We show that the classical Hörmander condition, or analogously the -Hörmander condition, for singular integral operators is not sufficient to derive Coifman's inequality


where , is the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator, is any weight and is a constant depending upon and the constant of . This estimate is well known to hold when is a Calderón-Zygmund operator.

As a consequence we deduce that the following estimate does not hold:


where and where is an arbitrary weight. However, by a recent result due to A. Lerner, this inequality is satisfied whenever is a Calderón-Zygmund operator.

One of the main ingredients of the proof is a very general extrapolation theorem for weights.

In this paper, we consider a family of nonlinear integral operators of Urysohn‐type and study the pointwise convergence of the family at characteristic points of L1?function. The kernel Kλ(x,t,u(t)) depends on the positive parameter λ changing on the set of numbers with the accumulation point at infinity and Kλ(x,t,u(t)) is an entire analytic function of variable u, which is a bounded function belonging to L1(R).  相似文献

We introduce and study in a general setting the concept of homogeneity of an operator and, in particular, the notion of homogeneity of an integral operator. In the latter case, homogeneous kernels of such operators are also studied. The concept of homogeneity is associated with transformations of a measure—measure dilations, which are most natural in the context of our general research scheme. For the study of integral operators, the notions of weak and strong homogeneity of the kernel are introduced. The weak case is proved to generate a homogeneous operator in the sense of our definition, while the stronger condition corresponds to the most relevant specific examples—classes of homogeneous integral operators on various metric spaces—and allows us to obtain an explicit general form for the kernels of such operators. The examples given in the article—various specific cases—illustrate general statements and results given in the paper and at the same time are of interest in their own way.  相似文献

In this paper, the stability properties, the endpoint behavior and the invertible relations of Cauchy-type singular integral operators over an open curve are discussed. If the endpoints of the curve are not special, this type of operators are proved to be stable. At the endpoints, either the singularity or smoothness of the operators are exactly described. And the function sets or spaces on which the operators are invertible as well as the corresponding inverted operators are given. Meanwhile, some applications for the solution of Cauchy-type singular integral equations are illustrated. In this paper, we give some pointwise convergence and Fatou type convergence theorems for a family of nonlinear bivariate singular integral operators in the following form: where m1,m2 ≥ 1 are fixed natural numbers, and ω ∈ Ω, Ω denotes a nonempty set of indices endowed with a topology. Here, denotes a family of kernel functions and f belongs to the space of Lebesgue integrable functions . The authors study the singular integral operator TΩ,αf(x)=p.v.∫R^nb(|y|Ω(y′)|y|^-n-αf(x-y)dy, defined on all test functions f, where b is a bounded function, α>0, Ω(y′) is an integrable function on the unit sphere S^n-1 satisfying certain cancellation conditions. It is proved that, for n/(n α)<p<∞,TΩ,α is a bounded operator from the Hardy-Sobolev space H^pα to the Hardy space H^p. The results and its applications improve some theorems in a previous paper of the author and they are extensions of the main theorems in Wheeden‘s paper(1969). The proof is based on a new atomic decomposition of the space H^pα by Han, Paluszynski and Weiss(1995). By using the same proof,the singluar integral operators with variable kernels are also studied.  相似文献

In this work, we propose a Jacobi-collocation method to solve the second kind linear Fredholm integral equations with weakly singular kernels. Particularly, we consider the case when the underlying solutions are sufficiently smooth. In this case, the proposed method leads to a fully discrete linear system. We show that the fully discrete integral operator is stable in both infinite and weighted square norms. Furthermore, we establish that the approximate solution arrives at an optimal convergence order under the two norms. Finally, we give some numerical examples, which confirm the theoretical prediction of the exponential rate of convergence.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish a weak-type (1,1) boundedness criterion for vector-valued singular integral operators with rough kernels. As applications, we obtain weak-type (1,1) bounds for the convolution singular integral operator taking value in the Banach space Y with a rough kernel, the maximal operator taking vector value in Y with a rough kernel and several square functions with rough kernels. We consider rank one perturbations Aα=A+α(⋅,φ)φ of a self-adjoint operator A with cyclic vector φH−1(A) on a Hilbert space H. The spectral representation of the perturbed operator Aα is given by a singular integral operator of special form. Such operators exhibit what we call ‘rigidity’ and are connected with two weight estimates for the Hilbert transform. Also, some results about two weight estimates of Cauchy (Hilbert) transforms are proved. In particular, it is proved that the regularized Cauchy transforms Tε are uniformly (in ε) bounded operators from L2(μ) to L2(μα), where μ and μα are the spectral measures of A and Aα, respectively. As an application, a sufficient condition for Aα to have a pure absolutely continuous spectrum on a closed interval is given in terms of the density of the spectral measure of A with respect to φ. Some examples, like Jacobi matrices and Schrödinger operators with L2 potentials are considered.  相似文献
