Homoclinic orbits for a class of second-order Hamiltonian systems without a coercive potential

In this paper we establish some new sufficient conditions on the existence of homoclinic solutions for a class of second-order Hamiltonian systems without a coercive potential. The proof is based on a new critical point theorem in combination with periodic approximation.     

Periodic Solutions of Classical Hamiltonian Systems without Palais-Smale Condition

In this paper, we study the existence of periodic solutions for classical Hamiltonian systems without the Palais-Smale condition. We prove that the information of the potential function contained in a finite domain is sufficient for the existence of periodic solutions. Moreover, we establish the existence of infinitely many periodic solutions without any symmetric condition on the potential function V.

Some existence theorems are obtained for periodic solutions of a class of non-autonomous second order Hamiltonian systems with local superquadratic potential, by making use of the generalized mountain pass theorem.

Proof and generalization of Kaplan-Yorke’s conjecture under the condition f ' (0) > 0 on periodic solution of differential delay equations

Using the theory of existence of periodic solutions of Hamiltonian systems, it is shown that many periodic solutions of differential delay equations can be yielded from many families of periodic solutions of the coupled generalized Hamiltonian systems. Some sufficient conditions on the existence of periodic solutions of differential delay equations are obtained. As a corollary of our results, the conjecture of Kaplan-Yorke on the search for periodic solutions for certain special classes of scalar differential delay equations is shown to be true when . On Periodic Solutions of One Class of Systems of Differential Equations

We study the problem of the existence of periodic solutions of two-dimensional linear inhomogeneous periodic systems of differential equations for which the corresponding homogeneous system is Hamiltonian. We propose a new numerical-analytic algorithm for the investigation of the problem of the existence of periodic solutions of two-dimensional nonlinear differential systems with Hamiltonian linear part and their construction. Some existence results on periodic and generalized periodic solutions for singular hamiltonian systems

In this paper, we use the variational method to study the existence of periodic and generalized periodic solutions of planar second order Hamiltonian systems when a singular potential is present. The results obtained are applied to the study of generalized periodic solutions of the Restricted Three-Body Problem and the Planarn-Body Problem.     

Explicit exact periodic wave solutions and their limit forms for a long waves-short waves model

A long waves-short waves model is studied by using the approach of dynamical systems. The sufficient conditions to guarantee the existence of solitary wave, kink and anti-kink waves, and periodic wave in different regions of the parametric space are given. All possible explicit exact parametric representations of above traveling waves are presented. When the energy of Hamiltonian system corresponding to this model varies, we also show the convergence of the periodic wave solutions, such as the periodic wave solutions converge to the solitary wave solutions, kink and anti-kink wave solutions, and periodic wave solutions, respectively.
