Measurement of the exotic exchange reaction π?p → K+Σ? has been performed at 5 and 8 GeV, in the ?0.015 to ?0.13 and ?0.009 to ?0.15 (GeV/c)2 range of t repectively. We give the value near t = 0 of the differential cross section at 5 GeV, 21?21+76 nb/(GeV/c)2, and an upper limit (< 37 nb/GeV/c)2) at 8 GeV. As a check the measured differential cross section is given at both energies for the reaction π+p → K+Σ+ in the same range of t. 相似文献

The reaction K?p → Λγ, produced by K? stopping in a liquid hydrogen target, has been studied using a NaI(Tl) gamma-ray spectrometer. The branching ratio is based on 1355 events assigned to this branch. This is in conflict with a previous experiment, but agrees with one of the two published calculations, when recent values for the coupling constants and scattering amplitudes are used. 相似文献

Results from a high statistics study of the reaction K−p→K−π+n are presented. These results are based on data obtained with an 11 GeV/c beam using the LASS spectrometer at SLAC. The mass dependence of the spherical harmonic moments provides clear evidence for the production of the complete leading orbitally excited K1 series up through JP = 5−. These moments are used to perform an energy independent partial wave analysis of the K−π+ system from threshold to 2.6 GeV/c2 using a t-dependent parametrization of the production amplitudes. The amplitudes corroborate the leading K1(892), K21(1430), K31(1780), K41(2060), and K51(2380) resonances observed directly in the moments, and also provide new evidence for underlying states. The 0+ amplitude contains the K01(1350) and a second 0+K1(1950) at higher mass. The 1−K1(1790) seen earlier two and three-body analyses is confirmed, and evidence is provided for suppressed K−π+ decay mode of a second 1− state, the K1(1410), which has been seen in earlier three-body analyses. 相似文献

Results are presented onK + p elastic scattering and on the reactionK + p→K + pπ+π? at 70 GeV/c. For the elastic channel, we measured the total ((2.29±0.04)mb) and differentialdσ/dt cross sections. The reactionK + p→K + pπ+π? has a total cross section of (470±23) μb and is shown to be dominated by diffractive dissociation processes. The contributions of the quasi-two-body channels $$K^ + p \to K*^0 (890)\Delta ^{ + + } (1,236)$$ and $$K^ + p \to K*^0 (1,430)\Delta ^{ + + } (1,236)$$ and of the Double-Pomeron Exchange (DPE) processes are estimated. 相似文献

The unitarization of the amplitude for the decay process K
10 → π+π− and allowance for the rescattering of final-state pions in the decay process K
+ → π+π+π− make it possible to evaluate, by using the parameters extracted from data on K → 2π decays, the K
+ → π+π+π− decay width. The result agrees with the experimental width value at a level of a few percent. Allowance for corrections for
higher order terms of the momentum expansion of the amplitude for the decay process K
+ → π+π+π− leads to the slope-parameter value of g
++−th = 0.2182, which agrees with its experimental counterpart, g

Vibration-rotation and deperturbation analysis of A2Π-X2Σ+ and B2Σ+-X2Σ+ systems of the CaI molecule
Doppler-limited laser excitation spectroscopy employing narrow-band fluorescence detection was used to obtain a rotational and vibrational analysis in the (0, 0) and (1, 1) bands of the A2Π-X2Σ+ system and the (4, 2) (3, 1), (0, 0), (0, 1), (1, 2), (2, 3), and (3, 4) bands of the B2Σ+-X2Σ+ system of CaI. The A and B states are deperturbed to obtain spectroscopic constants and Franck-Condon factors. Deperturbation was necessary because of the small separation of the A and B states relative to the A ~ B interaction strength and the A2Π spin-orbit splitting.
