In this paper, the sequence spaces e0^τ(u, p) and ec^τ(u, p) of non-absolute type which are the generalization of the Maddox sequence spaces have been introduced and it is proved that the spaces e0^τ(u,p) and ec^τ(u,p) are linearly isomorphic to spaces co(p) and c(p), respectively. Furthermore, the α-, β- and γ-duals of the spaces 0^τ(u,p) and ec^τ(u,p) have been computed and their bases have been constructed and some topological properties of these spaces have been investigated. Besides this, the class of matrices (e0^τ)(u, p) : μ) has been characterized, where μ is one of the sequence spaces l∞, c and co and derives the other characterizations for the special cases of μ. In the last section, Euler Core of a complex-valued sequence has been introduced, and we prove some inclusion theorems related to this new type of core.  相似文献

Kizmaz [13] studied the difference sequence spaces e∞(△), c(△), and c0(△).Several article dealt with the sets of sequences of m-th order difference of which are bounded, convergent, or convergent to zero. Altay and Basar [5] and Altay, Basar, and Mursaleen [7] introduced the Euler sequence spaces eτ0, eτ0, andeτ∞, respectively. The main purpose of this article is to introduce the spaces eτ0(△(m)), eτc(△(m)), and eτ∞(△(m)) consisting of all sequences whose mth order differences are in the Euler spaces eτ0, eτc, and eτ∞, respectively. Moreover, the authors give some topological properties and inclusion relations, and determine the α-, β-, and γ-duals of the spaces eτ0(△(m)), eτc(△(m)), and eτ∞(△(m)), and the Schauder basis of the spaces eτ0(△(m)), eτc(△(m)). The last section of the article is devoted to the characterization of some matrix mappings on the sequence space eτc(△(m)).  相似文献

Hurwitz moduli spaces for G-covers of the projective line have two classical variants whether G-covers are considered modulo the action of PGL2 on the base or not. A central result of this paper is that, given an integer r ≥ 3 there exists a bound d(r) ≥ 1 depending only on r such that any rational point p rd of a reduced (i.e., modulo PGL2) Hurwitz space can be lifted to a rational point p on the nonreduced Hurwitz space with [κ(p): κ(p rd)] ≤ d(r). This result can also be generalized to infinite towers of Hurwitz spaces. Introducing a new Galois invariant for G-covers, which we call the base invariant, we improve this result for G-covers with a nontrivial base invariant. For the sublocus corresponding to such G-covers the bound d(r) can be chosen depending only on the base invariant (no longer on r) and ≤ 6. When r = 4, our method can still be refined to provide effective criteria to lift k-rational points from reduced to nonreduced Hurwitz spaces. This, in particular, leads to a rigidity criterion, a genus 0 method and, what we call an expansion method to realize finite groups as regular Galois groups over ℚ. Some specific examples are given.  相似文献

LetG/K be the noncompact Riemannian symmetric spaceSL(3,H)/Sp(3). We shall prove in this paper that forf∈L p(SL(3,H)/Sp(3)), 1≤p≤2, the Riesz means of orderz off with respect to the eigenfunctions expansion of Laplace operator almost everywhere converge tof for Rez >δ(n,p). The critical index δ(n,p) is the same as in the classical Stein's result for Euclidean space, and as in the noncompact symmetric spaces of rank one and of complex type. It will be shown that a normed partially ordered vector space is linearly, norm, and order isomorphic to a subspace of a normed Riesz space if and only if its positive cone is closed and its norm p satisfies p(x)p(y) for all x and y with -yxy. A similar characterization of the subspaces of M-normed Riesz spaces is given. With aid of the first characterization, Krein's lemma on directedness of norm dual spaces can be directly derived from the result for normed Riesz spaces. Further properties of the norms ensuing from the characterization theorem are investigated. Also a generalization of the notion of Riesz norm is studied as an analogue of the r-norm from the theory of spaces of operators. Both classes of norms are used to extend results on spaces of operators between normed Riesz spaces to a setting with partially ordered vector spaces. Finally, a partial characterization of the subspaces of Riesz spaces with Riesz seminorms is given.  相似文献

In the present paper, we define the difference sequence space r q (p, Δ), which is defined as follows:
where r q (p) is the Riesz sequence space given by Altay and Basşar. We give some topological properties and compute the α-, β- duals of this space.   相似文献

Stein’s higher Riesz transforms are translation invariant operators on L 2(R n ) built from multipliers whose restrictions to the unit sphere are eigenfunctions of the Laplace–Beltrami operators. In this article, generalizing Stein’s higher Riesz transforms, we construct a family of translation invariant operators by using discrete series representations for hyperboloids associated to the indefinite quadratic form of signature (p,q). We prove that these operators extend to L r -bounded operators for 1<r<∞ if the parameter of the discrete series representations is generic.  相似文献

Spaces of analytic functions of Hardy-Bloch type   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
For 0<p≤∞ and 0<q≤∞, the space of Hardy-Bloch type ℬ(p,q) consists of those functionsf which are analytic in the unit diskD such that (1−r)M p (r,f′)⊂L q (dr/(1−r)). We note that ℬ(∞,∞) coincides with the Bloch space ℬ and that ℬ⊂ℬ(p,∞) for allp. Also, the space ℬ(p,p) is the Dirichlet spaceD p−1 p . We prove a number of results on decomposition of spaces with logarithmic weights which allow us to obtain sharp results about the mean growth of the ℬ(p,q). In particular, we prove that iff is an analytic function inD and 2≤p<∞, then the conditionM p (r,f′)=O((1−r)−1), asr→1, implies that
. This result is an improvement of the well-known estimate of Clunie and MacGregor and Makarov about the integral means of Bloch functions, and it also improves the main result in a recent paper by Girela and Peláez. We also consider the question of characterizing the univalent functions in the spaces ℬ(p,2), 0<p<∞, and in some other related spaces and give some applications of our estimates to study the Carleson measures for the spaces ℬ(p,2) andD p−1 p . Forp≥3 a prime, we compute theQ-rational cuspidal subgroupC(p r ) of the JacobianJ 0(p r ) of the modular curveX 0(p r ). This result is then applied to determine the component group Φ p r of the Néron model ofJ 0(p r ) overZ p . This extends results of Lorenzini [7]. We also study the action of the Atkin-Lehner involution on thep-primary part ofC(p r ), as well as the effect of degeneracy maps on the component groups.  相似文献

In this article we show thatL p(L r) is primary forp andr in ]1,+∞[. If (h k) k≧1 denote the Haar basis, we begin with a study of the sequence (h kh i) and, in particular, the space generated by a subsequence of this sequence. In the first part we study the base ofL p(L r) and in the second part we show that this space is primary.  相似文献

Let P be a polygon in ℤ2 and consider the mapping of an L1(\mathbbT2)L^{1}(\mathbb{T}^{2}) function into the partial sum of its Fourier series determined by the dilate of P by the integer N. If the image space is endowed with the L p norm, 1<p<∞, then the operator norm will be given by the L p norm of ∑(m,n)∈NP e 2π i(mx+ny). The size of this operator norm is shown to be O(N 2(1−1/p)) when the polygon is a triangle. The estimate is independent of the shape of the triangle. For a k sided polygon the corresponding estimate is O(kN 2(1−1/p)).  相似文献

We give here some properties of the sets α(uΔ) generalizing the space of generalized difference sequencesl (uΔ). Then we study spaces related to the sets of sequences that are strongly convergent or strongly bounded. Next we define from the sets of spaces that are (N,q) summable or bounded the sets of spaces that are (N,q)α-bounded orr-bounded. Then we give some properties of these spaces using Banach space of the forms α.  相似文献

An elementary proof of the (known) fact that each element of the Banach space w p (X) of weakly absolutelyp-summable sequences (if 1≤p<∞) in the Banach spaceX is the norm limit of its sections if and only if each element of w p (X) is a norm null sequence inX, is given. Little modification to this proof leads to a similar result for a family of Orlicz sequence spaces. Some applications to spaces of compact operators on Banach sequence spaces are considered.  相似文献

In this article we show that if 1<p, r<∞, the spaceL p (l r ) is primary. If we let (h k ) be the Haar system inL p and (e i ) the usual base ofl r , we give sufficient conditions on a subsequence of (h k e i ) k ≧1,i≧1 for it to generate a space isomorphic toL p (l r ). We deduce the primarity ofL p (l r ).   相似文献

In this paper we establish dimension freeL p (ℝ n ,|x|α) norm inequalities (1<p<∞) for the oscillation and variation of the Riesz transforms in ℝ n . In doing so we findA p -weighted norm inequalities for the oscillation and the variation of the Hilbert transform in ℝ. Some weighted transference results are also proved. The two-dimensional classical Hardy space Hp(T×T) on the bidisc are introduced, and it is shown that the maximal operator of the (C,α,β) means of a distribution is bounded from the space Hp(T×T) to Lp(T2) (1/(α+1), 1/(β+1)<p≤∞), and is of weak type (H 1 # (T×T), L1(T2)), where the Hardy space H 1 # (T×T) is defined by the hybrid maximal function. As a consequence we obtain that the (C, α, β) means of a function f∈H 1 # (T×T)⊃LlogL(T 2) convergs a. e. to the function in question. Moreover, we prove that the (C, α, β) means are uniformly bounded on the spaces Hp(T×T) whenever 1/(α+1), 1(β+1)<p<∞. Thus, in case f∈Hp(T×T), the (C, α, β) means convergs to f in Hp(T×T) norm whenever (1/(α+1), 1/(β+1)<p<∞). The same results are proved for the conjugate (C, α, β) means, too.  相似文献

We present here that F(E,F), the space of all r-compact operators from E into F, is a generalised sublattice of L^r(E, F) for arbitary Banach lattices E and F, and that the characterization of the regular norm on F(E, F) is order continuous. Some conditions for F(E, F) to be a KB-space or a band in .L(E, F) are also provided.  相似文献

If (X, p) and (Y, q) are two asymmetric normed spaces, the set LC(X, Y) of all continuous linear mappings from (X, p) to (Y, q) is not necessarily a linear space, it is a cone. If X and Y are two Banach lattices and p and q are, respectively, their associated asymmetric norms (p(x) = ‖+‖, q(y) = ‖y +‖), we prove that the positive operators from X to Y are elements of the cone LC(X, Y). We also study the dual space of an asymmetric normed space and finally we give open mapping and closed graph type theorems in the framework of asymmetric normed spaces. The classical results for normed spaces follow as particular cases.
