A new method for deposition nitrogen‐doped TiO2 nanofibers films was proposed. By using atmospheric pressure plasma jet generated by dual‐frequency power sources, the morphologies of these TiO2 films were investigated by scanning electron microscopy. The structures of these films were characterized by X‐ray diffraction and Raman Shift Spectroscopy. The elemental composition of these films [Colour figure can be viewed at wileyonlinelibrary.com ] were characterized by means of X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The optical absorption of these films were studied by UV‐vis absorbance spectra. These results indicated that the nitrogen‐doped nanofibers TiO2 films have mixed phases of anatase and rutile. They also display narrow band gap. The I‐V characteristics curves exhibited good conductivity ability. Optical emission spectroscopy (OES) was measured to analyze the active group.  相似文献

Highly‐ordered Fe‐doped TiO2 nanotubes (TiO2nts) were fabricated by anodization of co‐sputtered Ti–Fe thin films in a glycerol electrolyte containing NH4F. The as‐sputtered Ti–Fe thin films correspond to a solid solution of Ti and Fe according to X‐ray diffraction. The Fe‐doped TiO2nts were studied in terms of composition, morphology and structure. The characterization included scanning electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, UV/Vis spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Mott–Schottky analysis. As a result of the Fe doping, an indirect bandgap of 3.0 eV was estimated using Tauc’s plot, and this substantial red‐shift extends its photoresponse to visible light. From the Mott–Schottky analysis, the flat‐band potential (Efb) and the charge carrier concentration (ND) were determined to be ?0.95 V vs Ag/AgCl and 5.0 ×1019 cm?3 respectively for the Fe‐doped TiO2nts, whilst for the undoped TiO2nts, Efb of ?0.85 V vs Ag/AgCl and ND of 6.5×1019 cm?3 were obtained.  相似文献

Radio frequency magnetron sputtering technique has been used to deposit Cu‐doped ZnS thin films on glass and n‐type Si(100) substrates at room temperature. Crystalline structure, surface morphology, and elemental oxidation states have been studied by X‐ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy has been employed to measure the transmittance, reflectance, and absorbance properties of coated films. The deposited thin films crystallize in zinc blende or sphalerite phases as proved by X‐ray diffraction analysis. The intensity of diffraction peaks decreases with increasing the dopant concentrations. The predominant diffraction peak related to (111) plane of ZnS is observed at 28.52° along with other peaks. The peak positions are shifted to higher angles with an increase of Cu concentrations. X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy studies show that Cu is present in +1 oxidation state. Transmittance, reflectance, and absorbance properties of the deposited films have a slight variation with dopant concentrations.

Near‐monodisperse Bi‐doped anatase TiO2 nanospheres with almost uniform diameters in the range of 117 to 87 nm were prepared simply by introducing different amounts of bismuth nitrate pentahydrate into the reaction system and subsequent calcinations. X‐ray diffraction, UV‐visible diffuse reflectance spectra, and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirm that the doped ions substitute some of the lattice titanium atoms, and furthermore, Bi3+ and Bi4+ ions coexist. All the Bi‐doped TiO2 samples show much better photocatalytic activity than pure TiO2 in the degradation of rhodamine B (RhB) under the irradiation of visible light (λ>420 nm), and, interestingly, it was found that the degradation mechanism is different from the conventional one, which has already been reported elsewhere. The detailed mechanism is discussed in this article.  相似文献

Erbium co‐doped TiO2/Ag catalysts are synthesized by using a simple, one‐step solvothermal method and characterized by X‐ray diffraction, field‐emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Raman analysis, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. The catalysts exhibit anatase crystal structures with increased visible light absorption compared with pure TiO2. Enhanced photocatalytic activity is observed with Er co‐doped TiO2/Ag nanocomposites for Rhodamine B degradation under visible light irradiation. The photocatalytic activity of 1 % Er co‐doped TiO2/Ag is much higher than that of TiO2/Ag, TiO2/Er, pure TiO2, and commercial Degussa P25. The kinetics of the degradation process are studied and the pseudo‐first‐order rate constant (k) and half‐life time (t1/2) of the reaction are calculated. The enhanced activity might be accredited to the efficient separation of electron–hole pairs by silver and higher visible light absorption of TiO2 induced by Er.  相似文献

We demonstrate that the biomimetic method—which has been used for the formation of silica thin films—also could be applied directly to the formation of titanium dioxide (TiO2) thin films, which are technologically important materials because of their applications to photocatalytic purifiers, photochemical solar cells, and others. After generation of poly(2‐(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate) (PDMAEMA) films on gold surfaces by surface‐initiated polymerization, titanium bis(ammonium lactato)dihydroxide was used as a precursor of TiO2. The TiO2/PDMAEMA films were successfully formed on the surfaces in aqueous solution at neutral pH (pH 6.7) and room temperature, and were characterized by X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and X‐ray diffractometry. The formed TiO2 films have an amorphous nature and large area uniformity in thickness. The degree of crystallization was controlled by annealing. We also investigated the pH effect and the phosphate incorporation in the films by using phosphate‐buffered solutions. The TiO2 films were formed in all the employed pH values in the range of 2 to 12, but phosphate anions were found to be incorporated into the films facilely only at low pH.  相似文献

Abstract

Cationic nanocrystalline TiO2 particles have been synthesized for which the size and composition of the nanoparticles were analyzed by a transmission emission microscopy and energy dispersive x‐ray spectrometer (EDXS). Multilayered films have been fabricated by sequential adsorption of TiO2 nanoparticles and poly(3‐thiophene acetic acid) (PTAA). Each layer of the nanoparticles and PTAA in the thin film has also been characterized by x‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, and UV‐visible spectroscopy. These types of multilayered nanocomposite films may find applications in the fabrication of efficient light harvesting photovoltaic cells.  相似文献

Using ionic source assistant, Ti and N co‐doped amorphous C (α‐C:N:Ti) thin films were prepared by pulse cathode arc technique. Microstructure, composition, elemental distribution, morphology, and mechanical properties of α‐C:N:Ti films were investigated in dependence of nitrogen source, pulse frequency, and target current by Raman spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, nanoindentation, and surface profilometer. The results show the presence of titanium carbide and nitride in a‐C:N:Ti films. The α‐C:N+:Ti film (6 Hz, 60 A) shows the smaller size and the higher disordering degree of Csp2 clusters. The α‐C:N+:Ti films present smoother surface and smaller particle size than for α‐C:N2:Ti films. N ions facilitate the formation of N‐sp3C bonds in the α‐C:N+:Ti films, and α‐C:N+:Ti (10 Hz, 80 A) film possesses the more graphite‐like N bonds. Higher hardness and lower residual stress present in the α‐C:N2:Ti (10 Hz, 80 A) film.  相似文献

Hierarchical macro‐/mesoporous N‐doped TiO2/graphene oxide (N‐TiO2/GO) composites were prepared without using templates by the simple dropwise addition mixed solution of tetrabutyl titanate and ethanol containg graphene oxide (GO) to the ammonia solution, and then calcined at 350 °C. The as‐prepared samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Brunauer‐Emmett‐Teller (BET) surface area, X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and UV‐Vis absorption spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activity was evaluated by the photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange in an aqueous solution under visible‐light irradiation. The results show that N‐TiO2/GO composites exhibited enhanced photocatalytic activity. GO content exhibited an obvious influence on photocatalytic performance, and the optimal GO addition content was 1 wt%. The enhanced photocatalytic activity could be attributed to the synergetic effects of three factors including the improved visible light absorption, the hierarchical macro‐mesoporous structure, and the efficient charge separation by GO.  相似文献

Bi‐doped TiO2 nanotubes with variable Bi/Ti ratios were synthesized by hydrothermal treatment in 10 mol·L?1 NaOH (aq.) through using Bi‐doped TiO2 particles derived from conventional sol‐gel method as starting materials. The effects of Bi content on the morphology, textural properties, photo absorption and photocatalytic activity of TiO2 nanotubes were investigated. The scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) observations of the obtained samples revealed the formation of titanate nanotube structure doped with Bi, which exists as a higher oxidation state than Bi3+. Bi‐doping TiO2 nanotubes exhibited an extension of light absorption into the visible region and improved photocatalytic activities for hydrogen production from a glycerol/water mixed solution as compared with pure TiO2 nanotubes. There was an optimal Bi‐doped content for the photocatalytic hydrogen production, and high content of Bi would retard the phase transition of titanate to anatase and result in morphology change from nanotube to nanobelt, which in turn decreases the photocatlytic activity for hydrogen evolution.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel TiO2 nanosheets assembled double‐wall hollow sphere (DHS)has been prepared successfully via hydrothermal treatment of SiO2@TiO2 with the assistant of CTAB.The prepared samples are characterized with transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electron spin resonance (ESR), X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and X‐ray photoelectron spectra (XPS), etc. Results show that redeposited silica species play a key role in the formation of the double‐wall structure. The as‐synthesized DHS nanostructure exhibits a large surface area (417.6 m2 g‐1) and excellent mechanical strength. Furthermore, after decoration of Ag and calcination treatment, the double‐shelled TiO2/Ag heterostructures show an enhanced photocatalytic performance in the degradation of RhB under UV or visible light irradiations for the following reasons: the surface plasmon resonance effect of Ag, strong interaction between Ag and TiO2 nanosheets, large surface area, excellent adsorption capacityand unique double‐wall structure. On the basis of the experimental results, a possible mechanism for pollutantdegradation under visual light irradiation has been proposed.  相似文献

In this study, preparation of Sn doped (0–30 mol % Sn) TiO2 dip-coated thin films on glazed porcelain substrates via sol–gel process have been investigated. The effects of Sn content on the structural, optical, and photo-catalytic properties of applied thin films have been studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), field emission SEM (FE-SEM), and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM). Surface topography and surface chemical state of thin films were examined by atomic force microscope (AFM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). XRD patterns showed an increase in peak intensities of the rutile crystalline phase by increasing the Sn dopant. The prepared Sn-doped TiO2 photo-catalyst films showed optical absorption edge in the visible light area and exhibited excellent photo-catalytic ability for degradation of methylene blue solution under UV irradiation. The result shows that doping an appropriate amount of Sn can effectively improve the photo-catalytic activity of TiO2 thin films, and the optimum dopant amount is found to be 15 mol%. The Sn4+ dopants substituted Ti4+ in the lattice of TiO2 and increased surface oxygen vacancies and the surface hydroxyl groups. TEM results showed small increase in planar spacing (was detected by HR-TEM caused by Sn dopants in titania based crystals).  相似文献

We investigate the degradation path of MAPbI3 (MA=methylammonium) films over flat TiO2 substrates at room temperature by means of X‐ray diffraction, spectroscopic ellipsometry, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and high‐resolution transmission electron microscopy. The degradation dynamics is found to be similar in air and under vacuum conditions, which leads to the conclusion that the occurrence of intrinsic thermodynamic mechanisms is not necessarily linked to humidity. The process has an early stage, which drives the starting tetragonal lattice in the direction of a cubic atomic arrangement. This early stage is followed by a phase change towards PbI2. We describe how this degradation product is structurally coupled with the original MAPbI3 lattice through the orientation of its constituent PbI6 octahedra. Our results suggest a slight octahedral rearrangement after volatilization of HI+CH3NH2 or MAI, with a relatively low energy cost. Our experiments also clarify why reducing the interfaces and internal defects in the perovskite lattice enhances the stability of the material.  相似文献

We fabricated films of cubic indium oxide (In2O3) by chemical bath deposition (CBD) for solar water splitting. The fabricated films were characterized by X‐ray diffraction analysis, Raman scattering, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy, and the three‐dimensional microstructure of the In2O3 cubes was elucidated. The CBD deposition time was varied, to study its effect on the growth of the In2O3 microcubes. The optimal deposition time was determined to be 24 h, and the corresponding film exhibited a photocurrent density of 0.55 mA cm?2. Finally, the film stability was tested by illuminating the films with light from an AM 1.5 filter with an intensity of 100 mW cm?2.  相似文献

Visible‐light‐driven plasmonic photocatalyst Ag‐TiO2 nanocomposite hollow spheres are prepared by a template‐free chemically‐induced self‐transformation strategy under microwave‐hydrothermal conditions, followed by a photochemical reduction process under xenon lamp irradiation. The prepared samples are characterized by using scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction, N2 adsorption‐desorption isotherms, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, UV/Vis and Raman spectroscopy. Production of ?OH radicals on the surface of visible‐light illuminated TiO2 was detected by using a photoluminescence method with terephthalic acid as the probe molecule. The photocatalytic activity of as‐prepared samples was evaluated by photocatalytic decolorization of Rhodamine B (RhB) aqueous solution at ambient temperature under visible‐light irradiation. The results show that the surface plasmon absorption band of the silver nanoparticles supported on the TiO2 hollow spheres was red shifted, and a strong surface enhanced Raman scattering effect for the Ag‐TiO2 nanocomposite sample was observed. The prepared nanocomposite hollow spheres exhibits a highly visible‐light photocatalytic activity for photocatalytic degradation of RhB in water, and their photocatalytic activity is higher than that of pure TiO2 and commercial Degussa P25 (P25) powders. Especially, the as‐prepared Ag‐TiO2 nanocomposite hollow spheres at the nominal atomic ratio of silver to titanium ( R ) of 2 showed the highest photocatalytic activity, which exceeds that of P25 by a factor of more than 2.  相似文献

Tungsten and nitrogen co‐doped TiO2 nanobelts (W/N‐TNBs) have been successfully synthesized via 1‐step hydrothermal method. The structure, morphology, and composition of prepared samples were characterized by X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, respectively. The prominent phase of all as‐prepared samples is anatase crystal. For samples with N doping, new energy states can be introduced on top of O 2p states which reduced the band gap by 1.1 eV. The reduced band gap leads to efficient visible light activity. The 3%‐W/N‐TNBs were found to exhibit the highest activity. The photocatalytic performance of 3%‐W/N‐TNBs under visible light is about 4.8 times than that of pure TiO2 nanobelts, which emphasizes the synergistic effect of W and N co‐doping for effectively inhibiting the recombination of photogenerated electrons and holes. In addition, our results testify the different redox potentials of the photoelectrons at different final states.  相似文献

The thin films of TiO2 doped by Sn or Nb were prepared by sol–gel method under process control. The effects of Sn and Nb doping on the structural, optical and photo-catalytic properties of applied thin films have been studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) high resolution transmission electron microscopy and UV–Vis absorption spectroscopy. Surface chemical state of thin films was examined by atomic X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. XRD results suggest that adding impurities has a great effect on the crystallinity and particle size of TiO2. Titania rutile phase formation in thin film was promoted by Sn4+ addition but was inhibited by Nb5+ doping. The activity of the photocatalyst was evaluated by photocatalytic degradation kinetics of aqueous methylene blue under UV and Visible radiation. The results show that the photocatalytic activity of the Sn-doped TiO2 thin film have a larger degradation efficiency than Nb-doped TiO2 under visible light, but under UV light photocatalytic activity of the Nb-doped TiO2 thin film is better.  相似文献

Sulfur doped ZnO/TiO2 nanocomposite photocatalysts were synthesized by a facile sol‐gel method. The structure and properties of catalysts were characterized by X‐ray diffraction (XRD), X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), UV‐vis diffusive reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) and N2 desorption‐adsorption isotherm. The XRD study showed that TiO2 was anatase phase and there was no obvious difference in crystal composition of various S‐ZnO/TiO2. The XPS study showed that the Zn element exists as ZnO and S atoms form SO2?4. The prepared samples had mesoporosity revealed by N2 desorption‐adsorption isotherm result. The degradation of Rhodamine B dye under visible light irradiation was chosen as probe reaction to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of the ZnO/TiO2 nanocomposite. The commercial TiO2 photocatalyst (Degussa P25) was taken as standard photocatalyst to contrast the prepared different photocatalyst in current work. The improvement of the photocatalytic activity of S‐ZnO/TiO2 composite photocatalyst can be attributed to the suitable energetic positions between ZnO and TiO2, the acidity site caused by sulfur doping and the enlargement of the specific area. S‐3.0ZnO/TiO2 exhibited the highest photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation after Zn amount was optimized, which was 2.6 times higher than P25.  相似文献
