Two band groups near 1450 Å, first observed by Tanaka, Yoshino, and Freeman (J. Chem. Phys.62, 4484–4496 (1975)) in discharges through mixtures of helium and argon and assigned by them to the HeAr+ ion, were studied under high resolution. Like the similar spectrum of HeNe+ previously investigated, the spectrum of HeAr+ is a charge transfer spectrum. The upper state B2Σ+ of both band groups is derived from He+(2S) + Ar(1S) while the two lower states A22Π12 and X2Σ+ are derived from He(1S) + Ar+(2P). All three states are very weakly bound, the two lower states even more weakly than the upper state. Unlike HeNe+ most of the HeAr+ bands are violet shaded. In the longward band group each band shows only three branches while in the shortward group there are four. The former observation shows that the A22Π12 state behaves like a 2Σ? state with γv ≈ 0. The B, D, γ, p, and ΔG values of all states were evaluated. While the Bv values of upper and lower states are nearly equal, the Dv values are quite different and this difference accounts for the violet shading of most of the bands even when Bv is slightly smaller than Bv; it also accounts for some of the extraheads and linelike features in the rotational structure. As in HeNe+ the 2Π32 component of 2Π was not observed.  相似文献

The transverse spin pair correlation function pxn=<SxmSxm+n>=<SxmSxm+n> is calculated exactly in the thermodynamic limit of the system described by the one-dimensional, isotropic, spin-12, XY Hamiltonian
H=?2Jl=1N(SxlSxl+1+SylSyl+1)
. It is found that at absolute zero temperature (T = 0), the correlation function ρxn for n ≥ 0 is given by
ρx2p=142π2pΠj=1p?14j24j2?12p?2jif n=2p
,
ρx2p+1142π2p+1Πj=1p4j24j2?12p+2jif n=2p+1
, where the plus sign applies when J is positive and the minus sign applies when J is negative. From these the asymptotic behavior as n → ∞ of |?xn| at T = 0 is derived to be xn| ~ an with a = 0.147088?. For finite temperatures, ρxn is calculated numerically. By using the results for ?xn, the transverse inverse correlation length and the wavenumber dependent transverse spin pair correlation function are also calculated exactly.  相似文献

The energy level structure of 101Ru was studied using the reactions 100Mo(α, 3n)101Ru and 100Mo(3He, 2n)101Ru. Excitation functions, γγ coincidences and γ-ray angular distributions were measured. Three ΔI = 2 cascades proceeding to a 52+, 72+ and 112? state were observed. A decay scheme is presented showing energies up to 5849 keV and spins up to 352. The bands are discussed within the framework of the Nilsson model with Coriolis coupling in which the recoil effect has been properly introduced.  相似文献

Angular distributions of the vector analyzing power and the absolute cross section were measured for the 58Ni(d, p)59Ni reaction at a deuteron energy of 10 MeV. The observed j-dependence of the vector analyzing power allowed unambiguous spin assignments for the following states in 59Ni with excitation energies in MeV: 0.0, 32?; 0.341, 52?; 0.465, 12?; 0.879, 32?; 1.303, 12?; 1.686, 52?; 3.454, 32?; 3.858, 32?; 4.495, 52+. The data are well reproduced by DWBA calculations employing deuteron and proton optical model parameters obtained from analyses of elastic scattering cross sections and polarizations. A tentative spin assignment of 92+ is made for the level at 3.061 MeV. A 52+ assignment to the level at 3.538 MeV is suggested on the basis of the empirical behavior of the j-dependence of the vector analyzing power for l = 2 transitions. Measurements of the vector analyzing power for the four low-lying 59Ni states formed by l = 1 transfer were made for angles from 2.5° to 15° using a magnetic spectrograph. A very strong j-dependence was observed for these far-forward-angle measurements in agreement with DWBA predictions.  相似文献

The γ-decay of deep-hole states in 101, 105, 107Pd was studied via the (3He, αγ) reaction at E3he = 70 MeV and supplemented by data from 112, 118Sn targets to investigate the deep-hole spreading mechanism. The γ-decay pattern for the g92 deep-hole state shows a strong dependence on the spreading width: if the deep-hole state is observed as a sharp peak, it mainly decays to the low-lying 72+ state by a spin-flip M1 transition with a large M1-E2 mixing ratio; if the deep-hole state is observed as a broad bump, it decays statistically indicating the complete spreading of the hole strength over the underlying states; if the deep-hole state is observed with a structure intermediate between a sharp peak and broad bump, its γ-decay shows both decay patterns.A sharp peak at Ex = 2.396 MeV in 101Pd which carries a large fraction of the g92 hole strength (C2S = 2.0) was found to be a single state having a width of less than 2.5 keV.For the spin-flip M1 transition the destructive interference between the g92 component and the coupled components of the deep-hole state was found in heavily spread states.A quasiparticle-plus-rotor (QPR) model was applied to calculate the fragmentation in the doorway stage for the g92 neutron deep-hole state in the Pd isotopes. A reasonable agreement between the calculation and the experimental results was obtained for the strength fragmentation, for the nucleus 101Pd. However, the large M1-E2 mixing ratio experimentally observed was not reproduced.  相似文献

The level schemes of 98, 99Ru were studied with the reactions 98Mo(α, 3nγ) and 98Mo(α, 4nγ) at Eα = 35 to 55 MeV, using a large variety of in-beam γ-ray detection techniques and conversion-electron measurements. A search for the 3? state was carried out with the reaction 98Ru(p, p′). The ground-state band of 98Ru was excited up to Jπ = (12)+ and a negative-parity band up to (15)?. New levels in 98Ru were found at Ex = 2285 (Jπ = 4+), 2435 (Jπ = (3?, 4+)), 2671, 3540, 4224, 4847, 4915 (Jπ = (12)+), 4989 (Jπ = (12+)), 5521 (Jπ = (13)?), 5889, 6591 (Jπ = (15)?), and 7621 keV. New unambiguous spin and parity assignments were made for the levels at Ex = 2014 and 3852 keV, as Jπ = 3+ and 9?, respectively. New levels in 99Ru were found at Ex = 1976, 2021 (Jπ = (152+)), 2393, 2401 (Jπ = (172+)), 2875 (π = (+)), 3037, 3201 (Jπ = (232)?), 3460 (J = (172)), 3484 (Jπ = (212+)), 3985, 4224 (Jπ = (272?)), and 5359 keV. The 1070 keV, Jπ = 112? level in 99Ru has a half-life of 2.8 ns. A strongly excited negative-parity band is built on this level. A positive-parity band based on the ground state was excited up to Jπ = (212+). The level schemes are well reproduced by the interacting boson model in the vibrational limit.  相似文献

Within the framework of a perturbation theory and a quasicrystalline approximation we have solved the linearized equation of motion for the circular spin component S+j = Sxj + iSyj in a one-dimensional amorphous ferromagnet with periodic external excitation of the spin S+0 at site j = 0. It is shown that localized spin modes of the simple form «S+ja? = S + (q0) exp[iq0 · Rj - iω(q0) t] exp (-gk?Rj?) with fall-off-length κ-1 are solutions of the ensemble-averaged equation of motion. On the other hand, we have a damping of extended spin waves according to exp(-Γt). A simple relation is derived between the fall-off-length κ-1 of localized spin modes and the damping factor Γ of extended spin waves. Analogous results hold for phonons in amorphous materials.  相似文献

We studied the energy width and the width in reciprocal space Δq of the central mode of SrTiO3 above Tc. At Tc+4° we observed an energy width of about 6×10?7 eV. If the measured Δq is interpreted by a correlation length Δq?1 = ξ = ξ0??23 we obtain ξ0 = 75 A?.  相似文献

Discharges through mixtures of helium and neon show two band groups near 4250 and 4100 Å as first observed by Druyvesteyn. These bands, assigned to the HeNe+ ion by Tanaka, Yoshino, and Freeman, have been studied under high resolution and have been fairly completely analyzed. The upper state of the transition is a very weakly bound state resulting from He+(2S) + Ne(1S0). There are two lower states resulting from the two components of Ne+(2P) + He(1S0). The upper of these two (2Π12) is also very weakly bound while the lower of the two, the 2Σ+ ground state, has a dissociation energy of 0.69 eV and an re value of 1.30 Å. All bands in both band groups show four branches designated Rff, Qef, Qfe, and Pee. From their analysis the rotational constants in the various vibrational levels of the three electronic states have been determined. While no spin splitting in the B2Σ+ state has been found the ground state X2Σ shows a very large spin splitting and the A22Π12 state a very large Ω-type doubling. The vibrational numberings in all these states were established by the study of the spectrum of 3HeNe+. At the same time the hyperfine structure observed in all lines of 3HeNe+ confirmed the nature of the upper state B2Σ+ as resulting from He+ + Ne, i.e., by charge exchange from the ground state. The 2Π12 component of the 2Π state has not been observed, presumably because of low intensity.  相似文献

The emission spectrum of the He2 molecule has been rephotographed in the ~4000–~5700 Å region and the 4d(3Σu+, 3Πu, 3Δu) → 2pπ3Πg, 4d(1Σu+, 1Πu, 1Δu) → 2pπ1Πg, 4s3Σu+ → 2pπ3Πg and 4s1Σu+ → 2pπ1Πg transitions analyzed. The 4dδj3Δu, 4dπj3Πu, 4dσj3Σu+ and 4sh3Σu+ states have been characterized through v = 2 and the 4dδJ1Δu, 4dπJ1Πu, 4dσJ1Σu+, and 4sH1Σu+ states for v = 0. The term levels for these perturbed and l-uncoupled states have been confirmed (a) by analyses of bands with common levels from Δv = 0, ±1 sequences and (b) by analyses of the transitions between the above states from 4d and 4s and the c3Σg+ and C1Σg+ states associated with 3. Molecular constants are reported which have been partially corrected for the effects of l-uncoupling and the homogeneous perturbations between the state pairs J, H and j, h.  相似文献

The decays of neutron-deficient 15 s 99Ag and 124 s 99gAg nuclides have been investigated at the Leuven Isotope Separator on-line facility. Sources were produced by the 92Mo(14N, 2p5n) and natZr(14N, xn) reactions. Positron, conversion electron, X- and γ-ray singles spectra together with γ-γ coincidence measurements have been performed on mass-separated samples. The 12? isomeric level in 99)Ag decays with a 163.6 keV isomeric transition to a 72+ level at 342.6 keV. Of the 106 γ-rays observed in the β+EC decay of the 99Ag ground state, 68 γ-rays (92 % of the γ-ray intensity) have been placed in a proposed level scheme. The relative variation of the Jπ = 92+and12? levels in odd-mass Ag isotopes has been calculated using a residual proton-neutron delta interaction. The occurrence of decoupled bands in the odd Pd isotopes is discussed. Detailed calculations for 99Pd have been carried out in the framework of the Nilsson model (strong-coupling wave functions) using a strong Coriolis band mixing. Energy spectra for high-spin states, wave functions and low-lying non-yrast levels (below Ex = 1 MeV) are also discussed.  相似文献

Differential cross sections, vector and tensor analysing powers have been measured for the 61Ni(d, p) reaction at a deuteron energy of 12.3 MeV. Most of the 30 transitions observed below 8.5 MeV excitation are dominated by a single j-value, which was determined from behaviour of the analysing power data. For a number of transitions it was possible to make unambiguous j-assignment relying on the established j-dependence of the T22 tensor analysing power. The deduced spectroscopic factors indicate that the full strength of neutron transfer to the (2p, 1f52) and 1g92 orbits was found and seven 52+ transitions were located above 5.3 MeV. The separated strengths of the 32?, 12?and52? transitions are compared with shell-model calculations for the low-lying states of 62Ni.  相似文献

The magnetic hyperfine splitting vM=|gμNBHF/h| of 196mAu (jπ=12?; configuration ¦(π112(v132+)〉12?; T12 = 9.7 h) as dilute impurity in Ni has been determined with nuclear magnetic resonance on oriented nuclei as 96.0(2) MHz. With the known hyperfine field BHF = ?264.4(3.9) kG corrected for hyperfine anomalies the g-factor and magnetic moment of 196mAu are deduced to be |g| = 0.476(7) and |μ| = 5.72(8) μN. Taking into account the known magnetic properties of π12? and v132+ isomeric states in the neighbouring odd Pt, Au and Hg nuclei the structure of the 12? state is discussed.  相似文献

Gamma-ray angular distributions, nγ angular correlations, γγ coincidences and Doppler-shift attenuations have been measured in the 42Ca(α, )45Ti reaction. In addition to the known positive-parity levels forming the Kπ = 32+band, the Kπ = 12+ band members are identified in 45Ti. They are the 12+, 32+ ,52+and72+ levels at 1565 keV, 1958 keV, 2258 Reduced transition probabilities are obtained for the γ-decays of these levels as well as for those of the Kπ = 32+ band members. The excitation energies and transition probabilities are well reproduced by a rotation-particle-coupling model calculation with deformation parameter β = 0.30–0.35.  相似文献

Rotational bands up to high-spin members in odd-neutron Hf nucleides are studied by in-beam spectroscopy using (α, xn) reactions on isotopically enriched Yb targets. The 12? [521], 52? [512], and the 72+ mixed positive-parity (mainly 72+ [633]) bands were observed in 173Hf and 175Hf while the 72? [514], 92+ (mainly 92+[624]), and the 3QP(K = 232+) bands were studied in 177Hf. The analysis of the band structure within the Nilsson model is extended to also include adjacent odd Hf nuclei making it possible to follow these bands through five isotopes of Hf.  相似文献

The γ-decay of 60 and the strengths of 51 26Mg(p, γ)27Al resonances were studied for Ep < 2.20 MeV. The energies of 32 and the γ-decay of 54 bound levels were determined. Spin and parity assignments Jπ = 52+, 52?, 32?, 32+, 32+and32+ were made to the bound states at Ex = 4.81, 5.44, 6.61, 6.78, 7.68 and 7.86 MeV, respectively. Spin assignments J = 52and 32 were made to the bound levels at Einx = 5.55 and 6.08 MeV, respectively. For other levels spin and parity limitations were set. Lifetimes or lifetime upper limits of 19 bound levels were measured by means of the DSA technique. The spins and/or parities of 15 resonances were unambiguously determined from γ-ray angular distributions and strengths.  相似文献

Lifetimes of low-lying states in 19F were measured using the Doppler-shift attenuation method through the 15N(α, γ)19F reaction. Values of τm = 3700 ± 700 fs (1.35 MeV), 140 ± 15 (1.46), 19 ± 7 (4.00) and 63 ± 19 (4.03) were obtained for the lowest 52?, 32?, 72? and 92? members, respectively, of the Kπ = 12? rotational band and 5 ± 3 fs (1.55 MeV) and 370 ± 25 (2.78) for the 32+ and 92+ members of the Kπ = 12+ ground-state band. For the Doppler-shift attenuation analysis correction factors of the nuclear and electronic stopping powers were determined by measuring the Doppler-shift attenuation and γ-ray line shape of the 2.78 → 0.20 MeV transition and range values of 100, 200. 300 and 370 keV 19F nuclei in tantalum. All calculations were done with Monte Carlo methods. The transition strengths are discussed in terms of different theoretical predictions.  相似文献

We have observed inter-term Raman scattering from 5T2g5Eg Frenkel excitons in antiferromagnetic FeF2. It differs qualitatively from previously observed intra-term scattering in a sharply reduced zero-phonon cross section and the appearance of relatively strong exciton-phonon scattering. Since the Raman process is fully allowed, it is possible to measure excited state Debye-Waller factors, D, and we find D(Λ3+ + Λ4+, 5Eg) = 0.04 and D(Λ1+, 5Eg) = 0.03.  相似文献

Levels in 208At were populated in the 209Bi(α, 5n) reaction, and the subsequent radiation was studied using γ-spectroscopic methods including γ-ray excitation function and angular distribution, γγ(t) coincidence and γt measurements, as well as measurements of conversion electrons. The excited spectrum of 208At is found to consist of two almost disconnected parts which are proposed to originate from seniority-three proton and neutron cascades. Two isometric states are observed. A T12 = 45 ± 2 ns state at 1090 keV is proposed to have the main configuration πh92j20+vi?1132j?20+ and Jπ = 10?. A high-spin isomer with T12 = 1.5 ± 0.2 μs at 2276 keV is assigned to be the π(h292i132)292+vf?152j?20+Jπ = 16? state. Shell-model arguments are used to assign configurations to most of the observed levels. Transition rates are discussed.  相似文献
