In the molecular structures of a series of substituted chalcones, namely (2E)‐3‐(2‐fluoro‐4‐phenoxyphenyl)‐1‐phenylprop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C21H15FO2, (I), (2E)‐3‐(2‐fluoro‐4‐phenoxyphenyl)‐1‐(4‐fluorophenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C21H14F2O2, (II), (2E)‐1‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐3‐(2‐fluoro‐4‐phenoxyphenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C21H14ClFO2, (III), (2E)‐3‐(2‐fluoro‐4‐phenoxyphenyl)‐1‐(4‐methylphenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C22H17FO2, (IV), and (2E)‐3‐(2‐fluoro‐4‐phenoxyphenyl)‐1‐(4‐methoxyphenyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C22H17FO3, (V), the configuration of the keto group with respect to the olefinic double bond is scis. The molecules pack utilizing weak C—H...O and C—H...π intermolecular contacts. Identical packing motifs involving C—H...O interactions, forming both chains and dimers, along with C—H...π dimers and π–π aromatic interactions are observed in the fluoro, chloro and methyl derivatives.  相似文献

1‐(Dicyanomethylene)acenaphthene‐2‐one ( 1 ) reacts with 1,8‐diaminonaphthalene ( 2 ) to yield two products, identified as acenaphtho[1,2‐b]naphtho[1,8‐ef][1,4]diazepine ( 3 ) and (Z)‐2‐(8‐aminonaphthalen‐1‐ylamino)‐2‐(2‐oxoacenaphthylen‐1(2H)‐ylidene)acetonitrile ( 4 ). On the other hand, (2Z,2′Z)‐2,2′‐(hydrazine‐1,2‐diylidene)diacenaphthylen‐1(2H)‐one ( 6 ) was obtained during the condensation process of 1 with hydrazine hydrate ( 5 ). Reaction of 1 with 3,4‐diaminotoluene ( 8b ) produces 9‐methylacenaphtho[1,2‐b]quinoxaline ( 9b ) and (Z)‐2‐(2‐amino‐5‐methylphenyl‐amino)‐2‐(2‐oxoacenaphthylen‐1(2H)‐ylidene)acetonitrile ( 10b ). However, treatment of 5,6‐diamino‐pyrimidine‐2,4‐diol hemisulphate ( 11 ) with 1 affords acenaphtho[1,2‐g]pteridine‐9,11‐diol ( 12 ).  相似文献

The crystal structures of the four E,Z,E isomers of 1‐(4‐alkoxyphenyl)‐6‐(4‐nitrophenyl)hexa‐1,3,5‐triene, namely (E,Z,E)‐1‐(4‐methoxyphenyl)‐6‐(4‐nitrophenyl)hexa‐1,3,5‐triene, C19H17NO3, (E,Z,E)‐1‐(4‐ethoxyphenyl)‐6‐(4‐nitrophenyl)hexa‐1,3,5‐triene, C20H19NO3, (E,Z,E)‐1‐(4‐nitrophenyl)‐6‐(4‐n‐propoxyphenyl)hexa‐1,3,5‐triene, C21H21NO3, and (E,Z,E)‐1‐(4‐n‐butoxyphenyl)‐6‐(4‐nitrophenyl)hexa‐1,3,5‐triene, C22H23NO3, have been determined. Intermolecular N⋯O dipole interactions between the nitro groups are observed for the methoxy derivative, while for the ethoxy derivative, two adjacent molecules are linked at both ends through N⋯O dipole–dipole interactions between the N atom of the nitro group and the O atom of the ethoxy group to form a supramolecular ring‐like structure. In the crystal structures of the n‐propoxy and n‐butoxy derivatives, the shortest intermolecular distances are those between the two O atoms of the alkoxy groups. Thus, the nearest two molecules form an S‐shaped supramolecular dimer in these crystal structures.  相似文献

This analysis of the title compound, C13H13F2IO3, establishes the orientation of (E)‐5‐(CH=CH—I) as antiperiplanar (ap) to the C—C bond (5–6 position) of the 2,4‐difluorophenyl ring system, with the (E)‐5‐(CH=CH—I) H atom located in close proximity (2.17 Å) to the F4 atom of the 2,4‐difluorophenyl moiety.  相似文献

We report the synthesis of two 2‐(4′‐pyridyl‐N‐oxide)‐substituted hemithioindigos (HTIs). We probed their photoisomerization by using UV/Vis and 1H NMR spectroscopy techniques. Light irradiation at λ=450 nm provoked the isomerization of the HTI Z isomer to the E counterpart to a large extent (≈80 % at the photostationary state). 1H NMR titration experiments revealed the formation of thermodynamically and kinetically stable 1:1 inclusion complexes of the (Z)‐HTI isomers with a super aryl‐extended host (association constant>104 m ?1). Photoirradiation at λ=450 nm of the inclusion complexes induced the isomerization of the bound HTI N‐oxide to afford the (E)‐HTI?calix[4]pyrrole complex. We determined accurate association constant values for the 1:1 inclusion complexes of the (Z)‐ and (E)‐HTI isomers by using isothermal titration calorimetry experiments. The results showed that the stability constants of the (E)‐HTI complexes were 2.2–2.8‐fold lower than those of the (Z)‐HTI counterparts, which explains the lack of light‐induced release of the former to the bulk solution.  相似文献

Twelve compounds unknown in the literature N‐(E)‐2‐stilbenyloxymethylenecarbonyl substituted hydrazones of 2‐, 3‐ and 4‐pyridinecarboxaldehydes, as well as methyl‐3‐pyridylketone have been prepared. The stereochemical behavior of these compounds in dimethyl‐d6 sulfoxide solution has been studied by 1H NMR technique. The E geometrical isomers and cis/trans amide conformers have been found for N‐substituted hydrazones 1–12. EI induced mass spectral fragmentation of these compounds were also investigated. The data obtained create the basis for distinguishing isomers.  相似文献

The accessibility of triads with deltahedral Zintl clusters in analogy to fullerene–linker–fullerene triads is another example for the close relationship between fullerenes and Zintl clusters. The compound {[K(2.2.2‐crypt)]4[RGe9‐CH?CH? CH?CH‐Ge9R]}(toluene)2 (R=(2Z,4E)‐7‐amino‐5‐aza‐hepta‐2,4‐dien‐2‐yl), containing two deltahedral [Ge9] clusters linked by a conjugated (1Z,3Z)‐buta‐1,3‐dien‐1,4‐diyl bridge, was synthesized through the reaction of 1,4‐bis(trimethylsilyl)butadiyne with K4Ge9 in ethylenediamine and crystallized after the addition of 2.2.2‐cryptand and toluene. The compound was characterized by single‐crystal structure analysis as well asNMR and IR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The compounds (2′E,2′E)‐2,2′‐(propane‐1,2‐diylidene)bis[1‐(2‐nitrophenyl)hydrazine], C15H14N6O4, (I), and (2Z,3Z)‐ethyl 3‐[2‐(2‐nitrophenyl)hydrazinylidene]‐2‐[2‐(4‐nitrophenyl)hydrazinylidene]butanoate tetrahydrofuran hemisolvate, C18H18N6O6·0.5C4H8O, (II), are puzzling outliers deviating from a general synthetic route aimed at the preparation of substituted pyrazoles. Possible reasons for this outcome, which is exceptional in an otherwise firmly established synthetic procedure, are analyzed. Compound (I) is unsolvated, while compound (II) crystallizes with a tetrahydrofuran solvent molecule lying on an inversion centre. The ethoxycarbonyl chain of (II), in turn, appears disordered into two equally populated (50%) moieties. In both structures, a plethora of different commonly occurring weak intermolecular interactions [viz. π(phenyl)...π(phenyl), π(C=N)...π(C=N), π(phenyl)...π(C=N), N—H...O and C—H...O] appear responsible for the crystal stability. Much less common are the short O(nitro)...O(nitro) contacts which are observed in the structure of (I), an example of unusual `electron donor–acceptor' (EDA) interactions.  相似文献

Methyl 2‐benzamido‐4‐(3,4‐dimethoxyphenyl)‐5‐methylbenzoate, C24H23NO5, (Ia), and N‐{5‐benzoyl‐2‐[(Z)‐2‐methoxyethenyl]‐4‐methylphenyl}benzamide, C24H21NO3, (IIa), were formed via a Diels–Alder reaction of appropriately substituted 2H‐pyran‐2‐ones and methyl propiolate or (Z)‐1‐methoxybut‐1‐en‐3‐yne, respectively. Each of these cycloadditions might yield two different regioisomers, but just one was obtained in each case. In (Ia), an intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond closes a six‐membered ring. A chain is formed due to aromatic π–π interactions, and a three‐dimensional framework structure is formed by a combination of C—H...O and C—H...π(arene) hydrogen bonds. Compound (IIa) was formed not only regioselectively but also chemoselectively, with just the triple bond reacting and the double bond remaining unchanged. Compound (IIa) crystallizes as N—H...O hydrogen‐bonded dimers stabilized by aromatic π–π interactions. Dimers of (IIa) are connected into a chain by weak C—H...π(arene) interactions.  相似文献

The synthesis, crystal structure studies and solvatochromic behavior of 2‐{(2E,4E)‐5‐[4‐(dimethylamino)phenyl]penta‐2,4‐dien‐1‐ylidene}malononitrile, C16H15N3 (DCV[3]), and 2‐{(2E,4E,6E)‐7‐[4‐(dimethylamino)phenyl]hepta‐2,4,6‐trien‐1‐ylidene}malononitrile, C18H17N3 (DCV[4]), are reported and discussed in comparison with their homologs having a shorter length of the π‐conjugated bridge. The compounds of this series have potential use as nonlinear materials with second‐order effects due to their donor–acceptor structures. However, DCV[3] and DCV[4] crystallized in the centrosymmetric space group P21/c which excludes their application as nonlinear optical materials in the crystalline state. They both crystallize with two independent molecules having the same molecular conformation in the asymmetric unit. The series DCV[1]–DCV[4] demonstrated reversed solvatochromic behavior in toluene, chloroform, and acetonitrile.  相似文献

The Z and E isomers of 3‐[4‐(dimethylamino)phenyl]‐2‐(2,4,6‐tribromophenyl)acrylonitrile, C17H13Br3N2, ( 1 ), were obtained simultaneously by a Knoevenagel condensation between 4‐(dimethylamino)benzaldehyde and 2‐(2,4,6‐tribromophenyl)acetonitrile, and were investigated by X‐ray diffraction and density functional theory (DFT) quantum‐chemical calculations. The (Z)‐( 1 ) isomer is monoclinic (space group P21/n, Z′ = 1), whereas the (E)‐( 1 ) isomer is triclinic (space group P, Z′ = 2). The two crystallographically‐independent molecules of (E)‐( 1 ) adopt similar geometries. The corresponding bond lengths and angles in the two isomers of ( 1 ) are very similar. The difference in the calculated total energies of isolated molecules of (Z)‐( 1 ) and (E)‐( 1 ) with DFT‐optimized geometries is ∼4.47 kJ mol−1, with the minimum value corresponding to the Z isomer. The crystal structure of (Z)‐( 1 ) reveals strong intermolecular nonvalent Br…N [3.100 (2) and 3.216 (3) Å] interactions which link the molecules into layers parallel to (10). In contrast, molecules of (E)‐( 1 ) in the crystal are bound to each other by strong nonvalent Br…Br [3.5556 (10) Å] and weak Br…N [3.433 (4) Å] interactions, forming chains propagating along [110]. The crystal packing of (Z)‐( 1 ) is denser than that of (E)‐( 1 ), implying that the crystal structure realized for (Z)‐( 1 ) is more stable than that for (E)‐( 1 ).  相似文献

The title compounds, namely (2Z)‐1‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐2‐(pyrrolidin‐2‐ylidene)ethanone, C12H12BrNO, (I), (2Z)‐1‐(4‐bromophenyl)‐2‐(piperidin‐2‐ylidene)ethanone, C13H14BrNO, (II), and (2Z)‐2‐(azepan‐2‐ylidene)‐1‐(4‐bromophenyl)ethanone, C14H16BrNO, (III), are characterized by bifurcated intra‐ and intermolecular hydrogen bonding between the secondary amine and carbonyl groups. The former establishes a six‐membered hydrogen‐bonded ring, while the latter leads to the formation of centrosymmetric dimers. Weak C—H...Br interactions link the individual molecules into chains that run along the [011], [101] and [101] directions in (I)–(III), respectively. Additional weak Br...O, C—H...π and C—H...O interactions further stabilize the crystal structures.  相似文献

Hydrazone derivatives exhibit a wide range of biological activities, while pyrazolo[3,4‐b]quinoline derivatives, on the other hand, exhibit both antimicrobial and antiviral activity, so that all new derivatives in these chemical classes are potentially of value. Dry grinding of a mixture of 2‐chloroquinoline‐3‐carbaldehyde and 4‐methylphenylhydrazinium chloride gives (E)‐1‐[(2‐chloroquinolin‐3‐yl)methylidene]‐2‐(4‐methylphenyl)hydrazine, C17H14ClN3, (I), while the same regents in methanol in the presence of sodium cyanoborohydride give 1‐(4‐methylphenyl)‐4,9‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrazolo[3,4‐b]quinoline, C17H15N3, (II). The reactions between phenylhydrazinium chloride and either 2‐chloroquinoline‐3‐carbaldehyde or 2‐chloro‐6‐methylquinoline‐3‐carbaldehyde give, respectively, 1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazolo[3,4‐b]quinoline, C16H11N3, (III), which crystallizes in the space group Pbcn as a nonmerohedral twin having Z′ = 3, or 6‐methyl‐1‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazolo[3,4‐b]quinoline, C17H13N3, (IV), which crystallizes in the space group R. The molecules of compound (I) are linked into sheets by a combination of N—H…N and C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bonds, and the molecules of compound (II) are linked by a combination of N—H…N and C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bonds to form a chain of rings. In the structure of compound (III), one of the three independent molecules forms chains generated by C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bonds, with a second type of molecule linked to the chains by a second C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bond and the third type of molecule linked to the chain by multiple π–π stacking interactions. A single C—H…π(arene) hydrogen bond links the molecules of compound (IV) into cyclic centrosymmetric hexamers having (S6) symmetry, which are themselves linked into a three‐dimensional array by π–π stacking interactions.  相似文献

The title isomers, viz. the N‐(3‐methylphenyl)‐, (I), and N‐(2‐methylphenyl)‐, (II), derivatives, both C26H28N2O4S, adopt an E configuration that places the thiophene and trimethoxyphenyl groups on opposite sides of the C=N double bond, providing a suitable orientation for formation of an intramolecular N—H...N hydrogen bond. However, while the molecule in (I) is close to being planar, the N‐methylphenyl group in (II) is twisted significantly from the plane of the remainder of the molecule. Both crystal structures are essentially layered and there are no intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds. Compound (I) has a significantly higher calculated density than (II) (1.340 cf 1.305 Mg m−3), indicating that the molecular packing in the meta isomer is overall more efficient than that in the ortho isomer.  相似文献

The title compound, rac‐6,13‐dihydro‐6,13‐methanopentacene ( 1 ), has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT‐IR, 1H NMR, UV‐Vis, HRMS spectra, cyclic voltammetry and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal belongs to orthorhombic, space group P212121, with Z = 4 and cell dimensions a = 6.0185(4), b = 8.1914(6), c = 31.4080(19) Å. In the crystal structure, two types of intermolecular C–H···π hydrogen bonds are observed, and further stabilize the crystal structure. Its photophysical and electrochemical properties and complementary density functional theory (DFT) calculations are reported.  相似文献

A Pd(dba)2–P(OEt)3 combination allowed the silastannation of arylacetylenes, 1‐hexyne or propargyl alcohols with tributyl(trimethylsilyl)stannane to take place at room temperature, producing (Z)‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannyl‐1‐substituted ethenes in high yields. Novel silyl(stannyl)ethenes were fully characterized by 1H‐, 13C‐, 29Si‐ and 119Sn‐NMR as well as infrared and mass analyses. Treatment of a series of (Z)‐1‐aryl‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannylethenes and (Z)‐1‐(3‐pyridyl)‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannylethene with hydrochloric acid or hydroiodic acid in the presence of tetraethylammonium chloride (TEACl) or tetrabutylammonium iodide (TBAI) led to the exclusive formation of (E)‐trimethyl(2‐arylethenyl)silanes with high stereoselectivity. A similar reaction of (Z)‐1‐(2‐anisyl)‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannylethene also produced E‐type trimethyl[2‐(2‐anisyl)ethenyl]silane, while (Z)‐trimethyl [2‐(2‐pyridyl)ethenyl]silane was produced exclusively from (Z)‐1‐(2‐pyridyl)‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannylethene. Protodestannylation of (Z)‐1‐[hydroxy(phenyl)methyl]‐2‐silyl‐1‐stannylethene with trifluoroacetic acid took place via the β‐elimination of hydroxystannane, providing trimethyl(3‐phenylpropa‐1,2‐dienyl)silane quite easily. The destannylation products were also fully characterized. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The two title compounds, 2‐({(1Z)‐[4‐(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}amino)‐4,5‐dimethyl‐N‐(2‐methylphenyl)thiophene‐3‐carboxamide, C23H25N3OS, (I), and 2‐({(1E)‐[4‐(dimethylamino)phenyl]methylene}amino)‐N‐(4‐methylphenyl)‐4,5,6,7‐tetrahydro‐1‐benzothiophene‐3‐carboxamide,C25H27N3OS, (II), show antibacterial and antifungal activities. The asymmetric unit of (II) contains two crystallographically independent molecules. The o‐toluidine ring in (I) lies gauche with respect to the thiophene ring. In (II), the p‐toluidine ring is coplanar with the thiophene ring in one molecule, but is tilted from it in the other molecule. Neither structure exhibits any significant intermolecular interactions, but in both, an intramolecular N—H⋯N hydrogen bond forms a pseudo‐six‐membered ring, thus locking the molecular conformation and removing conformational flexibility.  相似文献

The (2E,4E)‐ and (2E,4Z)‐1‐phenyl‐1,6‐dioxo‐hepta‐2,4‐diene reacts with aziridine to give aziridinecyclopentenol 3. This product arises from an intermolecular Michael addition of a nitrogen lone pair to the less reactive enone, followed by an intramolecular aldol reaction of the enol with ketone. Furthermore, the initially formed enol did not undergo nucleophilic attack onto the aziridine ring to form heterocycles. Interestingly, the reaction with secondary amine did not give the cyclopentenol adduct, and this only leads to the isomerization of (2E,4Z)‐1‐phenyl‐1,6‐dioxo‐hepta‐2,4‐diene to the more stable (2E,4E)‐1‐phenyl‐1,6‐dioxo‐hepta‐2,4‐diene by addition to the more reactive enone.  相似文献

The diorganotin(IV) complexes of 5‐[(E)‐2‐aryldiazen‐1‐yl]‐2‐hydroxybenzoic acid are of interest because of their structural diversity in the crystalline state and their interesting biological activity. The structures of dimethylbis{2‐hydroxy‐5‐[(E)‐2‐(4‐methylphenyl)diazen‐1‐yl]benzoato}tin(IV), [Sn(CH3)2(C14H11N2O3)2], and di‐n‐butylbis{2‐hydroxy‐5‐[(E)‐2‐(4‐methylphenyl)diazen‐1‐yl]benzoato}tin(IV) benzene hemisolvate, [Sn(C4H9)2(C14H11N2O3)2]·0.5C6H6, exhibit the usual skew‐trapezoidal bipyramidal coordination geometry observed for related complexes of this class. Each structure has two independent molecules of the SnIV complex in the asymmetric unit. In the dimethyltin structure, intermolecular O—H…O hydrogen bonds and a very weak Sn…O interaction link the independent molecules into dimers. The planar carboxylate ligands lend themselves to π–π stacking interactions and the diversity of supramolecular structural motifs formed by these interactions has been examined in detail for these two structures and four closely related analogues. While there are some recurring basic motifs amongst the observed stacking arrangements, such as dimers and step‐like chains, variations through longitudinal slipping and inversion of the direction of the overlay add complexity. The π–π stacking motifs in the two title complexes are combinations of some of those observed in the other structures and are the most complex of the structures examined.  相似文献
