. 相似文献

A zinc‐catalyzed combined C? X and C? H borylation of aryl halides using B2pin2 (pin=OCMe2CMe2O) to produce the corresponding 1,2‐diborylarenes under mild conditions was developed. Catalytic C? H bond activation occurs ortho to the halide groups if such a site is available or meta to the halide if the ortho position is already substituted. This method thus represents a novel use of a group XII catalyst for C? H borylation. This transformation does not proceed via a free aryne intermediate, but a radical process seems to be involved. 相似文献

A novel palladium catalyzed direct ortho‐arylation of N‐phenacylpyridinium bromide was developed. The amazing N‐phenacyl group regioselectively activates the C? H bond of pyridine and automatically departs from the arylated products. A kinetic isotope effect study proved that the reaction went through a C? H‐bond activation pathway and 2,6‐diphenylpyridine was produced stepwise from 2‐phenylpyridine. 相似文献

Mechanochemical conditions have been applied to an iridium(III)‐catalyzed C?H bond amidation process for the first time. In the absence of solvent, the mechanochemical activation enables the formation of an iridium species that catalyzes the ortho‐selective amidation of benzamides with sulfonyl azides as the nitrogen source. As the reaction proceeds in the absence of organic solvents without external heating and yields the desired products in excellent yields within short reaction times, this method constitutes a powerful, fast, and environmentally benign alternative to the common solvent‐based standard approaches. 相似文献

In the presence of a catalyst system consisting of Pd(OAc)2, PCy3, and Zn(OAc)2, the reaction of alkynyl aryl ethers with bicycloalkenes, α,ß‐unsaturated esters, or heteroarenes results in the site‐selective cleavage of two C? H bonds followed by the formation of C? C bonds. In all cases, the alkynyloxy group acts as a directing group for the activation of an ortho C? H bond and as a hydrogen acceptor, thus rendering the use of additives such as an oxidant or base unnecessary. 相似文献

The N‐tosylcarboxamide group can direct the room‐temperature palladium‐catalyzed C?H alkoxylation and halogenation of substituted arenes in a simple and mild procedure. The room‐temperature stoichiometric cyclopalladation of N‐tosylbenzamide was first studied, and the ability of the palladacycle to react with oxidants to form C?X and C?O bonds under mild conditions was demonstrated. The reaction conditions were then adapted to promote room‐temperature ortho‐alkoxylations and ortho‐halogenations of N‐tosylbenzamides using palladium as catalyst. The scope and limitation of both alkoxylations and halogenations was studied and the subsequent functional transformation of the N‐tosylcarboxamide group through nucleophilic additions was evaluated. This methodology offers a simple and mild route to diversely functionalized arenes. 相似文献

Palladium‐Catalyzed Cascade CH Trifluoroethylation of Aryl Iodides and Heck Reaction: Efficient Synthesis of ortho‐Trifluoroethylstyrenes 下载免费PDF全文

A palladium‐catalyzed selective C? H bond trifluoroethylation of aryl iodides has been explored. The reaction allows for the efficient synthesis of a variety of ortho‐trifluoroethyl‐substituted styrenes. Preliminary mechanistic studies indicate that the reaction might involve a key PdIV intermediate, which is generated through the rate‐determining oxidative addition of CF3CH2I to a palladacycle; the bulky nature of CF3CH2I influences the reactivity. Reductive elimination from the PdIV complex then leads to the formation of the aryl–CH2CF3 bond. 相似文献
