In the present study, the Aharonov–Bohm effect for bound states in Kane-type quantum wire is analysed. It is demonstrated that the wave function and the energy spectra of carriers depend on the magnetic flux. The energy and the g factor of electrons are of a periodic function of the magnetic flux. The statistical property of the orbital magnetism of electrons at low temperatures and strong magnetic fields is presented. It is shown that the magnetisation of electron oscillations depends on the magnetic flux.  相似文献

It is found from Maxwell’s equations that the magnetic field lines are good analogues of relativistic strings. The Lorentz force per unit length of magnetic tube is interpretable as Magnus force acting on each individual magnetic tube. It is shown that the superconducting current in pulsar’s interior causes local rotation of magnetic flux tubes carrying quantized flux. Such local rotation remains operative as long as the induced magnetic field of normal electron fluid is above the lower critical field but below the upper. The conservation of magnetic flux leads to a geometrical condition in the form of the Weingarten identity which ensures the existence of family of “magnetic world sheetrdquo;. Each “magnetic world sheet” is a magnetic flux conserving surface. In the process of collapse, a compact spacelike cross-section of a magnetic tube terminates into a trapped surface if the magnetic energy grows faster along the fluid flow lines than that along the magnetic field lines.  相似文献

We have theoretically analyzed the quasibound states in a graphene quantum dot (GQD) with a magnetic flux Φ in the centre. It is shown that the two-fold time reversal degeneracy is broken and the quasibound states of GQD with positive/negative angular momentum shifted upwards /downwards with increasing the magnetic flux. The variation of the quasibound energy depends linearly on the magnetic flux, which is quite different from theparabolic relationship for Schrödinger electrons. The GQD's quasibound states spectrum shows an obvious Aharonov-Bohm (AB) oscillations with the magnetic flux. It is also shown that the quasibound state with energy equal to the barrier height becomes a bound state completely confined in GQD.  相似文献

It is shown that the relaxation of a magnetic flux in superconductors is significantly affected by the flux configuration and the sample shape. In particular, variation in the magnetic flux configuration in YBCO plates makes it possible not only to change the relaxation rate but also significantly delay the flux relaxation.  相似文献

It is shown by using a two-dimensional fully relativistic electromagnetic particle-in-cell code that the tearing instability in a current sheet of pair plasmas is caused by Landau resonances of both electrons and positrons. Strong magnetic flux can be generated during coalescence of magnetic islands in the nonlinear phase of the tearing instability. The magnetic flux produced in an O-type magnetic island is caused by the counterstreaming instability found by Kazimura et al. [Astrophys. J. Lett. 498, L183 (1998); J. Phys. Soc. Jpn. 67, 1079 (1998)]. It is also shown that charge separation with a quadrupole-like structure is generated from the localized strong magnetic flux. During the decay of the quadrupole-like charge structure as well as the magnetic flux, there appear wave emissions with high-frequency electromagnetic waves and Alfvén waves as well as Langmuir waves.  相似文献

The present work is intended to gain a fruitful insight into the understanding of the formations of magneto-vortex configurations and their role in the physical processes of mutual exchange of energies associated with fluid’s motion and the magnetic fields in an axisymmetric stationary hydromagnetic system subject to strong gravitational field (e.g., neutron star/magnetar). It is found that the vorticity flux vector field associated with vorticity 2-form is a linear combination of fluid’s vorticity vector and of magnetic vorticity vector. The vorticity flux vector obeys Helmholtz’s flux conservation. The energy equation associated with the vorticity flux vector field is deduced. It is shown that the mechanical rotation of vorticity flux surfaces contributes to the formation of vorticity flux vector field. The dynamo action for the generation of toroidal components of vorticity flux vector field is described in the presence of meridional circulations. It is shown that the stretching of twisting magnetic lines due to differential rotation leads to the breakdown of gravitational isorotation in the absence of meridional circulations. An explicit expression consists of rotation of vorticity flux surface, energy and angular momentum per baryon for the fluid-magnetic helicity current vector is obtained. The conservation of fluid-magnetic helicity is demonstrated. It is found that the fluid-magnetic helicity displays the energy spectrum arising due to the interaction between the mechanical rotation of vorticity flux surfaces and the fluid’s motion obeying Euler’s equations. The dissipation of a linear combination of modified fluid helicity and magnetic twist is shown to occur due to coupled effect of frame dragging and meridional circulation. It is found that the growing twist of magnetic lines causes the dissipation of modified fluid helicity in the absence of meridional circulations.  相似文献

The quantization of the magnetic flux in superconducting rings is studied in the frame of a topological model of electromagnetism that gives a topological formulation of electric charge quantization. It turns out that the model also embodies a topological mechanism for the quantization of the magnetic flux with the same relation between the fundamental units of magnetic charge and flux as there is between the Dirac monopole and the fluxoid.  相似文献

The dynamical process of magnetic flux variation in a fluid’s stream tube is described by constructing \(1+1+ (2)\) decomposition of the gradient of fluid’s 4-velocity. The necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained for a spacelike congruence to be a congruence of rigidly connected spacelike curves. The evolution of magnetic flux in a magnetic tube is explored under the assumptions that magnetic lines are rigidly connected and the chemical potential of the fluid is constant along a magnetic tube. The interplay between magnetic and stream tubes is demonstrated. It is shown that the growth of magnetic energy in a magnetic tube cannot exceed to that of a stream tube. It is found that the proper time variation of twist of magnetic lines is caused by gravitation inside a neutron star if magnetic lines are rigidly connected and charge neutrality condition holds. Helmholtz-like magnetic vorticity flux conservation in a magnetic tube constituted by rigidly connected geodetic magnetic lines is derived under the assumption that the charge neutrality condition holds. It is shown that the winding of frozen-in poloidal magnetic field due to differential rotation requires meridional circulation in an axisymmetric stationary hydromagnetic configuration.  相似文献

The magnetic flux trapping by surface superconductivity is considered. The stability of the state localized at the cylindrical sample surface upon a change in the external magnetic field is tested. It is shown that as the magnetic field decreases, the sample acquires a positive magnetic moment due to magnetic flux trapping; i.e., the magnetization curve of surface superconductivity is “paramagnetic” by nature.  相似文献

The evolution of the magnetic helicity tensor for a nonzero mean magnetic field and for large magnetic Reynolds numbers in an anisotropic turbulence is studied. It is shown that the isotropic and anisotropic parts of the magnetic helicity tensor have different characteristic times of evolution. The time of variation of the isotropic part of the magnetic helicity tensor is much larger than the correlation time of the turbulent velocity field. The anisotropic part of the magnetic helicity tensor changes for the correlation time of the turbulent velocity field. The mean turbulent flux of the magnetic helicity is calculated as well. It is shown that even a small anisotropy of turbulence strongly modifies the flux of the magnetic helicity. It is demonstrated that the tensor of the magnetic part of the alpha effect for weakly inhomogeneous turbulence is determined only by the isotropic part of the magnetic helicity tensor.  相似文献

The influence of local and global magnetic field line shear on structure formation and transport in dissipative drift-Alfvén turbulence is explored. It is found that the generation of zonal flow shear is connected to magnetic shear in ways not accounted previously. The concept of a locally sheared slab flux tube model (including toroidicity) is introduced in order to extend previous analyses to general local variations of magnetic field line shear. It is shown that local shear damping is efficient even when flux surface averaged shear is low.  相似文献

A betatron on the leakage flux from two windings connected oppositely and laid around a closed magnetic circuit is considered. The governing magnetic field in the interpole gap is created by a leakage magnetic flux between the windings, while the accelerating magnetic flux is generated by the difference of the ampere-turns of the windings in a closed magnetic circuit. Results are presented that were obtained by examining the proposed scheme and by comparing it with the classical betatron scheme. It is shown that the use of a closed magnetic circuit, with the demagnetization of steel, makes it possible to implement, in the most economical way, the potential of the induction method of acceleration.  相似文献

The influence of the fractal clusters of a normal phase, which act as pinning centers, on the dynamics of magnetic flux in percolative type-II superconductor is considered. The voltage–current characteristics of such a superconductor are obtained taking into account the effect of fractal properties of cluster boundaries on the magnetic flux trapping. It is revealed that the fractality reduces the electric field arising from magnetic flux motion and thereby raises the critical current of a superconductor.  相似文献

Electromagnetic properties of YBaCuO superconductor were measured on applying an external magnetic field to study non-volatile magnetic effect. The voltage increases with increase in applied magnetic flux, but it becomes constant at about 10−2 T. The appearance of the voltage is ascribed to the trapping of magnetic flux. By changing the density of external magnetic flux, changes in inductance of a coil in which a superconducting bar inserted were also measured. The results showed that the filament model was valid to explain the mechanism of the occurrence of a voltage in superconducting sample. It was concluded that the electromagnetic properties arose from the interaction between the trapped magnetic flux and weak link of the filament formed in the superconducting bulk.  相似文献

The magnetic properties of a nanotube are investigated using a model in which the helical symmetry of the nanotube is governed by an extended δ potential. The magnetic moment of the system is studied as a function of the magnetic flux. It is demonstrated that the equilibrium magnetic moment at a large amplitude of the δ potential is a smooth function of the magnetic flux. An expression is derived for the magnetic moment induced in the given system for the case in which the electron current in a ballistic regime passes through the system.  相似文献

便捷获取铁磁承载构件应力对维护基础设施安全具有重要意义.其关键在于准确快速地确定随应力变化灵敏度高、线性度好的表征参数.现有电磁检测法一般在时变磁场线圈激励下,逐点分析实验结果来确定合适的表征参数,会带来线圈发热、涡流影响结果的问题,表征磁参数的确立繁琐.为此,本文提出基于表面磁感应强度的铁磁构件应力恒磁表征方法,采用永磁恒定磁化器产生全局衰减局部均匀的空间变化磁场作激励,用正交磁场测量单元拾取构件表面轴向和法向磁感应强度以表征应力.着重阐述基于表面磁感应强度的应力表征原理:根据退磁场理论、磁场强度切向连续性和磁场高斯定理,建立表面轴向和法向磁感应强度关于应力导函数之间的关系方程.最后开展实验验证.结果表明:根据该关系方程可快速准确地确定随应力灵敏度最高的表面磁感应强度,且其随应力变化线性度较好,拟合优度R2大于0.98,可作为应力表征磁参数.本文所提方法可为在线检测铁磁构件应力提供新途径.  相似文献

Landau problem has a very important application in modern physics, in which two-dimensional electron gas system and quantum Hall effect are outstanding. In this paper, first we review the solution of the Pauli equation, then using the single electron wave function, we calculate moving area expectations of the ideal 2-dimensional electron gas system and the per unit area’s degeneracy of the electron gas system. As a result, how to calculate the magnetic flux of the electron gas system is given. It shows that the magnetic flux of 2-dimensional electron gas system in magnetic field is quantized, and magnetic flux quantization results from the quantization of the moving area expectations of electron gas system.  相似文献

The influence of a non-stationary gravitational field on a superconducting circuit is studied. It is shown that the quantum mechanical quantization of magnetic flux in a superconducting circuit can be used to detect gravitational radiation, in principle. For two such devices, the change in the magnetic flux in one of the solenoids in each superconducting circuit, due to a gravitational wave, is computed.  相似文献

The critical state of a two-dimensional discrete superconductor in an external magnetic field is studied. This state is found to be self-organized in the generalized sense, i.e., is a set of metastable states that transform to each other by means of avalanches. An avalanche is characterized by the penetration of a magnetic flux to the system. The sizes of the occurring avalanches, i.e., changes in the magnetic flux, exhibit the power-law distribution. It is also shown that the size of the avalanche occurring in the critical state and the external magnetic field causing its change are statistically independent quantities.  相似文献
