A new series of intramolecular bridged alkylcobaloxime complexes were prepared by heating a solution of aqua-(3-bromopropyl)cobaloxime (1) through an intramolecular nucleophilic substitution. They are characterized by EA, ESI-MS, and (1)H NMR. Crystal structures of Br(O-C(3)H(6)-(dmgH))(dmgH)Co(III) (2), [H(2)O(O-C(3)H(6)-(dmg))(dmgH(2))Co(III)]ClO(4) (3), [Py(O-C(3)H(6)-(dmg))(dmgH(2))Co(III)]ClO(4) (4), [Bzm(O-C(3)H(6)-(dmg))(dmgH(2))Co(III)]ClO(4) (5), and Im(O-C(3)H(6)-(dmg))(dmgH)Co(III) (6') were determined by X-ray diffraction. It is revealed that an intramolecular tri-methylene bridge exists between cobalt and one of the equatorial oxime oxygens forming a six-membered ring in the complexes. Additionally, the axial bases have some influences in their structure parameters, for example, Co-L bond lengths; folding angles in equatorial ligands; hydrogen atom positions in O-H-O bridge; and the orientations of those L planes with respect to the equatorial planes.  相似文献

Reaction of [Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(Cl)(OH(2))] (1) with CN(-) under various conditions affords (PPh(4))[Os(VI)(N)(L(1))(CN)(Cl)] (2), (PPh(4))(2)[Os(VI)(N)(L(2))(CN)(2)] (3), and a novel hydrogen cyanamido complex, (PPh(4))(2)[Os(III){N(H)CN}(L(3))(CN)(3)] (4). Compound 4 reacts readily with both electrophiles and nucleophiles. Protonation and methylation of 4 produce (PPh(4))[Os(III)(NCNH(2))(L(3))(CN)(3)] (5) and (PPh(4))[Os(III)(NCNMe(2))(L(3))(CN)(3)] (6), respectively. Nucleophilic addition of NH(3), ethylamine, and diethylamine readily occur at the C atom of the hydrogen cyanamide ligand of 4 to produce osmium guanidine complexes with the general formula [Os(III){N(H)C(NH(2))NR(1)R(2)}(L(3))(CN)(3)](-) , which have been isolated as PPh(4) salts (R(1) = R(2) = H (7); R(1) = H, R(2) = CH(2)CH(3) (8); R(1) = R(2) = CH(2)CH(3) (9)). The molecular structures of 1-5 and 7 and 8 have been determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Complex 1 describes a distorted tetrahedral metallic cluster, while complex 2 can be considered to be a 2-D coordination polymer. Complexes 3-13 can all be regarded as metallo-cryptand encapsulated lanthanides in which the central lanthanide ion is captivated within a [Co(II)(6)] trigonal prism. dc and ac magnetic susceptibility studies have been carried out in the 2-300 K range for complexes 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, and 13, revealing the possibility of single molecule magnetism behavior for complex 10.  相似文献

The monohapto neutral 2-(diphenylphosphino)aniline (PNH(2)) complexes [Au(C(6)F(5))(2)X(PNH(2))] (X = C(6)F(5) (1), Cl (2)) have been obtained from [Au(C(6)F(5))(3)(tht)] or [Au(C(6)F(5))(2)(micro-Cl)](2) and PNH(2), and the cationic [Au(C(6)F(5))(2)(PNH(2))]ClO(4) (3) has been similarly prepared from [Au(C(6)F(5))(2)(OEt(2))(2)]ClO(4) and PNH(2) or from 2 and AgClO(4). The neutral amido complex [Au(C(6)F(5))(2)(PNH)] (4) can be obtained by deprotonation of 3 with PPN(acac) (acac = acetylacetonate) or by treatment of the chloro complex 2 with Tl(acac). It reacts with [Ag(OClO(3))(PPh(3))] or [Au(OClO(3))(PPh(3))] to give the dinuclear species [Au(C(6)F(5))(2)[PNH(MPPh(3))]]ClO(4) (M = Ag (5), Au (6)). The latter can also be obtained by reaction of equimolar amounts of 3 and [Au(acac)(PPh(3))]; when the molar ratio of the same reagents is 1:2, the trinuclear cationic complex [Au(C(6)F(5))(2)[PN(AuPPh(3))(2)]]ClO(4) (7) is obtained. The crystal structures of complexes 2-4 and 7 have been established by X-ray crystallography; the last-mentioned displays an unusual Au(I)-Au(III) interaction.  相似文献

New ligands H(2)L2-H(2)L6 comprise the cyclen macrocycle which is N,N'-dialkylated at the 1,7-nitrogen atoms by three- and four-carbon alkyl chains bearing terminal sulfonic (C(3) H(2)L2), phosphonic (C(3) H(2)L3, C(4) H(2)L4) or carboxylic acid (C(3) H(2)L5, C(4) H(2)L6) groups, and HL7 is N-monoalkylated by a four-carbon sulfonic acid group. The ligands were prepared by alkylation of a bridged bisaminal intermediate. The syntheses of cobalt(III) complexes containing a tetradentate cyclen, N,N'-1,7-Me(2)cyclen, cyclam or L2-L7 ligand together with the bidentate 8-quinolinato (8QO(-)) ligand, of interest as it is a model for a more potent cytotoxic analogue, were investigated. Coordination of ligands (L) cyclen, N,N'-1,7-Me(2)cyclen or cyclam to cobalt(III) was achieved using Na(3)[Co(NO(6))] to form [Co(L)(NO(2))(2)](+). HOTf (trifluoromethansulfonic acid) was used to prepare the triflato complexes [Co(L)(OTf)(2)](+), followed by substitution of the labile triflato ligands to yield [Co(L)(8QO)](ClO(4))(2) isolated as the perchlorate salts. One further example containing cyclam and the 5-hydroxymethyl-8-quinolinato ligand was also prepared by this method. Complexes containing the pendant arm ligands L2-L6 were prepared from the cobalt precursor trans-[Co(py)(4)Cl(2)](+). Reaction of this complex with H(2)L2·4HCl and 8QOH produced [Co(L2)(8QO)] in one step and contains two deprotonated sulfonato pendant arms. The reaction of H(2)L3·4HBr with [Co(py)(4)Cl(2)](+) gave [Co(L3)]Cl in which L3 acts as a hexadenate ligand with the three-carbon phosphonato side chains coordinated to cobalt. H(2)L5·4HCl bearing three-carbon carboxylic acid pendant arms gave a similar result. The four-carbon ligands were coordinated to cobalt by reaction of [Co(py)(4)Cl(2)](+) with H(2)L4·4HBr or H(2)L6·4HCl to give [Co(HL4)Cl(2)] or [Co(H(2)L6)Cl(2)]Cl, which in turn with 8QOH gave the 8QO(-) complexes [Co(L4)(8QO)] bearing anionic phosphate pendant arms or [Co(H(2)L6)(8QO)]Cl(2) containing neutral carboxylic acid side chains. The reaction of Na(3)[Co(CO(3))(3)] with the mono-N-alkylated ligand HL7·4HCl and then HOTf gave [Co(L7)(CO(3))] and then in turn [Co(L7)(OTf)(2)]. The carbonato complex [Co(L7)(CO(3))] with [8QO](2)[SO(4)] produced [Co(L7)(CO(3))]. All complexes containing L7 bear an anionic sulfonato group on the side chain. The synthesis and characterisation of the six new ligands based on N-alkylated cylen ligand and the cobalt complexes outlined above are described, along with cyclic voltammograms of the 8QO(-) complexes and the molecular structures determined by X-ray crystallography of [Co(cyclen)(H(2)O)(2)](OTf)(3) (formed by aquation of the triflato complex), [Co(cyclen)(8QO)](ClO(4))(2), Co(L2)(8QO)·2H(2)O, Co(L4)(8QO)·6H(2)O and [Co(H(2)L6)Cl(2)]Cl·H(2)O. These demonstrate the coordination of the cyclen ligand in the folded anti-O,syn-N configuration with the N-alkylated nitrogens occupying apical positions.  相似文献

With the [Re(CO)(3)Br(3)](2-) ion as a precursor for the Re(I)(CO)(3) fragment, the diols (1R,2R)-cyclohexane-1,2-diol [(1R,2R)-Chxd], anhydroerythritol (AnEryt), and (1S,2S)-cyclopentane-1,2-diol [(1S,2S)-Cptd] form dinuclear monoanions in the salts (NBu(4))[(Re(2)(CO)(6){mu-(1R,2R)-ChxdH(-1)}(3)] (1), [K([18]crown-6)][Re(2)(CO)(6)(mu-OMe)(2)(mu-AnErytH(-1))] (2) and (NBu(4))[Re(2)(CO)(6){mu-(1S,2S)-CptdH(-1)}(3)] (3). The monoanionic diolato ligands in these triply bridged dirhenates(I) are monodentate. Bridging triolato ligation in the trirhenates(I) is supported by the anions of glycerol (Glyc) and methyl beta-D-ribopyranoside (Me-beta-D-Ribp), the latter binding in its (1)C(4) conformation, in (DBUH)(2)[Re(3)(CO)(9)(mu(3)-O)(mu(3)-GlycH(-3))]0.5 MeCN (4 a), (NEt(4))[Re(3)(CO)(9)(mu(3)-OMe)(mu(3)-GlycH(-3))] (4 b) and (DBUH)[Re(3)(CO)(9)(mu(3)-OMe)(mu(3)-(1)C(4)-Me-beta-D-Ribp2,3,4H(-3))] (5). The chiral sugar alcohols L-threitol (L-Thre) and D-arabitol (D-Arab) act as tetra- and pentadentate ligands, respectively, in (NEt(4))[Re(2)(CO)(6)(L-ThreH(-3))]MeCN (6) and (NEt(4))(2)(DBUH)(2)[Re(6)(CO)(18)(D-ArabH(-5))(2)] (7). Complexes 6 and 7 are free of supporting oxo or methoxo ligands and use solely the O-atom pattern of the polyol for the connection of the Re(I)(CO)(3) moieties.  相似文献

The electronic structures of complexes of iron containing two S,S'-coordinated benzene-1,2-dithiolate, (L)(2)(-), or 3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzenedithiolate, (L(Bu))(2)(-), ligands have been elucidated in depth by electronic absorption, infrared, X-band EPR, and Mossbauer spectroscopies. It is conclusively shown that, in contrast to earlier reports, high-valent iron(IV) (d(4), S = 1) is not accessible in this chemistry. Instead, the S,S'-coordinated radical monoanions (L(*))(1)(-) and/or (L(Bu)(*))(1)(-) prevail. Thus, five-coordinate [Fe(L)(2)(PMe(3))] has an electronic structure which is best described as [Fe(III)(L)(L(*))(PMe(3))] where the observed triplet ground state of the molecule is attained via intramolecular, strong antiferromagnetic spin coupling between an intermediate spin ferric ion (S(Fe) = (3)/(2)) and a ligand radical (L(*))(1)(-) (S(rad) = (1)/(2)). The following complexes containing only benzene-1,2-dithiolate(2-) ligands have been synthesized, and their electronic structures have been studied in detail: [NH(C(2)H(5))(3)](2)[Fe(II)(L)(2)] (1), [N(n-Bu)(4)](2)[Fe(III)(2)(L)(4)] (2), [N(n-Bu)(4)](2)[Fe(III)(2)(L(Bu))(4)] (3); [P(CH(3))Ph(3)][Fe(III)(L)(2)(t-Bu-py)] (4) where t-Bu-py is 4-tert-butylpyridine. Complexes containing an Fe(III)(L(*))(L)- or Fe(III)(L(Bu))(L(Bu)(*))- moiety are [N(n-Bu)(4)][Fe(III)(2)(L(Bu))(3)(L(Bu)(*))] (3(ox)()), [Fe(III)(L)(L(*))(t-Bu-py)] (4(ox)()), [Fe(III)(L(Bu))(L(Bu)(*))(PMe(3))] (7), [Fe(III)(L(Bu))(L(Bu)(*))(PMe(3))(2)] (8), and [Fe(III)(L(Bu))(L(Bu)(*))(PPr(3))] (9), where Pr represents the n-propyl substituent. Complexes 2, 3(ox)(), 4, [Fe(III)(L)(L(*))(PMe(3))(2)] (6), and 9 have been structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Two new dinucleating ligands 1,2,4,5-tetrakis(2-pyridinecarboxamido)benzene, H(4)(tpb), and 1,2,4,5-tetrakis(4-tert-butyl-2-pyridinecarboxamido)benzene, H(4)(tbpb), have been synthesized, and the following dinuclear cyano complexes of cobalt(III) and iron(III) have been isolated: Na(2)[Co(III)(2)(tpb)(CN)(4)] (1); [N(n-Bu)(4)](2)[Co(III)(2)(tbpb)(CN)(4)] (2); [Co(III)(2)(tbpb(ox2))(CN)(4)] (3); [N(n-Bu)(4)](2)[Fe(III)(2)(tpb)(N(3))(4)] (4); [N(n-Bu)(4)](2)[Fe(III)(2)(tpb)(CN)(4)] (5); [N(n-Bu)(4)](2)[Fe(III)(2)(tbpb)(CN)(4)] (6). Complexes 2-4 and 6 have been structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography at 100 K. From electrochemical and spectroscopic (UV-vis, IR, EPR, M?ssbauer) and magnetochemical investigations it is established that the coordinated central 1,2,4,5-tetraamidobenzene entity in the cyano complexes can be oxidized in two successive one-electron steps yielding paramagnetic (tbpb(ox1))(3)(-) and diamagnetic (tbpb(ox2))(2)(-) anions. Thus, complex 6 exists in five characterized oxidation levels: [Fe(III)(2)(tbpb(ox2))(CN)(4)](0) (S = 0); [Fe(III)(2)(tbpb(ox1))(CN)(4)](-) (S = (1)/(2)); [Fe(III)(2)(tbpb)(CN)(4)](2)(-) (S = 0); [Fe(III)Fe(II)(tbpb)(CN)(4)](3)(-) (S = (1)/(2)); [Fe(II)(2)(tbpb)(CN)(4)](4)(-) (S = 0). The iron(II) and (III) ions are always low-spin configurated. The electronic structure of the paramagnetic iron(III) ions and the exchange interaction of the three-spin system [Fe(III)(2)(tbpb(ox1))(CN)(4)](-) are characterized in detail. Similarly, for 2 three oxidation levels have been identified and fully characterized: [Co(III)(2)(tbpb)(CN)(4)](2)(-) (S = 0); [Co(III)(2)(tbpb(ox1))(CN)(4)](-) (S = (1)/(2)); [Co(III)(2)(tbpb(ox2))(CN)(4)](0). The crystal structures of 2 and 3 clearly show that the two electron oxidation of 2 yielding 3 affects only the central tetraamidobenzene part of the ligand.  相似文献

The reaction of AgClO(4) and NH(3) in acetone gave [Ag(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (1). The reactions of 1 with [RhCl(diolefin)](2) or [RhCl(CO)(2)](2) (2:1) gave the bis(acetimine) complexes [Rh(diolefin)(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) [diolefin = 1,5 cyclooctadiene = cod (2), norbornadiene = nbd (3)] or [Rh(CO)(2)(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (4), respectively. Mono(acetimine) complexes [Rh(diolefin)(NH=CMe(2))(PPh(3))]ClO(4) [diolefin = cod (5), nbd (6)] or [RhCl(diolefin)(NH=CMe(2))] [diolefin = cod (7), nbd (8)] were obtained by reacting 2 or 3 with PPh(3) (1:1) or with Me(4)NCl (1:1.1), respectively. The reaction of 4 with PR(3) (R = Ph, To, molar ratio 1:2) led to [Rh(CO)(NH=CMe(2))(PR(3))(2)]ClO(4) [R = Ph (9), C(6)H(4)Me-4 = To (10)] while cis-[Rh(CO)(NH=CMe(2))(2)(PPh(3))]ClO(4) (11) was isolated from the reaction of 1 with [RhCl(CO)(PPh(3))](2) (1:1). The crystal structures of 5 and [Ag[H(2)NC(Me)(2)CH(2)C(O)Me](PTo(3))]ClO(4) (A), a product obtained in a reaction between NH(3), AgClO(4), and PTo(3), have been determined.  相似文献

Reactions of 1,1'-bis(dipheny1phosphino)ferrocene with Ni(PMe(3))(4), NiMe(2)(PMe(3))(3), or Co(PMe(3))(4) gives rise to complexes [Fe(η(5)-C(5)H(4)[upper bond 1 start]PPh(2))(2)M[upper bond 1 end](PMe(3))(2)] (M = Ni (7), Co (8)). The complexes 1-8 were spectroscopically investigated and studied by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The possible reaction mechanisms and structural characteristics are discussed. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations strongly support the deductions.  相似文献

[Rh(Cp)Cl(mu-Cl)](2) (Cp = pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) reacts (i) with [Au(NH=CMe(2))(PPh(3))]ClO(4) (1:2) to give [Rh(Cp)(mu-Cl)(NH=CMe(2))](2)(ClO(4))(2) (1), which in turn reacts with PPh(3) (1:2) to give [Rh(Cp)Cl(NH=CMe(2))(PPh(3))]ClO(4) (2), and (ii) with [Ag(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (1:2 or 1:4) to give [Rh(Cp)Cl(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (3) or [Rh(Cp)(NH=CMe(2))(3)](ClO(4))(2).H(2)O (4.H(2)O), respectively. Complex 3 reacts (i) with XyNC (1:1, Xy = 2,6-dimethylphenyl) to give [Rh(Cp)Cl(NH=CMe(2))(CNXy)]ClO(4) (5), (ii) with Tl(acac) (1:1, acacH = acetylacetone) or with [Au(acac)(PPh(3))] (1:1) to give [Rh(Cp)(acac)(NH=CMe(2))]ClO(4) (6), (iii) with [Ag(NH=CMe(2))(2)]ClO(4) (1:1) to give 4, and (iv) with (PPN)Cl (1:1, PPN = Ph(3)P=N=PPh(3)) to give [Rh(Cp)Cl(imam)]Cl (7.Cl), which contains the imam ligand (N,N-NH=C(Me)CH(2)C(Me)(2)NH(2) = 4-imino-2-methylpentan-2-amino) that results from the intramolecular aldol-type condensation of the two acetimino ligands. The homologous perchlorate salt (7.ClO(4)) can be prepared from 7.Cl and AgClO(4) (1:1), by treating 3 with a catalytic amount of Ph(2)C=NH, in an atmosphere of CO, or by reacting 4with (PPN)Cl (1:1). Reactions of 2-(diphenylphosphinomethyl)aniline, H(2)L(2), with (NBu(4))[ReOCl(4)] yield different oxo rhenium(V) complexes depending on the conditions applied. This comprises monomeric compounds such as [ReOCl(3)(H(2)L(2))] (1), [ReOCl(2)(OMe)(H(2)L(2))] (2), or [ReO(2)(H(2)L(2))(2)]Cl (5) as well as the dimeric μ-oxo complex [{ReOCl(2)(H(2)L(2))}(2)]O] (3) and the oxo-bridged trimer [{ReOCl(H(2)L(2))}O](3) (4). The latter compound represents the first example of a hitherto unknown trinuclear, cyclic oxo(V) core. [{ReOCl(H(2)L(2))}O](3) contains a tensed 6-membered metallacycle, which readily undergoes rearrangements and reactions with additional ligands. Compounds of the compositions 5 and [ReO(2)(H(2)L(2))(H(2)L(1))]Cl (6) were isolated either from the decomposition of 4 in CH(2)Cl(2)/n-pentane or from reactions with 2-(diphenylphosphino)aniline, H(2)L(1).  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of the bis(bidentate) Schiff-base ligand [(R)-2] formed by the condensation reaction of (R)-1,1'-binaphthyl-2,2'-diamine [(R)-BINAM] with pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde is presented. The coordination chemistry of (R)-2 with Ni(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O, Co(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O, CuCl(2), and CuSO(4) has been investigated. Reaction of (R)-2 with the first two metal salts leads to complexes of the type [M((R)-4)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (M = Ni(II), Co(II)), where (R)-4 is a tridentate ligand resulting from the hydrolytic cleavage of one of the pyridyl groups from (R)-2. Both complexes were characterized by X-ray crystallography, which showed that the Lambda absolute configuration of the metal center is favored in both cases. (1)H NMR spectroscopy suggests that the high diastereoselectivity of Lambda-[Co((R)-4)(2)](ClO(4))(2) is maintained in solution. The reaction of (R)-2 with CuCl(2) leads to the dinuclear complex [Cu(2)((R)-2)Cl(4)], which has a [Cu(2)(mu(2)-Cl(2))] core. The reaction of CuSO(4) with (R)-2 gives a dimeric complex, [Cu((R)-4)SO(4)](2), which features a [Cu(2)(mu(2)-(SO(4))(2))] core. This complex can be prepared directly by the reaction of (R)-BINAM with pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde and CuSO(4). The use of rac-BINAM in this synthetic procedure leads to the heterochiral dimer [Cu(2)((R)-4)((S)-4)(SO(4))(2)]; that is, the ligands undergo a self-sorting (self/nonself discrimination) process based on chirality. The reaction of rac-BINAM, pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde, and Co(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O proceeds via a homochiral self-sorting pathway to produce a racemic mixture of [Co((R)-4)(2)](2+) and [Co((S)-4)(2)](2+). The variable-temperature magnetic susceptibilities of the bimetallic complexes [Cu(2)((R)-2)Cl(4)], [Cu((R)-4)(mu(2)-SO(4))](2), and [Cu(2)((R)-4)((S)-4)(mu(2)-SO(4))(2)] all show weak antiferromagnetic coupling with J = -1.0, -0.40, and -0.67 cm(-)(1), respectively.  相似文献

The reaction of the dicarbaphosphazene, [NC(NMe(2))](2)[NPCl(2)] (2), with the sodium salt of 4-hydroxy-4'-vinylbiphenyl afforded the vinyl group containing monomer [NC(NMe(2))](2)[NP(Cl)(O-C(6)H(4)-p-C(6)H(4)-p-CH=CH(2))] (3). Replacement of the lone chlorine atom of 3 by oxygen nucleophiles gave [NC(NMe(2))](2)[NP(OR)(O-C(6)H(4)-p-C(6)H(4)-p-CH=CH(2))] [R = CH(2)CF(3) (4); C(6)H(5) (5); C(6)H(4)-m-CH(3) (6); C(6)H(4)-p-Br(7)]. The X-ray crystal structures of 3-7 reveal that all the cyclodicarbaphosphazenes have a planar N(3)PC(2) ring; the ring carbons are completely planar, while the geometry around phosphorus is pseudotetrahedral. The presence of weak intermolecular hydrogen bonding [C-H---X(Cl or Br), C-H---N, or C-H---pi] interactions in 3-7 leads to the formation of polymeric architectures in the solid-state. The monomers 4-7 can be polymerized by a free-radical initiator to afford the corresponding air-stable homopolymers 8-11. These have moderate molecular weights with polydispersity indices ranging from 1.33 to 1.58. All of these polymers have high glass transition temperatures and have excellent thermal stability.  相似文献

The Co(III) complex of the Schiff base ligand N-2-mercaptophenyl-2'-pyridylmethyl-enimine (PyASH), namely, [Co(PyAS)(2)]Cl (1), has been synthesized via an improved method and its structure has been determined by X-ray crystallography. The two deprotonated ligands are arranged in mer configuration around the Co(III) center and the overall coordination geometry is octahedral. The coordinated azomethine function in 1 is rapidly converted into carboxamido group upon reaction with OH(-). The product is the bis carboxamido complex (Et(4)N)[Co(PyPepS)(2)] (2), reported by us previously. Reaction of H(2)O(2) with 1 in DMF affords [Co(PyASO(2))(PyPepSO(2))] (3), a species with mixed imine and carboxamido-N donor centers as well as S-bound sulfinates. Further reaction with H(2)O(2) in the presence of NaClO(4) converts 3 into the previously reported bis carboxamido/sulfinato complex Na[Co(PyPepSO(2))(2)] (4). The reaction conditions for the various transformation reactions for complexes 1-4 and the structure of 3 are also reported. The mechanism of the -CH=NR + [O] --> -C(=O)NHR transformation has been discussed. The reactions reported here provide convenient alternate routes for the syntheses of Co(III) complexes with coordinated carboxamide, thiolate, and/or sulfinate donors as models for the Co-site in the Co-containing nitrile hydratase(s).  相似文献

The Fe(III) and Co(III) complexes of the ligand N-(2-picolyl)picolinamide (pmpH; H represents the dissociable amide hydrogen), namely, [Fe(pmp)(2)]BF(4) (1) and [Co(pmp)(2)]ClO(4) (2), have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The [bond]CH(2)[bond] moiety of pmp(-) in [M(pmp)(2)](+) (M = Fe, Co) is very reactive and is readily converted to carbonyl (C[double bond]O) group upon exposure to dioxygen. Such conversion results in [M(bpca)(2)]ClO(4) complexes (M = Fe (3), Co (5); bpcaH = bis(2-pyridylcarbonyl)amine) which have been characterized by spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The structure of 5 is reported here for the first time. The reactivity of the [bond]CH(2)[bond] moiety of pmp(-) has so far precluded the isolation of 1 although other metal complexes of pmp(-) have been reported years ago. The CH(2) --> C[double bond]O transformation arises from the tendency of the coordinated pmp(-) ligand to achieve further conjugation in the ligand framework and provides a better way to synthesize the metal complexes of bpcaH ligand. Reaction of 3 with NaH affords Fe(II) complex [Fe(bpca)(2)] (4) without any reduction of the ligand frame.  相似文献

Three Co(II)-malonate complexes, namely, (C(5)H(7)N(2))(4)[Co(C(3)H(2)O(4))(2)(H(2)O)(2)](NO(3))(2) (1), (C(5)H(7)N(2))(4)[Co(C(3)H(2)O(4))(2)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (2), and (C(5)H(7)N(2))(4)[Co(C(3)H(2)O(4))(2)(H(2)O)(2)](PF(6))(2) (3) [C(5)H(7)N(2) = protonated 2-aminopyridine, C(3)H(4)O(4) = malonic acid, NO(3)(-) = nitrate, ClO(4)(-) = perchlorate, PF(6)(-) = hexafluorophosphate], have been synthesized from purely aqueous media, and their crystal structures have been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. A thorough analysis of Hirshfeld surfaces and fingerprint plots facilitates a comparison of intermolecular interactions in 1-3, which are crucial in building supramolecular architectures. When these complexes are structurally compared with their previously reported analogous Ni(II) or Mg(II) compounds, a very interesting feature regarding the role of counteranions has emerged. This phenomenon can be best described as anion-induced formation of extended supramolecular networks of the type lone pair-π/π-π/π-anion-π/π-lone pair and lone pair-π/π-π/π-anion involving various weak forces like lone pair-π, π-π, and anion-π interactions. The strength of these π contacts has been estimated using DFT calculations (M06/6-31+G*), and the formation energy of the supramolecular networks has been also evaluated. The influence of the anion (NO(3)(-), ClO(4)(-), and PF(6)(-)) on the total interaction energy of the assembly is also studied.  相似文献

Optically pure anionic complexes of pyridinecarboxamide ligands, N(2),N(6)-bis((R)-α-methylbenzyl)pyridine-2, 6-dicarboxamide H(2)(R,R-L(1)) and N(2),N(6)-bis((S)-1-methoxypropan-2-yl)pyridine-2, 6-dicarboxamide H(2)(S,S-L(2)) have been synthesised and fully characterised. The complexes: (18-crown-6)K[Co(III)(R,R-L(1))(2)], (18-crown-6)K[Fe(III)(R,R-L(1))(2)] and K[Co(III)(S,S-L(2))(2)]·3H(2)O show interesting extended structures from 0D discrete units through 1D zigzag chains to 2D honeycomb layers. The complex anions were used in the synthesis of radical cation salts with tetrathiafulvalene (TTF). The salts (TTF)[Co(III)(R,R-L(1))(2)] and (TTF)[Co(III)(S,S-L(2))(2)]·EtOAc were characterised by single crystal X-ray diffraction and conductivity measurements. Both compounds comprise mono-oxidised TTF molecules and exhibit similar layered structures with no direct TTF stacking but in which phenyl substituents from the complex anion or co-crystallised ethyl acetate alternate with TTF(+) units. Solution spectroscopic and cyclic voltammetric evidence points to the formation of soluble assemblies between TTF(+) and the counterion which correspond to the stoichiometry observed by crystallography and other methods in the solid state.  相似文献

A series of trigonal bipyramidal pentanuclear complexes involving the alkoxo-diazine ligands poap and p3oap, containing the M(5)[mu-O](6) core is described, which form by a strict self-assembly process. [Co(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).3H(2)O (1), [Mn(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).3.5CH(3)OH.H(2)O (2), [Mn(5)(p3oap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).CH(3)CH(2)OH.3H(2)O (3), and [Zn(5)(poap-H)(6)](ClO(4))(4).2.5H(2)O (4) are homoleptic pentanuclear complexes, where there is an exact match between the coordination requirements of the five metal ions in the cluster, and the available coordination pockets in the polytopic ligand. [Zn(4)(poap)(poap-H)(3)(H(2)O)(4)] (NO(3))(5).1.5H(2)O (5) is a square [2 x 2] grid with a Zn(4)[mu-O](4) core, and appears to result from the presence of NO(3), which is thought to be a competing ligand in the self-assembly. X-ray structures are reported for 1, 4, and 5. 1 crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n with a = 13.385(1) A, b = 25.797(2) A, c = 28.513(3) A, beta = 98.704(2) degrees, and Z = 4. 4 crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 13.0897(9) A, b = 18.889(1) A, c = 20.506(2) A, alpha = 87.116(1) degrees, beta = 74.280(2) degrees, gamma = 75.809(2) degrees, and Z = 2. 5 crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n with a = 14.8222(7) A, b = 21.408(1) A, c = 21.6197(9) A, beta = 90.698(1) degrees, and Z = 4. Compounds 1-3 exhibit intramolecular antiferromagnetic coupling.  相似文献

Crystalline materials have been isolated and characterized from mixing the silver carborane salts Ag(CB(11)H(12)) or Ag[Co(C(2)B(9)H(11))(2)] with nitrile ligands, either terminal acetonitrile or potentially bridging alkanedinitriles. Most of the complexes showed B-H...Ag interactions between the silver center and carborane anion. [Ag(acetonitrile)(2)(CB(11)H(12))] has a hexagonal network structure. [Ag(malonitrile)(2)(CB(11)H(12))] is a discrete dimeric complex, while [Ag(4)(succinonitrile)(5)(CB(11)H(12))(4)], [Ag(glutaronitrile)(2)][Co(C(2)B(9)H(12))(2)], and [Ag(glutaronitrile)[Co(C(2)B(9)H(11))(2)]] all show coordination chain structures. The carborane anions in [Ag(adiponitrile)[Co(C(2)B(9)H(11))(2)]] bridge between Ag centers to give a 3D CdSO(4)-related coordination polymer. The structure of [Ag(malonitrile)(2)](BF(4)) was also determined to have an unusual chiral diamondoid structure with a skewed 2-fold interpenetration.  相似文献
