We propose an n-order noise, which is realized by driving an n-order linear differential equation with a Gaussian white noise. The time-derivative noise is a low-resistant band-passing noise. If the derivative noise is regarded as a thermal one, the system has a vanishing effective friction and it should induce ballistic diffusion of a free particle at long times. The simulation method for the generalized Langevin equation driven by the n-order noise is discussed systematically. The features of three-order derivative noises are presented when they are applied to a ratchet system.  相似文献

We present a thermal broadband noise from the difference between two Ornstein-Uhlenbeck noises, which can induce a ballistic diffusion, i.e., long-time mean square displacement of a free particle driven by this noise reads proportional to t(2). We apply this noise to a flashing ratchet and the mean velocity of the particle is calculated via Langevin simulation. The results show that a double peak of the mean velocity and flux reversal appears for the ratchet with large and small asymmetries, respectively; the inertia effect induces a large mean velocity and multireversal of flux. These rich and interesting phenomena are explained.  相似文献

研究了反馈耦合布朗棘轮中粒子处于负载力、时变外力及噪声作用下的定向输运问题.详细讨论了外力作用时间的不对称性、外势空间的不对称性及外力周期等对反馈耦合棘轮中粒子输运效率的影响.研究发现,外力的时间不对称度能促进反馈棘轮中粒子的定向输运,随时间不对称度的增大,反馈棘轮中粒子能获得较大的效率.然而,外势空间的不对称度能有效抑制耦合棘轮中粒子的扩散,达到增强耦合粒子定向输运的效果.同时还发现,存在最优的噪声强度能使耦合粒子的输运效率达到最大.  相似文献

本文研究了处于外力作用下双阱棘轮势中两个反馈耦合布朗粒子的定向输运性能. 通过对过阻尼朗之万方程的数值求解, 详细讨论了外力、热噪声与势阱的不对称参数等对耦合布朗粒子的平均速度、 有效扩散系数及Pe数的影响. 研究发现, 平均速度随外力呈周期性的变化规律. 同时耦合系统存在最优噪声强度会使定向输运达到最强. 值得指出的是棘轮系统可通过改变双阱势的结构来获得较强的定向流. 关键词: 耦合布朗棘轮 外力 双阱棘轮势 平均速度  相似文献

通过将广义Langevin方程中的系统内噪声建模为分数阶高斯噪声,推导出分数阶Langevin方程, 其分数阶导数项阶数由系统内噪声的Hurst指数所确定.讨论了处于强噪声环境下的线性过阻尼分数阶 Langevin方程在周期信号激励下的共振行为,利用Shapiro-Loginov公式和Laplace变换, 推导了系统响应的一、二阶稳态矩和稳态响应振幅、方差的解析表达式.分析表明,适当参数下, 系统稳态响应振幅和方差随噪声的某些特征参数、周期激励信号的频率及系统部分参数的变化出现了 广义的随机共振现象.  相似文献

We obtain ratchet effect in inertial structureless systems in symmetric periodic potentials where the asymmetry comes from the non-uniform friction offered by the medium and driven by symmetric periodic forces. In the adiabatic limit the calculations are done by extending the matrix continued fraction method and also by numerically solving the appropriate Langevin equation. For finite frequency field drive the ratchet effect is obtained only numerically. In the transient time scales the system shows dispersionless behaviour as reported earlier when a constant force is applied. In the periodic drive case the dispersion behaviour is more complex. In this brief communication we report some of the results of our work.   相似文献

The diffusion process in an external noise-activated non-equilibrium open system-reservoir coupling environment is studied by analytically solving the generalized Langevin equation. The dynamical property of the system near the barrier top is investigated in detail by numerically calculating the quantities such as mean diffusion path, invariance, barrier passing probability, and so on. It is found that, comparing with the unfavorable effect of internal fluctuations, the external noise activation is sometimes beneficial to the diffusion process. An optimal strength of external activation or correlation time of the internal fluctuation is expected for the diffusing particle to have a maximal probability to escape from the potential well.  相似文献

考虑涨落作用下周期驱动的过阻尼分数阶棘轮模型, 通过模型的数值求解, 研究确定性棘轮的混沌特性与噪声的作用对输运行为的影响, 进而讨论过阻尼分数阶分子马达反向输运的机理. 分析表明: 随着势垒高度、 势不对称性与模型记忆性的变化, 随机棘轮的反向输运并不必然地要求确定性棘轮也反向输运; 随着模型阶数的减小, 亦即分数阻尼介质记忆性的增强, 确定性棘轮在反向输运之前会经历一个周期倍化导致的混沌状态, 但在噪声作用下, 反向流的发生会提前, 即混沌状态的确定性棘轮在噪声的作用下即可进行反向输运. 也就是说, 噪声能定性地改变棘轮的输运状态: 从无噪声时的混沌运动到有噪声时的定向输运. 这是过阻尼随机棘轮反向输运的一种机理, 也是噪声在定向输运过程中发挥积极作用的一个体现.  相似文献

Using the Langevin Monte Carlo method,the influence of friction on the directed motion of a Brownian particle driven by an external noise source is investigated.The results show that the exitence and change of the environment friction influence the establishment and development of the steady motion of a Brownian particle derived by nonequilibrium fluctuation.The most probable correlation time,which corresponds to the maximum current,is inversely proportional to the friction coefficient.The abnormal transition of the current with different friction appears because of the coupling between the effective ratchet potential and coloured noise intensity.  相似文献

We present an analogy between the classic gambler's ruin problem and the thermally activated dynamics in periodic Brownian ratchets. By considering each periodic unit of the ratchet as a site chain, we calculated the transition probabilities and mean first passage time for transitions between energy minima of adjacent units. We consider the specific case of Brownian ratchets driven by Markov dichotomous noise. The explicit solution for the current is derived for any arbitrary temperature, and is verified numerically by Langevin simulations. The conditions for current reversal in the ratchet are obtained and discussed.  相似文献

We design an experimental scheme to realize one-bit information erasure and restoring processes by considering an overdamped colloidal particle in a double-well optical trap, which is added by a controllable laser tweezer. Using the Monte Carlo method, we simulate numerically the Langevin equation to calculate the mean work spent during the entire process and validate the entropy production fluctuation theory. Our result shows that the distribution of entropy production becomes narrow with increasing temperature and becomes stationary, represents the diminishing extent of irreversibility.  相似文献

The transport properties of coupled Brownian motors in rocking ratchet are investigated via solving Langevin equation. By means of velocity, diffusion coefficient, and their ratio (Peclet number), different features from a single particle have been found. In the regime of low-to-moderate D, the average velocity of elastically coupled Brownian motors is larger than that of a single Brownian particles; the Peclet number of elastically coupled Brownian motors is peaked functions of intensity of noise D but the Peclet number of a single Brownian motor decreases monotonously with the increase of a single Brownian motor. The results exhibit an interesting cooperative behavior between coupled particles subjected to a rocking force, which can generate directed transport with low randomness or high transport coherence in symmetrical periodic potential.  相似文献

根据随机能量理论解析得到阻尼环境中布朗粒子的概率流和斯托克斯效率,并进一步研究布朗粒子的输运性能.详细讨论了空间的不对称性、外偏置力及外势结构等对棘轮定向输运的影响.研究发现,合适的外偏置力能使棘轮的定向输运达到最强.通过调节外势的不对称性可使棘轮中粒子的运动反向,当选择合适的空间不对称性时布朗粒子的反向输运可获得最强.此外,一定条件下合适的外势高度也能增强棘轮输运,且能使粒子克服黏滞阻力的斯托克斯效率达到最大.所得结论能够启发实验上设计合适的外势及外偏置来优化布朗棘轮的定向输运性能,并为生物纳米器件的研制提供一定的理论参考.  相似文献

We present an integral-closed algorithm for solving a Langevin equation driven by an additive colored noise. Both the mean first passage time in a bistable system and the diffusion current in a titled periodic potential are calculated and the comparison with existing algorithms is carried out. The dependence of the numerical results on the time steps is studied. Our algorithm is shown to have high accuracy and stability.  相似文献

Transportation properties of two harmonically coupled particles moving in a flashing or rocking ratchet potential are investigated in terms of Langevin simulation. The efficiency for rectification of non-equilibrium fluctuation is calculated by using a new definition. The results show that both the average current and efficiency of two coupled particles in the flashing ratchet are larger than that of a single particle and these quantities are non-monotonous functions of the potential remaining time.  相似文献

A generic four-dimensional dilaton gravity is considered as a basis for reformulating the paradigmatic Oppenheimer–Synder model of a gravitationally collapsing star modelled as a perfect fluid or dust sphere. Initially, the vacuum Einstein scalar-tensor equations are modified to Einstein–Langevin equations which incorporate a noise or micro-turbulence source term arising from Planck scale conformal, dilaton fluctuations which induce metric fluctuations. Coupling the energy-momentum tensor for pressureless dust or fluid to the Einstein–Langevin equations, a modification of the Oppenheimer–Snyder dust collapse model is derived. The Einstein–Langevin field equations for the collapse are of the form of a Langevin equation for a non-linear Brownian motion of a particle in a homogeneous noise bath. The smooth worldlines of collapsing matter become increasingly randomised Brownian motions as the star collapses, since the backreaction coupling to the fluctuations is non-linear; the input assumptions of the Hawking–Penrose singularity theorems are then violated. The solution of the Einstein–Langevin collapse equation can be found and is non-singular with the singularity being smeared out on the correlation length scale of the fluctuations, which is of the order of the Planck length. The standard singular Oppenheimer–Synder model is recovered in the limit of zero dilaton fluctuations.  相似文献

We explore the nonlinear dynamics of two parallel periodically patterned metal surfaces that are coupled by the zero-point fluctuations of the electromagnetic field between them. The resulting Casimir force generates for asymmetric patterns with a time periodically driven surface-to-surface distance a ratchet effect, allowing for directed lateral motion of the surfaces in sizable parameter ranges. It is crucial to take into account inertia effects and hence chaotic dynamics which are described by Langevin dynamics. Multiple velocity reversals occur as a function of driving, mean surface distance, and effective damping. These transport properties are shown to be stable against weak ambient noise.  相似文献
