We study in this paper the first-order behavior of value functions in parametric dynamic programming with linear constraints and nonconvex cost functions. By establishing an abstract result on the Fréchet subdifferential of value functions of parametric mathematical programming problems, some new formulas on the Fréchet subdifferential of value functions in parametric dynamic programming are obtained.  相似文献

Moreover if X is a Hilbert space, then dC is Fréchet differentiable at xX?C iff its Fréchet subdifferential at x is nonempty. A continuous linear operator is hypercyclic if there is an xX such that the orbit {Tnx} is dense, and such a vector x is said to be hypercyclic for T. Recent progress show that it is possible to characterize Banach space operators that have a hypercyclic subspace, i.e., an infinite dimensional closed subspace HX of, except for zero, hypercyclic vectors. The following is known to hold: A Banach space operator T has a hypercyclic subspace if there is a sequence (ni) and an infinite dimensional closed subspace EX such that T is hereditarily hypercyclic for (ni) and Tni→0 pointwise on E. In this note we extend this result to the setting of Fréchet spaces that admit a continuous norm, and study some applications for important function spaces. As an application we also prove that any infinite dimensional separable Fréchet space with a continuous norm admits an operator with a hypercyclic subspace.  相似文献

We prove that any infinite-dimensional non-archimedean Fréchet space E is homeomorphic to where D is a discrete space with card(D) = dens(E). It follows that infinite-dimensional non-archimedean Fréchet spaces E and F are homeomorphic if and only if dens(E) = dens(F). Bivariate Fréchet (BF) copulas characterize dependence as a mixture of three simple structures: comonotonicity, independence and countermonotonicity. They are easily interpretable but have limitations when used as approximations to general dependence structures. To improve the approximation property of the BF copulas and keep the advantage of easy interpretation, we develop a new copula approximation scheme by using BF copulas locally and patching the local pieces together. Error bounds and a probabilistic interpretation of this approximation scheme are developed. The new approximation scheme is compared with several existing copula approximations, including shuffle of min, checkmin, checkerboard and Bernstein approximations and exhibits better performance, especially in characterizing the local dependence. The utility of the new approximation scheme in insurance and finance is illustrated in the computation of the rainbow option prices and stop-loss premiums.  相似文献

We use tensor product techniques to study universality, hypercyclicity and chaos of multipliers defined on operator ideals and of multiplication operators on the space of all continuous and linear operators, thus continuing the work of Kit Chan. We also obtain the first examples of outer multipliers on a Banach algebra which are chaotic in the sense of Devaney, and prove sufficient conditions for the existence of closed subspaces of universal vectors for operators between Fréchet spaces.  相似文献

For U a balanced open subset of a Fréchet space E and F a dual-Banach space we introduce the topology on the space of holomorphic functions from U into F. This topology allows us to construct a predual for which in turn allows us to investigate the topological structure of spaces of vector-valued holomorphic functions. In particular, we are able to give necessary and sufficient conditions for the equivalence and compatibility of various topologies on spaces of vector-valued holomorphic functions.  相似文献

It is shown that, for ω?0, such operators preserve the set of Laguerre entire functions provided the function ? also belongs to this set. The latter consists of the polynomials possessing real nonpositive zeros only and of their uniform limits on compact subsets of the complex plane . The operator exp(θ,ω), a?0 is studied in more details. In particular, it is shown that it preserves the set of Laguerre entire functions for all . An integral representation of exp(θ,ω), a>0 is obtained. These results are used to obtain the solutions to certain Cauchy problems employing Δθ,ω.  相似文献

In this paper we study a certain class of Fréchet principal bundles. Those which have structural groups obtained as projective limits of Banach Lie groups. In particular, we prove that each bundle of the previous type can be thought of as a projective limit of Banach principal bundles and any connection of them is a generalized limit of Banach connections. Using the previous, we achieve to translate in the Fréchet case basic geometric properties known so far only for Banach bundles.  相似文献
