This paper presents the second part of our study devoted to the construction of Baxter operators for the homogeneous closed XXX spin chain with the quantum space carrying infinite or finite-dimensional s?2 representations. We consider the Baxter operators used in Bazhanov et al. (1996, 1997, 1999, 2010) [1] and [2], formulate their construction uniformly with the construction of our previous paper. The building blocks of all global chain operators are derived from the general Yang-Baxter operators and all operator relations are derived from general Yang-Baxter relations. This leads naturally to the comparison of both constructions and allows to connect closely the treatment of the cases of infinite-dimensional representation of generic spin and finite-dimensional representations of integer or half-integer spin. We prove not only the relations between the operators but present also their explicit forms and expressions for their action on polynomials representing the quantum states.  相似文献

This paper seeks to construct a representation of the algebra of angular momentum (SU(2) algebra) in terms of the operator relations corresponding to Gentile statistics in which one quantum state can be occupied by n particles. First, we present an operator realization of Gentile statistics. Then, we propose a representation of angular momenta. The result shows that there exist certain underlying connections between the operator realization of the Gentile statistics and the angular momentum (SU(2)) algebra.  相似文献

Structural response properties of fermionic fields are investigated. In the presence of fermions the key technical concept becomes response combination, or R-normal product, of field operators. It generalises the notion of time-normal operator product to response problems. Time-normal products are a special case of R-normal products without inputs; this paper thus also generalises the concept of time-normal ordering to fermions. Explicit causality of R-normal products of arbitrary (bosonic and/or fermionic) field operators is proven, and explicit relations expressing them by conventional Green’s functions of quantum field theory are derived.  相似文献

A noncommutative *-algebra that generalizes the canonical commutation relations and that is covariant under the quantum groups SO q (3) or SO q(1, 3) is introduced. Models of the quantum oscillator, based on Al-Salam-Chihara orthogonal q-polynomials, are constructed. The position and momentum operators have the continuous simple spectra, covering a finite interval. Eigenfunctions of these operators are explicitly defined. This review deals with the methods of associating functions with quantum mechanical operators in such a manner that these functions should furnish conveniently semiclassical approximations. We present a unified treatment of methods and results which usually appear under expressions such as Wigner's function, Weyl's association, Kirkwood's expansion, Glauber's coherent state representation, etc.; we also construct some new associations.Section 1 gives the motivation by discussing the Thomas-Fermi theory of an atom with this end in view.Section 2 introduces new operators which resemble Dirac delta functions with operator arguments, the operators being the momenta and coordinates. Reasons are given as to why this should be useful. Next we introduce the notion of an operator basis, and discuss the possibility and usefulness of writing an operator as a linear combination of the basis operators. The coefficients in the linear combination are c-numbers and the c-numbers are associated with the operator (in that particular basis). The delta function type operators introduced before can be used as a basis for the dynamical operators, and the c-numbers obtained in this manner turn out to be the c-number functions used by Wigner, Weyl, Kirkwood, Glauber, etc. New bases and associations can now be invented at will. One such new basis is presented and discussed. The reasons and motivations for choosing different bases is then explained.The copious and seemingly random mathematical relations between these functions are then nothing else but the relations between the expansion coefficients engendered by the relations between the different bases. These are shown and discussed in this light. A brief discussion is then given to possible transformation of the p, q labels.Section 3 gives examples of how the semiclassical expansions are generated for these functions and exhibits their equivalence.The mathematical paraphernalia are collected in the appendices.  相似文献

We discuss the deformation quantization approach to perturbative quantum field theory. The various forms of Wick's theorem are shown to be a direct consequence of the structure of the star products. The scattering function for a scalar field in interaction with a spacetime-dependent source is derived. The translation of the results to the operator formalism reproduces known relations which lead to the derivation of the Feynman rules.  相似文献

The dispersion properties of a transverse electric (TE) surface waves propagating along the interface between a magneto-quantum plasma-relativistic beam system and vacuum are studied by using the quantum hydrodynamic model. The general dispersion relations are derived and analyzed in some special cases of interest. Moreover, the effects of density gradients for the beam and plasma on the dispersion properties of surface waves are investigated. The kind of dispersion relations depends strongly on the ambient magnetic field Bo via the gyro-frequency ωc, the quantum parameters, and the width of the plasma layer as well as the relativistic factor for the electron beam. It is found that the quantum effects play a crucial role to facilitate the propagation of TE surface waves.  相似文献

A particle constrained to move on a cone and bound to its tip by harmonic oscillator and Coulomb-Kepler potentials is considered both in the classical as well as in the quantum formulations. The SU(2) coherent states are formally derived for the former model and used for showing some relations between closed classical orbits and quantum probability densities. Similar relations are shown for the Coulomb-Kepler problem. In both cases a perfect localization of the densities on the classical solutions is obtained even for low values of quantum numbers.  相似文献

It is usually believed that a picture of Quantum Mechanics in terms of true probabilities cannot be given due to the uncertainty relations. Here we discuss a tomographic approach to quantum states that leads to a probability representation of quantum states. This can be regarded as a classical‐like formulation of quantum mechanics which avoids the counterintuitive concepts of wave function and density operator. The relevant concepts of quantum mechanics are then reconsidered and the epistemological implications of such approach discussed.  相似文献

We study easy quantum groups, a combinatorial class of orthogonal quantum groups introduced by Banica–Speicher in 2009. We show that there is a countable descending chain of easy quantum groups interpolating between Bichon’s free wreath product with the permutation group Sn and a semi-direct product of a permutation action of Sn on a free product. This reveals a series of new commutation relations interpolating between a free product construction and the tensor product. Furthermore, we prove a dichotomy result saying that every hyperoctahedral easy quantum group is either part of our new interpolating series of quantum groups or belongs to a class of semi-direct product quantum groups recently studied by the authors. This completes the classification of easy quantum groups. We also study combinatorial and operator algebraic aspects of the new interpolating series.  相似文献

We show that Quantum Energy-Transport and Quantum Drift-Diffusion models can be derived through diffusion limits of a collisional Wigner equation. The collision operator relaxes to an equilibrium defined through the entropy minimization principle. Both models are shown to be entropic and exhibit fluxes which are related with the state variables through spatially non-local relations. Thanks to an h expansion of these models, h2 perturbations of the Classical Energy-Transport and Drift-Diffusion models are found. In the Drift-Diffusion case, the quantum correction is the Bohm potential and the model is still entropic. In the Energy-Transport case however, the quantum correction is a rather complex expression and the model cannot be proven entropic.This revised version was published online in March 2005 with corrections to the title. Algebras of functions on quantum weighted projective spaces are introduced, and the structure of quantum weighted projective lines or quantum teardrops is described in detail. In particular the presentation of the coordinate algebra of the quantum teardrop in terms of generators and relations and classification of irreducible *-representations are derived. The algebras are then analysed from the point of view of Hopf-Galois theory or the theory of quantum principal bundles. Fredholm modules and associated traces are constructed. C*-algebras of continuous functions on quantum weighted projective lines are described and their K-groups computed.  相似文献
