2‐Phenylethanol, racemic 1‐phenyl‐2‐propanol, and 2‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐2‐propanol have been pyrolyzed in a static system over the temperature range 449.3–490.6°C and pressure range 65–198 torr. The decomposition reactions of these alcohols in seasoned vessels are homogeneous, unimolecular, and follow a first‐order rate law. The Arrhenius equations for the overall decomposition and partial rates of products formation were found as follows: for 2‐phenylethanol, overall rate log k1(s−1)=12.43−228.1 kJ mol−1 (2.303 RT)−1, toluene formation log k1(s−1)=12.97−249.2 kJ mol−1 (2.303 RT)−1, styrene formation log k1(s−1)=12.40−229.2 kJ mol−1(2.303 RT)−1, ethylbenzene formation log k1(s−1)=12.96−253.2 kJ mol−1(2.303 RT)−1; for 1‐phenyl‐2‐propanol, overall rate log k1(s−1)=13.03−233.5 kJ mol−1(2.303 RT)−1, toluene formation log k1(s−1)=13.04−240.1 kJ mol−1(2.303 RT)−1, unsaturated hydrocarbons+indene formation log k1(s−1)=12.19−224.3 kJ mol−1(2.303 RT)−1; for 2‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐2‐propanol, overall rate log k1(s−1)=12.68−222.1 kJ mol−1(2.303 RT)−1, toluene formation log k1(s−1)=12.65−222.9 kJ mol−1(2.303 RT)−1, phenylpropenes formation log k1(s−1)=12.27−226.2 kJ mol−1(2.303 RT)−1. The overall decomposition rates of the 2‐hydroxyalkylbenzenes show a small but significant increase from primary to tertiary alcohol reactant. Two competitive eliminations are shown by each of the substrates: the dehydration process tends to decrease in relative importance from the primary to the tertiary alcohol substrate, while toluene formation increases. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Substitution reactions of a Cl ligand in [SnCl2(tpp)] (tpp=5,10,15,20‐tetraphenyl‐21H,23H‐porphinato(2−)) by five organic bases i.e., butylamine (BuNH2), sec‐butylamine (sBuNH2), tert‐butylamine (tBuNH2), dibutylamine (Bu2NH), and tributylamine (Bu3N), as entering nucleophile in dimethylformamide at I=0.1M (NaNO3) and 30–55° were studied. The second‐order rate constants for the substitution of a Cl ligand were found to be (36.86±1.14)⋅10−3, (32.91±0.79)⋅10−3, (22.21±0.58)⋅10−3, (19.09±0.66)⋅10−3, and (1.36±0.08)⋅10−3 M −1s−1 at 40° for BuNH2, tBuNH2, sBuNH2, Bu2NH, and Bu3N, respectively. In a temperature‐dependence study, the activation parameters ΔH and ΔS for the reaction of [SnCl2(tpp)] with the organic bases were determined as 38.61±4.79 kJ mol−1 and −150.40±15.46 J K−1mol−1 for BuNH2, 40.95±4.79 kJ mol−1 and −143.75±15.46 J K−1mol−1 for tBuNH2, 30.88±2.43 kJ mol−1 and −179.00±7.82 J K−1mol−1 for sBuNH2, 26.56±2.97 kJ mol−1 and −194.05±9.39 J K−1mol−1 for Bu2NH, and 39.37±2.25 kJ mol−1 and −174.68±7.07 J K−1 mol−1 for Bu3N. From the linear rate dependence on the concentration of the bases, the span of k2 values, and the large negative values of the activation entropy, an associative (A) mechanism is deduced for the ligand substitution.  相似文献

A new energetic material, 4,5‐diacetoxyl‐2‐(dinitromethylene)‐imidazolidine (DADNI), was synthesized by the reaction of 4,5‐dihydroxyl‐2‐(dinitromethylene)‐imidazolidine (DDNI) and acetic anhydride, and characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction. Crystal data for DADNI are monoclinic, space group C2/c, a=15.9167(3) Å, b=8.6816(4) Å, c=8.5209(3) Å, β=103.294(9)°, V=1145.9(3) Å3, Z=4, µ=0.150 mm−1, F(000)=600, Dc=1.682 g·cm−3, R1=0.0565 and wR2=0.1649. Thermal decomposition behavior of DADNI was studied and an intensely exothermic process was observed. The kinetic equation of the decomposition reaction is: dα/dT=(1016.64/β)×4α3/4exp(−1.582×105/RT). The critical temperature of thermal explosion is 163.76°C. The specific heat capacity of DADNI was studied with micro‐DSC method and theoretical calculation method. The molar heat capacity is 343.30 J·mol−1·K−1 at 298.15 K. The adiabatic time‐to‐explosion of DADNI was calculated to be 87.7 s.  相似文献

The thermal behavior of Tb2 (p‐MBA)6(phen)2 (p‐MBA=p‐methylbenzoate; phen=1,10‐phenanthroline) in a static air atmosphere was investigated by TG‐DTG, SEM and IR techniques. The thermal decomposition of the Tb2(p‐MBA)6(phen)2 occurred in three consecutive stages at TP of 354, 457 and 595 °C. By Malek method, RO (n<1) was defined as kinetic model for the first‐step thermal decomposition. The activation energy (E) of this step is 170.21 kJ·mol‐1, the enthalpy of activation (ΔH) 164.98 kJ·mol‐1, the Gibbs free energy of activation (ΔG) 145.04 kJ·mol‐1, the entropy of activation (ΔS) 31.77 J·mol‐1·K‐1, and the pre‐exponential factor (A) 1015.21 s‐1.  相似文献

A diverse set of 2 e/2 H+ reactions are described that interconvert [RuII(bpy)(en*)2]2+ and [RuIV(bpy)(en‐H*)2]2+ (bpy=2,2′‐bipyridine, en*=H2NCMe2CMe2NH2, en*‐H=H2NCMe2CMe2NH), forming or cleaving different O−H, N−H, S−H, and C−H bonds. The reactions involve quinones, hydrazines, thiols, and 1,3‐cyclohexadiene. These proton‐coupled electron transfer reactions occur without substrate binding to the ruthenium center, but instead with precursor complex formation by hydrogen bonding. The free energies of the reactions vary over more than 90 kcal mol−1, but the rates are more dependent on the type of X−H bond involved than the associated ΔG °. There is a kinetic preference for substrates that have the transferring hydrogen atoms in close proximity, such as ortho ‐tetrachlorobenzoquinone over its para ‐isomer and 1,3‐cyclohexadiene over its 1,4‐isomer, perhaps hinting at the potential for concerted 2 e/2 H+ transfers.  相似文献

The energetic ionic salt bis(1‐aminoguanidin‐2‐ium) 5,5′‐[1,2,4,5‐tetrazine‐3,6‐diylbis(azanediyl)]bis(1H‐1,2,3,4‐tetrazol‐1‐ide) dihydrate, 2CH7N4+·C4H2N142−·2H2O, (I), with a high nitrogen content, has been synthesized and examined by elemental analysis, Fourier transform IR spectrometry, 1H NMR spectroscopy and single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography. Compound (I) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P 21/c with two water molecules. However, the water molecules are disordered about an inversion centre and were modelled as half‐occupancy molecules in the structure. The crystal structure reveals a three‐dimensional network of molecules linked through N—H…N, N—H…O, O—H…N and O—H…O hydrogen bonds. Thermal decomposition was investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The exothermic peak temperature is 509.72 K, which indicates that hydrated salt (I) exhibits good thermal stability. Non‐isothermal reaction kinetic parameters were calculated via both the Kissinger and the Ozawa methods to yield activation energies of E k = 239.07 kJ mol−1, lgA k = 22.79 s−1 and E O = 235.38 kJ mol−1 for (I). Additionally, the thermal safety was evaluated by calculating critical temperatures and thermodynamic values, viz. T SADT, T TIT, T b, ΔS , ΔH and ΔG . The results reveal that (I) exhibits good thermal safety compared to other ion salts of 3,6‐bis[(1H‐1,2,3,4‐tetrazol‐5‐yl)amino]‐1,2,4,5‐tetrazine (BTATz).  相似文献

Crystals of poly[[aqua[μ3‐4‐carboxy‐1‐(4‐carboxylatobenzyl)‐2‐propyl‐1H‐imidazole‐5‐carboxylato‐κ5O1O1′:N3,O4:O5][μ4‐1‐(4‐carboxylatobenzyl)‐2‐propyl‐1H‐imidazole‐4‐carboxylato‐κ7N3,O4:O4,O4′:O1,O1′:O1]cadmium(II)] monohydrate], {[Cd2(C15H14N2O4)(C16H14N2O6)(H2O)]·H2O}n or {[Cd2(Hcpimda)(cpima)(H2O)]·H2O}n, (I), were obtained from 1‐(4‐carboxybenzyl)‐2‐propyl‐1H‐imidazole‐4,5‐dicarboxylic acid (H3cpimda) and cadmium(II) chloride under hydrothermal conditions. The structure indicates that in‐situ decarboxylation of H3cpimda occurred during the synthesis process. The asymmetric unit consists of two Cd2+ centres, one 4‐carboxy‐1‐(4‐carboxylatobenzyl)‐2‐propyl‐1H‐imidazole‐5‐carboxylate (Hcpimda2−) anion, one 1‐(4‐carboxylatobenzyl)‐2‐propyl‐1H‐imidazole‐4‐carboxylate (cpima2−) anion, one coordinated water molecule and one lattice water molecule. One Cd2+ centre, i.e. Cd1, is hexacoordinated and displays a slightly distorted octahedral CdN2O4 geometry. The other Cd centre, i.e. Cd2, is coordinated by seven O atoms originating from one Hcpimda2− ligand and three cpima2− ligands. This Cd2+ centre can be described as having a distorted capped octahedral coordination geometry. Two carboxylate groups of the benzoate moieties of two cpima2− ligands bridge between Cd2 centres to generate [Cd2O2] units, which are further linked by two cpima2− ligands to produce one‐dimensional (1D) infinite chains based around large 26‐membered rings. Meanwhile, adjacent Cd1 centres are linked by Hcpimda2− ligands to generate 1D zigzag chains. The two types of chains are linked through a μ2‐η2 bidentate bridging mode from an O atom of an imidazole carboxylate unit of cpima2− to give a two‐dimensional (2D) coordination polymer. The simplified 2D net structure can be described as a 3,6‐coordinated net which has a (43)2(46.66.83) topology. Furthermore, the FT–IR spectroscopic properties, photoluminescence properties, powder X‐ray diffraction (PXRD) pattern and thermogravimetric behaviour of the polymer have been investigated.  相似文献

We report that 2,6‐lutidine?trichloroborane (Lut?BCl3) reacts with H2 in toluene, bromobenzene, dichloromethane, and Lut solvents producing the neutral hydride, Lut?BHCl2. The mechanism was modeled with density functional theory, and energies of stationary states were calculated at the G3(MP2)B3 level of theory. Lut?BCl3 was calculated to react with H2 and form the ion pair, [LutH+][HBCl3?], with a barrier of ΔH=24.7 kcal mol?1G=29.8 kcal mol?1). Metathesis with a second molecule of Lut?BCl3 produced Lut?BHCl2 and [LutH+][BCl4?]. The overall reaction is exothermic by 6.0 kcal mol?1rG°=?1.1). Alternate pathways were explored involving the borenium cation (LutBCl2+) and the four‐membered boracycle [(CH2{NC5H3Me})BCl2]. Barriers for addition of H2 across the Lut/LutBCl2+ pair and the boracycle B?C bond are substantially higher (ΔG=42.1 and 49.4 kcal mol?1, respectively), such that these pathways are excluded. The barrier for addition of H2 to the boracycle B?N bond is comparable (ΔH=28.5 and ΔG=32 kcal mol?1). Conversion of the intermediate 2‐(BHCl2CH2)‐6‐Me(C5H3NH) to Lut?BHCl2 may occur by intermolecular steps involving proton/hydride transfers to Lut/BCl3. Intramolecular protodeboronation, which could form Lut?BHCl2 directly, is prohibited by a high barrier (ΔH=52, ΔG=51 kcal mol?1).  相似文献

π‐Conjugated organic materials exhibit high and tunable nonlinear optical (NLO) properties, and fast response times. 4′‐Phenyl‐2,2′:6′,2′′‐terpyridine (PTP) is an important N‐heterocyclic ligand involving π‐conjugated systems, however, studies concerning the third‐order NLO properties of terpyridine transition metal complexes are limited. The title binuclear terpyridine CoII complex, bis(μ‐4,4′‐oxydibenzoato)‐κ3O,O′:O′′;κ3O′′:O,O′‐bis[(4′‐phenyl‐2,2′:6′,2′′‐terpyridine‐κ3N,N′,N′′)cobalt(II)], [Co2(C14H8O5)2(C21H15N3)2], (1), has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. In the crystal structure, each CoII cation is surrounded by three N atoms of a PTP ligand and three O atoms, two from a bidentate and one from a symmetry‐related monodentate 4,4′‐oxydibenzoate (ODA2−) ligand, completing a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. Neighbouring [Co(PTP)]2+ units are bridged by ODA2− ligands to form a ring‐like structure. The third‐order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of (1) and PTP were determined in thin films using the Z‐scan technique. The title compound shows a strong third‐order NLO saturable absorption (SA), while PTP exhibits a third‐order NLO reverse saturable absorption (RSA). The absorptive coefficient β of (1) is −37.3 × 10−7 m W−1, which is larger than that (8.96 × 10−7 m W−1) of PTP. The third‐order NLO susceptibility χ(3) values are calculated as 6.01 × 10−8 e.s.u. for (1) and 1.44 × 10−8 e.s.u. for PTP.  相似文献

The kinetics of the reactions of ground state oxygen atoms with 1-pentene, 1-hexene, cis-2-pentene, and trans-2-pentene was investigated in the temperature range 200 to 370 K. In this range the temperature dependences of the rate constants can be represented by k = A′ Tn exp(− E′a/RT) with A′ = (1.0 ± 0.6) · 10−14 cm3 s−1, n = 1.13 ± 0.02, E′a = 0.54 ± 0.05 kJ mol−1 for 1-pentene: A′ = (1.3 ± 1.2) · 10−14 cm3 s−1, n = 1.04 ± 0.08, E′a = 0.2 ± 0.4 kJ mol−1 for 1-hexene; A′ = (0.6 ± 0.6) · 10−14 cm3 s−1, n = 1.12 ± 0.05, E′a = − 3.8 ± 0.8 kJ mol−1 for cis-2-pentene; and A′ = (0.6 ± 0.8) · 10−14 cm3 s−1, n = 1.14 ± 0.06, E′a = − 4.3 ± 0.5 kJ mol−1 for trans-2-pentene. The atoms were generated by the H2-laser photolysis of NO and detected by time resolved chemiluminescence in the presence of NO. The concentrations of the O(3P) atoms were kept so low that secondary reactions with products are unimportant. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

The title compound, [Cd3(C8H10O4)3(C12H9N3)2(H2O)2]n or [Cd3(chdc)3(4‐PyBIm)2(H2O)2]n, was synthesized hydrothermally from the reaction of Cd(CH3COO)2·2H2O with 2‐(pyridin‐4‐yl)‐1H‐benzimidazole (4‐PyBIm) and cyclohexane‐1,4‐dicarboxylic acid (1,4‐chdcH2). The asymmetric unit consists of one and a half CdII cations, one 4‐PyBIm ligand, one and a half 1,4‐chdc2− ligands and one coordinated water molecule. The central CdII cation, located on an inversion centre, is coordinated by six carboxylate O atoms from six 1,4‐chdc2− ligands to complete an elongated octahedral coordination geometry. The two terminal rotationally symmetric CdII cations each exhibits a distorted pentagonal–bipyramidal geometry, coordinated by one N atom from 4‐PyBIm, five O atoms from three 1,4‐chdc2− ligands and one O atom from an aqua ligand. The 1,4‐chdc2− ligands possess two conformations, i.e.e,etrans‐chdc2− and e,acis‐chdc2−. The cis‐1,4‐chdc2− ligands bridge the CdII cations to form a trinuclear {Cd3}‐based chain along the b axis, while the trans‐1,4‐chdc2− ligands further link adjacent one‐dimensional chains to construct an interesting two‐dimensional network.  相似文献

A combination of microvolumetry, the rotating sector method, ESR, 1H NMR, and IR allowed to establish a detailed mechanism of liquid‐phase oxidation of vinyl compounds X1CH=CHX2 and X1CH=CH–CH=CHX2 (X1 and X2—a polar substitute: С6Н5–, CO–, СOO–) initiated by azobisisobutyronitrile. A distinctive feature of the mechanism is the fact that the oxidation chain is carried out by a low‐molecular hydroperoxide radical joining the π‐bond. For nine compounds in the temperature range of 303–353 K, relative chain propagation and termination rate constants were measured (k 2k 3−0.5). Absolute values of k 2 were obtained for diphenylethylene (110 L·mol−1·s−1), ethyl ether of trans‐phenyl‐pentadiene acid (13 L·mol−1·s−1), and methyl ether of trans‐phenyl‐pentadiene acid (14.2 L·mol−1·s−1) at T = 323 K. For the same conditions, 10−8k 3 were calculated for diphenylethylene (0.87 L·mol−1·s−1) and methyl ether of trans‐phenyl‐pentadiene acid (1.21 L·mol−1·s−1). A cyclic mechanism of the oxidation chain termination on introduced antioxidants (stable nitroxyl radicals of the piperidine series ( > NO) and the transition metal compounds (Men )) was established. The inhibition factor (f ) showing how many reaction chains are terminated by the one particle of the antioxidant is equal to 102. The cyclic chain termination is caused by the following reactions: HO2 + > NO → NOH + O2, HO2● + NOH → >NO + H2O2 (for >NO) and HO2 + Men → Men +1 + HO2, HO2 + Men +1 → Men + H+ + O2 (for Men ).  相似文献

The thermal behavior and kinetic parameters of the exothermic decomposition reaction of N‐N‐bis[N‐(2,2,2‐tri‐nitroethyl)‐N‐nitro]ethylenediamine in a temperature‐programmed mode have been investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The results show that kinetic model function in differential form, apparent activation energy Ea and pre‐exponential factor A of this reaction are 3(1 ‐α)2/3, 203.67 kJ·mol?1 and 1020.61s?1, respectively. The critical temperature of thermal explosion of the compound is 182.2 °C. The values of ΔS ΔH and ΔG of this reaction are 143.3 J·mol?1·K?1, 199.5 kJ·mol?1 and 135.5 kJ·mol?1, respectively.  相似文献

The reaction of (diaqua)(N,N′‐ethylene‐bis(salicylidiniminato)manganese(III) with aqueous sulphite buffer results in the formation of the corresponding mono sulphito complex, [Mn(Salen)(SO3)] (S‐bonded isomer) via three distinct paths: (i) Mn(Salen)(OH2)2+ + HSO3 → (k1); (ii) Mn(Salen)(OH2)2+ + SO32− → (k2); (III) Mn(Salen)(OH2)(OH) + SO32− → (k3) in the stopped flow time scale. The fact that the mono sulphito complex does not undergo further anation with SO32−/HSO3 may be attributed to the strong trans‐activating influence of the S‐bonded sulphite. The values of the rate constants (10−2ki/dm2 mol−1 s−1 at 25°C, I = 0.3 mol dm−3), ΔHi#/kJ mol−1 and ΔSi#/J K−1 mol−1 respectively are: 2.97 ± 0.27, 42.4 ± 0.2, −55.3 ± 0.6 (i = 1); 11.0 ± 0.8, 33 ± 3, −75 ± 10 (i = 2); 20.6 ± 1.9, 32.4 ± 0.2, −72.9 ± 0.6 (i = 3). The trend in reactivity (k2 > k1), a small labilizing effect of the coordinated hydroxo group (k3/k2 < 2), and substantially low values of ΔS# suggest that the mechanism of aqua ligand substitution of the diaqua, and aqua‐hydroxo complexes is most likely associative interchange (Ia). No evidence for the formation of the O‐bonded sulphito complex and the ligand isomerization in the sulphito complex, (MnIII‐OSO2 → MnIII‐SO3), ensures the selectivity of the MnIII centre toward the S‐end of the SIV species. The monosulphito complex further undergoes slow redox reaction in the presence of excess sulphite to produce MnII, S2O62− and SO42−. The formation of dithionate is a consequence of the fast dimerization of the SO3−. generated in the rate determining step and also SO42− formation is attributed to the fast scavenging of the SO3−. by the MnIII species via a redox path. The internal reduction of the MnIII centre in the monosulphito complex is insignificant. The redox reaction of the monosulphitomanganese(III) complex operates via two major paths, one involving HSO3− and the other SO32−. The electron transfer is believed to be outersphere type. The substantially negative values of activation entropies (ΔS# = −(1.3 ± 0.2) × 102 and −(1.6 ± 0.2) × 102 J K−1 mol−1 for the paths involving HSO3− and SO32− respectively) reflect a considerable degree of ordering of the reactants in the act of electron transfer. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Single crystals of {[Cu(TO)2(H2O)2](NO3)2}n (TO: 1, 2, 4‐triazol‐5‐one) were grown by slow evaporation from aqueous solution. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbca, with a = 7.082(1), b = 10.285(1), c = 17.911(3)Å, V = 1304.6(3)Å3, Z = 4. The CuII distorted octahedra are bridged by bidentate TO ligands into infinite 2‐D interlaced rhombic grid‐like network planes, {[Cu(TO)2(H2O)2]2+}n. Hydrogen bonds, electrostatic interactions, and weak van der Waals' forces assemble these planes and the NO3 anions to a layered structure. The title compound decomposes at 153.4 °C to the final products, Cu(CN)2 and CuO.  相似文献

The electronic structure and redox properties of the highly oxidizing, isolable RuV?O complex [RuV(N4O)(O)]2+, its oxidation reactions with saturated alkanes (cyclohexane and methane) and inorganic substrates (hydrochloric acid and water), and its intermolecular coupling reaction have been examined by DFT calculations. The oxidation reactions with cyclohexane and methane proceed through hydrogen atom transfer in a transition state with a calculated free energy barrier of 10.8 and 23.8 kcal mol?1, respectively. The overall free energy activation barrier (ΔG=25.5 kcal mol?1) of oxidation of hydrochloric acid can be decomposed into two parts: the formation of [RuIII(N4O)(HOCl)]2+G=15.0 kcal mol?1) and the substitution of HOCl by a water molecule (ΔG=10.5 kcal mol?1). For water oxidation, nucleophilic attack on RuV?O by water, leading to O? O bond formation, has a free energy barrier of 24.0 kcal mol?1, the major component of which comes from the cleavage of the H? OH bond of water. Intermolecular self‐coupling of two molecules of [RuV(N4O)(O)]2+ leads to the [(N4O)RuIV? O2? RuIII(N4O)]4+ complex with a calculated free energy barrier of 12.0 kcal mol?1.  相似文献

The 2‐aminobenzothiazole sulfonation intermediate 2,3‐dihydro‐1,3‐benzothiazol‐2‐iminium monohydrogen sulfate, C7H7N2S+·HSO4, (I), and the final product 2‐iminio‐2,3‐dihydro‐1,3‐benzothiazole‐6‐sulfonate, C7H6N2O3S2, (II), both have the endocyclic N atom protonated; compound (I) exists as an ion pair and (II) forms a zwitterion. Intermolecular N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds are seen in both structures, with bonding energy (calculated on the basis of density functional theory) ranging from 1.06 to 14.15 kcal mol−1. Hydrogen bonding in (I) and (II) creates DDDD and C(8)C(9)C(9) first‐level graph sets, respectively. Face‐to‐face stacking interactions are observed in both (I) and (II), but they are extremely weak.  相似文献

2‐Amino‐3‐hydroxypyridinium dioxido(pyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylato‐κ3O2,N,O6)vanadate(V), (C5H7N2O)[V(C7H3NO4)O2] or [H(amino‐3‐OH‐py)][VO2(dipic)], (I), was prepared by the reaction of VCl3 with dipicolinic acid (dipicH2) and 2‐amino‐3‐hydroxypyridine (amino‐3‐OH‐py) in water. The compound was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and X‐ray structure analysis, and consists of an anionic [VO2(dipic)] complex and an H(amino‐3‐OH‐py)+ counter‐cation. The VV ion is five‐coordinated by one O,N,O′‐tridentate dipic dianionic ligand and by two oxide ligands. Thermal decomposition of (I) in the presence of polyethylene glycol led to the formation of nanoparticles of V2O5. Powder X‐ray diffraction (PXRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to characterize the structure and morphology of the synthesized powder.  相似文献

We theoretically design four diaza‐benzo[k]tetraphene‐based diradical isomers ( 1, 2, 3 , and 4 ) with two nitroxide (NO) radical groups as spin sources. The calculations at the B3LYP/6‐311++G(d,p) level suggest that the diaza doping can induce the aromaticity changes and the C C bond rearrangements and, thus, remarkably affect their magnetic coupling magnitudes and even characteristics (ferromagnetic vs. antiferromagnetic). More interestingly, different diaza‐doping positions can lead to distinctly different effects, and further dielectron‐oxidation can also noticeably change the magnetic coupling magnitudes from −919.9 cm−1 ( 1 ) to −158.3 cm−1 ( 1 2+ ) or from −105.1 cm−1 ( 3 ) to −918.9 cm−1 ( 3 2+ ) or induce the magnetic conversions from nonmagnetism ( 2 ) to antiferromagnetism ( 2 2+ , −140.1 cm−1) or from ferromagnetism ( 4 , 108.9 cm−1) to antiferromagnetism ( 4 2+ , −462.5 cm−1). Good matching of two singly occupied molecular orbitals (SOMOs) of the NO groups with the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) of the coupler (for 1 ), or with the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) of the coupler (for 3 2+ and 4 2+ ), available Kekulé structure (for 2 ), aromaticity variations are responsible to strong magnetic couplings. Besides, the HOMO‐LUMO energy gaps of the couplers also considerably affect the magnetic couplings. This work may open a new route for the rational design of the diaza‐benzo[k]tetraphene‐based magnetic molecular modulators or switches.  相似文献
